ਚਖਨਚਾਰੁਚੰਚਲਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਖੰਜਨਲਖਿਲਾਜਤ॥
(ਜਿਸ ਦੀਆਂ) ਅੱਖਾਂ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਚਲ ਹਨ, (ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ) ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਮਮੋਲਾ (ਖੰਜਨ ਪੰਛੀ) ਵੀ ਸ਼ਰਮਸਾਰ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
Seeing his beautiful eyes and feeling his mercurial influence, the birds named Khanjan (wagtail) feel shy
ਗਾਵਤਰਾਗਬਸੰਤਬੇਣਬੀਨਾਧੁਨਿਬਾਜਤ॥
ਬਸੰਤ ਰਾਗ ਨੂੰ ਗਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਬੇਣ ਤੇ ਬੀਨਾ ਦੀ ਧੁਨ ਵਜਦੀ ਹੈ।
He sings Basant Raga and the lyre continues to be played near him
ਧਧਕਤਧ੍ਰਿਕਟਮ੍ਰਿਦੰਗਝਾਝਝਾਲਰਸੁਭਸੋਹਤ॥
'ਧਧਕਤ' ਅਤੇ 'ਧ੍ਰਿਕਟ' (ਦੇ ਧੁਨ ਨਾਲ) ਮ੍ਰਿਦੰਗ (ਵਜਦਾ ਹੈ)। ਝਾਂਝ ਅਤੇ ਝਾਲਰ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਭ (ਧੁਨ) ਸ਼ੋਭਦੀ ਹੈ।
The sound of the drum and anklets etc. are heard near him
ਖਗਮ੍ਰਿਗਜਛਭੁਜੰਗਅਸੁਰਸੁਰਨਰਮਨਮੋਹਤ॥
(ਜੋ) ਪੰਛੀ, ਹਿਰਨ, ਯਕਸ਼, ਭੁਜੰਗ (ਸੱਪ) ਦੈਂਤ, ਦੇਵਤੇ, ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਦਿ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਮੋਹਿਤ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
He allures the mind of all the birds, deer, Yakshas, serpents, demons, gods and men
ਅਸਲੋਭਨਾਮਜੋਧਾਬਡੋਜਿਦਿਨਜੁਧਕਹਜੁਟਿਹੈ॥
ਇਸ ਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡਾ ਯੋਧਾ 'ਲੋਭ' ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਦਿਨ (ਉਹ) ਯੁੱਧ ਵਿਚ ਜੁਟੇਗਾ,
The day on which this mighty warriors Lobh (greed) will come forward for war,
ਜਸਪਵਨਬੇਗਤੇਮੇਘਗਣਸੁਅਸਤਵਸਬਦਲਫੁਟਿਹੈ॥੧੯੧॥
(ਹੇ ਰਾਜਨ!) ਪੌਣ ਦੇ ਵੇਗ ਨਾਲ ਬਦਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਝੁੰਡ ਜਿਵੇਂ (ਫਟ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ) ਉਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਭ ਸੈਨਾ ਬਿਖਰ ਜਾਏਗੀ ॥੧੯੧॥
Then O king! all your army will be fragmented like the clouds before the wind.191.
ਧੁਜਪ੍ਰਮਾਣਬੀਜੁਰੀਭੁਜਾਭਾਰੀਜਿਹਰਾਜਤ॥
ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਜਿਹੀ ਧੁਜਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰੀ ਭੁਜਾਵਾਂ ਸ਼ੋਭਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
He, who is long like the banner and whose arm is like lighting
ਅਤਿਚੰਚਲਰਥਚਲਤਨਿਰਖਸੁਰਨਰਮੁਨਿਭਾਜਤ॥
(ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਬੜਾ ਚੰਚਲ ਰਥ ਚਲਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਦੇਵਤੇ, ਮਨੁੱਖ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਨੀ ਭਜ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
His chariot is extremely speedy and seeing him, the gods, men and sages run away
ਅਧਿਕਰੂਪਅਮਿਤੋਜਅਮਿਟਜੋਧਾਰਣਦੁਹਕਰ॥
(ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਬਹੁਤ ਅਧਿਕ ਰੂਪ ਹੈ, ਅਮਿਤ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਹੈ, ਅਮਿਟ ਅਤੇ ਕਠੋਰ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਯੋਧਾ ਹੈ।
He is extremely pretty, an unconquerable warrior and performer of difficult tasks in the war
ਅਤਿਪ੍ਰਤਾਪਬਲਵੰਤਲਗਤਸਤ੍ਰਨਕਹਰਿਪੁਹਰ॥
ਅਤਿ ਅਧਿਕ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਵਾਲਾ, ਬਲਵਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਤ੍ਰੁ ਵਿਨਾਸ਼ਕ ਲਗਦਾ ਹੈ।
To his enemies he appears very powerful and their abductor
ਅਸਮੋਹਨਾਮਜੋਧਾਜਸਜਿਦਿਨਜੁਧਕਹਜੁਟਿਹੈ॥
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ 'ਮੋਹ' ਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਯਸ਼ਵਾਨ ਯੋਧਾ ਹੈ। (ਉਹ) ਜਿਸ ਦਿਨ ਯੁੱਧ ਵਿਚ ਜੁਟੇਗਾ,
ਬਿਨਇਕਬਿਚਾਰਅਬਿਚਾਰਨ੍ਰਿਪਅਉਰਸਕਲਦਲਫੁਟਿਹੈ॥੧੯੨॥
ਹੇ ਰਾਜਨ! ਬਿਨਾ ਇਕ 'ਬਿਚਾਰ' ਅਤੇ 'ਅਬਿਚਾਰ' ਦੇ ਹੋਰ ਸਾਰਾ ਦਲ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਹੋ ਜਾਏਗਾ ॥੧੯੨॥
The day on which this warrior named Moh (attachment) will come for fighting, then all the injudicious army will be segmented except the judicious notion.192.
ਪਵਨਬੇਗਰਥਚਲਤਗਵਨਲਖਿਮੋਹਿਤਨਾਗਰ॥
(ਜਿਸ ਦਾ) ਰਥ ਪੌਣ ਦੇ ਵੇਗ ਵਾਂਗ ਚਲਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਝਦਾਰ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਚਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਮੋਹਿਤ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
His chariot moves with the speed of wind and all the citizens are allured on seeing him
ਅਤਿਪ੍ਰਤਾਪਅਮਿਤੋਜਅਜੈਪ੍ਰਤਮਾਨਪ੍ਰਭਾਧਰ॥
(ਉਹ) ਬਹੁਤ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਵਾਲਾ, ਅਮਿਤ ਬਲ ਵਾਲਾ, ਨਾ ਜਿਤੇ ਜਾ ਸਕਣ ਵਾਲਾ, ਮੂਰਤੀ ਵਰਗੀ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਨੂੰ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਹੈ।
He is extremely glorious, unconquerable and beautiful
ਅਤਿਬਲਿਸਟਅਧਿਸਟਸਕਲਸੈਨਾਕਹੁਜਾਨਹੁ॥
(ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਸਾਰੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਦਾ ਆਧਾਰ (ਅਥਵਾ ਰਖਿਅਕ) ਜਾਣ ਲਵੋ।
He is extremely powerful and master of all forces
ਕ੍ਰੋਧਨਾਮਬਢਿਯਾਛਬਡੋਜੋਧਾਜੀਅਮਾਨਹੁ॥
ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਡੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ, ਵੱਡਾ ਯੋਧਾ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਮੰਨ ਲਵੋ।
This warrior is name Karodha (anger) and consider him the most powerful
ਧਰਿਅੰਗਿਕਵਚਧਰਪਨਚਕਰਿਜਿਦਿਨਤੁਰੰਗਮਟਕਹੈ॥
(ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਉਤੇ ਕਵਚ ਧਾਰਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਹੱਥ ਨਾਲ ਚਿਲਾ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। (ਉਹ) ਜਿਸ ਦਿਨ ਘੋੜਾ ਮਟਕਾਏਗਾ,
ਬਿਨੁਏਕਸਾਤਿਸੁਨਸਤਿਨ੍ਰਿਪਸੁਅਉਰਨਕੋਊਹਟਕਿਹੈ॥੧੯੩॥
ਹੇ ਰਾਜਨ! ਸੁਣੋ, ਸਚ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਬਿਨਾ ਇਕ 'ਸਾਂਤਿ' ਦੇ (ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਰੋਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕੇਗਾ ॥੧੯੩॥
The day on which wearing his armour and holding his discus, he will cause his horse to dance on the front, O king! consider it as true that on that day, none else will be able to repulse him except Shanti (Peace).193.
ਗਲਿਤਦੁਰਦਮਦਿਚੜ੍ਯੋਕਢਿਕਰਵਾਰਭਯੰਕਰ॥
ਮਦਮਾਤੇ ਹਾਥੀ ਵਾਂਗ ਮਸਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ (ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ) ਭਿਆਨਕ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਕਢੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।
With his drawn dreadful sword, he moves like and intoxicated elephant
ਸ੍ਯਾਮਬਰਣਆਭਰਣਖਚਿਤਸਬਨੀਲਮਣਿਣਬਰ॥
ਕਾਲੇ ਰੰਗ ਦੇ ਗਹਿਣੇ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਸਾਰੇ ਨੀਲ ਮਣੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਖਚਿਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।
His colour is black and he is ever studded with the blue jewels
ਸ੍ਵਰਨਕਿੰਕਣੀਜਾਲਬਧੇਬਾਨੈਤਗਜੋਤਮ॥
ਸੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਕਿੰਕਣੀ (ਤੜਾਗੀ) ਦੇ ਜਾਲ ਨਾਲ ਉਤਮ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਂਕਾ ('ਬਾਨੈਤ') ਹਾਥੀ ਸਜਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
ਅਤਿਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਜੁਤਿਬੀਰਸਿਧਸਾਵੰਤਨਰੋਤਮ॥
ਇਸ ਦਾ ਵੀਰਤਾ ਯੁਕਤ ਬਹੁਤ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਫਲ, ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਪੁਰਸ਼ (ਉਸ ਦੇ) ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ('ਸਾਵੰਤ') ਹਨ।
He is a superb elephant entrapped and enchained in a net of gold and on all the people, the impact of this warrior is good
ਇਹਛਬਿਹੰਕਾਰਨਾਮਾਸੁਭਟਅਤਿਬਲਿਸਟਤਿਹਮਾਨੀਐ॥
ਇਹ ਹੈ ਛਬੀ 'ਹੰਕਾਰ' ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਯੋਧੇ ਦੀ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਮੰਨਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
He is the mighty Ahamkara and consider him extremely powerful
ਜਿਹਜਗਤਜੀਵਜੀਤੇਸਬੈਆਪਅਜੀਤਤਿਹਜਾਨੀਐ॥੧੯੪॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵ ਜਿਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਆਪ ਅਜਿਤ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੯੪॥
He has conquered the beings of all the world and he himself is unconquerable.194.
ਸੇਤਹਸਤਆਰੂੜਢੁਰਤਚਹੂੰਓਰਿਚਵਰਬਰ॥
ਸਫ਼ੈਦ ਹਾਥੀ ਉਤੇ ਸਵਾਰ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਚੌਹਾਂ ਪਾਸੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਚੌਰ ਝੁਲ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
He is mounted on a white elephant and the fly-whisk is being swung over him from all the four sides
ਸ੍ਵਰਣਕਿੰਕਣੀਬਧੇਨਿਰਖਿਮੋਹਤਨਾਰੀਨਰ॥
ਸੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਕਿੰਕਣੀ (ਤੜਾਗੀ) ਬੰਨ੍ਹੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਨਰ-ਨਾਰੀ ਮੋਹਿਤ (ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ)।
Seeing his golden embellishment, all the men and women are allured
ਸੁਭ੍ਰਸੈਹਥੀਪਾਣਿਪ੍ਰਭਾਕਰਮੈਅਸਧਾਵਤ॥
ਸੁੰਦਰ ਸੈਹਥੀ (ਬਰਛੀ) ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਚਮਕ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
He has a lance in his hand and he is moving like the sun
ਨਿਰਖਿਦਿਪਤਿਦਾਮਨੀਪ੍ਰਭਾਹੀਯਰੇਪਛੁਤਾਵਤ॥
(ਉਸ ਦੀ) ਲਿਸ਼ਕ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਪਛਤਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
The lightning seeing his luster feels sorrowful also for its bedimmed radiance
ਅਸਦ੍ਰੋਹਨਾਮਜੋਧਾਬਡੋਅਤਿਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਤਿਹਜਾਨੀਐ॥
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ 'ਦ੍ਰੋਹ' ਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਯੋਧਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਦਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡਾ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਜਾਣੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
Consider this great warrior Dorha (Malice) as extremely impressive and this warrior,
ਜਲਥਲਬਿਦੇਸਦੇਸਨਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿਆਨਜਵਨਕੀਮਾਨੀਐ॥੧੯੫॥
ਜਲ-ਥਲ ਅਤੇ ਦੇਸਾਂ ਬਿਦੇਸਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਆਨ ਮੰਨਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੧੯੫॥
O king! accepts subordination in water and on plain and in countries far and near.195.
ਤਬਲਬਾਜਘੁੰਘਰਾਰਸੀਸਕਲਗੀਜਿਹਸੋਹਤ॥
ਘੋੜੇ ਉਤੇ ਰਖੇ ਹੋਏ ਧੌਂਸੇ (ਨੂੰ ਵਜਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ) ਸਿਰ ਉਤੇ ਘੁੰਘਰਾਲੇ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਰ ਉਤੇ ਕਲਗੀ ਸ਼ੋਭਦੀ ਹੈ।
With curly hair like the tambourine player, he has two swords
ਦ੍ਵੈਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਣਗਜਗਾਹਨਿਰਖਿਨਾਰੀਨਰਮੋਹਤ॥
ਦੋ-ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨਾਂ (ਧਾਰਨ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਹਨ) ਅਤੇ (ਸਿਰ ਉਤੇ) ਜਿਗਾ (ਨੂੰ ਸਜਾਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ) (ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ) ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਨਰ-ਨਾਰੀ ਮੋਹਿਤ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
The men and women are allured to see him
ਅਮਿਤਰੂਪਅਮਿਤੋਜਬਿਕਟਬਾਨੈਤਅਮਿਟਭਟ॥
(ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਅਮਿਤ ਰੂਪ ਹੈ, ਅਮਿਤ ਤੇਜ ਹੈ, ਕਠੋਰ ਤੀਰ-ਅੰਦਾਜ਼ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਮਿਟਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਯੋਧਾ ਹੈ।
He is a mighty warrior with unlimited glory
ਅਤਿਸੁਬਾਹਅਤਿਸੂਰਅਜੈਅਨਭਿਦਸੁਅਨਕਟ॥
ਅਤਿ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਬਾਂਹਵਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ, ਅਤਿ ਅਧਿਕ ਸ਼ੂਰਵੀਰ, ਨਾ ਜਿਤਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਣ ਵਾਲਾ, ਨਾ ਭੇਦੇ ਜਾ ਸਕਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਕਟੇ ਜਾ ਸਕਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।
He has long arms and is extremely brave, unconquerable and invinicible
ਇਹਭਾਤਿਭਰਮਅਨਭਿਦਭਟਜਿਦਿਨਕ੍ਰੁਧਜੀਯਧਾਰਹੈ॥
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾ ਭੇਦੇ ਜਾ ਸਕਣ ਵਾਲਾ 'ਭਰਮ' (ਨਾਂ ਦਾ) ਸੂਰਮਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਦਿਨ (ਉਹ) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰੇਗਾ,
ਬਿਨਇਕਬਿਚਾਰਅਬਿਚਾਰਨ੍ਰਿਪਸਸੁਅਉਰਨਆਨਿਉਬਾਰਿਹੈ॥੧੯੬॥
ਹੇ ਰਾਜਨ! (ਉਸ ਦਿਨ) ਬਿਨਾ ਇਕ 'ਬਿਚਾਰ' 'ਅਬਿਚਾਰ' ਦੇ, ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਬਚਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕੇਗਾ ॥੧੯੬॥
The day on which this indiscriminate warrior named Bharma (illusion) will get enraged in his mind, then O king! No one will be able to redeem you except Vivek (Reason).196.
ਲਾਲਮਾਲਸੁਭਬਧੈਨਗਨਸਰਪੇਚਿਖਚਿਤਸਿਰ॥
ਸੁੰਦਰ ਲਾਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਾਲਾ ਬੰਨ੍ਹੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਰ ਦੀ ਪਗ ('ਸਰਪੇਚਿ') ਵਿਚ ਨਗ ਜੜ੍ਹੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।
ਅਤਿਬਲਿਸਟਅਨਿਭੇਦਅਜੈਸਾਵੰਤਭਟਾਬਰ॥
ਬਹੁਤ ਬਲਵਾਨ, ਨਾ ਭੇਦੇ ਜਾ ਸਕਣ ਵਾਲਾ, ਨਾ ਜਿਤੇ ਜਾ ਸਕਣ ਵਾਲਾ, ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਯੋਧਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਸਰਪ੍ਰਸਤ ਹੈ।
This warrior with naked head and with necklaces full of rubies, extremely powerful, indiscriminate and unconquerable
ਕਟਿਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਣਸੈਹਥੀਤਜਤਧਾਰਾਬਾਣਨਕਰ॥
ਲਕ ਨਾਲ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਅਤੇ (ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ) ਬਰਛੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਹਥਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਬਾਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਝੜੀ ਲਾਈ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।
He has the sword and lance in his girdle and he is the one who showers the volley of arrows
ਦੇਖਤਹਸਤਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਲਜਤਤੜਿਤਾਧਾਰਾਧਰ॥
ਹਸਦੇ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਲਜਿਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਬਦਲਾਂ ('ਧਾਰਾਧਰ') ਵਿਚ (ਲੁਕ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ)।
Seeing the impact of his laughter, the lightning feels shy
ਅਸਬ੍ਰਹਮਦੋਖਅਨਮੋਖਭਟਅਕਟਅਜੈਤਿਹਜਾਨੀਐ॥
ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੇ 'ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਦੋਖ' ਅਤੇ 'ਅਨਮੋਖ' (ਨਾਂ ਦੇ) ਨਾ ਕਟੇ ਜਾ ਸਕਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਜਿਤੇ ਜਾ ਸਕਣ ਵਾਲੇ (ਯੋਧੇ) ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
