RASAAVAL STANZA
ਜਿਤੇਰਾਮਹੁਏ॥
ਜਿਤਨੇ ਵੀ ਰਾਮ (ਆਦਿ ਅਵਤਾਰ) ਹੋਏ ਹਨ,
All the Ramas who incarnated,
ਸਭੈਅੰਤਿਮੂਏ॥
ਸਾਰੇ ਅੰਤ ਨੂੰ ਸਰੀਰ ਤਿਆਗ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
Ultimately passed away.
ਜਿਤੇਕ੍ਰਿਸਨਹ੍ਵੈਹੈ॥
ਜਿਤਨੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ (ਵਰਗੇ ਅਵਤਾਰ) ਹੋਏ ਹਨ,
All the Krishnas, who had incarnated,
ਸਭੈਅੰਤਿਜੈਹੈ॥੭੦॥
ਸਾਰੇ ਅੰਤ ਵਿਚ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ ॥੭੦॥
Have all passed away.70.
ਜਿਤੇਦੇਵਹੋਸੀ॥
(ਭਵਿਸ਼ ਵਿਚ) ਜਿਤਨੇ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ,
All the gods who will come into being in future,
ਸਭੈਅੰਤਜਾਸੀ॥
(ਉਹ) ਸਾਰੇ ਅੰਤ ਵਿਚ ਚਲੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
They will all ultimately expire.
ਜਿਤੇਬੋਧਹ੍ਵੈਹੈ॥
ਜਿਤਨੇ ਵੀ ਬੁੱਧ (ਵਰਗੇ ਮਹਾਪੁਰਸ਼) ਹੋਏ ਹਨ,
All the Buddhas, who came into being,
ਸਭੈਅੰਤਿਛੈਹੈ॥੭੧॥
(ਉਹ) ਸਾਰੇ ਅੰਤ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ ॥੭੧॥
Expired ultimately.71.
ਜਿਤੇਦੇਵਰਾਯੰ॥
ਜਿਤਨੇ ਦੇਵ-ਰਾਜ (ਹੋਏ ਹਨ)
All the god-kings, who came into being,
ਸਭੈਅੰਤਜਾਯੰ॥
(ਉਹ) ਸਾਰੇ ਅੰਤ ਨੂੰ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
Ultimately passed away.
ਜਿਤੇਦਈਤਏਸੰ॥
ਜਿਤਨੇ ਵੀ ਦੈਂਤ-ਰਾਜ (ਹੋਏ ਹਨ)
All the demon-kings, who came into being,
ਤਿਤ੍ਯੋਕਾਲਲੇਸੰ॥੭੨॥
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਲ ਨੇ ਲੈ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ (ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।)॥੭੨॥
They were all destroyed by KAL.72.
ਨਰਸਿੰਘਾਵਤਾਰੰ॥
ਨਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਰਗੇ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ
The incarnation Narsingh
ਵਹੇਕਾਲਮਾਰੰ॥
ਕਾਲ ਨੇ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
Was also killed by KAL.
ਬਡੋਡੰਡਧਾਰੀ॥
ਵੱਡੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਦੰਡ-ਧਾਰੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਵੀ
The incarnation with grinder teeth (i.e. Boar)
ਹਣਿਓਕਾਲਭਾਰੀ॥੭੩॥
ਬਲਵਾਨ ਕਾਲ ਨੇ ਨਾਸ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ॥੭੩॥
Was killed by mighty KAL.73.
ਦਿਜੰਬਾਵਨੇਯੰ॥
(ਅਵਤਾਰ ਰੂਪ) ਬਾਵਨ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ
Vaman, the Brahmin incarnation,
ਹਣਿਯੋਕਾਲਤੇਯੰ॥
ਕਾਲ ਨੇ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
Was killed by KAL.
ਮਹਾਮਛਮੁੰਡੰ॥
ਵੱਡੇ ਸਿਰ ਵਾਲੇ ਮੱਛ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ
The Fish incarnation of spatious mouth,
ਫਧਿਓਕਾਲਝੁੰਡੰ॥੭੪॥
ਕਾਲ ਨੇ ਜਾਲ (ਝੁੰਡੰ) ਵਿਚ ਫਸਾ ਲਿਆ ॥੭੪॥
Was entrapped by KAL.74.
ਜਿਤੇਹੋਇਬੀਤੇ॥
ਜਿਤਨੇ ਵੀ (ਵੱਡੇ ਵੱਡੇ) ਹੋ ਚੁਕੇ ਹਨ,
All those who had come into being,
ਤਿਤੇਕਾਲਜੀਤੇ॥
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਲ ਨੇ ਜਿਤ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।
They were all conquered by KAL.
ਜਿਤੇਸਰਨਿਜੈਹੈ॥
ਜਿਤਨੇ (ਮਹਾਕਾਲ ਦੀ) ਸ਼ਰਨ ਵਿਚ ਜਾਣਗੇ,
Those who will go under His Refuge,
ਤਿਤਿਓਰਾਖਿਲੈਹੈ॥੭੫॥
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ (ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ) ਬਚਾ ਲਏਗਾ ॥੭੫॥
They will all be saved by him.75.
ਭੁਜੰਗਪ੍ਰਯਾਤਛੰਦ॥
ਭੁਜੰਗ ਪ੍ਰਯਾਤ ਛੰਦ:
BHUJANG PRAYAAT STANZA
ਬਿਨਾਸਰਨਿਤਾਕੀਨਅਉਰੈਉਪਾਯੰ॥
ਉਸ (ਮਹਾਕਾਲ) ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ (ਵਿਚ ਗਏ ਤੋਂ) ਬਿਨਾ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਉਪਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ (ਕਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਣ ਦਾ)।
Without coming under His Refuge, there is no other measure for protection,
ਕਹਾਦੇਵਦਈਤੰਕਹਾਰੰਕਰਾਯੰ॥
ਕੀ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਦੈਂਤ, ਕੀ ਕੰਗਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜੇ,
May be a god, demon, pauper or a king.
ਕਹਾਪਾਤਿਸਾਹੰਕਹਾਉਮਰਾਯੰ॥
ਕੀ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ, ਕੀ ਅਮੀਰ (ਖ਼ਾਨਦਾਨੀ)
May be the Sovereign and may be the courtiers,
ਬਿਨਾਸਰਨਿਤਾਕੀਨਕੋਟੈਉਪਾਯੰ॥੭੬॥
(ਸਭ) ਉਸ ਦੀ ਓਟ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਕਰੋੜਾਂ ਉਪਾ (ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਕਾਲ ਦੀ ਮਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਚ) ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦੇ ॥੭੬॥
Without coming under His shelter, millions of measures for protection will be useless. 76.
ਜਿਤੇਜੀਵਜੰਤੰਸੁਦੁਨੀਅੰਉਪਾਯੰ॥
ਜਿਤਨੇ ਵੀ ਜੀਵ ਜੰਤ (ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਦੁਨੀਆ ਵਿਚ ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ,
All the creatures created by Him in the world
ਸਭੈਅੰਤਿਕਾਲੰਬਲੀਕਾਲਿਘਾਯੰ॥
(ਉਹ) ਸਾਰੇ ਅੰਤ ਸਮੇਂ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਕਾਲ ਨੇ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ।
Will ultimately be killed by the mighty KAL.
ਬਿਨਾਸਰਨਿਤਾਕੀਨਹੀਔਰਓਟੰ॥
ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ (ਬਚਣ ਦੀ) ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਓਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ,
There is no other protection without coming under His shelter,
ਲਿਖੇਜੰਤ੍ਰਕੇਤੇਪੜੇਮੰਤ੍ਰਕੋਟੰ॥੭੭॥
(ਭਾਵੇਂ) ਕਿਤਨੇ ਹੀ ਯੰਤ੍ਰ ਲਿਖ ਲਏ ਜਾਣ ਜਾਂ ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਪੜ੍ਹ ਲਏ ਜਾਣ ॥੭੭॥
Even though many Yantras be written and millions of Mantras be recited.77.
ਨਰਾਜਛੰਦ॥
ਨਰਾਜ ਛੰਦ:
NARAAJ STANZA
ਜਿਤੇਕਿਰਾਜਰੰਕਯੰ॥
ਜਿਤਨੇ ਵੀ ਰਾਜੇ ਅਤੇ ਰੰਕ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ,
All the kings and pupers who have come into being,
ਹਨੇਸੁਕਾਲਬੰਕਯੰ॥
(ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਟੇਢੀ ਚਾਲ ਵਾਲੇ ਕਾਲ ਨੇ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
Are sure to be killed by KAL.
ਜਿਤੇਕਿਲੋਕਪਾਲਯੰ॥
ਜਿਤਨੇ ਲੋਕ-ਪਾਲ (ਹੋਏ ਹਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ)
All the Lokpals, who have come into being,
ਨਿਦਾਨਕਾਲਦਾਲਯੰ॥੭੮॥
ਅੰਤ ਵਿਚ ਕਾਲ ਨੇ ਦਲ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ॥੭੮॥
Will ultimately be mashed by KAL.78.
ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲਪਾਣਿਜੇਜਪੈ॥
ਜਿਹੜੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ (ਮਹਾਕਾਲ) ਨੂੰ ਜਪਦੇ ਹਨ,
Those who meditate on the Supreme KAL,
ਅਨੰਤਥਾਟਤੇਥਾਪੈ॥
(ਉਹ ਰਖਿਆ ਲਈ) ਬੇਸ਼ੁਮਾਰ ਸਾਧਨ ਜੁਟਾ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
The wielder of the sword, they firmly adopt innumerable measures for protection.
ਜਿਤੇਕਿਕਾਲਧਿਆਇਹੈ॥
ਜਿਤਨੇ ਵੀ ਕਾਲ (ਮਹਾਕਾਲ) ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ,
Those who remember KAL,
ਜਗਤਿਜੀਤਜਾਇਹੈ॥੭੯॥
ਉਹ ਜਗਤ ਉਤੇ ਜਿਤ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੭੯॥
They conquer the world and depart.79.
ਬਚਿਤ੍ਰਚਾਰਚਿਤ੍ਰਯੰ॥
(ਜਿਸ ਦਾ) ਸਰੂਪ ਬਚਿਤ੍ਰ ਅਤੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਹੈ
That Supreme KAL is Supremely Pure,
ਪਰਮਯੰਪਵਿਤ੍ਰਯੰ॥
ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਪਵਿਤਰ ਹੈ,
Whose image is supernatural and winsome.
ਅਲੋਕਰੂਪਰਾਜਿਯੰ॥
(ਜੋ) ਅਲੌਕਿਕ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ ਸਜ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ,
He is bedecked with supernatural beauty,
ਸੁਣੇਸੁਪਾਪਭਾਜਿਯੰ॥੮੦॥
(ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ) ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਪਾਪ ਭਜ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੮੦॥
All the sins flee on hearing His Name.80.
ਬਿਸਾਲਲਾਲਲੋਚਨੰ॥
(ਉਸ ਦੇ) ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਲਾਲ ਨੇਤਰ
He, who hath wide and red eyes,
ਬਿਅੰਤਪਾਪਮੋਚਨੰ॥
ਬੇਅੰਤ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ।
And who is the destroyer of innumerable sins.
ਚਮਕਚੰਦ੍ਰਚਾਰਯੰ॥
(ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਰੂਪ ਦੀ) ਚੰਦ੍ਰਮਾ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਚਮਕ ਨੇ
The glitter of his face is more beautiful than that of the moon
ਅਘੀਅਨੇਕਤਾਰਯੰ॥੮੧॥
ਅਨੇਕ ਪਾਪੀ ਤਾਰੇ ਹਨ ॥੮੧॥
And who hath caused many sinners to ferry across.81.

ਜਿਤੇਲੋਕਪਾਲੰ॥
ਜਿਤਨੇ ਲੋਕ ਪਾਲ ਹਨ,
All the Lokpals
ਤਿਤੇਜੇਰਕਾਲੰ॥
ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਕਾਲ ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਹਨ।
Are subservient to KAL.
ਜਿਤੇਸੂਰਚੰਦ੍ਰੰ॥
ਜਿਤਨੇ ਸੂਰਜ ਤੇ ਚੰਦ੍ਰਮੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ
All the suns and moons and
ਕਹਾਇੰਦ੍ਰਬਿੰਦ੍ਰੰ॥੮੨॥
ਕੀ ਇੰਦਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਮੁੱਚ ਹਨ (ਸਭ ਕਾਲ ਦੇ ਵਸ ਵਿਚ ਹਨ) ॥੮੨॥
Even Indra and Vaman (are subservient to KAL.82.
ਭੁਜੰਗਪ੍ਰਯਾਤਛੰਦ॥
ਭੁਜੰਗ ਪ੍ਰਯਾਤ ਛੰਦ:
BHUJANG PRAYAAT STANZA
ਫਿਰੈਚੌਦਹੂੰਲੋਕਯੰਕਾਲਚਕ੍ਰੰ॥
ਚੌਦਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਕਾਲ ਦਾ ਚੱਕਰ ਚਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
All the fourteen worlds are under the Command of KAL.
ਸਭੈਨਾਥਨਾਥੇਭ੍ਰਮੰਭਉਹਬਕੰ॥
(ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਟੇਢੀ ਭੌਂ ਫਿਰਾ ਕੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਨਾਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਥ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।
He hath stringed all the Naths by turning about the slanting evebrows.
ਕਹਾਰਾਮਕ੍ਰਿਸਨੰਕਹਾਚੰਦਸੂਰੰ॥
ਕੀ ਰਾਮ ਅਤੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ, ਕੀ ਚੰਦ੍ਰਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਰਜ,
May be Rama and Krishna, may be the moon and sun,
ਸਭੈਹਾਥਬਾਧੇਖਰੇਕਾਲਹਜੂਰੰ॥੮੩॥
ਸਾਰੇ ਕਾਲ ਦੀ ਹਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਵਿਚ ਹੱਥ ਬੰਨ੍ਹੀ ਖੜੋਤੇ ਹਨ ॥੮੩॥
All are standing with folded hands in the presence of KAL.83.
ਸ੍ਵੈਯਾ॥
ਸ੍ਵੈਯਾ:
SWAYYA.
ਕਾਲਹੀਪਾਇਭਯੋਭਗਵਾਨਸੁਜਾਗਤਯਾਜਗਜਾਕੀਕਲਾਹੈ॥
ਕਾਲ (ਸਮਾਂ) ਪਾ ਕੇ ਹੀ ਭਗਵਾਨ (ਵਿਸ਼ਣੂ) ਹੋਇਆ ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਕਲਾ (ਸ਼ਕਤੀ) ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਜਗਤ ਜਾਗ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ (ਗਤੀਮਾਨ ਹੈ)।
At the instance of KAL, Vishnu appeared, whose power is manifested through the world.
ਕਾਲਹੀਪਾਇਭਯੋਬ੍ਰਹਮਾਸਿਵਕਾਲਹੀਪਾਇਭਯੋਜੁਗੀਆਹੈ॥
ਕਾਲ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਹੀ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲ ਹੀ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਯੋਗੀ ਹੋਇਆ।
At the instance of KAL, Brahma appeared and also at the instance of KAL the Yogi Shiva appeared.
ਕਾਲਹੀਪਾਇਸੁਰਾਸੁਰਗੰਧ੍ਰਬਜਛਭੁਜੰਗਦਿਸਾਬਿਦਿਸਾਹੈ॥
ਕਾਲ ਹੀ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਦੇਵਤੇ, ਦੈਂਤ, ਗੰਧਰਬ, ਯਕਸ਼, ਸੱਪ, ਦਿਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਹੋਂਦ ਵਿਚ ਆਈਆਂ।
At the instance of KAL, the gods, demons, Gandharvas, Yakshas, Bhujang, directions and indications have appeared.
ਅਉਰਸੁਕਾਲਸਭੈਬਸਿਕਾਲਕੇਏਕਹੀਕਾਲਅਕਾਲਸਦਾਹੈ॥੮੪॥
ਹੋਰ ਜੋ ਵਰਤਮਾਨ ਪਦਾਰਥ ('ਸੁਕਾਲ') ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਕਾਲ ਦੇ ਵਸ ਵਿਚ ਹਨ, ਬਸ ਇਕੋ ਮਹਾਕਾਲ ਹੀ ਕਾਲ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਹੈ ॥੮੪॥
All the other prevalent object are within KAL, only One supreme KAL is ever Timeless and eternal.84.
ਭੁਜੰਗਪ੍ਰਯਾਤਛੰਦ॥
ਭੁਜੰਗ ਪ੍ਰਯਾਤ ਛੰਦ:
BHUJANG PRAYAAT STANZA
ਨਮੋਦੇਵਦੇਵੰਨਮੋਖੜਗਧਾਰੰ॥
(ਹੇ) ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਦੇਵਤੇ! (ਤੈਨੂੰ) ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਹੈ, ਹੇ ਖੜਗਧਾਰੀ! (ਤੈਨੂੰ) ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਹੈ।
Salutation to the God of gods and salutation to the wielder of sword,
ਸਦਾਏਕਰੂਪਸਦਾਨਿਰਬਿਕਾਰੰ॥
(ਤੂੰ) ਸਦਾ ਇਕ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਹੈਂ।
Who is ever monomorphic and ever without vices.
ਨਮੋਰਾਜਸੰਸਾਤਕੰਤਾਮਸੇਅੰ॥
(ਹੇ) ਰਜੋ, ਸਤੋ ਅਤੇ ਤਮੋ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ! (ਤੈਨੂੰ) ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਹੈ।
Salutation to Him, who manifests the qualities of activity (rajas), rhythm (sattava) and morbidity (tamas).
ਨਮੋਨਿਰਬਿਕਾਰੰਨਮੋਨਿਰਜੁਰੇਅੰ॥੮੫॥
(ਹੇ) ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ! (ਤੈਨੂੰ) ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਹੈ, ਹੇ ਰੋਗਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ! (ਤੈਨੂੰ) ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਹੈ ॥੮੫॥
Salutation to Him who is without vices and who is without ailments. 85.
