ਰਸਾਵਲ ਛੰਦ ॥
ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਨੂੰ ਛੂਹ ਕੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਕੋਸ਼ ਅਰਥ ਵੇਖੋ
ਸਬੈਸਕਤਿਐਕੈ॥
(ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ) ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਆ ਕੇ
सबै सकति ऐ कै ॥
ਚਲੀਸੀਸਨਿਐਕੈ॥
ਸੀਸ ਝੁਕਾਏ ਅਤੇ (ਯੁੱਧ ਲਈ) ਚਾਲੇ ਪਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ।
All the powers came and went back paying their obeisance.
चली सीस निऐ कै ॥
ਮਹਾਅਸਤ੍ਰਧਾਰੇ॥
(ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ) ਮਹਾਨ ਅਸਤ੍ਰ ਧਾਰ ਕੇ
महा असत्र धारे ॥
ਮਹਾਬੀਰਮਾਰੇ੨੬੧੪੮॥॥॥
ਵੱਡੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਸੂਰਮਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ॥੨੬॥੧੪੮॥
They wore terrible arms and killed many great warriors.26.148.
महा बीर मारे ॥२६॥१४८॥
ਮੁਖੰਰਕਤਨੈਣੰ॥
(ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ) ਮੂੰਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਲਹੂ ਉਤਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ
मुखं रकत नैणं ॥
ਬਕੈਬੰਕਬੈਣੰ॥
ਅਤੇ ਕਠੋਰ ਬਚਨ ਬੋਲ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਸਨ।
Their faces and eyes are reddened with blood and they are uttering challenging words from their mouths.
बकै बंक बैणं ॥
ਧਰੇਅਸਤ੍ਰਪਾਣੰ॥
(ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ) ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਅਸਤ੍ਰ
धरे असत्र पाणं ॥
ਕਟਾਰੀਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਣੰ੨੭੧੪੯॥॥॥
ਅਤੇ ਕਟਾਰਾਂ ਤੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨਾਂ ਫੜੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਸਨ ॥੨੭॥੧੪੯॥
They are holding arms, daggers and swords in their hands.27.149.
कटारी क्रिपाणं ॥२७॥१४९॥
ਉਤੈਦੈਤਗਾਜੇ॥
ਉਧਰੋਂ ਦੈਂਤ ਗਜਦੇ ਸਨ,
उतै दैत गाजे ॥
ਤੁਰੀਨਾਦਬਾਜੇ॥
ਤੁਰੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਧੌਂਸੇ ਵਜਦੇ ਸਨ,
From the other side, the demons are thundering, and the trumpets are resounding.
तुरी नाद बाजे ॥
ਧਾਰੇਚਾਰਚਰਮੰ॥
ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਢਾਲਾਂ ਧਾਰਨ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਸਨ
धारे चार चरमं ॥
ਸ੍ਰਜੇਕ੍ਰੂਰਬਰਮੰ੨੮੧੫੦॥॥॥
ਅਤੇ ਕਠੋਰ ਕਵਚ ਪਹਿਨੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ ॥੨੮॥੧੫੦॥
They are wearing cruel armour, holding winsome shields in their hands.28.150.
स्रजे क्रूर बरमं ॥२८॥१५०॥
ਚਹੂੰਓਰਗਰਜੇ॥
ਚੌਹਾਂ ਪਾਸਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ (ਦੈਂਤ) ਗਜ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ,
चहूं ओर गरजे ॥
ਸਬੈਦੇਵਲਰਜੇ॥
(ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਰਜ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ) ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਕੰਬ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ।
They began to roar from all the four sides and hearing their voices, all the gods trembled.
सबै देव लरजे ॥
ਛੁਟੇਤਿਛਤੀਰੰ॥
ਤੀਖਣ ਤੀਰ ਛੁਟ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ
छुटे तिछ तीरं ॥
ਕਟੇਚਉਰਚੀਰੰ੨੯੧੫੧॥॥॥
(ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਗਣ ਨਾਲ) ਚੌਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਸਤ੍ਰ ਕਟੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ॥੨੯॥੧੫੧॥
The sharp arrows were shot and the garments and fly-whisks were torn.29.151.
कटे चउर चीरं ॥२९॥१५१॥
ਰੁਸੰਰੁਦ੍ਰਰਤੇ॥
(ਸਾਰੇ) ਰੌਦਰ ਰਸ ਵਿਚ ਮਸਤ ਸਨ
रुसं रुद्र रते ॥
ਮਹਾਤੇਜਤਤੇ॥
ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਅਧਿਕ ਤੇਜ ਨਾਲ ਭੜਕੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ।
Inebriated with extreme ferocity, the warriors are seen with brightened faces.
महा तेज तते ॥
ਕਰੀਬਾਣਬਰਖੰ॥
ਬਾਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਰਖਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ।
करी बाण बरखं ॥
ਭਰੀਦੇਬਿਹਰਖੰ੩੦੧੫੨॥॥॥
ਦੇਵੀ ਆਨੰਦ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਸੀ ॥੩੦॥੧੫੨॥
The goddess Durga, being very much pleased, hath begun showering the rain of arrows.30.152.
भरी देबि हरखं ॥३०॥१५२॥
ਇਤੇਦੇਬਿਮਾਰੈ॥
ਇਧਰੋਂ ਦੇਵੀ ਮਾਰ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ,
इते देबि मारै ॥
ਉਤੈਸਿੰਘੁਫਾਰੈ॥
ਉਧਰੋਂ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਪਾੜ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
On this side, the goddess is busy in killing and on the other side the lion is tearing up all.
उतै सिंघु फारै ॥
ਗਣੰਗੂੜਗਰਜੈ॥
(ਸ਼ਿਵ) ਗਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਗਰਜਨਾ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ
गणं गूड़ गरजै ॥
ਸਬੈਦੈਤਲਰਜੇ੩੧੧੫੩॥॥॥
(ਜਿਸ ਕਰਕੇ) ਸਾਰੇ ਦੈਂਤ ਕੰਬ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ॥੩੧॥੧੫੩॥
Hearing the roars of the Ganas (attendants) of Shiva, the demons have become frightened.31.153.
सबै दैत लरजे ॥३१॥१५३॥
ਭਈਬਾਣਬਰਖਾ॥
ਬਾਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਰਖਾ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ,
भई बाण बरखा ॥
ਗਏਜੀਤਿਕਰਖਾ॥
ਜਿਤ ਦੇ ਛੰਦ ਗਾਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ,
There was rain of arrows and with this the goddess became victorious.
गए जीति करखा ॥
ਸਬੈਦੁਸਟਮਾਰੇ॥
ਸਾਰੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ
सबै दुसट मारे ॥
ਮਈਯਾਸੰਤਉਬਾਰੇ੩੨੧੫੪॥॥॥
ਅਤੇ ਮਾਤਾ ਦੁਰਗਾ ਨੇ ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਉੱਧਾਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ॥੩੨॥੧੫੪॥
All the tyrants were killed by the goddess and the Mother saved the saints.32.154.
मईया संत उबारे ॥३२॥१५४॥
ਨਿਸੁੰਭੰਸੰਘਾਰਿਯੋ॥
ਨਿਸੁੰਭ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਘਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ,
निसुंभं संघारियो ॥
ਦਲੰਦੈਤਮਾਰਿਯੋ॥
ਦੈਂਤਾਂ ਦੇ (ਸਾਰੇ) ਦਲ ਮਾਰੇ ਜਾ ਚੁਕੇ ਸਨ,
The goddess killed Nisumbh and destroyed the army of demons.
दलं दैत मारियो ॥
ਸਬੈਦੁਸਟਭਾਜੇ॥
ਸਾਰੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਭਜ ਗਏ ਸਨ
सबै दुसट भाजे ॥
ਇਤੈਸਿੰਘਗਾਜੇ੩੩੧੫੫॥॥॥
ਅਤੇ ਇਧਰ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਗਜ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ॥੩੩॥੧੫੫॥
On this side the lion roared and form the other side all the demons fled.33.155.
इतै सिंघ गाजे ॥३३॥१५५॥
ਭਈਪੁਹਪਬਰਖਾ॥
ਫੁਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਰਖਾ ਹੋਣ ਲਗ ਗਈ,
भई पुहप बरखा ॥
ਗਾਏਜੀਤਕਰਖਾ॥
ਜਿਤ ਦੇ ਛੰਦ ਗਾਏ ਜਾਣ ਲਗੇ।
On the victory of the army of gods, there was rain of flowers.
गाए जीत करखा ॥
ਜਯੰਸੰਤਜੰਪੇ॥
ਸੰਤ ਲੋਕ (ਦੁਰਗਾ ਦੀ) ਜੈ-ਜੈ-ਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ
जयं संत जंपे ॥
ਤ੍ਰਸੇਦੈਤਕੰਪੇ੩੪੧੫੬॥॥॥
ਅਤੇ ਦੈਂਤ ਡਰ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਬ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ॥੩੪॥੧੫੬॥
The saints hailed it nd the demos trembled with fear.34.156.
त्रसे दैत कंपे ॥३४॥१५६॥
ਇਤਿਸ੍ਰੀਬਚਿਤ੍ਰਨਾਟਕੇਚੰਡੀਚਰਿਤ੍ਰੇਨਿਸੁੰਭਬਧਹਪੰਚਮੋਧਿਆਇਸੰਪੂਰਨਮਸਤੁਸੁਭਮਸਤੁ੫॥॥
ਇਥੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਬਚਿਤ੍ਰ ਨਾਟਕ ਦੇ ਚੰਡੀ-ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਗ ਦਾ 'ਨਿਸੁੰਭ-ਬਧ' ਨਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਪੰਜਵਾਂ ਅਧਿਆਇ ਸਮਾਪਤੀ ॥੫॥
