ਕਾਨੜਾਮਹਲਾ੫॥
Kaanraa, Fifth Mahalaa:
कानड़ा महला ५ ॥
ਆਰਾਧਉਤੁਝਹਿਸੁਆਮੀਅਪਨੇ॥
ਹੇ (ਮੇਰੇ) ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਲਕ! ਮੈਂ (ਸਦਾ) ਤੈਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
I worship and adore You, my Lord and Master.
आराधउ तुझहि सुआमी अपने ॥
ਊਠਤਬੈਠਤਸੋਵਤਜਾਗਤਸਾਸਿਸਾਸਿਸਾਸਿਹਰਿਜਪਨੇ॥੧॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਹੇ ਹਰੀ! ਉਠਦਿਆਂ, ਬੈਠਦਿਆਂ, ਸੁੱਤਿਆਂ, ਜਾਗਦਿਆਂ, ਹਰੇਕ ਸਾਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੀ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਦਾ ਹਾਂ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Standing up and sitting down, while sleeping and awake, with each and every breath, I meditate on the Lord. ||1||Pause||
ऊठत बैठत सोवत जागत सासि सासि सासि हरि जपने ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
ਤਾਕੈਹਿਰਦੈਬਸਿਓਨਾਮੁ॥
ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ (ਉਸ ਮਾਲਕ ਦਾ) ਨਾਮ ਟਿਕ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
The Naam, the Name of the Lord, abides within the hearts of those,
ता कै हिरदै बसिओ नामु ॥
ਜਾਕਉਸੁਆਮੀਕੀਨੋਦਾਨੁ॥੧॥
ਮਾਲਕ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ (ਨਾਮ ਦੀ) ਦਾਤ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
whose Lord and Master blesses them with this gift. ||1||
जा कउ सुआमी कीनो दानु ॥१॥
ਤਾਕੈਹਿਰਦੈਆਈਸਾਂਤਿ॥
ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ (ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਅੱਗ ਵਲੋਂ) ਠੰਢ ਪੈ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ,
Peace and tranquility come into the hearts of those
ता कै हिरदै आई सांति ॥
ਠਾਕੁਰਭੇਟੇਗੁਰਬਚਨਾਂਤਿ॥੨॥
ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੁਰ ਕੇ ਮਾਲਕ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
who meet their Lord and Master, through the Word of the Guru. ||2||
ठाकुर भेटे गुर बचनांति ॥२॥
ਸਰਬਕਲਾਸੋਈਪਰਬੀਨ॥
ਉਹੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਆਤਮਕ ਤਾਕਤਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਸਿਆਣਾ ਹੈ,
Those whom the Guru blesses with the Mantra of the Naam
सरब कला सोई परबीन ॥
ਨਾਮਮੰਤ੍ਰੁਜਾਕਉਗੁਰਿਦੀਨ॥੩॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ-ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ॥੩॥
are wise, and blessed with all powers. ||3||
नाम मंत्रु जा कउ गुरि दीन ॥३॥
ਕਹੁਨਾਨਕਤਾਕੈਬਲਿਜਾਉ॥
ਨਾਨਕ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ- ਮੈਂ ਉਸ (ਮਨੁੱਖ) ਤੋਂ ਸਦਕੇ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ,
Says Nanak, I am a sacrifice to those
कहु नानक ता कै बलि जाउ ॥
ਕਲਿਜੁਗਮਹਿਪਾਇਆਜਿਨਿਨਾਉ॥੪॥੨॥
ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਬਖੇੜਿਆਂ-ਭਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ-ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਲੱਭ ਲਿਆ ॥੪॥੨॥
who are blessed with the Name in this Dark Age of Kali Yuga. ||4||2||
कलिजुग महि पाइआ जिनि नाउ ॥४॥२॥
