ਚੰਗੇ ਚੰਗੇ ਯੋਧਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਬਾਣਾਂ ('ਪਖਰੀਆ') ਨੂੰ ਪਰਖਿਆ ਹੈ (ਅਰਥਾਤ ਆਪਣੇ ਉਤੇ ਅਜ਼ਮਾਇਆ ਹੈ)।

ਕੱਛ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਚੰਗੇ ਘੋੜੇ, ਅਰਬ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਘੋੜੇ ਉਛਲਦੇ ਫਿਰਦੇ ਹਨ। (ਇੰਜ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ) ਮਾਨੋ ਖੰਭਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਹੋਣ।

ਅੰਧ-ਧੁੰਧ ਛਾ ਗਈ ਹੈ, (ਮਾਨੋ) ਰਾਤ ਪੈ ਗਈ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੩੦੨॥

(ਉਹ) ਚਾਓ ਨਾਲ ਗੁਸੈਲ ਘੋੜੇ ਉਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਤਾਤਾਰ ਦੇਸ ਦਾ ਘੋੜਾ ਨਚ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ॥੩੦੩॥
