ਗਉੜੀਕਬੀਰਜੀ॥
Gauree, Kabeer Jee:
गउड़ी कबीर जी ॥
ਗਉੜੀ ਕਬੀਰ ਜੀ ॥
ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਨੂੰ ਛੂਹ ਕੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਕੋਸ਼ ਅਰਥ ਵੇਖੋ
ਨਗਨਫਿਰਤਜੌਪਾਈਐਜੋਗੁ॥
ਜੇ ਨੰਗੇ ਫਿਰਦਿਆਂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ,
If Yoga could be obtained by wandering around naked,
नगन फिरत जौ पाईऐ जोगु ॥
ਬਨਕਾਮਿਰਗੁਮੁਕਤਿਸਭੁਹੋਗੁ੧॥॥
ਤਾਂ ਜੰਗਲ ਦਾ ਹਰੇਕ ਪਸ਼ੂ ਮੁਕਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
then all the deer of the forest would be liberated. ||1||
बन का मिरगु मुकति सभु होगु ॥१॥
ਕਿਆਨਾਗੇਕਿਆਬਾਧੇਚਾਮ॥
(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਤਦ ਤਕ ਨੰਗੇ ਰਿਹਾਂ ਕੀਹ ਸੌਰ ਜਾਣਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਪਿੰਡੇ ਤੇ ਚੰਮ ਲਪੇਟਿਆਂ ਕੀਹ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਣਾ ਹੈ?
What does it matter whether someone goes naked, or wears a deer skin,
किआ नागे किआ बाधे चाम ॥
ਜਬਨਹੀਚੀਨਸਿਆਤਮਰਾਮ੧॥॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਜਦ ਤਕ ਤੂੰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਛਾਣਦਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
if he does not remember the Lord within his soul? ||1||Pause||
जब नही चीनसि आतम राम ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
ਮੂਡਮੁੰਡਾਏਜੌਸਿਧਿਪਾਈ॥
ਜੇ ਸਿਰ ਮੁਨਾਇਆਂ ਸਿੱਧੀ ਮਿਲ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ,
If the spiritual perfection of the Siddhas could be obtained by shaving the head,
मूड मुंडाए जौ सिधि पाई ॥
ਮੁਕਤੀਭੇਡਨਗਈਆਕਾਈ੨॥॥
(ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਕੀਹ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੈ ਕਿ) ਕੋਈ ਭੀ ਭੇਡ (ਹੁਣ ਤਕ ਮੁਕਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਈ?) ॥੨॥
then why haven't sheep found liberation? ||2||
मुकती भेड न गईआ काई ॥२॥
ਬਿੰਦੁਰਾਖਿਜੌਤਰੀਐਭਾਈ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜੇ ਬਾਲ-ਜਤੀ ਰਿਹਾਂ (ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ) ਤਰ ਸਕੀਦਾ ਹੈ,
If someone could save himself by celibacy, O Siblings of Destiny,
बिंदु राखि जौ तरीऐ भाई ॥
ਖੁਸਰੈਕਿਉਨਪਰਮਗਤਿਪਾਈ੩॥॥
ਤਾਂ ਖੁਸਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਉਂ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦੀ? ॥੩॥
why then haven't eunuchs obtained the state of supreme dignity? ||3||
खुसरै किउ न परम गति पाई ॥३॥
ਕਹੁਕਬੀਰਸੁਨਹੁਨਰਭਾਈ॥
ਕਬੀਰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ- ਹੇ ਭਰਾਵੋ! ਸੁਣੋ!
Says Kabeer, listen, O men, O Siblings of Destiny:
कहु कबीर सुनहु नर भाई ॥
ਰਾਮਨਾਮਬਿਨੁਕਿਨਿਗਤਿਪਾਈ੪੪॥॥॥
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲੀ ॥੪॥੪॥
without the Lord's Name, who has ever found salvation? ||4||4||
राम नाम बिनु किनि गति पाई ॥४॥४॥
