ਕਹੂੰਭਟਭਾਜਿਪੁਕਾਰਤਆਰਤ॥
ਕਿਤੇ ਭਜੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਦੁਖੀ ('ਆਰਤ') ਹੋ ਕੇ ਪੁਕਾਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
Somewhere the warriors, gathering together, are shouting “kill, kill” and somewhere, getting agitated, they ae lamenting
ਕੇਤਕਜੋਧਫਿਰਤਦਲਗਾਹਤ॥
ਕਿਤਨੇ ਹੀ ਯੋਧੇ ਦਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਫਿਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਕੇਤਕਜੂਝਬਰੰਗਨਬ੍ਰਯਾਹਤ॥੪੦੦॥
ਕਿਤਨੇ ਹੀ ਜੂਝ ਮੋਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੱਛਰਾਵਾਂ ਵਿਆਹ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ ॥੪੦੦॥
Many warriors are moving within their army and many after embracing martyrdom are wedding the heavenly damsels.400.
ਕਹੂੰਬਰਬੀਰਫਿਰਤਸਰਮਾਰਤ॥
ਕਿਤੇ ਯੋਧੇ ਤੀਰ ਮਾਰਦੇ ਫਿਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਕਹੂੰਰਣਛੋਡਿਭਜਤਭਟਆਰਤ॥
ਕਿਤੇ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਦੁਖੀ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਰਣਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਭਜੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
Somewhere the warriors, discharging their arrows, are roaming and somewhere the afflicted warriors, leaving the battlefield, are running away
ਕੇਈਡਰੁਡਾਰਿਹਨਤਰਣਿਜੋਧਾ॥
ਕਈ ਯੋਧੇ ਡਰ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗ ਕੇ ਯੁੱਧ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ (ਵੈਰੀ ਨੂੰ) ਸੰਘਾਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਕੇਈਮੁਖਿਮਾਰਰਟਤਕਰਿਕ੍ਰੋਧਾ॥੪੦੧॥
ਕਈ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਤੋਂ 'ਮਾਰੋ-ਮਾਰੋ' ਪੁਕਾਰਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੪੦੧॥
Many are destroying the warriors fearlessly and many in their rage are shouting repeatedly “kill, kill”.401.
ਕੇਈਖਗਖੰਡਿਗਿਰਤਰਣਿਛਤ੍ਰੀ॥
ਕਈ ਛਤ੍ਰੀ ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਟੋਟੇ ਟੋਟੇ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਡਿਗ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਕੇਤਕਭਾਗਿਚਲਤਤ੍ਰਸਿਅਤ੍ਰੀ॥
ਕਈ ਅਸਤ੍ਰਧਾਰੀ ('ਅਤ੍ਰੀ') ਡਰ ਦੇ ਮਾਰੇ ਭਜ ਚਲੇ ਹਨ।
The daggers of many are falling having been shattered into bits and many wielders of arms and weapons are running away in fear
ਕੇਤਕਨਿਭ੍ਰਮਜੁਧਮਚਾਵਤ॥
ਕਈ ਨਿਝਕ ('ਨਿਭ੍ਰਮ') ਹੋ ਕੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਮਚਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਆਹਵਸੀਝਿਦਿਵਾਲਯਪਾਵਤ॥੪੦੨॥
ਯੁੱਧ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਸਿਝ ਕੇ ਸਵਰਗ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੪੦੨॥
Many are roaming and fighting and embracing martyrdom are leaving for heaven.402.
ਕੇਤਕਜੂਝਿਮਰਤਰਣਮੰਡਲਿ॥
ਕਈ ਰਣ-ਮੰਡਲ ਵਿਚ ਜੂਝ ਕੇ ਮਰ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
ਕੇਈਕੁਭੇਦਿਚਲੇਬ੍ਰਹਮੰਡਲ॥
ਕਈ ਇਕ ਬ੍ਰਹਮੰਡਲ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਦ ਕੇ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
Many are dying while fighting in the battlefield and many after going through the universe are getting separated from it
ਕੇਈਕੁਆਨਿਪ੍ਰਹਾਰਤਸਾਗੈ॥
ਕਈ ਇਕ ਆ ਕੇ ਬਰਛਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਵਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਕੇਤਕਭੰਗਗਿਰਤਹੁਇਆਂਗੈ॥੪੦੩॥
ਕਈਆਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਗ ਭੰਗ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਡਿਗ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ॥੪੦੩॥
Many are striking blows with their lances and the limbs of many, being chopped, are falling down.403.

ਭਾਜਿਬਿਨਾਭਟਲਾਜਸਬੈਤਜਿਸਾਜਜਹਾ॥
ਸਾਰੇ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਅਣਖ-ਹੀਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਉਥੇ ਸਾਰਾ ਸਾਜ ਤਿਆਗ ਕੇ ਭਜ ਚਲੇ ਹਨ।
ਨਾਚਤਭੂਤਪਿਸਾਚਨਿਸਾਚਰਰਾਜਤਹਾ॥
ਉਥੇ ਭੂਤਾਂ, ਪਿਸਾਚਾਂ, ਦੈਂਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਨਚ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
Many warriors abandoning their shame, and leaving behind everything, are running away, and the ghosts, fiends and imps dancing in the battlefield, are ruling over it
ਦੇਖਤਦੇਵਅਦੇਵਮਹਾਰਣਕੋਬਰਨੈ॥
ਦੇਵਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਦੈਂਤ ਮਹਾਨ ਯੁੱਧ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਦੇ ਹਨ, (ਇਸ ਦਾ ਭਲਾ) ਵਣਨ ਕੌਣ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ?
ਜੂਝਭਯੋਜਿਹਭਾਤਿਸੁਪਾਰਥਸੋਕਰਨੈ॥੪੦੪॥
ਉਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ (ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ) ਯੁੱਧ ਹੋਇਆ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਅਰਜਨ ('ਪਾਰਥ') ਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਰਾਜੇ ਨਾਲ (ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ) ॥੪੦੪॥
The gods and demons all are saying this that this war is dreadful like the war of Arjuna and Karan.404.
ਦਾਵਕਰੈਰਿਸਖਾਇਮਹਾਹਠਠਾਨਹਠੀ॥
ਮਹਾਨ ਹਠੀ ਯੋਧੇ ਹਠ ਧਾਰ ਕੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਦਾਓ ਵਰਤਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਕੋਪਭਰੇਇਹਭਾਤਸੁਪਾਵਕਜਾਨੁਭਠੀ॥
ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ, ਮਾਨੋ ਭੱਠੀ ਦੀ ਅਗਨੀ ਹੋਵੇ।
The persistent warriors, in their fury, are striking blows and they appear like the furnaces of fire
ਕ੍ਰੁਧਭਰੇਰਣਿਛਤ੍ਰਜਅਤ੍ਰਣਝਾਰਤਹੈ॥
ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਛਤ੍ਰੀ ਅਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚਲਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਭਾਜਿਚਲੈਨਹੀਪਾਵਸੁਮਾਰਿਪੁਕਾਰਤਹੈ॥੪੦੫॥
ਭਜਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਪੈਰ (ਟਿਕਾ ਕੇ) 'ਮਾਰੋ ਮਾਰੋ' ਪੁਕਾਰਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੪੦੫॥
The kings in their ire are striking their weapons and arms, and instead of running away, they are shouting “Kill, Kill”.405.
