(ਹੇ) ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਬਾਣ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ!

(ਤੈਨੂੰ) ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਹੈ। (ਹੇ) ਡਰ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ! (ਤੈਨੂੰ) ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਹੈ।
Salutation to Him, who is Fearless.
ਨਮੋਦੇਵਦੇਵੰ॥
ਹੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਦੇਵਤੇ! (ਤੈਨੂੰ) ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਹੈ।
Salutation to Him, who is God of gods. Salutation to Him,
ਭਵਾਣੰਭਵੇਅੰ॥੮੬॥
(ਜਿਸ ਦੀ) ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਂਦ ਹੈ, (ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਹੈ) ॥੮੬॥
Who shall ever be within the world.86.

ਨਮੋਖਗਖੰਡੰਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਣਕਟਾਰੰ॥
(ਹੇ) ਤਲਵਾਰ, ਖੰਡੇ, ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਟਾਰ ਦੇ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਾਲੇ! (ਤੈਨੂੰ) ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਹੈ।
Salutation to him, who wields spear, double-edged sword, sword and dagger,
ਸਦਾਏਕਰੂਪੰਸਦਾਨਿਰਬਿਕਾਰੰ॥
(ਹੇ) ਸਦਾ ਇਕ ਰੂਪ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ! (ਤੈਨੂੰ) ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਹੈ।
Who is ever monomorphic and ever without vices.
ਨਮੋਬਾਣਪਾਣੰਨਮੋਦੰਡਧਾਰਿਯੰ॥
(ਹੇ) ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਬਾਣ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ! (ਤੈਨੂੰ) ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਹੈ। (ਹੇ) ਦੰਡ (ਸੋਟਾ) ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ! (ਤੈਨੂੰ) ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਹੈ।
Salutation to Him, who is the wielder of bow in His hands and who also carries the staff,
ਜਿਨੈਚੌਦਹੂੰਲੋਕਜੋਤੰਬਿਥਾਰਿਯੰ॥੮੭॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਚੌਦਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਜੋਤਿ ਨੂੰ ਪਸਾਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ (ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਹੈ) ॥੮੭॥
Who hath spread His Light in all the fourteen worlds.87.
ਨਮਸਕਾਰਯੰਮੋਰਤੀਰੰਤੁਫੰਗੰ॥
(ਹੇ) ਤੀਰ ਅਤੇ ਬੰਦੂਕ ਸਰੂਪ! ਮੇਰੀ (ਤੈਨੂੰ) ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਹੈ।
I salute the arrow and the gun, I salute the lustrous sword,
ਨਮੋਖਗਅਦਗੰਅਭੈਅੰਅਭੰਗੰ॥
(ਹੇ) ਦਾਗ-ਰਹਿਤ, ਭੈ-ਰਹਿਤ, ਅਟੁੱਟ ਖੜਗ ਦੇ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਾਲੇ! (ਤੈਨੂੰ) ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਹੈ।
Which Is impenetratable and indestructible.
ਗਦਾਯੰਗ੍ਰਿਸਟੰਨਮੋਸੈਹਥੀਅੰ॥
(ਹੇ) ਵੱਡੀ ਗਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੈਹੱਥੀ ਦੇ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਾਲੇ! (ਤੈਨੂੰ) ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਹੈ।
I salute the great mace and lance,
ਜਿਨੈਤੁਲੀਯੰਬੀਰਬੀਯੋਨਬੀਅੰ॥੮੮॥
ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਦੂਜਾ ਸੂਰਮਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ (ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਹੈ) ॥੮੮॥
Which have no equal or second in bravery.88.

ਹੇ ਚੱਕਰ ਨੂੰ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ! (ਤੈਨੂੰ) ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਹੈ।
Salutation to Him, Who holds the disc in His hand,
ਅਭੂਤੰਭਯਾਣੰ॥
(ਹੇ) ਤੱਤ੍ਵਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਹੋਂਦ ਵਾਲੇ! (ਤੈਨੂੰ ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਹੈ)।
He hath manifested Himself without elements.
ਨਮੋਉਗ੍ਰਦਾੜੰ॥
(ਹੇ) ਵੱਡੀਆਂ ਦਾੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ! (ਤੈਨੂੰ) ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਹੈ
Salutation to Him, who hath sharp grinder teeth,
ਮਹਾਗ੍ਰਿਸਟਗਾੜੰ॥੮੯॥
ਤਿਖੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ (ਦਾੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ! ਤੈਨੂੰ) ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਹੈ ॥੮੯॥
Which are thick and strong.89.

ਜਿਸ ਤੀਰਾਂ ਤੇ ਤੋਪਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਨੇ
Salutation to Him, who hath the arrows and the cannon,
ਜਿਨੈਸਤ੍ਰਘੋਪੰ॥
ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਹੈ, (ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਹੈ।
Who hath destroyed the enemies.
ਨਮੋਧੋਪਪਟੰ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਸਿਧੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਰਚ ਨਾਲ
Salutation to Him, Who holds the straight sword and the bayonet,
ਜਿਨੇਦੁਸਟਦਟੰ॥੯੦॥
ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਡਾਂਟਿਆ ਹੈ (ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਹੈ ॥੯੦॥
Who hath reporimanded the tyrants.90.
ਜਿਤੇਸਸਤ੍ਰਨਾਮੰ॥
ਜਿਤਨੇ ਵੀ ਨਾਂਵਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰ ਹਨ,
I salute all the weapons of various names.
ਨਮਸਕਾਰਤਾਮੰ॥
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਹੈ।

ਜਿਤੇਅਸਤ੍ਰਭੈਯੰ॥
ਜਿਤਨੇ ਵੀ ਅਸਤ੍ਰ ਹਨ,
I salute all kinds of armour

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਹੈ ॥੯੧॥

ਸ੍ਵੈਯਾ:
SWAYYA.
ਮੇਰੁਕਰੋਤ੍ਰਿਣਤੇਮੁਹਿਜਾਹਿਗਰੀਬਨਿਵਾਜਨਦੂਸਰਤੋਸੋ॥
ਮੇਰੇ ਵਰਗੇ ਤਿਨਕੇ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਮੇਰ ਪਰਬਤ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਗ਼ਰੀਬ-ਨਿਵਾਜ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਦੂਜਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।
There is no other support for the poor except Thee, who hath made me a mountain from a straw.
ਭੂਲਛਿਮੋਹਮਰੀਪ੍ਰਭਆਪਨਭੂਲਨਹਾਰਕਹੂੰਕੋਊਮੋਸੋ॥
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਆਪ ਮੇਰੀ ਭੁਲ ਬਖਸ਼ ਦਿਓ (ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) ਮੇਰੇ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਭੁਲਣਹਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।
O Lord! Forgive me for my mistakes, because who is there so much blunderhead like me?
ਸੇਵਕਰੀਤੁਮਰੀਤਿਨਕੇਸਭਹੀਗ੍ਰਿਹਦੇਖੀਅਤਦ੍ਰਬਭਰੋਸੋ॥
(ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ) ਤੇਰੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਦੌਲਤ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਦਿਸਦੇ ਹਨ।
Those who have served Thee, there seems wealth and self-confidence in all there homes.
ਯਾਕਲਮੈਸਭਕਾਲਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨਕੇਭਾਰੀਭੁਜਾਨਕੋਭਾਰੀਭਰੋਸੋ॥੯੨॥
ਇਸ ਕਲਿਯੁਗ ਵਿਚ (ਮੈਨੂੰ) (ਮਹਾ) ਕਾਲ ਦੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰੀਆਂ ਭੁਜਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਹੈ ॥੯੨॥
In this Iron age, the supreme trust is only for KAL, Who is the Sword-incarnate and hath mighty arms.92.
ਸੁੰਭਨਿਸੁੰਭਸੇਕੋਟਨਿਸਾਚਰਜਾਹਿਛਿਨੇਕਬਿਖੈਹਨਿਡਾਰੇ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਸ਼ੁੰਭ-ਨਿਸ਼ੁੰਭ ਵਰਗੇ ਕਰੋੜਾਂ ਰਾਖਸ਼ ਛਿਣ ਭਰ ਵਿਚ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ;
He, who hath destroyed millions of demons like Sumbh and Nisumbh in and instant.
ਧੂਮਰਲੋਚਨਚੰਡਅਉਮੁੰਡਸੇਮਾਹਿਖਸੇਪਲਬੀਚਨਿਵਾਰੇ॥
ਧੂਮ੍ਰਲੋਚਨ, ਚੰਡ ਮੁੰਡ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਿਖਾਸੁਰ ਵਰਗੇ (ਦੈਂਤ) ਪਲ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ;
Who hath annihilated in and instant the demons like Dhumarlochan, Chand, Mund and Mahishasura.
ਚਾਮਰਸੇਰਣਿਚਿਛਰਸੇਰਕਤਿਛਣਸੇਝਟਦੈਝਝਕਾਰੇ॥
ਚਾਮਰ, ਚਿੱਛਰ, ਲਾਲ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੈਂਤ ਯੁੱਧ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਜਲਦੀ ਹੀ ਝਾੜ ਸੁਟੇ ਹਨ;
Who hath immediately thrashed and thrown down far away the demons like Chamar, Ranchichchhar and Rakat Beej.
ਐਸੋਸੁਸਾਹਿਬੁਪਾਇਕਹਾਪਰਵਾਹਰਹੀਇਹਦਾਸਤਿਹਾਰੇ॥੯੩॥
ਅਜਿਹੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਇਸ ਦਾਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਹਦੀ ਪਰਵਾਹ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ॥੯੩॥
On realizing the Lord like Thee, this servant of yours doth not care for anyone else.93.
ਮੁੰਡਹੁਸੇਮਧੁਕੀਟਭਸੇਮੁਰਸੇਅਘਸੇਜਿਨਿਕੋਟਿਦਲੇਹੈ॥
ਮੁੰਡ ਵਰਗੇ, ਮਧੁ-ਕੈਟਭ ਜਿਹੇ, ਮੁਰ ਅਤੇ ਅਘ ਵਰਗੇ ਕਰੋੜਾਂ (ਦੈਂਤ) ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ,
He, Who hath mashed millions of demons like Mundakasura, Madhu, Kaitabh, Murs and Aghasura.
ਓਟਿਕਰੀਕਬਹੂੰਨਜਿਨੈਰਣਿਚੋਟਪਰੀਪਗਦ੍ਵੈਨਟਲੇਹੈ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਵਿਚ ਕਦੀ (ਵੈਰੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਹਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਣ ਲਈ) ਓਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ (ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰ ਦੀ) ਚੋਟ ਲਗਣ ਤੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਵਿਚ ਦੋ ਕਦਮ ਵੀ ਹਿਲਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ,
And such heroes who never asked anyone for support in the battlefield and had never turned back even two feet.
ਸਿੰਧੁਬਿਖੈਜੇਨਬੂਡੇਨਿਸਾਚਰਪਾਵਕਬਾਣਬਹੇਨਜਲੇਹੈ॥
ਜੋ ਦੈਂਤ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵਿਚ ਡੁਬ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਅਗਨ-ਬਾਣ ਚਲਣ ਤੇ ਵੀ ਸੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕੇ,
And such demons, who could not be drowned even in the sea and there was no impact on them of the fireshafts.
ਤੇਅਸਿਤੋਰਿਬਿਲੋਕਿਅਲੋਕਸੁਲਾਜਕੋਛਾਡਕੈਭਾਜਿਚਲੇਹੈ॥੯੪॥
ਉਹ ਵੀ ਤੇਰੀ ਅਲੌਕਿਕ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਲੱਜਾ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗ ਕੇ ਭਜ ਗਏ ਹਨ ॥੯੪॥
On seeing Thy Sword and forsaking their shyness, they are fleeing away.94.
ਰਾਵਣਸੇਮਹਿਰਾਵਣਸੇਘਟਕਾਨਹੁਸੇਪਲਬੀਚਪਛਾਰੇ॥
ਰਾਵਣ, ਮਹਿਰਾਵਣ ਅਤੇ ਕੁੰਭਕਰਨ ਵਰਗੇ (ਜਿਸ ਨੇ) ਪਲ ਭਰ ਵਿਚ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ;
Thou hast destroyed in and instant the warriors like Ravana, Kumbhkarna and Ghatksura.
ਬਾਰਦਨਾਦਅਕੰਪਨਸੇਜਗਜੰਗਜੁਰੈਜਿਨਸਿਉਜਮਹਾਰੇ॥
ਮੇਘਨਾਦ ਅਤੇ ਅਕੰਪਨ ਵਰਗੇ ਯੋਧੇ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਯਮ ਵੀ ਹਾਰ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
And like Meghnad, who could defeat even Yama in the war..
ਕੁੰਭਅਕੁੰਭਸੇਜੀਤਸਭੈਜਗਿਸਾਤਹੂੰਸਿੰਧਹਥਿਆਰਪਖਾਰੇ॥
ਕੁੰਭ ਅਤੇ ਅਕੁੰਭ ਵਰਗੇ (ਯੋਧੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ) ਸਾਰੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਤ ਕੇ ਸੱਤਾਂ ਸਮੁੰਦਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਸਾਫ਼ ਕੀਤੇ ਸਨ,
And the demons like Kumbh and Akumbh, who conquering all, washed away the blood from their weapons in seven seas, etc.
ਜੇਜੇਹੁਤੇਅਕਟੇਬਿਕਟੇਸੁਕਟੇਕਰਿਕਾਲਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨਕੇਮਾਰੇ॥੯੫॥
(ਇਹ ਤੇ) ਅਜਿਹੇ ਹੋਰ ਆਕੜਖਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਠੋਰ (ਦੈਂਤ) ਕਾਲ ਦੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਕਟ ਕੇ ਮਾਰੇ ਗਏ ॥੯੫॥
All of them died with the terrible sword of the mighty KAL.95.
ਜੋਕਹੂੰਕਾਲਤੇਭਾਜਕੇਬਾਚੀਅਤਤੋਕਿਹਕੁੰਟਕਹੋਭਜਿਜਈਯੈ॥
ਜੇ ਕਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਭਜ ਕੇ ਕਿਤੇ ਬਚਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ, ਤਾਂ (ਦਸੋ) ਕਿਹੜੀ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਨੂੰ ਭਜ ਕੇ ਚਲੇ ਜਾਈਐ।
If one tries to flee and escape from KAL, then tell in which direction shall he flee?
ਆਗੇਹੂੰਕਾਲਧਰੇਅਸਿਗਾਜਤਛਾਜਤਹੈਜਿਹਤੇਨਸਿਅਈਯੈ॥
(ਜਿਧਰ ਜਾਈਏ ਉਧਰ) ਅਗੇ ਹੀ ਕਾਲ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਧਾਰੇ ਗੱਜਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੋਭ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਕਰ ਕੇ (ਵਾਪਸ) ਭਜ ਆਈਦਾ ਹੈ।
Wherever one may go, even there he will perceive the well-seated thundering sword of KAL.
ਐਸੇਨਕੈਗਯੋਕੋਈਸੁਦਾਵਰੇਜਾਹਿਉਪਾਵਸੋਘਾਵਬਚਈਐ॥
ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਦਾਉ ਦਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਿਆ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਉਪਾ ਨਾਲ (ਕਾਲ ਦੀ) ਚੋਟ ਤੋਂ ਬਚ ਸਕੀਏ।
None hath been able to tell uptil now the measure, which, may be adopted to save himself from the blow of KAL.
ਜਾਤੇਨਛੁਟੀਐਮੁੜਕਹੂੰਹਸਿਤਾਕੀਨਕਿਉਸਰਣਾਗਤਿਜਈਯੈ॥੯੬॥
ਹੇ ਮੂਰਖ! ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਛੁਟਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਵਿਚ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਾ ਜਾਇਆ ਜਾਏ ॥੯੬॥
O foolish mind! The one from whom Thou cannot escape in any manner, why doth thee not go under His Refuge.96.
ਕ੍ਰਿਸਨਅਉਬਿਸਨੁਜਪੇਤੁਹਿਕੋਟਿਕਰਾਮਰਹੀਮਭਲੀਬਿਧਿਧਿਆਯੋ॥
(ਹੇ ਜਿਗਿਆਸੂ!) ਤੂੰ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਣੂ ਆਦਿ ਕਰੋੜਾਂ (ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ) ਜਪਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਮ ਤੇ ਰਹੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਧਿਆਇਆ ਹੈ,
Thou hast meditated on millions of Krishnas, Vishnus, Ramas and Rahims.
