ਅਕਾਲਹੈਅਪਾਲਹੈਖਿਆਲਹੈਅਖੰਡਹੈ॥
(ਉਹ) ਕਾਲ-ਰਹਿਤ, ਪਾਲਣਾ-ਰਹਿਤ ਹੈ, (ਉਹ) ਚਿੰਤਨ (ਦਾ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਣਾ) ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਅਖੰਡ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।
He is Non-temporal, Patronless, a Concept and Indivisible.
ਨਰੋਗਹੈਨਸੋਗਹੈਨਭੇਦਹੈਨਭੰਡਹੈ॥
(ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਨਾ ਰੋਗ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਸੋਗ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਰਹੱਸਪੂਰਨ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਨਸ਼ਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।
He is without ailment, without sorrow, without contrast and without slander.
ਨਅੰਗਹੈਨਰੰਗਹੈਨਸੰਗਹੈਨਸਾਥਹੈ॥
ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਾ (ਕੋਈ) ਅੰਗ (ਸ਼ਰੀਰ) ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਰੰਗ ਹੈ, ਨਾ (ਕੋਈ) ਸੰਗ-ਸਾਥ ਹੈ।
He is limbless, colourless, comradeless and companionless.
ਪ੍ਰਿਆਹੈਪਵਿਤ੍ਰਹੈਪੁਨੀਤਹੈਪ੍ਰਮਾਥਹੈ॥੧੨॥੧੭੨॥
(ਉਹ) ਪਿਆਰਾ ਹੈ, ਪਵਿਤਰ ਹੈ, ਸਵੱਛ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ (ਸਭ ਨੂੰ) ਅਧੀਨ ਰਖਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੨॥੧੭੨॥
He is Beloved, Sacred, Immaculate and the Subtle Truth. 12.172.
ਨਸੀਤਹੈਨਸੋਚਹੈਨਘ੍ਰਾਮਹੈਨਘਾਮਹੈ॥
(ਉਹ) ਨਾ ਸਰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਗਰਮੀ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਛਾਂ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਧੁਪ ਹੈ;
He neither chilly, nor sorrowful, nor shade nor sunshine.
ਨਲੋਭਹੈਨਮੋਹਹੈਨਕ੍ਰੋਧਹੈਨਕਾਮਹੈ॥
(ਉਹ) ਨਾ ਲੋਭ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਮੋਹ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਕਾਮਨਾ ਹੈ।
He is without greed, without attachment, without anger and without lust.
ਨਦੇਵਹੈਨਦੈਤਹੈਨਨਰਕੋਸਰੂਪਹੈ॥
(ਉਹ) ਨਾ ਦੇਵਤਾ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਦੈਂਤ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਪੁਰਖ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।
He is neither god nor demon nor in he form of a human being.
ਨਛਲਹੈਨਛਿਦ੍ਰਹੈਨਛਿਦ੍ਰਕੀਬਿਭੂਤਿਹੈ॥੧੩॥੧੭੩॥
(ਉਸ ਵਿਚ) ਨਾ ਕੋਈ ਛਲ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਛਿਦ੍ਰ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਨੁਕਸਾਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਵਿਭੂਤੀ (ਸੰਪੱਤੀ) ਹੈ ॥੧੩॥੧੭੩॥
He is neither deceit nor blemish nor the substance of slander. 13.173.
ਨਕਾਮਹੈਨਕ੍ਰੋਧਹੈਨਲੋਭਹੈਨਮੋਹਹੈ॥
(ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਨਾ ਕਾਮ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਲੋਭ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਮੋਹ ਹੈ,
He is without lust, anger, greed and attachment.
ਨਦ੍ਵੈਖਹੈਨਭੇਖਹੈਨਦੁਈਹੈਨਦ੍ਰੋਹਹੈ॥
ਨਾ ਦ੍ਵੈਸ਼ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਭੇਖ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਦੂਈ ਦਾ ਭਾਵ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਧੋਖਾ ਹੈ।
He is without malice, garb, duality and deception.
ਨਕਾਲਹੈਨਬਾਲਹੈਸਦੀਵਦਇਆਲਰੂਪਹੈ॥
(ਉਹ) ਨਾ ਕਾਲ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਬਾਲਕ ਹੈ, ਸਦਾ ਦਿਆਲੂ ਰੂਪ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।
He is deathless, childless and always Merciful Entity.
ਅਗੰਜਹੈਅਭੰਜਹੈਅਭਰਮਹੈਅਭੂਤਹੈ॥੧੪॥੧੭੪॥
(ਉਹ) ਅਗੰਜ ਹੈ, ਅਭੰਜ ਹੈ, ਭਰਮ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜ ਭੂਤਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਚਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੪॥੧੭੪॥
He is Indestructible, Invincible, Illusionless and Elementless. 14.174.
ਅਛੇਦਛੇਦਹੈਸਦਾਅਗੰਜਗੰਜਗੰਜਹੈ॥
(ਉਹ) ਸਦਾ ਅਛੇਦ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਛੇਦਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਨਾਸ਼ਕ ਹੈ।
He always assails the unassailable, He is the Destroyer of the Indestructible.
ਅਭੂਤਅਭੇਖਹੈਬਲੀਅਰੂਪਰਾਗਰੰਗਹੈ॥
ਤੱਤ੍ਵਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਰਾਗਰੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਰੂਪ-ਰਹਿਤ ਹੈ।
His Elementless Garb is Powerful, He is the Original Form of Sound and Colour.
ਨਦ੍ਵੈਖਹੈਨਭੇਖਹੈਨਕਾਮਕ੍ਰੋਧਕਰਮਹੈ॥
(ਉਸ ਵਿਚ) ਨਾ ਦ੍ਵੈਸ਼ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਭੇਖ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਕਾਮ, ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਅਤੇ ਕਰਮ ਹੈ।
He is without malice, garb, lust anger and action.
ਨਜਾਤਹੈਨਪਾਤਹੈਨਚਿੱਤ੍ਰਚਿਹਨਬਰਨਹੈ॥੧੫॥੧੭੫॥
(ਉਸ ਦੀ) ਨਾ (ਕੋਈ) ਜਾਤਿ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਬਰਾਦਰੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ (ਕੋਈ) ਚਿਤਰ, ਚਿੰਨ੍ਹ ਅਤੇ ਵਰਨ ਹੈ ॥੧੫॥੧੭੫॥
He is without caste, lineage, picture, mark and colour.15.175.
ਬਿਅੰਤਹੈਅਨੰਤਹੈਅਨੰਤਤੇਜਜਾਨੀਐ॥
(ਉਹ) ਬੇਅੰਤ ਹੈ, ਅਨੰਤ ਹੈ, (ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਬੇਅੰਤ ਤੇਜ ਵਾਲਾ ਜਾਣਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
He is Limitless, endless and be comprehended as consisting of endless Glory.
ਅਭੂਮਅਭਿੱਜਹੈਸਦਾਅਛਿੱਜਤੇਜਮਾਨੀਐ॥
(ਉਹ) ਖ਼ਾਕੀ (ਪਾਰਥਿਵ) ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, (ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਸਦਾ ਨਾ ਛਿਝਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਤੇਜ ਮੰਨਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
He is unearthly and unappeasable and be considered as consisting of unassailable Glory.
ਨਆਧਹੈਨਬਿਆਧਹੈਅਗਾਧਰੂਪਲੇਖੀਐ॥
(ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਨਾ ਮਾਨਸਿਕ ਰੋਗ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਸ਼ਰੀਰਕ ਰੋਗ ਹੈ; (ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਅਗਾਧ ਰੂਪ ਵਾਲਾ ਗਿਣਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
He is without the ailments of body and mind and be Known as the lord of Unfathomable form.
ਅਦੋਖਹੈਅਦਾਗਹੈਅਛੈਪ੍ਰਤਾਪਪੇਖੀਐ॥੧੬॥੧੭੬॥
(ਉਹ) ਦੋਖ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਹੈ, ਦਾਗ਼ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਹੈ, (ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਸਦਾ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਵਾਲਾ ਵੇਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੬॥੧੭੬॥
He is Without blemish and stain and be visualised as consisting of Indestructible Glory.16.176
ਨਕਰਮਹੈਨਭਰਮਹੈਨਧਰਮਕੋਪ੍ਰਭਾਉਹੈ॥
(ਉਸ ਵਿਚ) ਨਾ ਕਰਮ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਭਰਮ ਹੈ; (ਉਸ ਉਤੇ) ਨਾ ਧਰਮ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਹੈ।
He is beyond the impact of action, illusion and religion.
ਨਜੰਤ੍ਰਹੈਨਤੰਤ੍ਰਹੈਨਮੰਤ੍ਰਕੋਰਲਾਉਹੈ॥
ਉਹ ਨਾ ਯੰਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ, ਨਾ ਤੰਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਮੰਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਰਲਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
He is neither Yantra, nor Tantra nor a blend of slander.
ਨਛਲਹੈਨਛਿਦ੍ਰਹੈਨਛਿਦ੍ਰਕੋਸਰੂਪਹੈ॥
(ਉਹ) ਨਾ ਛਲ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਛਿਦ੍ਰ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਛਿਦ੍ਰ (ਨੁਕਸ) ਵਾਲਾ ਸਰੂਪ ਰਖਦਾ ਹੈ।
He is neither deceit, nor malice nor a form of slander.
ਅਭੰਗਹੈਅਨੰਗਹੈਅਗੰਜਸੀਬਿਭੂਤਹੈ॥੧੭॥੧੭੭॥
(ਉਹ) ਨਾਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ, ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਸੰਪਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੭॥੧੭੭॥
He is Indivisible, limbless and treasure of unending equipment.17.177.
ਨਕਾਮਹੈਨਕ੍ਰੋਧਹੈਨਲੋਭਮੋਹਕਾਰਹੈ॥
(ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਨਾ ਕਾਮ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਲੋਭ, ਮੋਹ ਅਤੇ ਹੰਕਾਰ ('ਕਾਰ') ਹੈ।
He is without the activity of lust, anger, greed and attachment.
ਨਆਧਹੈਨਗਾਧਹੈਨਬਿਆਧਕੋਬਿਚਾਰਹੈ॥
ਉਹ ਨਾ ਆਧਿ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਹੀ (ਕਿਸੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ਦੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਚਾਹ ('ਗਾਧ') ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਵਿਆਧਿ ਦਾ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਹੈ।
He, the Unfathomable Lord, is without the concepts of the ailments of the body and mind.
ਨਰੰਗਰਾਗਰੂਪਹੈਨਰੂਪਰੇਖਰਾਰਹੈ॥
(ਉਹ) ਨਾ ਰੰਗ, ਰਾਗ ਅਤੇ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਹੀ ਰੂਪਰੇਖਾ ਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਰੜਕ ਹੈ।
He is without affection for colour and form, He is without the dispute of beauty and line.
ਨਹਾਉਹੈਨਭਾਉਹੈਨਦਾਉਕੋਪ੍ਰਕਾਰਹੈ॥੧੮॥੧੭੮॥
(ਉਸ ਵਿਚ) ਨਾ ਹਾਵ-ਭਾਵ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਦਾਉ-ਪੇਚ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਢੰਗ ਹੈ ॥੧੮॥੧੭੮॥
He is without gesticulation and charm and any kind of deception. 18.178.
ਗਜਾਧਪੀਨਰਾਧਪੀਕਰੰਤਸੇਵਹੈਸਦਾ॥
(ਜਿਸ ਦੀ) (ਐਰਾਵਤ ਦਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ) ਇੰਦਰ ਅਤੇ (ਨਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ) ਕੁਬੇਰ ਸਦਾ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ;
Indra and Kuber are always at Thy service.
ਸਿਤਸੁਤੀਤਪਸਪਤੀਬਨਸਪਤੀਜਪਸਸਦਾ॥
(ਜਿਸ ਦਾ) ਚੰਦ੍ਰਮਾ ('ਸਿਤਸਪਤੀ') ਸੂਰਜ ਅਤੇ ਵਰੁਣ ਸਦਾ ਜਪ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ,
The moon, sun and Varuna ever repeat Thy Name.
ਅਗਸਤਆਦਿਜੇਬਡੇਤਪਸਪਤੀਬਿਸੇਖੀਐ॥
ਅਗਸਤ ਆਦਿ ਵੱਡੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤਪਸਵੀ
All the distinctive and great ascetics including Agastya etc;
ਬਿਅੰਤਬਿਅੰਤਬਿਅੰਤਕੋਕਰੰਤਪਾਠਪੇਖੀਐ॥੧੯॥੧੭੯॥
(ਸਭ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਬੇਅੰਤ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਵੇਖੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ ॥੧੯॥੧੭੯॥
See them reciting the Praises of the Infinite and Limitless Lord.19.179.
ਅਗਾਧਆਦਿਦੇਵਕੀਅਨਾਦਬਾਤਮਾਨੀਐ॥
ਉਸ ਅਗਾਧ, ਆਦਿ ਦੇਵ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ (ਬ੍ਰਿਤਾਂਤ) ਅਨਾਦਿ ਹੈ।
The discourse of that Profound and Primal Lord is without beginning.
ਨਜਾਤਪਾਤਮੰਤ੍ਰਮਿੱਤ੍ਰਸੱਤ੍ਰਸਨੇਹਜਾਨੀਐ॥
(ਉਸ ਦੀ) ਨਾ ਜਾਤਿ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਬਰਾਦਰੀ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਹੀ (ਉਸ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ) ਸਲਾਹਕਾਰ, ਮਿਤਰ, ਵੈਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਨੇਹੀ ਸਮਝਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
He hath no caste, lineage, adviser, friend, enemy and love.
ਸਦੀਵਸਰਬਲੋਕਕੇਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲਖਿਆਲਮੈਰਹੈ॥
(ਜੋ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ) ਸਦਾ ਸਭ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲੂ (ਪਰਮ ਸੱਤਾ) ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਵਿਚ ਰਖਦੇ ਹਨ,
I may always remain absorbed in the Beneficent Lord of all the worlds.
ਤੁਰੰਤਦ੍ਰੋਹਦੇਹਕੇਅਨੰਤਭਾਂਤਿਸੋਦਹੈ॥੨੦॥੧੮੦॥
(ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ) ਦੇਹ ਦੇ ਅਨੇਕ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੁਖ ਤੁਰਤ ਹੀ ਸੜ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੨੦॥੧੮੦॥
That Lord removes immediately all the infinite agonies of the body. 20.180.

(ਜਿਸ ਦਾ) ਰੂਪ, ਰਾਗ, ਰੇਖਾ ਅਤੇ ਰੰਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ (ਜੋ) ਜਨਮ-ਮਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਹੈ,
He is without form, affection, mark and colour and also without birth and death.
ਆਦਿਨਾਥਅਗਾਧਪੁਰਖਸੁਧਰਮਕਰਮਪ੍ਰਬੀਨ॥
(ਜੋ) ਮੁੱਢ-ਕਦੀਮ ਦਾ ਸਭ ਦਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ, ਅਗਾਧ ਪੁਰਖ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਮ ਕਰਮ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਬੀਨ ਹੈ;
He is the Primal Master, Unfathomable and All-Pervading Lord and also adept in pious actions.
ਜੰਤ੍ਰਮੰਤ੍ਰਨਤੰਤ੍ਰਜਾਕੋਆਦਿਪੁਰਖਅਪਾਰ॥
(ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ) ਯੰਤ੍ਰ, ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਅਤੇ ਤੰਤ੍ਰ ਆਦਿ (ਵਸ ਵਿਚ ਨਹੀਂ) ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਆਦਿ ਪੁਰਖ ਅਤੇ ਅਪਾਰ ਹੈ;
He is the Primal and Infinite Purusha without any Yantra, Mantra and Tantra.
ਹਸਤਕੀਟਬਿਖੈਬਸੈਸਭਠਉਰਮੈਨਿਰਧਾਰ॥੧॥੧੮੧॥
(ਜੋ) ਹਾਥੀ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਕੀੜੇ ਤਕ ਵਿਚ ਵਸਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਥਾਂਵਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਬਿਨਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਆਧਾਰ ਦੇ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹੈ ॥੧॥੧੮੧॥
He abides in both the elephant and the ant, and be considered living at all the places. 1.181.
ਜਾਤਿਪਾਤਿਨਤਾਤਜਾਕੋਮੰਤ੍ਰਮਾਤਨਮਿੱਤ੍ਰ॥
ਜਿਸ ਦੀ (ਕੋਈ) ਜਾਤਿ, ਬਰਾਦਰੀ, ਪਿਤਾ, ਮਾਤਾ, ਸਲਾਹਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਤਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ;
He is without caste, lineage, father, mother, adviser and friend.
ਸਰਬਠਉਰਬਿਖੈਰਮਿਓਜਿਹਚਕ੍ਰਚਿਹਨਨਚਿਤ੍ਰ॥
ਜੋ ਸਭ ਥਾਂਵਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਰਮਣ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਚਿੰਨ੍ਹ-ਚੱਕਰ ਅਤੇ ਸਰੂਪ ('ਚਿਤ੍ਰ') ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ;
He is All-Pervading, and without mark, sign and picture.
ਆਦਿਦੇਵਉਦਾਰਮੂਰਤਿਅਗਾਧਨਾਥਅਨੰਤ॥
(ਜੋ) ਆਦਿ-ਦੇਵ, ਉਦਾਰ ਸੁਭਾ ਵਾਲਾ, ਅਗਾਧ ਅਤੇ ਅਨੰਤ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹੈ;
He is the Primal Lord, beneficent Entity, Unfathomable and Infinite Lord.
ਆਦਿਅੰਤਨਜਾਨੀਐਅਬਿਖਾਦਦੇਵਦੁਰੰਤ॥੨॥੧੮੨॥
(ਜਿਸ ਦੇ) ਆਦਿ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਤ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ (ਅਤੇ ਜੋ) ਬਖੇੜਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਮੁਕਤ ਅਤੇ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਇਸ਼ਟ-ਦੇਵ ਹੈ ॥੨॥੧੮੨॥
His Beginning and End are unknown and He is far away from conflicts.2.182.
ਦੇਵਭੇਵਨਜਾਨਹੀਜਿਹਮਰਮਬੇਦਕਤੇਬ॥
ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਭੇਦ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਅਤੇ (ਨ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਰਹੱਸ ਵੇਦ ਅਤੇ ਕਤੇਬ ਪਾ ਸਕੇ ਹਨ।

ਸਨਕਔਸਨਕੇਸਨੰਦਨਪਾਵਹੀਨਹਸੇਬ॥
ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ('ਸਨਕੇਸ') ਸਨਕ, ਆਦਿ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਅਨੁਮਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਗਾ ਸਕੇ।

ਜੱਛਕਿੰਨਰਮੱਛਮਾਨਸਮੁਰਗਉਰਗਅਪਾਰ॥
ਯਕਸ਼, ਕਿੰਨਰ, ਮੱਛ, ਮਨੁੱਖ, ਪੰਛੀ ('ਮੁਰਗ') ਸੱਪ (ਆਦਿ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਭੇਦ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾ ਸਕੇ)
Also Yakshas, Kinnars, fishes, men and many beings and serpents of the nether-world.
ਨੇਤਿਨੇਤਿਪੁਕਾਰਹੀਸਿਵਸਕ੍ਰਔਮੁਖਚਾਰ॥੩॥੧੮੩॥
ਸ਼ਿਵ, ਇੰਦਰ ('ਸਕ੍ਰ') ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ (ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ) ਬੇਅੰਤ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੩॥੧੮੩॥
The gods Shiva, Indra and Brahma repeat 'Neti, Neti' about Him.3.183.
ਸਰਬਸਪਤਪਤਾਰਕੇਤਰਜਾਪਹੀਜਿਹਜਾਪ॥
ਸਾਰੇ ਸੱਤਾਂ ਪਾਤਾਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਜਾਪ ਜਪਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
All the beings of the seven nether-worlds down below repeats His Name.
ਆਦਿਦੇਵਅਗਾਧਿਤੇਜਅਨਾਦਮੂਰਤਿਅਤਾਪ॥
(ਉਹ) ਆਦਿ ਦੇਵ ਅਗਾਧ ਤੇਜ ਵਾਲਾ, ਅਨਾਦਿ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਦੁਖਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਹੈ,
He is the Primal Lord of Unfathomable Glory, the Beginningless and Anguishless Entity.
ਜੰਤ੍ਰਮੰਤ੍ਰਨਆਵਈਕਰਤੰਤ੍ਰਮੰਤ੍ਰਨਕੀਨ॥
(ਉਹ) ਯੰਤ੍ਰ, ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਨਾਲ ਹੱਥ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦਾ, ਤੰਤ੍ਰ-ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਨਾਲ ਵਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ।
He cannot be overpowered by Yantras and Mantras, He never yielded before Tantras and Mantras.
ਸਰਬਠਉਰਰਹਿਓਬਿਰਾਜਧਿਰਾਜਰਾਜਪ੍ਰਬੀਨ॥੪॥੧੮੪॥
(ਉਹ) ਸਭ ਦਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਥਾਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਬੀਨਤਾ-ਪੂਰਵਕ ਬਿਰਾਜਮਾਨ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੧੮੪॥
That superb Sovereign is All-Pervading and Scans all.4.184.
ਜੱਛਗੰਧ੍ਰਬਦੇਵਦਾਨੋਨਬ੍ਰਹਮਛੱਤ੍ਰੀਅਨਮਾਹਿ॥
(ਉਹ) ਯਕਸ਼ਾਂ, ਗੰਧਰਬਾਂ, ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ, ਦੈਂਤਾ, ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਾਂ, ਛਤ੍ਰੀਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ;
He is neither in Yakshas, Gandharvas, gods and demons, nor in Brahmins and Kshatriyas.
ਬੈਸਨੰਕੇਬਿਖੈਬਿਰਾਜੈਸੂਦ੍ਰਭੀਵਹਨਾਹਿ॥
ਉਹ ਵੈਸ਼ਣਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ੂਦਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਿਰਾਜਦਾ।
He is neither in Vaishnavas nor in Shudras.
ਗੂੜਗਉਡਨਭੀਲਭੀਕਰਬ੍ਰਹਮਸੇਖਸਰੂਪ॥
(ਉਹ) ਨਾ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਗੌੜ, ਭਿਆਨਕ ਭੀਲ ਅਤੇ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਤੇ ਸ਼ੇਖ ਦੇ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ ਹੈ।
He is neither in Rajputs, Gaurs and Bhils, nor in Brahmins and Sheikths.
ਰਾਤਿਦਿਵਸਨਮੱਧਉਰਧਨਭੂਮਅਕਾਸਅਨੂਪ॥੫॥੧੮੫॥
(ਉਹ) ਅਨੂਪਮ ਨਾ ਰਾਤ ਦਿਨ ਵਿਚ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਪਾਤਾਲ, ਧਰਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿਚ ਹੈ ॥੫॥੧੮੫॥
He is neither within night and day; He, the Unique Lord is also not within earth, sky and nether-world.5.185.
ਜਾਤਿਜਨਮਨਕਾਲਕਰਮਨਧਰਮਕਰਮਬਿਹੀਨ॥
(ਜਿਸ ਦੀ) ਨਾ ਜਾਤਿ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਜਨਮ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਮ੍ਰਿਤੂ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਕਰਮ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ (ਜੋ) ਨਾ ਧਰਮ-ਕਰਮ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਹੈ।
He is without caste, birth, death and action and also without the impact of religious rituals.
ਤੀਰਥਜਾਤ੍ਰਨਦੇਵਪੂਜਾਗੋਰਕੇਨਅਧੀਨ॥
(ਜੋ) ਤੀਰਥ-ਯਾਤ੍ਰਾ, ਦੇਵ-ਪੂਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੜ੍ਹੀ-ਮਸਾਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੂਜਾ ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ,
He is beyond the impact of pilgrimage, worship of deities and the sacrament of creation.
ਸਰਬਸਪਤਪਤਾਰਕੇਤਰਜਾਨੀਐਜਿਹਜੋਤ॥
ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਜੋਤਿ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੱਤਾਂ ਪਾਤਾਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਜਾਣੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
His Light Pervades in all the beings of the seven nether-worlds down below.
ਸੇਸਨਾਮਸਹੰਸ੍ਰਫਨਨਹਿਨੇਤਪੂਰਨਹੋਤ॥੬॥੧੮੬॥
ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਫਨਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਸ਼ੇਸ਼ਨਾਗ ਵੀ ਨਿਤ ਨਵੇਂ ਨਾਂਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ (ਉਸ ਦੇ) ਸਾਰੇ ਨਾਂ ਸਿਮਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੬॥੧੮੬॥
The Sheshananga with his thousand hoods repeats His Names, but still short of his efforts.6.186.
ਸੋਧਿਸੋਧਿਹਟੇਸਭੈਸੁਰਬਿਰੋਧਦਾਨਵਸਰਬ॥
ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਵਤੇ (ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਲਭ ਲਭ ਕੇ ਥਕ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੈਂਤ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ (ਹਾਰ ਗਏ ਹਨ)।
All the gods and demons have grown tired in His search.
ਗਾਇਗਾਇਹਟੇਗੰਧ੍ਰਬਗਵਾਇਕਿੰਨਰਗਰਬ॥
(ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਗਾਉਂਦੇ ਗਾਉਂਦੇ ਗੰਧਰਬ ਥਕ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਿੰਨਰ (ਵੀ ਵਾਜੇ ਵਜਾ ਵਜਾ ਕੇ) ਆਪਣਾ ਗੌਰਵ ਗੰਵਾ ਚੁਕੇ ਹਨ।
The ego of Gandharvas and Kinnars has been shattered by singing His Praises continuously.
ਪੜ੍ਹਤਪੜ੍ਹਤਥਕੇਮਹਾਕਬਿਗੜ੍ਹਤਗਾੜ੍ਹਅਨੰਤ॥
ਮਹਾ ਕਵੀ ਵੀ ਅਨੰਤ ਕਾਵਿ ਰਚ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੜ੍ਹ ਪੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਥਕ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
The great poets have become weary of reading and composing their innumerable epics.
ਹਾਰਿਹਾਰਿਕਹਿਓਸਭੂਮਿਲਿਨਾਮਨਾਮਦੁਰੰਤ॥੭॥੧੮੭॥
(ਪਰ) ਹਾਰ ਕੇ ਸਭ ਇਸ ਨਤੀਜੇ ਉਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ (ਉਸ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ) ਨਾਂਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਅੰਤ ਪਾ ਸਕਣਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਔਖਾ ਹੈ ॥੭॥੧੮੭॥
All have ultimately declared that the meditation on the Name of the Lord is a very hard task. 7.187.
ਬੇਦਭੇਦਨਪਾਇਓਲਖਿਓਨਸੇਬਕਤੇਬ॥
(ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਵੇਦਾਂ ਨੇ ਭੇਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਕਤੇਬਾਂ ਨੇ (ਉਸ) ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨ ਯੋਗ ਦਾ ਅੰਤ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਹੈ।
The Vedas have not been able to know His mystery and the Semitic Scriptures could not comprehend His service.
ਦੇਵਦਾਨੋਮੂੜਮਾਨੋਜਛਨਜਾਨੈਜੇਬ॥
ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਲ ('ਜੇਬ') ਨੂੰ ਯਕਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣ ਸਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਦੈਂਤ ਮਾਨੋ (ਜਾਣਨ ਦਾ ਯਤਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਕਰਦੇ) ਮੂਰਖ ਸਿੱਧ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹੋਣ।
The gods, demons and men are foolish and the Yakshas do not know His Glory.
ਭੂਤਭੱਬਭਵਾਨਭੂਪਤਆਦਿਨਾਥਅਨਾਥ॥
(ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ) ਭੂਤ, ਭਵਿਖ ਅਤੇ ਵਰਤਮਾਨ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਆਦਿ ਨਾਥ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਹੈ।
He is the king of past, present and future and Primal Master of the Masterless.
ਅਗਨਿਬਾਇਜਲੇਥਲੇਮਹਿਸਰਬਠਉਰਨਿਵਾਸ॥੮॥੧੮੮॥
(ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਅਗਨੀ, ਵਾਯੂ, ਜਲ, ਥਲ ਆਦਿ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਸਥਾਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵਾਸਾ ਹੈ ॥੮॥੧੮੮॥
He abides at all the places including fire, air, water and earth.8.188.
ਦੇਹਗੇਹਨਨੇਹਸਨੇਹਅਬੇਹਨਾਥਅਜੀਤ॥
(ਜਿਸ ਦਾ) ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਅਤੇ ਘਰ ਨਾਲ ਸਨੇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਅਜਿਤ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਵਿੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਜਾ ਸਕਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹੈ।
He hath no affection for body or love for home, He is Invincible and Unconquerable Lord.
ਸਰਬਗੰਜਨਸਰਬਭੰਜਨਸਰਬਤੇਅਨਭੀਤ॥
(ਜੋ) ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ, ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਤੋੜਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਦੇ ਡਰ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਹੈ।
He is Destroyer and defacer of all, He is without malice and Merciful to all.
ਸਰਬਕਰਤਾਸਰਬਹਰਤਾਸਰਬਦ੍ਯਾਲਅਦ੍ਵੇਖ॥
(ਜੋ) ਸਭ ਦਾ ਕਰਤਾ, ਸਭ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ਼ਕ, ਸਭ ਉਤੇ ਦਿਆਲੂ ਅਤੇ ਅਦ੍ਵੈਸ਼ ਹੈ।
He is Creator and Destroyer of all, He is without malice and Merciful to all.
