ਪਾਰਥਭੀਮਤੇਆਦਿਕਬੀਰਰਹੇਚੁਪਹੋਇਅਤਿਹੀਡਰਆਵੈ॥
ਅਰਜਨ, ਭੀਮ ਆਦਿਕ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਚੁਪ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ, (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਬਹੁਤ ਡਰ ਲਗ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ।
The heroes like Arjuna and Bhima, sat silently with fear
ਸੁੰਦਰਐਸੇਸਰੂਪਕੇਊਪਰਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਕਬੀਸਰਪੈਬਲਿਜਾਵੈ॥੨੩੪੩॥
(ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ) ਅਜਿਹੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਸਰੂਪ ਉਪਰੋਂ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਵੀ ਵਾਰਨੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੨੩੪੩॥
The poet Shyam says that the poets are a sacrifice to his most charming figure.2343.
ਜੋਤਿਜਿਤੀਅਰਿਭੀਤਰਥੀਸੁਸਬੈਮੁਖਸ੍ਯਾਮਕੇਬੀਚਸਮਾਨੀ॥
ਵੈਰੀ (ਸ਼ਿਸ਼ੁਪਾਲ) ਵਿਚ ਜਿਤਨੀ ਵੀ ਜੋਤਿ (ਅਥਵਾ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ) ਸੀ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੀ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਮੁਖ ਵਿਚ ਸਮਾ ਗਈ।
ਬੋਲਸਕੈਨਰਹੇਚੁਪਹੁਇਕਬਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਕਹੈਜੁਬਡੇਅਭਿਮਾਨੀ॥
ਕਵੀ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਵੱਡੇ ਅਭਿਮਾਨੀ (ਸੂਰਮੇ) ਸਨ, ਉਹ ਬੋਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕੇ, ਚੁਪ ਕਰ ਕੇ (ਬੈਠੇ) ਰਹੇ।
Whatever power was there in Shishupal, the same got merged in the face of Krishna, many proud warriors there sat silently,
ਬਾਕੋਬਲੀਸਿਸੁਪਾਲਹਨਿਯੋਤਿਹਕੀਹੁਤੀਚੰਦ੍ਰਵਤੀਰਜਧਾਨੀ॥
ਬੜੇ ਬਾਂਕੇ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਸ਼ਿਸ਼ੁਪਾਲ ਦਾ ਬਧ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ, ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਚੰਦ੍ਰਵਤੀ ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀ ਸੀ।
Shishupal, the very powerful man of Chanderi had been killed by Krishna
ਯਾਸਮਅਉਰਨਕੋਊਬੀਯੋਜਗਿਸ੍ਰੀਜਦੁਬੀਰਸਹੀਪ੍ਰਭੁਜਾਨੀ॥੨੩੪੪॥
ਇਸ (ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ) ਵਰਗਾ ਇਸ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ। (ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੇ) ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਸਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜਾਣ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੨੩੪੪॥
Everybody agreed that there was no one so mighty as Krishna in the world.2344.
ਏਕਕਹੈਜਦੁਰਾਇਬਡੋਭਟਜਾਹਿਬਲੀਸਿਸੁਪਾਲਸੋਘਾਯੋ॥
ਇਕ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਬਹੁਤ ਤਕੜਾ ਸ਼ੂਰਵੀਰ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਿਸ਼ੁਪਾਲ ਵਰਗੇ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਇੰਦ੍ਰਤੇਸੂਰਜਤੇਜਮਤੇਹੁਤੋਜਾਤਨਸੋਜਮਲੋਕਿਪਠਾਯੋ॥
ਉਸ (ਸ਼ਿਸ਼ੁਪਾਲ) ਨੂੰ ਇੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ, ਸੂਰਜ ਤੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਯਮ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਯਮਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ ਨਾ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਿਆ,
Everyone said that Krishna was the most powerful hero, who had killed the mighty warrior like Shishupal, who was even unconquerable for Indra, Surya and Yama
ਸੋਇਹਏਕਹੀਆਂਖਕੇਫੋਰਕੇਭੀਤਰਮਾਰਿਦਯੋਜੀਅਆਯੋ॥
ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਨੇ ਅੱਖ ਦੇ ਪਲਕਾਰੇ ਵਿਚ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। (ਇਹ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਕਵੀ ਦੇ) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ
ਚਉਦਹਲੋਕਨਕੋਕਰਤਾਕਰਿਸ੍ਰੀਬ੍ਰਿਜਨਾਥਸਹੀਠਹਰਾਯੋ॥੨੩੪੫॥
(ਕਿ) ਚੌਦਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਰਤਾ ਵਜੋਂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਸਹੀ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ) ਪਛਾਣ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੨੩੪੫॥
He had killed that enemy in the winking of an eye and the same Krishna is the creator of all the fourteen worlds.2345.
ਚਉਦਹਲੋਕਨਕੋਕਰਤਾਇਹਸਾਧਨਸੰਤਇਹੈਜੀਅਜਾਨਿਯੋ॥
ਇਹ (ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ) ਚੌਦਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਰਤਾ ਹੈ, ਸਾਧਾਂ ਸੰਤਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਹੀ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਹੈ।
Krishna is the Lord of all the fourteen worlds, all the saints accept this
ਦੇਵਅਦੇਵਕੀਏਸਭਯਾਹੀਕੇਬੇਦਨਤੇਗੁਨਜਾਨਿਬਖਾਨਿਯੋ॥
ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਦੈਂਤ ਇਸੇ ਦੇ ਬਣਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ। ਵੇਦਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਇਸੇ ਦਾ ਗੁਣ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਵਖਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
The gods and others are all created by him and the Vedas also describe His attributes
ਬੀਰਨਬੀਰਬਡੋਈਲਖਿਯੋਹਰਿਭੂਪਨਭੂਪਨਤੇਖੁਨਸਾਨਿਯੋ॥
ਸ਼ੂਰਵੀਰਾਂ ਨੇ (ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ) ਵੱਡਾ ਸੂਰਮਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਜਾਣ ਕੇ ਖੁਣਸ ਖਾਧੀ।
ਅਉਰਜਿਤੇਅਰਿਠਾਢੇਹੁਤੇਤਿਨਸ੍ਯਾਮਸਹੀਕਰਿਕਾਲਪਛਾਨਿਯੋ॥੨੩੪੬॥
ਹੋਰ ਜਿਤਨੇ ਵੀ ਵੈਰੀ ਉਥੇ ਖੜੋਤੇ ਸਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਸਹੀ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ ਕਾਲ ਸਮਝਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੨੩੪੬॥
Krishna who also gets enraged on the kings, was considered the mighty hero amongst the warriors and all the enemies recognised him, in reality, as the manifestation of Death.2346.
ਸ੍ਰੀਬ੍ਰਿਜਨਾਇਕਠਾਢਿਤਹਾਕਰਬੀਚਸੁਦਰਸਨਚਕ੍ਰਲੀਏ॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਸੁਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਚੱਕਰ ਲਏ ਹੋਏ ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਤੇ ਖੜੋਤੇ ਹਨ।
Krishna was standing there, holding his discus in his hand
ਬਹੁਰੋਸਠਨੇਅਤਿਕ੍ਰੋਧਭਰਿਯੋਅਰਿਆਨਕੋਆਨਤਹੈਨਹੀਏ॥
(ਉਹ) ਬਹੁਤ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਰੋਸ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਵੈਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਿਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
He was extremely angry and in that state of enragement, he did not remember any other enemy
ਤਿਹਠਉਰਸਭਾਹੂਮੈਗਾਜਤਭਯੋਸਭਕਾਲਹਿਕੋਮਨੋਭੇਖਕੀਏ॥
ਉਸ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਸਭਾ ਵਿਚ ਗੱਜ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, (ਇੰਜ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ) ਮਾਨੋ ਸਭ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕਾਲ ਦਾ ਰੂਪ ਧਾਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
He, as manifestation of Death, was thundering in the Court
ਜਿਹਦੇਖਤਿਪ੍ਰਾਨਤਜੈਅਰਿਵਾਬਹੁਸੰਤਨਿਹਾਰਕੇਰੂਪਜੀਏ॥੨੩੪੭॥
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਤਿਆਗ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਤ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਰੂਪ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਜੀਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੨੩੪੭॥
He was such a one, seeing whom, the enemies embrace death and the saints, on seeing him, were resuscitated.2347.
ਨ੍ਰਿਪਜੁਧਿਸਟਰਬਾਚਕਾਨ੍ਰਹਜੂਸੋ॥

ਆਪਹੀਭੂਪਕਹੀਉਠਕੈਕਰਜੋਰਿਦੋਊਪ੍ਰਭਕ੍ਰੋਧਨਿਵਾਰੋ॥
ਰਾਜਾ (ਯੁਧਿਸ਼ਠਰ) ਨੇ ਖੁਦ ਉਠ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਹੱਥ ਜੋੜ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਹੁਣ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਵਾਰੋ।
ਥੋਸਿਸੁਪਾਲਬਡੋਖਲਸੋਤੁਮਚਕ੍ਰਹਿਲੈਛਿਨਮਾਹਿਸੰਘਾਰੋ॥
ਸ਼ਿਸ਼ੁਪਾਲ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਚੱਕਰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਛਿਣ ਭਰ ਵਿਚ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
The king Yudhishtra said with folded hands, “O Lord! forsake anger, Shishupal was a great tyrant, you have performed a noble task by killing him
ਯੌਕਹਿਪਾਇਰਹਿਯੋਗਹਿਕੈਦੁਹੂਆਪਨੇਨੈਨਨਤੇਜਲੁਢਾਰੋ॥
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ (ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ) ਦੋਵੇਂ ਪੈਰ ਫੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਹੰਝੂ ਵਗਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
Saying this, the king, caught both the feet of Krishna and the tears rolled down his eyes
ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹਜੂਜੋਤੁਮਰੋਸਕਰੋਤੋਕਹਾਤੁਮਸੋਬਸੁਹੈਬਹਮਾਰੋ॥੨੩੪੮॥
ਹੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਜੀ! ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਰੋਸ ਕਰੋ, ਤਾਂ ਸਾਡਾ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉਤੇ ਕੀ ਵਸ ਚਲ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨੩੪੮॥
He said, “O Krishna! if you get angry, what control can we have over it?”2348.
ਦਾਸਕਹੈਬਿਨਤੀਕਰਜੋਰਕੈਸ੍ਯਾਮਭਨੈਹਰਿਜੂਸੁਨਿਲੀਜੈ॥
(ਕਵੀ) ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਲ, ਦਾਸ (ਰਾਜਾ ਯੁਧਿਸ਼ਠਰ) ਹੱਥ ਜੋੜ ਕੇ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਹੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਜੀ! ਸੁਣ ਲਵੋ!
“O Lord! this servant of yours is requesting you with folded hands, kindly listen to it
ਕੋਪਚਿਤੇਤੁਮਰੇਮਰੀਐਸੁਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਕਰਿਹੇਰਤਹੀਪਲਜੀਜੈ॥
ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਵੇਖਣਾ ਹੀ (ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ) ਮਰਨ ਤੁਲ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਪੂਰਵਕ ਇਕ ਪਲ ਭਰ ਵੇਖਣਾ (ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ) ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾਨ ਹੈ।
If you get angry, we shall feel ourselves like dead, therefore kindly remain gracious
ਆਨੰਦਕੈਚਿਤਿਬੈਠੋਸਭਾਮਹਿਦੇਖਹੁਜਗ੍ਯਕੇਹੇਤੁਪਤੀਜੈ॥
ਹੁਣ ਆਨੰਦ ਸਹਿਤ ਸਭਾ ਵਿਚ ਬੈਠੋ ਅਤੇ ਯੱਗ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਹੀ ਪਤੀਜ ਜਾਓ।
Kindly sit in the court blissfully and supervise the Yajna
ਹਉਪ੍ਰਭੁਜਾਨਕਰੋਬਿਨਤੀਪ੍ਰਭੁਜੂਪੁਨਿਕੋਪਛਿਮਾਪਨਕੀਜੈ॥੨੩੪੯॥
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਮੈਂ (ਆਪ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜਾਣ ਕੇ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਹੁਣ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨੂੰ ਛਿਮਾ ਕਰ ਦਿਓ ॥੨੩੪੯॥
O Lord! I am requesting you to kindly end your anger and to forgive us.”2349.

ਬੈਠਾਯੋਜਦੁਰਾਇਕੋਬਹੁਬਿਨਤੀਕਰਿਭੂਪ॥
ਰਾਜਾ (ਯੁਧਿਸ਼ਠਰ) ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਠਾ ਲਿਆ।
ਕੰਜਨਸੇਦ੍ਰਿਗਜਿਹਬਨੇਬਨਿਯੋਸੁਮੈਨਸਰੂਪ॥੨੩੫੦॥
ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਨੈਣ ਕਮਲ (ਦੇ ਫੁਲ) ਵਾਂਗ ਅਤੇ ਸਰੂਪ ਕਾਮਦੇਵ ਵਰਗਾ ਬਣਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ॥੨੩੫੦॥
The king Yudhistar requesting most humbly caused the king of Yadavas to sit and now his eyes looked splendid like lotus and figure elegant like that of the god of love.2350.
ਇਤਿਸ੍ਰੀਬਚਿਤ੍ਰਨਾਟਕਗ੍ਰੰਥੇਕ੍ਰਿਸਨਾਵਤਾਰੇਕਾਨ੍ਰਹਜੂਕੋਕੋਪਰਾਜਾਜੁਧਿਸਟਰਛਮਾਪਨਕਰਤਭਏਧਿਆਇਸਮਾਪਤੰ॥

ਅਰਜਨ ਨੂੰ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨੀ ਸੌਂਪੀ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
The task of serving the Brahmins was given to Arjuna
ਅਰੁਪੂਜਕਰੈਦੋਊਮਾਦ੍ਰੀਕੇਪੁਤ੍ਰਰਿਖੀਨਕੀਆਨੰਦਚਿਤਿਧਰੈ॥
ਅਤੇ ਮਾਦ੍ਰੀ ਦੇ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ (ਨਕੁਲ ਅਤੇ ਸਹਿਦੇਵ) ਨੂੰ ਰਿਸ਼ੀਆਂ (ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਉਤੇ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਹੈ) ਜੋ ਆਨੰਦ ਸਹਿਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
The sons of Maduri, Nakul and Sahdev, were delightfully serving the sages
ਭਯੋਭੀਮਰਸੋਈਆਦ੍ਰਜੋਧਨਧਾਮਪੈਬ੍ਯਾਸਤੇਆਦਿਕਬੇਦਰਰੈ॥
ਭੀਮ ਰਸੋਈਆ ਬਣਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਦੁਰਯੋਧਨ ਨੂੰ ਘਰ ਦਾ (ਕੰਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ)। ਵੇਦ ਵਿਆਸ ਆਦਿਕ ਵੇਦਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਾਠ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Bhima became the cook and Duryodhana supervised the domestic affairs
ਕੀਯੋਸੂਰਕੋਬਾਲਕਕੈਬੇਕੋਦਾਨਸੁਜਾਹੀਤੇਚਉਦਹਲੋਕਡਰੈ॥੨੩੫੧॥
ਸੂਰਜ ਦੇ ਬਾਲਕ (ਕਰਨ) ਨੂੰ ਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਉਤੇ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਚੌਦਾਂ ਲੋਕ ਹੀ ਡਰਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੨੩੫੧॥
Vyas etc. were busy in the recitation of the Vedas and Karan, the son of Surya, who frightened all the fourteen worlds, was given the task of the bestowal of charities etc.2351.
ਸੂਰਜਚੰਦਗਨੇਸਮਹੇਸਸਦਾਉਠਕੈਜਿਹਧਿਆਨਧਰੈ॥
ਸੂਰਜ, ਚੰਦ੍ਰਮਾ, ਗਣੇਸ਼, ਸ਼ਿਵ ਉਠ ਕੇ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਧਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
He, on whom always meditate Surya, Chandra, Ganesha and Shiva
ਅਰੁਨਾਰਦਸੋਸੁਕਸੋਦਿਜਬ੍ਯਾਸਸੋਸ੍ਯਾਮਭਨੈਜਿਹਜਾਪਰਰੈ॥
(ਕਵੀ) ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਕਿ ਨਾਰਦ ਵਰਗੇ, ਸੁਕਦੇਵ ਜਿਹੇ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਆਸ ਵਰਗੇ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਜਾਪ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ,
He, whose Name is repeated by Narada, Shukra and Vyasa, the mighty one,
ਜਿਹਾਮਾਰਦਯੋਸਿਸੁਪਾਲਬਲੀਜਿਹਕੇਬਲਤੇਸਭਲੋਕੁਡਰੈ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਿਸ਼ੁਪਾਲ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਬਲ ਤੋਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਡਰਦੇ ਹਨ,
ਅਬਬਿਪਨਕੇਪਗਧੋਵਤਹੈਬ੍ਰਿਜਨਾਥਬਿਨਾਐਸੀਕਉਨਕਰੈ॥੨੩੫੨॥
(ਉਹ) ਹੁਣ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੈਰ ਧੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੋਰ ਕੌਣ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨੩੫੨॥
Who killed Shishupal and from whom all the world fear, the same Krishna is now washing the feet of Brahmins and who else can perform such a task except Him.2352.
ਆਹਵਕੈਸੰਗਸਤ੍ਰਨਕੇਤਿਨਤੇਕਬਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਭਨੈਧਨੁਲੀਨੋ॥
ਕਵੀ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਜੋ ਧਨ ਵਸੂਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ,
ਬਿਪ੍ਰਨਕੋਜਿਮਬੇਦਕੇਬੀਚਲਿਖੀਬਿਧਿਹੀਤਿਹੀਭਾਤਹਿਦੀਨੋ॥
ਉਹ ਵੇਦ ਵਿਚ ਲਿਖੀ ਵਿਧੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵੰਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
In the war, fighting with the enemies, the poet Shyam says, these mighty heroes realised the tax and gave gifts in charity according to the Vedic injunctions
ਏਕਨਕੋਸਨਮਾਨਕੀਯੋਅਰਏਕਨਦੈਸਭਸਾਜਨਵੀਨੋ॥
ਇਕਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਦਰ-ਮਾਣ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਕਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਵੇਂ ਸਾਜ਼ ਸਾਮਾਨ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ।
Many people were honoured and many were bestowed new kingdoms
ਭੂਪਜੁਧਿਸਟਰਤਉਨਸਮੈਸੁਸਭੈਬਿਧਿਜਗਿਸੰਪੂਰਨਕੀਨੋ॥੨੩੫੩॥
ਰਾਜਾ ਯੁਧਿਸ਼ਠਰ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਯੱਗ ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ॥੨੩੫੩॥
In this way, at that time, the king Yudhisthtar completed the Yajna by all methods.2353.
ਨ੍ਰਹਾਨਗਯੋਸਰਤਾਦਯੋਦਾਨਸੁਦੈਜਲਪੈਪੁਰਖਾਰਿਝਵਾਏ॥
ਨਦੀ ਉਤੇ ਇਸ਼ਨਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਗਏ ਨੇ ਦਾਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਲਾਂਜਲੀ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
Then they went to the river to take a bath and there they pleased their manes by offering the water
ਜਾਚਕਥੇਤਿਹਠਉਰਜਿਤੇਧਨਦੀਨਘਨੋਤਿਨਕਉਸੁਅਘਾਏ॥
ਉਥੇ ਜਿਤਨੇ ਯਾਚਕ ਸਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਅਧਿਕ ਧਨ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਰਜਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
