ਨਾਰਦਰੁਕਮਿਨਿਕੇਪ੍ਰਿਥਮਗ੍ਰਿਹਮੈਪਹੁਚਿਓਆਇ॥
ਨਾਰਦ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਰੁਕਮਨੀ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ,
Narada reached the house of Rukmani, where Krishna was sitting
ਜਹਾਕਾਨ੍ਰਹਬੈਠੋਹੁਤੋਉਠਿਲਾਗੋਰਿਖਿਪਾਇ॥੨੩੦੨॥
ਜਿਥੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਬੈਠੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ। (ਉਹ) ਉਠ ਕੇ ਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਪੈਰੀਂ ਪਏ ॥੨੩੦੨॥
He touched the feet of the sage.2302.

ਦੂਸਰੇਮੰਦਿਰਭੀਤਰਨਾਰਦਜਾਤਭਯੋਤਿਹਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਨਿਹਾਰਿਯੋ॥
ਦੂਜੇ ਘਰ ਵਿਚ (ਜਦੋਂ) ਨਾਰਦ ਗਿਆ, (ਤਾਂ) ਉਥੇ ਵੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਿਆ।
ਅਉਰਗਯੋਗ੍ਰਿਹਸ੍ਯਾਮਤਬੈਰਿਖਿਆਨੰਦਹ੍ਵੈਇਹਭਾਤਿਉਚਾਰਿਯੋ॥
(ਫਿਰ ਨਾਰਦ ਇਕ) ਹੋਰ ਘਰ ਵਿਚ ਗਿਆ, ਤਦ (ਉਥੇ ਵੀ) ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ (ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸੀ)।
Krishna saw Narada entering the second house and he also went inside the house, where the sage delightfully said this,
ਪੇਖਿਭਯੋਸਭਹੂਗ੍ਰਿਹਸ੍ਯਾਮਸੁਯੌਕਬਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਹਿਗ੍ਰੰਥਸੁਧਾਰਿਯੋ॥
ਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਨੇ ਆਨੰਦਿਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਘਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਹੀ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ (ਦੀ ਕਥਾ) ਕਵੀ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਨੇ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਵਿਚ ਵਰਣਿਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।
“O Krishna! I am looking at you in all the directions in the house
ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹਜੂਕੋਮਨਮੈਮੁਨਿਈਸਸਹੀਕਰਿਕੈਜਗਦੀਸਬਿਚਾਰਿਯੋ॥੨੩੦੩॥
ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਰਦ ਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਨੇ (ਆਪਣੇ) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਸਹੀ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ ਜਗਦੀਸ਼ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਲਿਆ ॥੨੩੦੩॥
” Narada, in reality, considered Krishna as Lord-God.2303.
ਭਾਤਿਕਹੂਕਹੂਗਾਵਤਹੈਕਹੂਹਾਥਿਲੀਏਪ੍ਰਭੁਬੀਨਬਜਾਵੈ॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਕਈ ਭਾਂਤ (ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ) ਕਿਧਰੇ ਗਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਕਿਧਰੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਬੀਣਾ ਵਜਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
Somewhere Krishna is seen singing and somewhere playing on his vina holdint it in his hand
ਪੀਵਤਹੈਸੁਕਹੂਮਦਰਾਅਉਕਹੂਲਰਕਾਨਕੋਲਾਡਲਡਾਵੈ॥
ਕਿਧਰੇ ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਪੀਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਧਰੇ ਲੜਕਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲਾਡ ਨਾਲ ਖਿਡਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
Somewhere he is drinking wine and somewhere he is seen playing affectionately with children
ਜੁਧੁਕਰੈਕਹੂਮਲਨਸੋਕਹੂਨੰਦਗਹਾਥਿਲੀਏਚਮਕਾਵੈ॥
ਕਿਧਰੇ ਪਹਿਲਵਾਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਧਰੇ ਨੰਦਗ (ਖੜਗ) ਨੂੰ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਚਮਕਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
Somewhere he is fighting with the wrestlers and somewhere he is rotating the mace with his hand
ਇਉਹਰਿਕੇਲਕਰੈਤਿਹਠਾਜਿਹਕਉਤੁਕਕੋਕੋਊਪਾਰਨਪਾਵੈ॥੨੩੦੪॥
ਉਥੇ (ਦੁਆਰਿਕਾ ਵਿਚ) ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਖੇਡ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਪਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾ ਸਕਦਾ ॥੨੩੦੪॥
In this way, Krishna is engaged in this wondrous play, no one is comprehending the mystery of this play.2304.

ਯੌਰਿਖਿਦੇਖਿਚਰਿਤ੍ਰਹਰਿਚਰਨਰਹਿਯੋਲਪਟਾਇ॥
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਨਾਰਦ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਲਿਪਟ ਗਿਆ।
ਚਲਤਭਯੋਸਭਜਗਤਕੋਕਉਤਕਦੇਖੋਜਾਇ॥੨੩੦੫॥
ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਕੌਤਕ ਵੇਖਣ ਲਈ ਚਲ ਪਿਆ ॥੨੩੦੫॥
In this way, the sage seeing the wonderful conduct of the Lord, clung to his feet and then left in order to see the spectacle of the whole world.2305.
ਅਥਜਰਾਸੰਧਿਬਧਕਥਨੰ॥
ਹੁਣ ਜਰਾਸੰਧ ਦੇ ਬਧ ਦਾ ਕਥਨ
Now begins the description of the killing of Jarasandh

ਬ੍ਰਹਮਮਹੂਰਤਸ੍ਯਾਮਉਠੈਉਠਿਨ੍ਰਹਾਇਹ੍ਰਿਦੈਹਰਿਧਿਆਨਧਰੈ॥
ਪ੍ਰਭਾਤ ਵੇਲੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਉਠਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਠ ਕੇ ਇਸ਼ਨਾਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਹਰਿ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਧਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Getting up at the time of meditation, Krishna concentrated on the Lord
ਫਿਰਿਸੰਧਯਹਿਕੈਰਵਿਹੋਤਉਦੈਸੁਜਲਾਜੁਲਿਦੈਅਰੁਮੰਤ੍ਰਰਰੈ॥
ਫਿਰ ਸੂਰਜ ਦੇ ਉਦੈ ਹੋਣ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਧਿਆ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਜਲਾਂਜਲੀ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਮੰਤਰ ਪੜ੍ਹਦੇ ਹਨ।
Then on sunrise, he offered water (to the sun) and performing Sandhya etc. he recited mantras and as a regular routine,
ਫਿਰਿਪਾਠਕਰੈਸਤਸੈਇਸਲੋਕਕੋਸ੍ਯਾਮਨਿਤਾਪ੍ਰਤਿਪੈਨਟਰੈ॥
ਫਿਰ ਸਤ ਸੌ ਸ਼ਲੋਕਾਂ (ਵਾਲੀ 'ਦੁਰਗਾ ਸਪਤਸ਼ਤੀ') ਦਾ ਪਾਠ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨਿੱਤ ਨੇਮ ਤੋਂ ਕਦੇ ਖੁੰਝਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ।
He read Saptshati ( a poet of seven hundred stanzas in honour of the goddess Durga)
ਤਬਕਰਮਨਕਉਨਕਰੈਜਗਮੈਜਬਆਪਨਸ੍ਯਾਮਜੂਕਰਮਕਰੈ॥੨੩੦੬॥
ਤਦ (ਫਿਰ) ਕੌਣ ਇਹ ਕਰਮ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਜਦ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਆਪ (ਇਹ) ਕਰਮ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ ॥੨੩੦੬॥
Well, if Krishna does not perform the regular daily karmas, then who else will perform the same?2306.
ਨ੍ਰਹਾਇਕੈਸ੍ਯਾਮਜੂਲਾਇਸੁਗੰਧਭਲੇਪਟਧਾਰਕੈਬਾਹਰਆਵੈ॥
ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਜੀ ਇਸ਼ਨਾਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਗੇ ਕਪੜੇ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ (ਫਿਰ) ਕਪੜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਗੰਧੀ ਲਗਾ ਕੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਆਇਸਿੰਘਾਸਨਊਪਰਬੈਠਕੈਸ੍ਯਾਮਭਲੀਬਿਧਿਨਿਆਉਕਰਾਵੈ॥
ਆ ਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਰਾਜ ਸਿੰਘਾਸਨ ਉਤੇ ਬੈਠ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Krishna after taking bath, applying fragrance etc. and wearing garments comes out and sitting on his throne imparts justice etc. in a nice manner
ਅਉਸੁਖਦੇਵਕੋਤਾਤਭਲਾਸੁਕਥਾਕਰਿਸ੍ਰੀਨੰਦਲਾਲਰਿਝਾਵੈ॥
ਅਤੇ ਸੁਖਦੇਵ (ਸ਼ੁਕਦੇਵ) ਦੇ ਚੰਗੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਕਥਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਰਿਝਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
The father of Sukhdev used to please very nicely Shri Krishna, the son of Nand Lal by causing him to listen to the exegesis of scriptures
ਤਉਲਗਿਆਇਕਹੀਬਤੀਆਇਕਸੋਮੁਖਤੇਕਬਿਭਾਖਸੁਨਾਵੈ॥੨੩੦੭॥
ਤਦ ਤਕ ਇਕ (ਦੂਤ) ਨੇ ਆ ਕੇ ਗੱਲ ਕਹੀ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਵੀ ਮੁਖ ਤੋਂ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਸੁਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨੩੦੭॥
Till then on one day whatever one messenger said to him on coming, the poet is telling that.2307.
