ਚੱਕ੍ਰਚਿਹਨਨਬਰਨਜਾਕੋਜਾਤਿਪਾਤਿਨਭੇਖ॥੯॥੧੮੯॥
ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਚੱਕਰ, ਚਿੰਨ੍ਹ ਅਤੇ ਵਰਨ ਨਹੀਂ, ਨਾ ਹੀ (ਕੋਈ) ਜਾਤਿ, ਬਰਾਦਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਭੇਖ ਹੈ ॥੯॥੧੮੯॥
He is without mark, sign, and colour; He is without caste, linege and guise.9.189.
ਰੂਪਰੇਖਨਰੰਗਜਾਕੋਰਾਗਰੂਪਨਰੰਗ॥
ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਰੂਪ, ਰੇਖ ਅਤੇ ਰੰਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਰਾਗ-ਰੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਰੂਪ ਹੈ।
He is without form, line and colour, and hath no affection for sond and beauty.
ਸਰਬਲਾਇਕਸਰਬਘਾਇਕਸਰਬਤੇਅਨਭੰਗ॥
(ਜੋ) ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਸਮਰਥ ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਦਾ ਸੰਘਾਰਕ ਅਤੇ ਅਜਿਤ ਹੈ।
He is capable to do everything, He is the Destroyer of all and cannot be vanquished by anyone.
ਸਰਬਦਾਤਾਸਰਬਗ੍ਯਾਤਾਸਰਬਕੋਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲ॥
(ਉਹ) ਸਭ ਦਾ ਦਾਤਾ, ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।
He is the Donor, Knower and Sustainer of all.
ਦੀਨਬੰਧੁਦਯਾਲਸੁਆਮੀਆਦਿਦੇਵਅਪਾਲ॥੧੦॥੧੯੦॥
(ਉਹ ਸਭ) ਦੀਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਬੰਧੂ, ਦਿਆਲੂ ਸੁਭਾ ਵਾਲਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਨਾ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਆਦਿ ਦੇਵ ਹੈ ॥੧੦॥੧੯੦॥
He is the friend of the poor, He is the beneficent Lord and patronless Primal Deity.10.190.
ਦੀਨਬੰਧੁਪ੍ਰਬੀਨਸ੍ਰੀਪਤਿਸਰਬਕੋਕਰਤਾਰ॥
(ਉਹ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਬੰਧੂ, ਪ੍ਰਬੀਨ, ਮਾਇਆ ਦਾ ਪਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਦਾ ਕਰਤਾ ਹੈ;
He, the adept Lord of maya, is the friend of the lowly and Creator of all.
ਬਰਨਚਿਹਨਨਚੱਕ੍ਰਜਾਕੋਚੱਕ੍ਰਚਿਹਨਅਕਾਰ॥
ਜਿਸ ਦਾ (ਕੋਈ) ਵਰਨ, ਚਿੰਨ੍ਹ-ਚੱਕਰ, ਮੁਹਾਂਦਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ;
He is without colour, mark and sign; He is without mark, sing and form.
ਜਾਤਿਪਾਤਿਨਗੋਤ੍ਰਗਾਥਾਰੂਪਰੇਖਨਬਰਨ॥
(ਜਿਸ ਦੀ) ਜਾਤਿ ਬਰਾਦਰੀ, ਗੋਤ ਦੀ (ਕੋਈ) ਗਾਥਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ (ਕੋਈ) ਰੂਪ ਰੇਖਾ ਜਾਂ ਵਰਨ ਹੈ;
He is without caste, lineage and story of descent; He is without form, line and colour.
ਸਰਬਦਾਤਾਸਰਬਗਯਾਤਾਸਰਬਭੂਅਕੋਭਰਨ॥੧੧॥੧੯੧॥
(ਉਹ) ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ, ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੀ ਭੂਮੀ ਦਾ ਪਾਲਣ ਪੋਸ਼ਣ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੧॥੧੯੧॥
He is the Donor and Knower of all and the Sustainer of all the universe. 11.191.
ਦੁਸਟਗੰਜਨਸੱਤ੍ਰੁਭੰਜਨਪਰਮਪੁਰਖੁਪ੍ਰਮਾਥ॥
(ਉਹ) ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ, ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ (ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦੇ ਸਮਰਥਾਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਕੁਚਲਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਪਰਮ ਪੁਰਖ ਹੈ।
He is the Destroyer of the tyrants and vanquisher of the enemies, and the Omnipotent Supreme Purusha.
ਦੁਸਟਹਰਤਾਸ੍ਰਿਸਟਕਰਤਾਜਗਤਮੈਜਿਹਗਾਥ॥
(ਉਹ) ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ, ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਦਾ ਕਰਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਕਥਾ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਹੈ।
He is Vanquisher of the tyrants and the Creator of the universe, and His Story is being narrated in the whole world.
ਭੂਤਭਬਿਭਵਿੱਖਭਵਾਨਪ੍ਰਮਾਨਦੇਵਅਗੰਜ॥
(ਉਹ) ਅਨਸ਼ਵਰ ਪਰਮ-ਸੱਤਾ ਭੂਤ, ਭਵਿਖ ਅਤੇ ਵਰਤਮਾਨ (ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਕਾਲਾਂ) ਤਕ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹੈ।
He, the Invincible Lord, is the same in the Past, Present and Future.
ਆਦਿਅੰਤਅਨਾਦਿਸ੍ਰੀਪਤਿਪਰਮਪੁਰਖਅਭੰਜ॥੧੨॥੧੯੨॥
ਅਤੇ (ਉਹ) ਆਦਿ ਤੋਂ ਅੰਤ ਤਕ ਅਨਾਦਿ, ਮਾਇਆ ਦਾ ਪਤੀ, ਨਾਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਪਰਮ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਹੈ ॥੧੨॥੧੯੨॥
He, the Lord of maya, the Immortal and unassailable Supreme Purusha, was there in the beginning and will be there at the end.12.192.
ਧਰਮਕੇਅਨਕਰਮਜੇਤਕਕੀਨਤਉਨਪਸਾਰ॥
ਧਰਮ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਮ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਬੰਧਿਤ ਹੋਰ ਜਿਤਨੇ ਕਰਮ ਹਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਸਾਰਾ (ਉਸੇ ਨੇ) ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ;
He hath spread all the other religious practices.
ਦੇਵਅਦੇਵਗੰਧ੍ਰਬਕਿੰਨਰਮੱਛਕੱਛਅਪਾਰ॥
ਅਪਾਰ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ, ਦੈਂਤਾ, ਗੰਦਰਬਾਂ, ਕਿੰਨਰਾਂ, ਮੱਛਾਂ, ਕੱਛਾਂ ਆਦਿ (ਦਾ ਰਚੈਤਾ ਵੀ ਉਹੀ ਹੈ)।
He hath Created innumerable gods, demons, Gandharvas, Kinnars, fish incarnations and tortoise incarnations.
ਭੂਮਅਕਾਸਜਲੇਥਲੇਮਹਿਮਾਨੀਐਜਿਹਨਾਮ॥
ਭੂਮੀ, ਆਕਾਸ਼, ਜਲ ਥਲ ਵਿਚ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਹੈ।
His Name is reverently repeated by the beings on earth, in sky, in water and on land.
ਦੁਸਟਹਰਤਾਪੁਸਟਕਰਤਾਸ੍ਰਿਸਟਿਹਰਤਾਕਾਮ॥੧੩॥੧੯੩॥
ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨਾ, (ਸਾਧੂ ਪੁਰਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਦ੍ਰਿੜ੍ਹ ਕਰਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ਼ ਕਰਨਾ (ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਕੰਮ ਹੈ ॥੧੩॥੧੯੩॥
His works include the decimation of tyrants, giving of strength (to the saints) and support to the world.13.193.
ਦੁਸਟਹਰਨਾਸ੍ਰਿਸਟਕਰਨਾਦਿਆਲਲਾਲਗੋਬਿੰਦ॥
(ਉਹ) ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ਼ਕ, ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਦਾ ਕਰਤਾ, ਦਿਆਲੂ ਅਤੇ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਹੈ।
The Beloved Merciful Lord is the Vanquisher of the tyrants and the Creator of the Universe.
ਮਿੱਤ੍ਰਪਾਲਕਸੱਤ੍ਰਘਾਲਕਦੀਨਦ੍ਯਾਲਮੁਕੰਦ॥
(ਉਹ) ਮਿਤਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ, ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ, ਦੀਨਦਿਆਲ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਕਤੀਦਾਤਾ ਹੈ।
He is the Sustainer of the friends and the slayer of the enemies.
ਅਘੌਦੰਡਣਦੁਸਟਖੰਡਣਕਾਲਹੂੰਕੇਕਾਲ॥
ਪਾਪੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੰਡ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ, ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੂਰ ਚੂਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਕਾਲ ਹੈ।
He, the Merciful Lord of the lowely, He is the punisher of the sinners and destroyer of the tyrants; He is the decimater even of death.
ਦੁਸਟਹਰਣੰਪੁਸਟਕਰਣੰਸਰਬਕੇਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲ॥੧੪॥੧੯੪॥
ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਦਾ ਦਮਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ, (ਭਲੇ ਪੁਰਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਪੁਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲਕ ਹੈ ॥੧੪॥੧੯੪॥
He is the Vanquisher of the tyrants, giver of strength (to the saints) and the Sustainer of all.14.194.
ਸਰਬਕਰਤਾਸਰਬਹਰਤਾਸਰਬਤੇਅਨਕਾਮ॥
(ਉਹ) ਸਭ ਦਾ ਕਰਤਾ, ਸਭ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ਼ਕ ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਾਮਨਾਵਾਂ (ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ)।
He is the Creator and Destroyer of all and the fulfiller of the desires of all.
ਸਰਬਖੰਡਣਸਰਬਦੰਡਣਸਰਬਕੇਨਿਜਭਾਮ॥
ਸਭ ਦਾ ਖੰਡਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ, ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਦੰਡ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਦਾ ਨਿਜੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ('ਭਾਮ') ਹੈ (ਅਰਥਾਤ ਸਭ ਵਿਚ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਜੋਤਿ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹੈ)।
He is the Destroyer and Punisher of all and also their personal Abode.
ਸਰਬਭੁਗਤਾਸਰਬਜੁਗਤਾਸਰਬਕਰਮਪ੍ਰਬੀਨ॥
ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਭੋਗਣ ਵਾਲਾ, ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਜੁਗਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਬੀਨ ਹੈ।
He is the enjoyer of all and is united with all, He is also an adept in all karmas ( actions)
ਸਰਬਖੰਡਣਸਰਬਦੰਡਣਸਰਬਕਰਮਅਧੀਨ॥੧੫॥੧੯੫॥
(ਉਹ) ਸਭ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ਼ਕ, ਸਭ ਦਾ ਦੰਡਕ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕਰਮ (ਉਸ ਦੇ) ਅਧੀਨ ਹਨ ॥੧੫॥੧੯੫॥
He is the Destroyer and Punisher of all and keeps all the works under His control.15.195.
ਸਰਬਸਿੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਨਸਰਬਸਾਸਤ੍ਰਨਸਰਬਬੇਦਬਿਚਾਰ॥
(ਉਹੀ) ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਸਮ੍ਰਿਤੀਆਂ, ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਾਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵੇਦਾਂ ਦਾ (ਸਮੁੱਚਾ) ਵਿਚਾਰ ਹੈ।
He is not within the contemplation of all the Smritis, all the Shastras and all the Vedas.
ਦੁਸਟਹਰਤਾਬਿਸ੍ਵਭਰਤਾਆਦਿਰੂਪਅਪਾਰ॥
ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ, ਜਗਤ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਪਾਰ ਆਦਿ ਰੂਪ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।
He, the Infinite Primal Entity is the Vanquisher of the tyrants and the Sustainer of the universe.
ਦੁਸਟਦੰਡਣਪੁਸਟਖੰਡਣਆਦਿਦੇਵਅਖੰਡ॥
(ਉਹ) ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੰਡ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਬਲਵਾਨਾਂ (ਪੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ) ਦਾ ਸੰਘਾਰਕ ਅਖੰਡ ਆਦਿ ਦੇਵ ਹੈ।
He, the Primal Indivisible Lord is the punisher of the tyrants and breaker of the ego of the mighty.
ਭੂਮਅਕਾਸਜਲੇਥਲੇਮਹਿਜਪਤਜਾਪਅਮੰਡ॥੧੬॥੧੯੬॥
ਧਰਤੀ, ਆਕਾਸ਼, ਜਲ, ਥਲ ਵਿਚ ਖ਼ੁਦ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੇ ('ਅਮੰਡ') ਦਾ ਜਾਪ ਜਪਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੬॥੧੯੬॥
The name of that Uninstalled Lord is being repeated by the beings of earth, sky, water and land.16.196.
ਸ੍ਰਿਸਟਾਚਾਰਬਿਚਾਰਜੇਤੇਜਾਨੀਐਸਬਚਾਰ॥
ਜਿਤਨੇ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਟਾਚਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਹਨ, ਵਿਚਾਰ ਪੂਰਵਕ ਸਮਝ ਲਈਏ ਕਿ (ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਉਸੇ ਵਿਚ ਸਥਿਤ ਹਨ)।
All the pious thoughts of the world known through the medium of knowledge.
ਆਦਿਦੇਵਅਪਾਰਸ੍ਰੀਪਤਿਦੁਸਟਪੁਸਟਪ੍ਰਹਾਰ॥
(ਉਹ) ਆਦਿ ਦੇਵ, ਅਪਾਰ, ਮਾਇਆ ਦਾ ਪਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।
They are all within that Infinite Primal Lord of maya, the Destroyer of mighty tyrants.
ਅੰਨਦਾਤਾਗਿਆਨਗਿਆਤਾਸਰਬਮਾਨਮਹਿੰਦ੍ਰ॥
(ਉਹ) ਅੰਨ-ਦਾਤਾ, ਗਿਆਨ ਕਰਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਮਾਣ ਹੈ।
He is the Donor of Sustenance, the Knower of Knowledge and the Sovereign revered by all.
ਬੇਦਬਿਆਸਕਰੇਕਈਦਿਨਕੋਟਿਇੰਦ੍ਰਉਪਿੰਦ੍ਰ॥੧੭॥੧੯੭॥
(ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਕਿਤਨੇ ਹੀ ਵੇਦ-ਵਿਆਸ, ਕਰੋੜਾਂ ਇੰਦਰ ਅਤੇ ਉਪੇਂਦਰ (ਬਾਵਨ ਅਵਤਾਰ) ਬਣਾਏ ਹਨ ॥੧੭॥੧੯੭॥
He hath Created many Ved Vyas and millions of Indras and other gods.17.197.
ਜਨਮਜਾਤਾਕਰਮਗਿਆਤਾਧਰਮਚਾਰਬਿਚਾਰ॥
(ਉਹ) ਜਨਮ-ਜਨਮਾਂਤਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਜਾਣਨ ਵਾਲਾ, ਕਰਮ-ਕਾਂਡਾਂ ਦਾ ਗਿਆਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਮ ਦਾ ਚੰਗਾ ਵਿਚਾਰਕ ਹੈ।
He is the cause of birth and knower of actions and notions of beauteous religious discipline.
ਬੇਦਭੇਵਨਪਾਵਈਸਿਵਰੁਦ੍ਰਔਰਮੁਖਚਾਰ॥
(ਜਿਸ ਦਾ) ਵੇਦ, ਸ਼ਿਵ, ਰੁਦ੍ਰ ਅਤੇ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਰਹੱਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣ ਸਕੇ,
But the Vedas, Shiva, Rudra and Brahma could not Know His mystery and the secret of His notions.
ਕੋਟਿਇੰਦ੍ਰਉਪਿੰਦ੍ਰਬਿਆਸਸਨਕਸਨਤਕੁਮਾਰ॥
ਕਰੋੜਾਂ ਇੰਦਰ, ਉਪੇਂਦਰ (ਬਾਵਨ ਅਵਤਾਰ) ਵਿਆਸ, ਸਨਕ-ਸੰਤ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਆਦਿ ਸਭ
Milions of Indras and other subordinate gods, Vyas, Sanak and Sanat Kumar.
ਗਾਇਗਾਇਥਕੇਸਭੈਗੁਨਚੱਕ੍ਰਤਭੇਮੁਖਚਾਰ॥੧੮॥੧੯੮॥
(ਉਸ ਦੇ) ਗੁਣ ਗਾ ਗਾ ਕੇ ਥਕ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੧੮॥੧੯੮॥
They and Brahma have got tired of singing His Praises in state of astonishment.18.198.
ਆਦਿਅੰਤਨਮਧਜਾਕੋਭੂਤਭੱਬਭਵਾਨ॥
(ਉਸ) ਦਾ ਆਦਿ, ਅੰਤ ਅਤੇ ਮੱਧ ਅਤੇ ਭੂਤ, ਭਵਿਖ ਅਤੇ ਵਰਤਮਾਨ (ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ)
He is devoid of beginning, middle and end and also of past, present and future.
ਸਤਿਦੁਆਪਰਤ੍ਰਿਤੀਆਕਲਿਜੁਗਚਤ੍ਰਕਾਲਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ॥
ਉਹ ਸਤਯੁਗ, ਦੁਆਪਰ, ਤ੍ਰੇਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਲਿਯੁਗ ਚੌਹਾਂ ਕਾਲਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਹੈ।
He is Supremely Pervasive in the four ages of Satyuga, Treta, Dvapara and Kaliyuga.
ਧਿਆਇਧਿਆਇਥਕੇਮਹਾਮੁਨਿਗਾਇਗੰਧ੍ਰਬਅਪਾਰ॥
ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਹਾ ਮੁਨੀ ਆਰਾਧਦੇ ਆਰਾਧਦੇ ਥਕ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਪਾਰ ਗੰਧਰਬ ਗਾ ਗਾ ਕੇ ਹਾਰ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
The great sages have got tired of meditating upon Him and also Infinite Gandharvas singing His Praises continuously.
ਹਾਰਿਹਾਰਿਥਕੇਸਭੈਨਹੀਂਪਾਈਐਤਿਹਪਾਰ॥੧੯॥੧੯੯॥
ਸਭ ਹਾਰ ਹਾਰ ਕੇ ਥਕ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਪਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾ ਸਕਿਆ ॥੧੯॥੧੯੯॥
All have gone weary and accepted defeat, but none could know His end.19.199.
ਨਾਰਦਆਦਿਕਬੇਦਬਿਆਸਕਮੁਨਿਮਹਾਨਅਨੰਤ॥
ਨਾਰਦ, ਵੇਦ-ਵਿਆਸ ਆਦਿ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਮਹਾਨ ਮੁਨੀ
The sage Narada and other, Ved Vyas and other and innumerable great sages;
ਧਿਆਇਧਿਆਇਥਕੇਸਭੈਕਰਕੋਟਿਕਸਟਦੁਰੰਤ॥
ਕਰੋੜਾਂ ਕਸ਼ਟ ਪੂਰਨ ਔਖੇ ਯਤਨ ਵਾਲੀ (ਉਸ ਦੀ) ਆਰਾਧਨਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਕਰਦੇ ਥਕ ਗਏ ਹਨ;
Practising millions of arduous hardships and meditations all have got tired.
ਗਾਇਗਾਇਥਕੇਗੰਧ੍ਰਬਨਾਚਅਪੱਛਰਅਪਾਰ॥
ਗਾ ਗਾ ਕੇ ਗੰਧਰਬ ਥਕ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਅਪੱਛਰਾਵਾਂ ਵੀ ਨਚ ਨਚ ਕੇ (ਥਕ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ)
Gandharvas have got tired by singing and countless Apsaras (heavenly damsels) by dancing.
ਸੋਧਿਸੋਧਿਥਕੇਮਹਾਸੁਰਪਾਇਓਨਹਿਪਾਰ॥੨੦॥੨੦੦॥
ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਦੇਵਤੇ (ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਲਭ ਲਭ ਕੇ ਥਕ ਗਏ ਹਨ, (ਪਰ ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਪਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾ ਸਕੇ ॥੨੦॥੨੦੦॥
The great gods have got tired in their continuous search, but they could not know His end.20.200.

ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਆਤਮਾ ਨੇ ਬੁੱਧੀ ਪ੍ਰਤਿ (ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ) ਬਚਨ ਕੀਤਾ
Once the Soul spoke these words to Intellect:
ਸਬਪ੍ਰਤਾਪਜਗਦੀਸਕੋਕਹੋਸਕਲਬਿਧਿਤੈਨ॥੧॥੨੦੧॥
ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ (ਉਸ) ਜਗਦੀਸ਼ ਦਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ (ਮੈਨੂੰ) ਦਸੋ ॥੧॥੨੦੧॥
"Describe to me in every way all he Glory of the Lord of the world." 1.201.
