(ਜੋ ਯੁੱਧ ਵਿਚ) ਰੁਝੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ, (ਉਹ) ਯੁੱਧ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਡਿਗਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦੇਣ ਲਗੇ ॥੩੭੭॥
Many trumpets sounded there and the onlookers of war, also fell down in fear.377.

ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਸੂਰਮਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੁਲਾ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਸਹਿਤ ਅਸਤ੍ਰ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰ ਲੈ ਕੇ
ਕੋਪਓਪਦੈਹਠੀਸੁਧਾਇਕੈਪਰੇਸਬੈ॥
ਹਠੀ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਉਤਸਾਹ ਪੂਰਵਕ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਪੈ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
All the warriors in their fury, took their arms and weapons in their hands, moved forward with persistence and shouting loudly fell upon the opponents
ਕਾਨਕੇਪ੍ਰਮਾਨਬਾਨਤਾਨਿਤਾਨਿਤੋਰਹੀ॥
ਕੰਨ ਤਕ ਖਿਚ ਖਿਚ ਕੇ ਬਾਣ ਚਲਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ
ਸੁਜੂਝਿਜੂਝਕੈਪਰੈਨਨੈਕੁਮੁਖਮੋਰਹੀ॥੩੭੮॥
ਅਤੇ (ਯੋਧੇ) ਲੜ ਲੜ ਕੇ ਡਿਗ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਜ਼ਰਾ ਜਿੰਨਾ ਵੀ ਮੂੰਹ ਮੋੜਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ ॥੩੭੮॥
The pulled their bows upto their ears and discharged their arrows and without moving backward even slightly they fought and fell.378.
ਬਾਨਪਾਨਿਲੈਸਬੈਸਕ੍ਰੁਧਸੂਰਮਾਚਲੇ॥
ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਬਾਣ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਚਲ ਪਏ ਹਨ।
ਬੀਨਿਬੀਨਿਜੇਲਏਪ੍ਰਬੀਨਬੀਰਹਾਭਲੇ॥
ਚੰਗੇ ਤਕੜੇ ਯੋਧਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਣ ਚੁਣ ਕੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਨਾਲ ਲੈ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।
Taking angrily there bows an arrows in there hand they moved and the worriers were killed silectivly
ਸੰਕਛੋਰਕੈਭਿਰੈਨਿਸੰਕਘਾਇਡਾਰਹੀ॥
ਸੰਗ ਸੰਕੋਚ ਛਡ ਕੇ ਲੜਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਸੰਗ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਸੱਟਾਂ ਮਾਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਸੁਅੰਗਭੰਗਹੁਇਗਿਰੈਂਨਜੰਗਤੇਪਧਾਰਹੀ॥੩੭੯॥
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਗ ਅੰਗ ਟੁਟ ਕੇ ਡਿਗ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਯੁੱਧ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਭਜਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ ॥੩੭੯॥
They were all fearlessly inflicting wounds and their limbs are falling down, but still they did not run away from the battlefield.379.

ਆਨਿਸਰਤਾਨਿਅਰੁਮਾਨਕਰਿਛੋਰਹੀਂ॥
ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਖਿਚ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਤਸੱਲੀ ਨਾਲ (ਨਿਸ਼ਾਣਾ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਕੇ) ਬਾਣ ਛਡ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਐਨਸਰਚੈਨਕਰਿਤੈਨਕਰਿਜੋਰਹੀਂ॥
ਠੀਕ (ਨਿਸ਼ਾਣੇ ਤੇ) ਬਾਣ (ਵਜਣ ਨਾਲ ਅਗਲਾ ਸੂਰਮਾ) ਆਰਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਲੇਟ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ;
By pulling their bows, the warriors are proudly discharging their arrows and are uniting arrows with arrows discharging swiftly the later arrows
ਘਾਵਕਰਿਚਾਵਕਰਿਆਨਿਕਰਿਲਾਗਹੀਂ॥
ਉਧਰ (ਤੀਰ ਮਾਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ) ਹੱਥ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਰ (ਤੀਰ) ਜੋੜ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ। (ਬਾਣ ਦੇ) ਆ ਕੇ ਲਗਣ ਨਾਲ ਘਾਉ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ (ਸੂਰਮੇ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ) ਚਾਉ ਚੜ੍ਹਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਛਾਡਿਰਣਿਖਾਇਬ੍ਰਿਣਬੀਰਬਰਭਾਗਹੀਂ॥੩੮੦॥
ਕਈ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮ ਖਾ ਕੇ ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਭਜ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੩੮੦॥
They are striking blows with zeal and the great fighters also having been wounded are running away.380.
ਕ੍ਰੋਧਕਰਿਬੋਧਿਹਰਿਸੋਧਿਅਰਿਧਾਵਹੀਂ॥
(ਕਈ) ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ, ਗਿਆਨ ਨੂੰ ਭੁਲਾ ਕੇ, ਵੈਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਲਭਣ ਲਈ ਫਿਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਜੋਧਬਰਕ੍ਰੋਧਧਰਿਬਿਰੋਧਿਸਰਲਾਵਹੀਂ॥
ਬਲਵਾਨ ਯੋਧੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਧਾਰ ਕੇ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਤੀਰ ਮਾਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
The Lord (Kalki) is moving forward, killing the enemies angrily and consciously and is striking his arrows on the opponents
ਅੰਗਭਟਭੰਗਹੁਐਜੰਗਤਿਹਡਿਗਹੀਂ॥
ਜਿਸ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਦਾ ਅੰਗ ਭੰਗ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਯੁੱਧ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਡਿਗ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਸੰਗਿਬਿਨੁਰੰਗਿਰਣਸ੍ਰੋਣਤਨਭਿਗਹੀਂ॥੩੮੧॥
ਬਿਨਾ ਸੰਕੋਚ ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ (ਰੁਝੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ) ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਲਹੂ ਨਾਲ ਲਥ ਪਥ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ ॥੩੮੧॥
The warriors with chopped limbs are falling down in the battlefield and all their blood is oozing out from their bodies.381.
ਧਾਇਭਟਿਆਇਰਿਸਖਾਇਅਸਿਝਾਰਹੀਂ॥
ਯੋਧੇ ਭਜ ਕੇ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਝਾੜਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਸੋਰਕਰਿਜੋਰਿਸਰਤੋਰਅਰਿਡਾਰਹੀਂ॥
ਰੌਲਾ ਪਾ ਕੇ, (ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਵਿਚ) ਬਾਣ ਜੋੜ ਕੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਫੰਡ ਸੁਟਦੇ ਹਨ।
The warriors come in rage, strike the swords and are killing the enemies while shouting
ਪ੍ਰਾਨਤਜਿਪੈਨਭਜਿਭੂਮਿਰਨਸੋਭਹੀਂ॥
ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਤਿਆਗ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਭਜਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਰਣਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਸ਼ੋਭਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਪੇਖਿਛਬਿਦੇਖਿਦੁਤਿਨਾਰਿਸੁਰਲੋਭਹੀਂ॥੩੮੨॥
(ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ) ਛਬੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ (ਮੁਖ ਦੀ) ਚਮਕ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਦੇਵ-ਇਸਤਰੀਆਂ ਲੋਭਾਇਮਾਨ ਹੋ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ ॥੩੮੨॥
They breath their last, but do not abandon the battlefield and seem splendid in this way, the women of gods are getting allured on seeing their beauty.382.
ਭਾਜਨਹਸਾਜਿਅਸਿਗਾਜਿਭਟਆਵਹੀਂ॥
ਸੂਰਮੇ ਤਲਵਾਰਾਂ ਸੌਂਤ ਕੇ ਗਜਦੇ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਭਜਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ।
ਕ੍ਰੋਧਕਰਿਬੋਧਹਰਿਜੋਧਅਸਿਲਾਵਹੀਂ॥
ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਝ ਨੂੰ ਭੁਲਾ ਕੇ, ਸੂਰਮੇ ਤਲਵਾਰਾਂ ਵਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
The warriors are coming being bedecked with their swords and on this side the Lord in his fury is recognizing the real fighters
ਜੂਝਿਰਣਿਝਾਲਿਬ੍ਰਿਣਦੇਵਪੁਰਿਪਾਵਹੀਂ॥
ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮ ਖਾ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਰਣ ਵਿਚ ਜੂਝ ਕੇ ਦੇਵ-ਪੁਰੀ (ਸਵਰਗ) ਵਿਚ (ਨਿਵਾਸ) ਪਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਜੀਤਿਕੈਗੀਤਕੁਲਿਰੀਤਜਿਮਗਾਵਹੀਂ॥੩੮੩॥
(ਫਿਰ) ਕੁਲ-ਰੀਤ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਜਿਤ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੩੮੩॥
After fighting and getting wounded, the warriors leave for abode of gods and there they are welcomed with songs of victory.383.

ਸਾਜਸਾਜਕੈਸਬੈਸਲਾਜਬੀਰਧਾਵਹੀਂ॥
ਸਾਰੇ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਸਾਜ ਸਜਾ ਕੇ ਅਣਖ ਨਾਲ (ਯੁੱਧ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਲ) ਭਜੀ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਜੂਝਿਜੂਝਕੇਮਰੈਪ੍ਰਲੋਕਲੋਕਪਾਵਹੀਂ॥
ਲੜ ਲੜ ਕੇ ਮਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਲੋਕ (ਸਵਰਗ) ਵਿਚ ਨਿਵਾਸ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
All the warriors getting bedecked are falling upon the enemy and after fighting in the war, they reach heaven
ਧਾਇਧਾਇਕੈਹਠੀਅਘਾਇਘਾਇਝੇਲਹੀਂ॥
ਹਠੀਲੇ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਭਜ ਭਜ ਕੇ ਰਜ ਕੇ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮ ਝੇਲਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਪਛੇਲਪਾਵਨਚਲੈਅਰੈਲਬੀਰਠੇਲਹੀਂ॥੩੮੪॥
ਪਿਛੇ ਨੂੰ ਪੈਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਧਰਦੇ, ਸਗੋਂ ਹਠੀ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਅਗੇ ਅਗੇ ਹੀ ਵਧਦੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੩੮੪॥
The persistent warriors run forward and endure the anguish of the wounds, their feet do not fall back and they are driving other warriors ahead.384.
ਕੋਪਓਪਦੈਸਬੈਸਰੋਖਸੂਰਧਾਇਹੈਂ॥
ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾ ਕੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਰੋਹ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੇ ਭਜੇ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਧਾਇਧਾਇਜੂਝਹੈਂਅਰੂਝਿਜੂਝਿਜਾਇਹੈਂ॥
ਭਜ ਭਜ ਕੇ ਲੜਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਵਿਚ ਉਲਝ ਕੇ ਜੂਝਦੇ ਹਨ।
All the warriors are moving forward in anger and are embracing martyrdom in the battlefield
ਸੁਅਸਤ੍ਰਸਸਤ੍ਰਮੇਲਕੈਪ੍ਰਹਾਰਆਨਿਡਾਰਹੀਂ॥
ਉਹ ਅਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਵਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਨਭਾਜਿਗਾਜਹੈਹਠੀਨਿਸੰਕਘਾਇਮਾਰਹੀਂ॥੩੮੫॥
ਹਠੀਲੇ ਯੋਧੇ ਭਜਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ, ਸਗੋਂ ਗਜਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਨਿਸੰਗ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਸੱਟਾਂ ਮਾਰਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੩੮੫॥
Colliding their arms and weapons, they are striking blows and the stable warriors, who do not think of running away, are striking blows, persistently thundering fearlessly.385.
ਮ੍ਰਿਦੰਗਢੋਲਬਾਸੁਰੀਸਨਾਇਝਾਝਬਾਜਹੈਂ॥
ਮ੍ਰਿਦੰਗ, ਢੋਲ, ਬੰਸਰੀ, ਡਫ ਅਤੇ ਝਾਂਝ (ਆਦਿ) ਵਜਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਸੁਪਾਵਰੋਪਕੈਬਲੀਸਕੋਪਆਨਿਗਾਜਹੈਂ॥
ਬਲਬੀਰ ਪੈਰ ਗਡ ਕੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਆ ਕੇ ਗਜਦੇ ਹਨ।
The small and big drums, flutes, anklets etc. are creating sounds and the warriors firmly putting their feet on the earth are thundering angrily
ਸੁਬੂਝਿਬੂਝਕੈਹਠੀਅਰੂਝਿਆਨਿਜੂਝਹੈਂ॥
ਹਠੀਲੇ ਯੋਧੇ ਸੋਚ ਸਮਝ ਕੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਵਿਚ ਰੁਝ ਕੇ ਜੂਝਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਸੁਅੰਧਧੁੰਧਹੁਇਰਹੀਦਿਸਾਵਿਸਾਨਸੂਝਹੈਂ॥੩੮੬॥
(ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਹਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਸੁੰਮਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਉਠੀ ਧੂੜ ਨਾਲ) ਹਨੇਰਾ ਪਸਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਦਿਸਾ-ਵਿਸਾ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਸੁਝਦੀਆਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ ॥੩੮੬॥
The persistent warriors recognizing others are entangled with them and there is such a run in the battlefield that the directions are not being comprehended.386.
ਸਰੋਖਕਾਲਿਕੇਸਰੀਸੰਘਾਰਿਸੈਣਧਾਇਹੈਂ॥
ਦੇਵੀ ਦਾ ਸ਼ੇਰ (ਜਾਂ ਨਿਹਕਲੰਕ ਰੂਪ ਸ਼ੇਰ) ਭਜ ਭਜ ਕੇ (ਵੈਰੀ) ਸੈਨਾ ਦਾ ਸੰਘਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਫਿਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਅਗਸਤਸਿੰਧੁਕੀਜਿਮੰਪਚਾਇਸੈਨਜਾਇਹੈਂ॥
ਅਗਸਤ ਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਸੋਖਣ ਵਾਂਗ (ਵੈਰੀ) ਸੈਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਪਚਾਈ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
The lion of the goddess Kali, in order to kill the army, is running angrily in this way and wants to destroy the army in this way just as the sage August had completely drunk the ocean
ਸੰਘਾਰਿਬਾਹਣੀਸਕੋਅਨੀਸਤੀਰਗਾਜਹੈਂ॥
ਸੈਨਾਪਤੀ ('ਬਾਹਣੀਸ') ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਗਜਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਬਿਸੇਖਜੁਧਮੰਡਹੈਅਸੇਖਸਸਤ੍ਰਬਾਜਹੈਂ॥੩੮੭॥
ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਯੁੱਧ ਮੰਡਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰ ਵਜ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ॥੩੮੭॥
After killing the forces, the warriors are thundering and in the dreadful fight, their weapons are colliding.387.

ਕਲਕੀ ('ਹਰਿ') ਨੇ ਆਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਦਲ ਦੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਰਥ, ਘੋੜੇ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਥੀ ਕੁਟ ਸੁਟੇ ਹਨ।
ਸਾਜਗਿਰੇਨ੍ਰਿਪਰਾਜਕਹੂੰਬਰਬਾਜਫਿਰੈਹਿਹਨਾਵਤਛੂਟੇ॥
ਕਿਤੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਜ-ਸਾਮਾਨ ਡਿਗੇ ਪਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਤੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਘੋੜੇ ਖੁਲੇ ਫਿਰਦੇ ਹਿਣਕ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
