ਭਾਤਿਭਾਤਿਸੌਰਾਜਕਰਤਯੌਭਾਤਿਭਾਤਿਧਨਜੋਰ੍ਯੋ॥
ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਰਾਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਇੰਜ ਭਾਂਤ ਭਾਂਤ ਨਾਲ ਧਨ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ।
ਜਹਾਜਹਾਮਾਨਸਸ੍ਰਉਨਨਸੁਨਤਹਾਤਹਾਤੇਤੋਰ੍ਯੋ॥
ਜਿਥੇ ਜਿਥੇ ਵੀ (ਕੋਈ) ਮਾਨਸ (ਸੰਨਿਆਸੀ) ਕੰਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਣ ਲਿਆ, ਉਥੇ ਉਥੇ ਹੀ ਨਾਸ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
Ruling in various ways, the king gathered wealth by various means and wherever the came on know of it, he looted it
ਇਹਬਿਧਿਜੀਤਦੇਸਪੁਰਦੇਸਨਜੀਤਨਿਸਾਨਬਜਾਯੋ॥
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਦੇਸਾਂ, ਨਗਰਾਂ, ਦੇਸਾਂਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਤ ਕੇ, ਜਿਤ ਦਾ ਨਗਾਰਾ ਵਜਾਇਆ।
ਆਪਨਕਰਣਕਾਰਣਕਰਿਮਾਨ੍ਯੋਕਾਲਪੁਰਖਬਿਸਰਾਯੋ॥੧੧੯॥
(ਫਿਰ) ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਕਰਨ-ਕਾਰਨ ਸਮਰਥ ਮੰਨ ਕੇ, ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਨੂੰ (ਮਨੋ) ਭੁਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ॥੧੧੯॥
In this way, conquering many countries far and near, the king extended his fame and himself forgetting the Lord began to consider himself the creator.119.

ਦਸਸਹੰਸ੍ਰਪ੍ਰਮਾਣਬਰਖਨਕੀਨਰਾਜਸੁਧਾਰਿ॥
ਦਸ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਵਰ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਤਕ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਰਾਜ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਭਾਤਿਭਾਤਿਧਰਾਨਲੈਅਰੁਸਤ੍ਰੁਸਰਬਸੰਘਾਰਿ॥
ਭਾਂਤ ਭਾਂਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਧਰਤੀਆਂ ਜਿਤ ਲਈਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
In this way, getting onwards, killing all the enemies, conquering the earth in various ways, the king ruled for ten thousand years
ਜੀਤਿਜੀਤਿਅਨੂਪਭੂਪਅਨੂਪਰੂਪਅਪਾਰ॥
ਅਨੂਪਮ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਤ ਜਿਤ ਕੇ (ਆਪਣੇ) ਅਧੀਨ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ (ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ) ਉਪਮਾ-ਰਹਿਤ ਅਤੇ ਅਪਾਰ ਰੂਪ ਸੀ।
ਭੂਪਮੇਧਠਟ੍ਰਯੋਨ੍ਰਿਪੋਤਮਏਕਜਗਸੁਧਾਰਿ॥੧੨੦॥
(ਫਿਰ ਉਸ) ਉਤਮ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਇਕ ਭੂਪ-ਮੇਧ ਯੱਗ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਬਣਾਇਆ ॥੧੨੦॥
Conquering many kings, the king thought of performing the Raajmedh Yajna.120.
ਦੇਸਦੇਸਨਕੇਨਰੇਸਨਬਾਧਿਕੈਇਕਬਾਰਿ॥
ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਦੇਸਾਂ ਦੇਸਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਕੇ
ਰੋਹਦੇਸਬਿਖੈਗਯੋਲੈਪੁਤ੍ਰਮਿਤ੍ਰਕੁਮਾਰ॥
ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ, ਮਿਤਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਮਾਰਾਂ ਸਹਿਤ 'ਰੋਹ' ਦੇਸ ਵਿਚ ਲੈ ਗਿਆ।
The king alongwith his sons and friends brought the kings of various countries to his own country in fetters,
ਨਾਰਿਸੰਜੁਤਬੈਠਿਬਿਧਵਤਕੀਨਜਗਅਰੰਭ॥
ਨਾਰੀ ਸਹਿਤ ਬੈਠ ਕੇ ਸਹੀ ਮਰਯਾਦਾ ਨਾਲ ਯੱਗ ਦਾ ਆਰੰਭ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਬੋਲਿਬੋਲਿਕਰੋਰਰਿਤਜਔਰਬਿਪਅਸੰਭ॥੧੨੧॥
ਕਰੋੜਾਂ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਬੁਲਾ ਲਏ ਅਤੇ ਬੇਸ਼ੁਮਾਰ 'ਰਿਤਜ' ਸਦ ਲਏ ॥੧੨੧॥
And began to perform Yajna with his wife he also invited crores of Brahmins.121.
ਰਾਜਮੇਧਕਰ੍ਯੋਲਗੈਆਰੰਭਭੂਪਅਪਾਰ॥
ਰਾਜਾ ਅਪਾਰ ਭੂਪ-ਮੇਧ (ਯੱਗ) ਆਰੰਭ ਕਰਨ ਲਗਾ।
ਭਾਤਿਭਾਤਿਸਮ੍ਰਿਧਜੋਰਿਸੁਮਿਤ੍ਰਪੁਤ੍ਰਕੁਮਾਰ॥
ਭਾਂਤ ਭਾਂਤ ਦੇ ਸਮਰਥਾਵਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਤਰਾਂ, ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਮਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੋੜ ਲਿਆ।
Gathering his various friends, the king began the rajmedh Yajna
ਭਾਤਿਅਨੇਕਨਕੇਜੁਰੇਜਨਆਨਿਕੈਤਿਹਦੇਸ॥
ਅਨੇਕ ਭਾਂਤ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਦੇਸ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਜੁੜੇ।
ਛੀਨਿਛੀਨਿਲਏਨ੍ਰਿਪਾਬਰਦੇਸਦਿਰਬਅਵਿਨੇਸ॥੧੨੨॥
ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਧਨ, ਦੇਸ ਖੋਹ ਲਿਆ ॥੧੨੨॥
People of various kinds gathered there and the king also seized the wealth and property of he superb kings.122.
ਦੇਖਕੇਇਹਭਾਤਿਸਰਬਸੁਭੂਪਸੰਪਤਿਨੈਣ॥
ਸਭ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਸੰਪਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੇਖ ਲਿਆ।
ਗਰਬਸੋਭੁਜਦੰਡਕੈਇਹਭਾਤਿਬੋਲਾਬੈਣ॥
ਉਹ (ਰਾਜਾ) ਭੁਜਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਚਨ ਕਹਿਣ ਲਗਾ।
Looking at his infinite wealth, feeling proud on the strength of his arms, spoke thus :
ਭੂਪਮੇਧਕਰੋਸਬੈਤੁਮਆਜਜਗਅਰੰਭ॥
ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅਜ ਸਾਰੇ ਭੂਪਮੇਧ ਯੱਗ ਆਰੰਭ ਕਰ ਦਿਓ।
ਸਤਜੁਗਮਾਹਿਭਯੋਜਿਹੀਬਿਧਿਕੀਨਰਾਜੈਜੰਭ॥੧੨੩॥
ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੱਤ ਯੁਗ ਵਿਚ ਰਾਜੇ ਜੰਭ ਨੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ॥੧੨੩॥
“O Brahmins! now perform such Bhoopmedh Yajna, which was performed by Jambhasura in Satyuga.”123.
ਮੰਤ੍ਰੀਯਬਾਚ॥
ਮੰਤਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ:
Speech of the minister :
ਲਛਜਉਨ੍ਰਿਪਮਾਰੀਯੈਤਬਹੋਤਹੈਨ੍ਰਿਪਮੇਧ॥
ਜੇ ਕਰ ਇਕ ਲਖ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਜਾਏ ਤਦ 'ਨ੍ਰਿਪ-ਮੇਧ' (ਭੂਪ-ਮੇਧ) ਯੱਗ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਏਕਏਕਅਨੇਕਸੰਪਤਿਦੀਜੀਯੈਭਵਿਖੇਧ॥
(ਫਿਰ) ਇਕ ਇਕ (ਯੱਗ ਕਰਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ) ਨੂੰ ਅਨੇਕ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਪਤੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ) ਸੰਸਾਰਿਕ ਦੁਖਾਂ (ਨੂੰ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਏ)।
“If one lakh are killed, then the Rajmedh Yajna can be performed and to each Brahmin innumerable wealth,
ਲਛਲਛਤੁਰੰਗਏਕਹਿਦੀਜੀਐਅਬਿਚਾਰ॥
ਬਿਨਾ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਇਕ ਇਕ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਖ ਲੱਖ ਘੋੜੇ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣ।
And one lakh horses are to be given immediately
ਜਗਪੂਰਣਹੋਤੁਹੈਸੁਨਰਾਜਰਾਜਵਤਾਰ॥੧੨੪॥
(ਤਦ ਜਾ ਕੇ) ਯੱਗ ਪੂਰਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਹੇ ਰਾਜ-ਅਵਤਾਰ ਰਾਜਨ! ਸੁਣੋ ॥੧੨੪॥
In this way, O king! the Yajna can be completed.124.
ਭਾਤਿਭਾਤਿਸੁਮ੍ਰਿਧਸੰਪਤਿਦੀਜੀਯੈਇਕਬਾਰ॥
ਭਾਂਤ ਭਾਂਤ ਧਨ-ਦੌਲਤ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਪਤੀ ਇਕੋ ਵਾਰ ਹੀ ਦੇਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਲਛਹਸਤਤੁਰੰਗਦ੍ਵੈਲਛਸੁਵਰਨਭਾਰਅਪਾਰ॥
(ਇਕ) ਲੱਖ ਹਾਥੀ, ਦੋ ਲੱਖ ਘੋੜੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੋਨੇ ਦੇ ਅਨੇਕ ਭਾਰ (ਦੇਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ)।
“Many types of gifts of wealth and property and one lakh elephants and two lakh horses and one lakh gold coins are to be given to each of the Brahmin :
ਕੋਟਿਕੋਟਿਦਿਜੇਕਏਕਹਿਦੀਜੀਯੈਅਬਿਲੰਬ॥
ਇਕ ਇਕ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਨਾ ਦੇਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਕਰੋੜ ਕਰੋੜ (ਦੀ ਰਕਮ) ਦੇਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਜਗਪੂਰਣਹੋਇਤਉਸੁਨਰਾਜਰਾਜਅਸੰਭ॥੧੨੫॥
ਤਦ ਹੀ ਯੱਗ ਪੂਰਨ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ; ਹੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ! ਸੁਣੋ ॥੧੨੫॥
“O king! by donating these to crores of Brahmins, this impossible Yajna can be completed.125.
ਪਾਰਸਨਾਥਬਾਚ॥
ਪਾਰਸ ਨਾਥ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ -

ਸੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਇਤਨੀ ਕਮੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਜੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਵਰ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਤਕ (ਵੰਡਦੇ ਰਹੀਏ ਤਾਂ ਵੀ) ਟੋਟਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਵੇਗਾ।
“There is no shortage of gold and inspite of donating it for many years, it will not go out of stock
ਹਸਤਕੀਨਕਮੀਮੁਝੈਹਯਸਾਰਲੀਜੈਪਰਖ॥
ਹਾਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਥੁੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਜਾ ਕੇ ਘੋੜਸ਼ਾਲਾ ਪਰਖ ਲਵੋ।
Took at the house of elephants and the stable of horses, there is no shortage of them
ਅਉਰਜਉਧਨਚਾਹੀਯੈਸੋਲੀਜੀਯੈਅਬਿਚਾਰ॥
ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਜੋ ਧਨ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, ਬਿਨਾ ਵਿਚਾਰੇ ਲੈ ਲਵੋ।
ਚਿਤਮੈਨਕਛੂਕਰੋਸੁਨਮੰਤ੍ਰਮਿਤ੍ਰਅਵਤਾਰ॥੧੨੬॥
ਚਿਤ ਵਿਚ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ, ਹੇ ਮਿਤਰ ਭਾਵ ਵਾਲੇ ਮੰਤਰੀ! ਸੁਣ ਲਵੋ ॥੧੨੬॥
“O minister-friend! do not have any doubt in your mind and whatever wealth is wanted, take it immediately.”126.
ਯਉਜਬੈਨ੍ਰਿਪਉਚਰ੍ਯੋਤਬਮੰਤ੍ਰਿਬਰਸੁਨਿਬੈਨ॥
ਜਦੋਂ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੋਲ ਕਹੇ, ਤਦ ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਬੋਲ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ,
ਹਾਥਜੋਰਿਸਲਾਮਕੈਨ੍ਰਿਪਨੀਚਕੈਜੁਗਨੈਨ॥
ਹੱਥ ਜੋੜ ਕੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਸਲਾਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨੀਵੀਆਂ ਕਰ ਕੇ (ਕਿਹਾ)
When the king said like this, then the minister closed his eyes and bowed before the king with folded hands
ਅਉਰਏਕਸੁਨੋਨ੍ਰਿਪੋਤਮਉਚਰੌਂਇਕਗਾਥ॥
ਹੇ ਉਤਮ ਰਾਜੇ! ਮੈਂ ਇਕ ਹੋਰ ਗੱਲ ('ਗਾਥ') ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, (ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ) ਸੁਣੋ,
ਜੌਨਮਧਿਸੁਨੀਪੁਰਾਨਨਅਉਰਸਿੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਾਥ॥੧੨੭॥
ਜੋ (ਮੈਂ) ਪੁਰਾਣਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਮ੍ਰਿਤੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਸੁਣੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ॥੧੨੭॥
“O king! listen to another thing, which I have heard in the form of a discourse on the basis of Purans and Smritis.”127.

ਅਉਰਜੋਸਭਦੇਸਕੇਨ੍ਰਿਪਜੀਤੀਯੈਸੁਨਿਭੂਪ॥
ਹੇ ਰਾਜਨ! ਸੁਣੋ, ਹੋਰ ਜੋ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਸਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਜਿਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ,
ਪਰਮਰੂਪਪਵਿਤ੍ਰਗਾਤਅਪਵਿਤ੍ਰਹਰਣਸਰੂਪ॥
ਅਤੇ (ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ) ਪਰਮ ਰੂਪ ਅਤੇ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਅਤੇ ਅਪਵਿਤ੍ਰਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਰੂਪ ਹਨ।
“O king! listen, you are supremely immaculate and blemishless You may conquer the kings of all the countries
ਐਸਜਉਸੁਨਿਭੂਪਭੂਪਤਿਸਭਪੂਛੀਆਤਿਹਗਾਥ॥
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ! ਸੁਣੋ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਪੁਛੋ।
ਪੂਛਆਉਸਬੈਨ੍ਰਿਪਾਲਨਹਉਕਹੋਤੁਹਸਾਥ॥੧੨੮॥
(ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੇ ਮੰਤਰੀ!) ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਛ ਆਓ ॥੧੨੮॥
“The secret about which you are taking, O minister! You may yourself ask this from all the kings.”128.
ਯੌਕਹੇਜਬਬੈਨਭੂਪਤਿਮੰਤ੍ਰਿਬਰਸੁਨਿਧਾਇ॥
ਜਦ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੋਲ ਕਹੇ, ਤਾਂ ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਭਜ ਪਿਆ।
ਪੰਚਲਛਬੁਲਾਇਭੂਪਤਿਪੂਛਸਰਬਬੁਲਾਇ॥
ਪੰਜ ਲੱਖ ਰਾਜੇ ਬੁਲਾ ਲਏ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਬੁਲਾਏ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਛਿਆ।
When the king said this, the chief minister then started for the purpose they invited five lakh kings
