ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਨੂੰ ਛੂਹ ਕੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਕੋਸ਼ ਅਰਥ ਵੇਖੋ
ਤਿਨਕੀਸੋਭਾਕਿਆਗਣੀਜਿਨੀਹਰਿਹਰਿਲਧਾ॥
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ (ਗੁਰਮੁਖਾਂ) ਨੇ ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਬਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ।
How can I estimate the glory of those, who have found the Lord, Har, Har?
तिन की सोभा किआ गणी जिनी हरि हरि लधा ॥
ਸਾਧਾਸਰਣੀਜੋਪਵੈਸੋਛੁਟੈਬਧਾ॥
ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਬੰਧਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਬੱਝਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਮੁਕਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ (ਭਾਵ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਾਇਕ ਬੰਧਨ ਟੁੱਟ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।)
One who seeks the Sanctuary of the Holy is released from bondage.
साधा सरणी जो पवै सो छुटै बधा ॥
ਗੁਣਗਾਵੈਅਬਿਨਾਸੀਐਜੋਨਿਗਰਭਿਨਦਧਾ॥
ਉਹ ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਜੂਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਪੈ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੜਦਾ।
One who sings the Glorious Praises of the Imperishable Lord does not burn in the womb of reincarnation.
गुण गावै अबिनासीऐ जोनि गरभि न दधा ॥
ਗੁਰੁਭੇਟਿਆਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁਹਰਿਪੜਿਬੁਝਿਸਮਧਾ॥
ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਉਚਾਰ ਕੇ ਤੇ ਸਮਝ ਕੇ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
One who meets the Guru and the Supreme Lord God, who reads and understands, enters the state of Samaadhi.
गुरु भेटिआ पारब्रहमु हरि पड़ि बुझि समधा ॥
ਨਾਨਕਪਾਇਆਸੋਧਣੀਹਰਿਅਗਮਅਗਧਾ੧੦॥॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੇ ਅਥਾਹ ਤੇ ਅਪਹੁੰਚ ਮਾਲਕ ਹਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਪਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੧੦॥
Nanak has obtained that Lord Master, who is inaccessible and unfathomable. ||10||
नानक पाइआ सो धणी हरि अगम अगधा ॥१०॥
