ਹਰਕਸਸ਼ਨੀਦਾਅਸਤਜ਼ਿਤੂਗ਼ੁਫ਼ਤਗੂਇਖ਼ਾਸ।
ਜਿਸ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਤੇਰੀ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸੁਹਬਤ ਵਿਚ ਤੇਰੀ ਗਲ ਸੁਣੀ ਹੈ,
Remembrance of Akaalpurakh is the repository of contentment and faith;
ਅਜ਼ਸਦਗ਼ਮਿਸ਼ਦੀਦਸ਼ੁਦਾਜ਼ੂਦਤਰਖ਼ਲਾਸ।੪੨।੧।
ਉਹ ਸੈਣਕੜੇ ਸਖਤ ਗਮਾਣ ਤੋਣ ਦਮਾਣ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਮੁਕਤ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ।
And even a beggar who practices to meditate on Him feels elated like a king would with his pomp and powers. (43)
ਆਬਿਹਯੱਾਤਿਮਾਸਖ਼ੁਨਿਪੀਰਿਕਾਮਿਲਅਸਤ।
ਪੂਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਮਿਲ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਹੈ,
They, the noble souls, are always euphoric while in His meditation day and night,
ਦਿਲਹਾਇਮੁਰਦਾਰਾਬਿਕੁਨਦਜ਼ਿੰਦਾਓਖ਼ਲਾਸ।੪੨।੨।
ਇਹ ਮੁਰਦਾ ਦਿਲਾਣ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਰਜੀਤ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਕਤ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ।
For them, His meditation is real meditation and his remembrance a real remembrance. (44)
ਅਜ਼ਖ਼ੁਦ-ਨਮਾਈਏਤੂਖ਼ੁਦਾਹਸਤਦੂਰਤਰ।
ਤੇਰੇ ਹਉਮੈ ਦੇ ਦਿਖਾਵੇ ਤੋਣ ਤਾਣ ਰੱਬ ਕੋਹਾਣ ਦੂਰ ਹੈ,
What is kingship and mendicancy? Understand that
ਬੀਨੀਦਰੂਨਿਖ਼ੇਸ਼ਸ਼ਵੀਅਜ਼ਖ਼ੁਦੀਖ਼ਲਾਸ।੪੨।੩।
ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਝਾਤੀ ਮਾਰੇਣ, ਤਾਣ ਹਉਮੈ ਤੋਣ ਮੁਕਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਣ ।
It is the memory of the Creator of the human beings and souls. (45)
ਚੂੰਸਾਲਕਾਨਿਖ਼ੁਦਾਇਰਾਬਾਕੁਨੀਤੂਖ਼ਿਦਮਤੇ।
ਜੇਕਰ ਤੂੰ ਧਰਮੀ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰੇਂ
If God's remembrance becomes a close friend of your life,
ਅਜ਼ਕੈਦਿਗ਼ਮਿਜਹਾਂਬ-ਸ਼ਵਦਜਾਨਿਤੋਖ਼ਲਾਸ।੪੨।੪।
ਤਾਂ ਤੂੰ ਦੁਨਿਆਵੀ ਫਿਕਰਾਂ ਤੋਾ ਛੁਟਕਾਰਾ ਪਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈਂ ।
Then, both the worlds would fall under your command. (46)
ਗੋਯਾਤੂਦਸਤਿਖ਼ੁਦਾਰਾਅਜ਼ਹਿਰਸਕੋਤਾਹਕੁਨ।
ਹੇ ਗੋਯਾ # ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥ ਹਿਰਸ ਅਤੇ ਲਾਲਚ ਤੋਣ ਖਿਚ ਲੈ,
There is a great adulation and praise in remembering Him
ਤਾਅੰਦਰੂਨਿਖ਼ਾਨਾਬੀਨੀਖ਼ੁਦਾਇਖ਼ਾਸ।੪੨।੫।
ਤਾਣ ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਮਹਾਨ ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਜਲਵੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਸਕੇਣ ।
Therefore, we should meditate on His Naam; in fact, we should only remember Him. (47)
