ਬਾਨੀਤਹਾਅਕਾਸਕੀਹ੍ਵੈਹੈਤੁਮੈਬਨਾਇ॥
ਉਥੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਿਤ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਬਾਣੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
“Then, there will descend the celestial renderings,
ਤਬਤੁਮਸਤਿਪਛਾਨਿਯੋਜੋਗੀਪਹੁਚ੍ਯੋਆਇ॥੫੬॥
ਤਦ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਚ ਸਮਝਣਾ ਕਿ ਜੋਗੀ ਆ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੫੬॥
“Through which you will acknowledge the God-seeking Yogi.”(56)

ਰਾਨੀਬਨਮੈਸਦਨਸਵਾਰਿਯੋ॥
ਰਾਣੀ ਨੇ ਬਨ ਵਿਚ ਇਕ ਭਵਨ ਬਣਵਾਇਆ।
ਛਾਤਬੀਚਰੌਜਨਇਕਧਾਰਿਯੋ॥
ਉਸ ਦੀ ਛਤ ਵਿਚ ਇਕ ਝਰੋਖਾ ਰਖਿਆ।
Rani built a mansion in the jungle and constructed an alcove in there,
ਜਾਕੇਬਿਖੇਮਨੁਖਛਪਿਰਹੈ॥
ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਛੁਪ ਸਕੇ
ਜੋਚਾਹੈਚਿਤਮੈਸੋਕਹੈ॥੫੭॥
ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਚਿਤ ਵਿਚ ਚਾਹੇ, ਕਹਿ ਸਕੇ ॥੫੭॥
Behind which a man could hide and where he could do whatever he liked.(57)
ਬੈਠੇਤਰੇਨਜਰਿਨਹਿਆਵੈ॥
(ਉਹ) ਬੈਠਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਨਾ ਆ ਸਕੇ
ਬਾਨੀਨਭਹੀਕੀਲਖਿਜਾਵੈ॥
ਅਤੇ (ਉਸ ਦੇ) ਬੋਲ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਬਾਣੀ ਵਾਂਗ ਲਗਣ।
The person sitting beneath could not see him and his voice would seem as an articulation from heaven.
ਰਾਨੀਤਹਾਪੁਰਖਬੈਠਾਯੋ॥
ਰਾਣੀ ਨੇ ਉਥੇ ਇਕ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਠਾਇਆ।
ਅਮਿਤਦਰਬੁਦੈਤਾਹਿਸਿਖਾਯੋ॥੫੮॥
ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬੇਹਿਸਾਬ ਧਨ ਦੇ ਕੇ (ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ) ਸਿਖਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ॥੫੮॥
Rani asked a man to sit in there, and, with the incentive of lot of wealth, she trained him.(58)

ਏਕਪੁਰਖਚਾਕਰਹੁਤੋਨਾਮਸਿੰਘਆਨੂਪ॥
(ਉਸ ਰਾਣੀ ਦਾ) ਅਨੂਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਇਕ ਨੌਕਰ ਸੀ।
She had a servant named Anoop Singh,
ਵਹਿਜੁਗਿਯਾਕੀਬੈਸਥੋਤਾਕੀਸਕਲਸਰੂਪ॥੫੯॥
ਉਸ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਕਲ ਸੂਰਤ ਉਸ ਜੋਗੀ ਵਰਗੀ ਸੀ ॥੫੯॥
In his profile he looked as if he was in the guise of Yogi.(59)

ਤਾਸੌਕਹਿਯੋਨ੍ਰਿਪਹਿਸਮੁਝੈਯਹੁ॥
ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ (ਕਿ ਕਿਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ) ਤੂੰ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਾਕੇ
ਤੁਮਜੋਗੀਆਪਹਿਠਹਿਰੈਯਹੁ॥
ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਜੋਗੀ ਦਸਕੇ।
She told him, ‘Acting like a yogi, you make Raja to understand,
ਕ੍ਯੋਹੂੰਨ੍ਰਿਪਹਿਮੋਰਿਘਰਲ੍ਯਾਵਹੁ॥
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਘਰ ਵਲ ਮੋੜ ਲਿਆਉਣਾ ਹੈ।
ਜੋਕਛੁਮੁਖਮਾਗਹੁਸੋਪਾਵਹੁ॥੬੦॥
ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਮੁਖੋਂ ਮੰਗੋਗੇ, ਉਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰੋਗੇ ॥੬੦॥
‘And bring him round to come home and you will get whatever you desire.’(60)

ਜਬਤਾਸੋਐਸੋਬਚਨਰਾਨੀਕਹਿਯੋਬੁਲਾਇ॥
ਜਦ ਰਾਣੀ ਨੇ ਬੁਲਾ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲ ਕਹੀ,
When Rani had called him and asked him to talk like that,
ਚਤੁਰਪੁਰਖੁਆਗੇਹੁਤੋਸਕਲਭੇਦਗਯੋਪਾਇ॥੬੧॥
ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਬੰਦਾ ਅਗੇ ਹੀ ਸਿਆਣਾ ਸੀ, ਸਾਰਾ ਭੇਦ ਸਮਝ ਗਿਆ ॥੬੧॥
He, being a clever man, comprehended all the secret.(61)

ਤਬਰਾਨੀਰਾਜਾਪਹਿਆਈ॥
ਤਦ ਰਾਣੀ ਰਾਜੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਈ
ਲੀਨੇਦ੍ਵੈਕੰਥਾਕਰਵਾਈ॥
ਅਤੇ ਦੋ ਕੰਥਾਂ ਬਣਵਾ ਲਿਆਈ।
Then the Rani came to the Raja and got two coffins prepared.
ਇਕਤੁਮਧਰੋਏਕਹੌਧਰਿਹੋ॥
(ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਆ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ) ਇਕ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰੋ ਅਤੇ ਇਕ ਮੈਂ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰਾਂਗੀ।
ਤੁਮਰੇਸੰਗਤਪਸ੍ਯਾਕਰਿਹੋ॥੬੨॥
(ਮੈਂ ਵੀ) ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਤਪਸਿਆ ਕਰਾਂਗੀ ॥੬੨॥
‘You wear one and other I will. I will go in for meditation with you.’(62)

ਜਬਰਾਨੀਐਸੇਕਹਿਯੋਤਬਰਾਜੈਮੁਸਕਾਇ॥
ਜਦ ਰਾਣੀ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਹਾ ਤਾਂ ਰਾਜਾ ਮੁਸਕਰਾਇਆ (ਅਤੇ ਕਹਿਣ ਲਗਾ ਕਿ)
When Rani said so, Raja smiled and asked,
ਜੋਤਾਸੋਬਾਤੈਕਰੀਸੋਤੁਹਿਕਹੋਸੁਨਾਇ॥੬੩॥
ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਜੋ (ਤੇਰੀਆਂ) ਗੱਲਾਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਸਨ, ਉਹ ਤੂੰ (ਮੈਨੂੰ) ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਸੁਣਾ ॥੬੩॥
‘Whatever he had talked, you let me know.’(63)
ਸਵੈਯਾ॥

ਹੈਬਨਕੋਬਸਿਬੋਦੁਖਕੋਕਹੁਸੁੰਦਰਿਤੂਸੰਗਕਯੋਂਨਿਬਹੈਹੈ॥
(ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਹੋਰ ਕਿਹਾ) ਹੇ ਸੁੰਦਰੀ! ਬਨ ਵਿਚ ਵਸਣਾ ਦੁਖਦਾਈ ਹੈ, ਦਸ ਤੂੰ ਕਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਥ ਦੇ ਸਕੇਂਗੀ।
‘’Aye, Pretty Woman, to live in the jungle is very wearisome, how would you tolerate?
ਸੀਤਤੁਸਾਰਪਰੈਤਨਪੈਸੁਇਤੋਤਬਤੌਹਠਹੂੰਨਗਹੈਹੈ॥
ਠੰਢ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਹਰਾ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਉਤੇ ਪਏਗਾ, ਇਸ ਕਰ ਕੇ (ਉਥੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਦਾ) ਹਠ ਨਾ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰ।
“There you will have to bear on your body all sort of cold and heat, how would you survive that?
ਸਾਲਤਮਾਲਬਡੇਜਹਬ੍ਰਯਾਲਨਿਹਾਲਤਿਨੈਬਹੁਧਾਬਿਲਲੈਹੈ॥
(ਉਥੇ) ਸਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਤਮਾਲ (ਬ੍ਰਿਛਾਂ) ਵਰਗੇ ਸੱਪ ਹਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਵਿਰਲਾਪ ਕਰੇਂਗੀ।
“There exist the reptiles as big as the trees, looking at them, you will cry,
ਤੂਸੁਕਮਾਰਿਕਰੀਕਰਤਾਰਸੁਹਾਰਿਪਰੇਤੁਹਿਕੌਨਉਠੈਹੈ॥੬੪॥
ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਕੋਮਲ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ (ਜੇ ਤੂੰ) ਡਿਗ ਪਈ ਤਾਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਕੌਣ ਉਠਾਏਗਾ ॥੬੪॥
“There prevails extreme drought, if you ever fell down, who will help you to get up.”(64)
ਰਾਨੀਬਾਚ॥
ਰਾਣੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ:

ਸੀਤਸਮੀਰਸਹੌਤਨਪੈਸੁਨੁਨਾਥਤੁਮੈਅਬਛਾਡਿਨਜੈਹੋ॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਥ! (ਮੈਂ) ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਉਤੇ ਠੰਡੀ ਹਵਾ ਸਹਿਨ ਕਰਾਂਗੀ, ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਛਡ ਕੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਵਾਂਗੀ।
‘Listen my master, I will bear the cold winds on my body but will not leave you,
ਸਾਲਤਮਾਲਬਡੇਜਹਬ੍ਰਯਾਲਨਿਹਾਲਤਿਨੈਕਛੁਨਡਰਪੈਹੋ॥
ਸਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਤਮਾਲ (ਬ੍ਰਿਛਾਂ) ਵਰਗੇ ਸੱਪਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਡਰਾਂਗੀ।
‘Seeing the reptiles as tall as trees, I will be dreaded.
ਰਾਜਤਜੋਸਜਸਾਜਤਪੋਧਨਲਾਜਧਰੇਪ੍ਰਭਸੰਗਸਿਧੈਹੋ॥
ਰਾਜ ਦੀ ਸਾਜ ਸਜਾਵਟ ਨੂੰ ਛਡ ਕੇ ਤਪਸਿਆ ਦੇ ਧਨ ਦੀ ਮਰਯਾਦਾ ਨੂੰ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰਾਂਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਵਾਂਗੀ।
‘Abandoning the reigning, and the wealth I will accompany you to gain contemplation.
ਬਾਤਇਹੈਦੁਖਗਾਤਸਹੋਬਨਨਾਯਕਕੇਸੰਗਪਾਤਚਬੈਹੋ॥੬੫॥
(ਮੁਕਦੀ) ਗੱਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ (ਕਿ ਮੈਂ) ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਉਤੇ ਦੁਖ ਸਹਿਨ ਕਰਾਂਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਬਨ ਵਿਚ (ਆਪਣੇ) ਪਤੀ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਪੱਤੇ ਚਬਾ ਕੇ (ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਵਾਹ ਕਰਾਂਗੀ) ॥੬੫॥
‘I won’t hesitate to bear all the miseries, and, even, would live on the leaves.’(65)

(ਤੂੰ ਪਿਛੇ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ) ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਰਾਜ ਦੀ ਰਾਖੀ ਕਰੀਂ ਅਤੇ (ਆਪਣੇ) ਪਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਨਿੱਤ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਦੀ ਰਹੀਂ।
‘You better look after the dominion and remember your master every
ਸੁਤਸੇਵਾਨਿਤਕੀਜਿਯਹੁਬਚਨਧਾਰਿਯਹੁਚਿਤ॥੬੬॥
(ਮੇਰੇ) ਬਚਨ ਚਿਤ ਵਿਚ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਸਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰੀਂ ॥੬੬॥
Day, ‘Complying with my entreaty, you look after your sons.’(66)
ਸਵੈਯਾ॥

ਰਾਜਤਜੋਸਜਿਸਾਜਤਪੋਧਨਕਾਜਨਬਾਸਵਕੀਠਕੁਰਾਈ॥
ਰਾਜ ਸਾਜ ਛਡ ਕੇ ਤਪਸਿਆ ਰੂਪ ਧਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇੰਦਰ ਦਾ ਰਾਜ ਵੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਕੰਮ ਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ।
‘I am relinquishing the governance and by leaving all this I do not even fancy the god Indra’s domain.
ਅਸ੍ਵਪਦਾਤੁਬਨੈਬਨਬਾਰੁਣਚਾਹਤਹੌਨਕਛੂਪ੍ਰਭਤਾਈ॥
ਘੋੜੇ, ਪੈਦਲ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਥੀ ਆਦਿ ਦੀ (ਜੋ ਸ਼ਾਹੀ) ਸਾਜ ਸਜਾਵਟ ਬਣੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, (ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ) ਕੋਈ ਪ੍ਰਭੁਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ।
‘The horses, elephants, and foot soldiers, which are trustworthy, I do not conceive.
