ਰਸਨਾਉਚਰੈਹਰਿਹਰੇਗੁਣਗੋਵਿੰਦਵਖਿਆਨ॥
ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਪਣੀ ਜੀਭ ਨਾਲ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਉਚਾਰਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਬਿਆਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ,
My tongue chants the Name of the Lord, and chants the Glorious Praises of the Lord of the Universe.
रसना उचरै हरि हरे गुण गोविंद वखिआन ॥
ਨਾਨਕਪਕੜੀਟੇਕਏਕਪਰਮੇਸਰੁਰਖੈਨਿਦਾਨ॥੧॥
ਸਦਾ ਇਕ ਪਰਮੇਸਰ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਲਈ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਆਖ਼ਰ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
Nanak has grasped the sheltering support of the One Transcendent Lord, who shall save him in the end. ||1||
