Saying all the names of related to “Mrig” (deer) in the beginning and uttering the word “Ardan” at the end, all the names of Baan continue to be evolved.229.
ਕੁੰਭਕਰਨਪਦਆਦਿਕਹਿਅਰਦਨਬਹੁਰਿਬਖਾਨ॥

ਰਿਪੁਸਮੁਦ੍ਰਪਿਤਪ੍ਰਿਥਮਕਹਿਕਾਨਅਰਿਭਾਖੋਅੰਤਿ॥

Uttering the word “Rip-Samudra” in the beginning and then saying the word “Kaanari” at the end, innumerable names of Baan get evolved.231.
ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮਨਾਮਦਸਗ੍ਰੀਵਕੇਲੈਬੰਧੁਅਰਿਪਦਦੇਹੁ॥
ਪਹਿਲਾਂ 'ਦਸਗ੍ਰੀਵ' (ਰਾਵਣ) ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਲੈ ਕੇ, ਮਗਰੋਂ 'ਬੰਧੁ ਅਰਿ' ਪਦ ਜੋੜੋ।

(ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ) ਬਾਣ ਦੇ ਅਨੇਕ ਨਾਮ ਬਣਦੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਵਿਦਵਾਨ ਚਿਤ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕਰ ਲੈਣ ॥੨੩੨॥
The wise people recognize all the names of Baan in their mind by uttering the names of “Dasgareev Ravana in the beginning and then adding words “Vadh and Ari”.232.
ਖੋਲਖੜਗਖਤ੍ਰਿਅੰਤਕਰਿਕੈਹਰਿਪਦੁਕਹੁਅੰਤਿ॥
ਪਹਿਲਾਂ 'ਖੋਲ' (ਕਵਚ) ਜਾਂ 'ਖੜਗ' ਪਦ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ, ਫਿਰ ਅੰਤ ਉਤੇ 'ਖਤ੍ਰਿਅੰਤ' ਜਾਂ 'ਹਰਿ' ਸ਼ਬਦ ਕਹੋ।

Ending with the words “Khol, Khadag, Kshatriyantkaarak and Kehri”, all the names of Baan get evolved.233.
ਕਵਚਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨਕਟਾਰੀਅਹਿਭਾਖਿਅੰਤਿਅਰਿਭਾਖੁ॥
ਕਵਚ, ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ ਜਾਂ ਕਟਾਰੀ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਅੰਤ ਉਤੇ 'ਅਰਿ' ਸ਼ਬਦ ਬੋਲੋ।

Saying the words “Kavach, Kripaan and Kataari” and adding the world “Ari” at the end, the names of Baan are kept in the mind.234.

Uttering firstly the names of all the weapons and adding the word “Ari” at the end, all the names of Baan are recognized in the mind.235.
ਸੂਲਸੈਹਥੀਸਤ੍ਰੁਹਾਸਿਪ੍ਰਾਦਰਕਹਿਅੰਤਿ॥

Saying the worlds “Shool, Saihathi, Shatruha and Sipraadar” at the end, all the names of Baan get evolved.236.
ਸਮਰਸੰਦੇਸੋਸਤ੍ਰੁਹਾਸਤ੍ਰਾਤਕਜਿਹਨਾਮ॥
ਸਮਰ ਸੰਦੇਸੋ (ਯੁੱਧ ਦਾ ਸਨੇਹਾ ਲੈ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ) ਸਤ੍ਰੁਹਾ (ਵੈਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ) ਸਤ੍ਰਾਂਤਕ (ਵੈਰੀ ਦਾ ਅੰਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ) ਜਿਸ ਦੇ (ਇਹ) ਤਿਨੋਂ ਨਾਮ ਹਨ।
ਸਭੈਬਰਨਰਛਾਕਰਨਸੰਤਨਕੇਸੁਖਧਾਮ॥੨੩੭॥
(ਇਹ) ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਵਰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਖਿਆ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਖ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨੩੭॥
O Baan! whose names are Samar, Sandesh, Shatruha and Shatruha and Shatrantak, you are the protector of all the Varnas (castes) and giver of comfort to the saints.237.
ਬਰਪਦਪ੍ਰਿਥਮਬਖਾਨਿਕੈਅਰਿਪਦਬਹੁਰਿਬਖਾਨ॥
ਪਹਿਲਾਂ 'ਬਰ' (ਛਾਤੀ) ਪਦ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ, ਫਿਰ 'ਅਰਿ' ਸ਼ਬਦ ਕਥਨ ਕਰੋ।
ਨਾਮਸਤ੍ਰੁਹਾਕੇਸਭੈਚਤੁਰਚਿਤਮਹਿਜਾਨ॥੨੩੮॥
(ਇਹ) ਸਾਰੇ ਨਾਮ 'ਸਤ੍ਰੁਹਾ' (ਬਾਣ) ਦੇ ਹਨ। ਚਤੁਰ ਲੋਗ ਮਨ ਵਿਜ ਸਮਝ ਲੈਣ ॥੨੩੮॥
Saying the word “Var” in the beginning and then uttering the word “Ari”, the names of Baan the destroyer of enemies, continue to be evolved.238.
ਦਖਣਆਦਿਉਚਾਰਿਕੈਸਖਣਅੰਤਿਉਚਾਰ॥
ਪਹਿਲਾਂ 'ਦਖਣ' ਕਹਿ ਕੇ, ਅੰਤ ਵਿਚ 'ਸਖਣ' ਸ਼ਬਦ ਉਚਾਰੋ।

'ਦਖਣ' ਨੂੰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਰਾਮ ਨੇ ਬਾਣ ਨਾਲ 'ਭਖਣ' ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। (ਇਸ ਲਈ ਬਾਣ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਦਖਣ ਸਖਣ ਭਖਣ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ) ॥੨੩੯॥
Uttering firstly the word “Dakshin” and then saying the word “Bhakshan” at the end, the meaning of Baan is comprehended, because Ram had given the food of Baan to Ravana, the resident of a Southern country and had killed him 239

ਸ੍ਰੀ ਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਬਾਣ ਨੇ 'ਰਿਸਰਾ' ਨੂੰ 'ਬਿਸਿਰਾ' (ਬਿਨਾ ਸਿਰ ਦੇ) ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ॥੨੪੦॥
Saying “Risra” in the beginning, then the word “Mundari” is uttered and then the Baan of Raghupati (Ram) are comprehended.240.
ਬਲੀਈਸਦਸਸੀਸਕੇਜਾਹਿਕਹਾਵਤਬੰਧੁ॥
ਦਸ ਸਿਰ (ਵਾਲੇ ਰਾਵਣ) ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਬੰਧੁ (ਕੁੰਭਕਰਨ) ਅਤੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ (ਸ਼ਿਵ) ਬਲਵਾਨ ਅਖਵਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ,
ਏਕਬਾਨਰਘੁਨਾਥਕੇਕੀਯੋਕਬੰਧਕਬੰਧ॥੨੪੧॥
ਰਘੁਨਾਥ ਦੇ ਇਕ ਬਾਣ ਨਾਲ ਕਬੰਧ (ਸਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਸਖਣਾ) ਅਤੇ ਨਿਰਾ ਕਬੰਧ (ਧੜ) ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ॥੨੪੧॥
Raghunath (Ram) chopped into bits with his single Baan and also made the relatives of the mighty Dasgreev Ravana as headless Trunks.241.
ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮਭਾਖਿਸੁਗ੍ਰੀਵਪਦਬੰਧੁਰਿਬਹੁਰਿਬਖਾਨ॥

ਅੰਗਦਪਿਤੁਕਹਿਪ੍ਰਿਥਮਪਦਅੰਤਸਬਦਅਰਿਦੇਹੁ॥

ਹਨੂਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਲੈ ਕੇ, (ਫਿਰ) 'ਈਸ ਅਨੁਜ ਅਰਿ' ਕਹੋ।

Saying all the names of “Charam” and adding the word “Ari” at the end, innumerable names of the enemy-destroying Baan continue to be evolved.247.
ਤਨੁਤ੍ਰਾਨਕੇਨਾਮਸਭਉਚਰਿਅੰਤਿਅਰਿਦੇਹੁ॥
(ਪਹਿਲਾਂ) 'ਤਨੁ ਤ੍ਰਾਨ' (ਤਨ ਦੀ ਰਖਿਆ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ, ਕਵਚ) ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਉਚਾਰ ਕੇ, ਅੰਤ ਉਤੇ 'ਅਰਿ' ਸ਼ਬਦ ਜੋੜ ਦਿਓ।
ਸਕਲਨਾਮਸ੍ਰੀਬਾਨਕੇਤਾਸਿਉਕੀਜੈਨੇਹੁ॥੨੪੮॥
(ਇਹ) ਸਾਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਬਾਣ ਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨੪੮॥
Adding the word “Ari” at the end of tan-tran (armour), all the names of Baan are formed, for which we should exhibit affection.248.
ਸਕਲਧਨੁਖਕੇਨਾਮਕਹਿਅਰਦਨਬਹੁਰਿਉਚਾਰ॥

(ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ) 'ਮ੍ਰਿਗਹਾ' (ਪਸ਼ੂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ, ਬਾਣ) ਸ਼ਬਦ ਬਣਦਾ ਹੈ, ਵਿਦਵਾਨ ਲੋਕ ਪਛਾਣ ਲੈਣ ॥੨੫੨॥
