ਨ੍ਰਿਪਕੋਰੂਪਬਿਲੋਕਿਸੁਭਟਸਭਚਕ੍ਰਿਤਚਿਤਬਿਸਮਾਏ॥
ਸਾਰੇ ਯੋਧੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਦਾ ਰੂਪ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਚਿਤ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਸਮਾਦ ਪਸਰ ਗਿਆ।
ਐਸੇਕਬਹੀਲਖੇਨਹੀਰਾਜਾਜੈਸੇਆਜਲਖਾਏ॥
(ਕਹਿਣ ਲਗੇ) ਕਿ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਰਾਜਾ (ਪਹਿਲਾਂ) ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਜ ਦਿਸ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
Seeing the glorious personality of the king all were wonder-struck and said, “We have never seen such personality of the king before which we are seeing today
ਚਕ੍ਰਿਤਭਈਗਗਨਿਕੀਬਾਲਾਗਨਉਡਗਨਬਿਰਮਾਏ॥
ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਦੀਆਂ ਇਸਤਰੀਆਂ (ਅਪੱਛਰਾਵਾਂ) ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਗਣ ਅਤੇ ਉਡਗਣ ਵੀ ਅਸਚਰਜ ਵਿਚ ਪੈ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
ਝਿਮਝਿਮਮੇਘਬੂੰਦਜ੍ਯੋਂਦੇਵਨਅਮਰਪੁਹਪਬਰਖਾਏ॥
ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਸਦਾ ਤਾਜ਼ਾ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਫੁਲਾਂ ('ਅਮਰ ਪੁਹਪ') ਦੀ ਮੀਂਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਣੀਆਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਝਿਮ ਝਿਮ ਕਰਦੀ ਬਰਖਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।
The heavenly damsels also marveled and the ganas etc.also wondered, the gods showered flowered like rain-drops
ਜਾਨੁਕਜੁਬਨਖਾਨਹੁਐਨਿਕਸੇਰੂਪਸਿੰਧੁਅਨੁਵਾਏ॥
(ਇੰਜ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ) ਮਾਨੋ (ਪਾਰਸ ਨਾਥ) ਰੂਪ ਦੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਇਸ਼ਨਾਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਜੋਬਨ ਦੀ ਖਾਣ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਨਿਕਲਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ।
The king appeared like a mine of youth, having come out form the ocean of beauty after taking bath
ਜਾਨੁਕਧਾਰਿਨਿਡਰਬਸੁਧਾਪਰਕਾਮਕਲੇਵਰਆਏ॥੯੦॥
(ਜਾਂ ਇੰਜ ਕਹੋ) ਮਾਨੋ ਕਾਮਦੇਵ ਨਿਡਰ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਆਇਆ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੯੦॥
He seemed like an incarnation of the god of love on earth.16.90.

ਜਦ ਰਾਜਾ (ਪਾਰਸ ਨਾਥ) ਨੇ ਪਰਮ ਗਿਆਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ।
ਮਨਬਚਕਰਮਕਠਨਕਰਤਾਕੋਜੌਕਰਿਧ੍ਯਾਨਲਗਾਯੋ॥
ਮਨ, ਬਾਣੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਰਮ ਕਰ ਕੇ (ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨਾ) ਕਠਿਨ ਸੀ, ਜਦ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਲਗਾਇਆ
When the king obtained the Supreme knowledge, he had earlier performed rigorous austerities for the realization of the Lord, with his mind, speech and action
ਕਰਿਬਹੁਨ੍ਯਾਸਕਠਨਜਪੁਸਾਧ੍ਰਯੋਦਰਸਨਿਦੀਯੋਭਵਾਨੀ॥
ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਯੋਗ ਅਭਿਆਸ ਅਤੇ ਜਪ ਸਾਧਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ (ਤਦ) ਭਵਾਨੀ ਨੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ
When he performed various kinds of difficult postures and the repetition of God’s Name, then the goddess Bhavani appeared before him
ਤਤਛਿਨਪਰਮਗ੍ਯਾਨਉਪਦੇਸ੍ਯੋਲੋਕਚਤੁਰਦਸਰਾਨੀ॥
ਅਤੇ ਤੁਰਤ ਚੌਦਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਾਣੀ (ਭਵਾਨੀ) ਨੇ ਪਰਮ ਗਿਆਨ ਦਾ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
She, the mistress of all the fourteen worlds instructed him regarding Supreme Knowledge
ਤਿਹਛਿਨਸਰਬਸਾਸਤ੍ਰਮੁਖਉਚਰੇਤਤਅਤਤਪਛਾਨਾ॥
ਉਸੇ ਵੇਲੇ (ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ) ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਾਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਖ ਤੋਂ ਉਚਾਰਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਤੱਤ ਅਤੇ ਅਤੱਤ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਕੀਤੀ।
The king obtained the recognition of essence and non-essence at the same moment and he recited all the Shastras from his mouth
ਅਵਰਅਤਤਸਬੈਕਰਜਾਨੇਏਕਤਤਠਹਰਾਨਾ॥
ਹੋਰ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੱਤ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਕੋ (ਪਰਮ ਸੱਤਾ) ਨੂੰ ਤੱਤ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਨਿਸਚੈ ਕੀਤਾ।
Considering all the elements as destructible, he accepted only one Essence as indestructible
ਅਨਭਵਜੋਤਿਅਨੂਪਪ੍ਰਕਾਸੀਅਨਹਦਨਾਦਬਜਾਯੋ॥
(ਉਸ) ਸੁਤਹ ਗਿਆਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਅਨੂਪਮ ਜੋਤਿ ਦਾ (ਹਰ ਪਾਸੇ) ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ (ਪਸਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸੇ ਨੇ) ਅਨਹਦ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਵਜਾਇਆ ਹੈ।
Perceiving the unique Light of the Supreme Soul, he blissfully blew he Unstruck Melody

ਬਲਵਾਨ (ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ) ਦੇਸ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਤ ਕੇ 'ਅਭੈ-ਪਦ' ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ॥੯੧॥
He achieved the fearless state on conquering the kings of all the countries far and near.17.91.

ਦੇਸਅਉਰਬਿਦੇਸਭੂਪਤਿਜੀਤਿਲੀਨਬੁਲਾਇ॥
ਦੇਸਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦੇਸਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਤ ਕੇ (ਆਪਣੇ ਪਾਸ) ਬੁਲਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।
In this was, achieving the everlasting state, disciplining the kings of various countries, he invited them
ਭਾਤਿਭਾਤਿਭਰੇਗੁਮਾਨਨਿਸਾਨਸਰਬਬਜਾਇ॥
(ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਰਾਜੇ) ਭਾਂਤ ਭਾਂਤ ਦੇ ਗੁਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਧੌਂਸੇ ਵਜਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਚਉਪਚਉਪਚਲੇਚਮੂੰਪਤਿਚਿਤਚਉਪਬਢਾਇ॥
ਚਿਤ ਵਿਚ ਉਤਸਾਹ ਵਧਾ ਕੇ ਸੈਨਾਪਤੀ ਚਾਉ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਚਲੇ ਹਨ।
They, getting pleased marched proudly towards Parasnath, sounding their trumpets
ਆਨਿਆਨਿਸਬੈਲਗੇਪਗਭੂਪਕੇਜੁਹਰਾਇ॥
ਸਾਰੇ ਆ ਆ ਕੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ (ਉਸ ਦੇ) ਚਰਨੀ ਲਗੇ ਹਨ।
ਆਵਆਵਸੁਭਾਵਸੋਕਹਿਲੀਨਕੰਠਲਗਾਇ॥
(ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ) ਸਹਿਜ ਸੁਭਾਵਿਕ ਆਉ ਆਉ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਗਲ ਨਾਲ ਲਗਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।
They all came and bowed at the feet of the Sovereign, who welcomed them all and hugged them
ਹੀਰਚੀਰਸੁਬਾਜਦੈਗਜਰਾਜਦੈਪਹਿਰਾਇ॥
(ਸਭ ਨੂੰ) ਹੀਰੇ, ਬਸਤ੍ਰ, ਘੋੜੇ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਥੀ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ (ਸਿਰੋਪਾਓ) ਪਹਿਨਾਏ।
ਸਾਧਦੈਸਨਮਾਨਕੈਕਰਲੀਨਚਿਤਚੁਰਾਇ॥੯੨॥
ਸਾਧੂ ਪੁਰਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਾਨ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਚਿਤ ਚੁਰਾ ਲਿਆ ॥੯੨॥
He gave them ornaments, garments, elephants, horses etc. and in this way, honouring all of them, he allured their mind.18.92.

ਭਾਤਿਭਾਤਿਬਿਮੋਹਿਭੂਪਤਿਭੂਪਬੁਧਨਿਧਾਨ॥
ਬੁੱਧੀ ਦੇ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨੇ ਰਾਜਾ (ਪਾਰਸ ਨਾਥ) ਨੇ (ਸਾਰਿਆਂ) ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੋਹ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।
In this way, giving them gifts and honouring them, Parashnath, the store of wisdom, fascinated the mind of all
ਭਾਤਿਭਾਤਿਨਸਾਜਦੈਬਰਬਾਜਅਉਗਜਰਾਜ॥
ਭਾਂਤ ਭਾਂਤ ਦੇ ਸਾਜਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੱਜੇ ਘੋੜੇ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਥੀ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ।
ਆਪਨੇਕੀਨੋਨ੍ਰਿਪੰਸਬਪਾਰਸੈਮਹਾਰਾਜ॥
ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਪਾਰਸ ਨਾਥ ਨੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ (ਸੇਵਕ) ਬਣਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।
Persenting various types of elephants and horses, Parasnth achieved the nearness of all of them
ਲਾਲਜਾਲਪ੍ਰਵਾਲਬਿਦ੍ਰਮਹੀਰਚੀਰਅਨੰਤ॥
ਲਾਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਜਾਲ, ਪ੍ਰਵਾਲ, ਹੀਰੇ, ਮੋਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਬਸਤ੍ਰ, ਸੋਨੇ ਦੇ ਸਿੰਗਾਂ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ
ਲਛਲਛਸ੍ਵਰਣਸਿੰਙੀਦਿਜਏਕਏਕਮਿਲੰਤ॥
ਲਖ-ਲਖ ਗਊਆਂ ਇਕ ਇਕ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ।
To every Brahmin, he gave in charity rubies, pearls, diamonds, gems, garments gold etc.
ਮੋਹਿਭੂਪਿਤਭੂਮਿਕੈਇਕਕੀਨਜਗਬਨਾਇ॥
ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੋਹਿਤ ਕਰ ਕੇ, ਧੌਂਸਾ ਵਜਾ ਕੇ ਇਕ ਯੱਗ ਕੀਤਾ
ਭਾਤਿਭਾਤਿਸਭਾਬਨਾਇਸੁਬੈਠਿਭੂਪਤਿਆਇ॥੯੩॥
ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ਭਾਂਤ ਭਾਂਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਭਾਵਾਂ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਆ ਕੇ ਬੈਠੇ ਹਨ ॥੯੩॥
Then the king arranged a Yajna, in which various kings participated.1993.

ਇਕਦਿਨਬੈਠੇਸਭਾਬਨਾਈ॥
ਇਕ ਦਿਨ (ਰਾਜਾ) ਸਭਾ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਬੈਠਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ।
ਬਡੇਬਡੇਛਤ੍ਰੀਬਸੁਧਾਕੇਲੀਨੇਨਿਕਟਿਬੁਲਾਈ॥
ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਲ ਬੁਲਾ ਲਿਆ।
One day, the king held his court, wherein he had invited the chief kings of the earth
ਅਰੁਜੇਹੁਤੇਦੇਸਦੇਸਨਮਤਿਤੇਭੀਸਰਬਬੁਲਾਏ॥
ਅਤੇ ਦੇਸਾਂ ਦੇਸਾਂ ਦੇ ਜੋ ਮਤਾਂ (ਧਰਮਾਂ) ਵਾਲੇ ਸਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਬੁਲਾ ਲਿਆ।
Other people of various countries were also called
ਸੁਨਿਇਹਭਾਤਿਸਰਬਜਟਧਾਰੀਦੇਸਦੇਸਤੇਆਏ॥
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ (ਗੱਲ) ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਦੇਸਾਂ ਦੇਸਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਟਾਧਾਰੀ ਆ ਗਏ,
All the hermits with matted locks and the Yogic reached there
ਨਾਨਾਭਾਤਿਜਟਨਕਹਧਾਰੇਅਰੁਮੁਖਬਿਭੂਤਲਗਾਏ॥
(ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ) ਕਈ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਜਟਾਂ ਧਾਰਨ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਉਤੇ ਵਿਭੂਤੀ ਲਗਾਈ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ।
All of them had grown matted locks of various kinds and smeared ashes of their faces
ਬਲਕੁਲਅੰਗਿਦੀਰਘਨਖਸੋਭਤਮ੍ਰਿਗਪਤਿਦੇਖਲਜਾਏ॥
ਬ੍ਰਿਛਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਛਿਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੱਤਰ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਉਤੇ ਧਾਰਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਖੁਨ ਇਤਨੇ ਵਧਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ ਕਿ (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਵੀ ਲਜਾਉਂਦਾ ਸੀ।
They had worn the ochrecoloured clothes on their limbs seeing their long nails, even the lions were feeling shy
ਮੁੰਦ੍ਰਤਨੇਤ੍ਰਊਰਧਕਰਓਪਤਪਰਮਕਾਛਨੀਕਾਛੇ॥
ਅੱਖਾਂ ਮੀਟੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਸਨ, ਹੱਥ ਉੱਚੇ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਖੜੋਤੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਲੰਗੋਟ ਧਾਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ।
They were the performers of Supreme austerities by closing their eyes and raising their hands
ਨਿਸਦਿਨਜਪ੍ਯੋਕਰਤਦਤਾਤ੍ਰੈਮਹਾਮੁਨੀਸਰਆਛੇ॥੯੪॥
(ਉਹ) ਮਹਾ ਮੁਨੀਸਰ ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਦੱਤਾਤ੍ਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਤ ਦਿਨ ਜਪਿਆ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ ॥੯੪॥
They remembered the sage Dattatreya day and night.20.94.

ਕੈਤੁਮਹਮਕੋਪਰਚੌਦਿਖਾਓ॥
ਜਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਪਰਿਚਯਾਤਮਕ ਕੌਤਕ (ਕਰਾਮਾਤ) ਵਿਖਾਓ।
ਨਾਤਰਜਿਤੇਤੁਮਹੋਜਟਧਾਰੀਸਬਹੀਜਟਾਮੁੰਡਾਓ॥
ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਿਤਨੇ ਜਟਾਧਾਰੀ ਹੋ, ਸਾਰੇ ਹੀ ਜਟਾਂ ਮੁੰਨਵਾ ਦਿਓ।
Either all of you may give me cognizance of your yoga or shave off your matted locks
ਜੋਗੀਜੋਗੁਜਟਨਕੇਭੀਤਰਜੇਕਰਕਛੂਅਕਹੋਈ॥
ਹੇ ਜੋਗੀਓ! ਜੇ ਜਟਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਕੁਝ ਕੁ ਵੀ ਜੋਗ ਹੋਵੇ
ਤਉਹਰਿਧ੍ਯਾਨਛੋਰਿਦਰਦਰਤੇਭੀਖਨਮਾਗੈਕੋਈ॥
ਤਾਂ ਹਰਿ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਛਡ ਕੇ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਦਰ ਦਰ ਉਤੇ ਭਿਖਿਆ ਨਾ ਮੰਗਦਾ।
O Yogis! if there had been some secret of Yoga in the matted locks, then any Yogi would not have gone for begging at different doors instead of absorbing in meditation on the Lord
ਜੇਕਰਮਹਾਤਤਕਹੁਚੀਨੈਪਰਮਤਤਕਹੁਪਾਵੈ॥
ਜੇ ਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਮਹਾ ਤੱਤ ਨੂੰ ਪਛਾਣ ਲਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਪਰਮ ਤੱਤ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਲਵੇਗਾ।
If anyone recognizes the essence, he achieves unity with the Supreme Essence
