ਕਿਤੇ (ਤੁਸੀਂ) ਬਿਰਧ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਵਾਲੇ ਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਤੇ ਬਾਲਾਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਚੇਸ਼ਟਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਹੋ।

ਕਹੂੰਜੁਆਸਰੂਪੰਜਰਾਰਹਤਦੇਹੰ॥
ਕਿਤੇ (ਤੁਸੀਂ) ਜਵਾਨ ਰੂਪ ਵਾਲੇ ਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਤੇ ਬੁਢਾਪੇ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਵਾਲੇ ਹੋ।
Somewhere Thou art a youth sans an old body.
ਕਹੂੰਨੇਹਦੇਹੰਕਹੂੰਤਿਆਗਗ੍ਰੇਹੰ॥੨੪॥੧੧੪॥

ਕਿਤੇ ਜੋਗ ਨੂੰ ਭੋਗਦੇ ਹੋ (ਅਰਥਾਤ ਜੋਗ-ਸਾਧਨਾ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਰੋਗ ਰਖਦੇ ਹੋ) ਅਤੇ ਕਿਤੇ ਰੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਨਿਘ ਰਖਦੇ ਹੋ।
Somewhere Thou art engrossed in Yoga and enjoyment and somewhere Thou art experiencing ailment and attachment.
ਕਹੂੰਰੋਗਰਹਿਤਾਕਹੂੰਭੋਗਤਿਆਗੰ॥
ਕਿਤੇ ਰੋਗ ਹਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਤੇ ਭੋਗਾਂ ਦਾ ਤਿਆਗ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਹੋ।

ਕਿਤੇ (ਤੁਸੀਂ) ਰਾਜ ਦੀ ਵਿਦਿਆ ਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਤੇ (ਖੁਦ ਹੀ) ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀ ਹੋ ॥੨੬॥੧੧੬॥

(ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ!) ਨਾ ਤੂੰ ਡਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਤੋਂ ਪਕੜਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿਚ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਰੂਪ ਸਮਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।
Thou art Fearless, free from any bondage and Thou manifestest in all beings.

ਆਸਨਅਡੋਲਅਨਭੂਤਕਰਮ॥
(ਤੇਰਾ) ਆਸਣ ਅਡੋਲ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰਾ ਕਰਮ ਵਿਸਮਾਦੀ ਹੈ
Thy Seat is Stable and Thy actions are non-elemental.
ਦਾਤਾਦਇਆਲਅਨਭੂਤਧਰਮ॥੨॥੧੨੨॥
(ਤੂੰ) ਦਾਤਾ ਦਿਆਲੂ ਅਤੇ ਅਦਭੁਤ ਧਰਮ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ ॥੨॥੧੨੨॥
Thou art the Beneficent Donor and Thy religious discipline is Beyond the working of elements. 2.122.
ਜਿਹਸੱਤ੍ਰਮਿੱਤ੍ਰਨਹਿਜਨਮਜਾਤ॥
(ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੂੰ ਉਹ ਹੈਂ) ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਵੈਰੀ, ਮਿਤਰ, ਜਨਮ, ਜਾਤਿ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ,
Thou art that Ultimate Reality which is without enemy, friend, birth and caste,
ਜਿਹਪੁਤ੍ਰਭ੍ਰਾਤਨਹੀਂਮਿੱਤ੍ਰਮਾਤ॥
ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਭਰਾ, ਦੋਸਤ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ,
which is without son, brother, friend and mother.
ਜਿਹਕਰਮਭਰਮਨਹੀਂਧਰਮਧਿਆਨ॥
ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਕਰਮ, ਭਰਮ, ਧਰਮ ਅਤੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ,
Which is action less, Illusion less and without any consideration of religious disciplines;
ਜਿਹਨੇਹਗੇਹਨਹੀਂਬਿਓਤਬਾਨ॥੩॥੧੨੩॥
ਜੋ ਘਰ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਅਤੇ ਜੁਗਤਾਂ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਰੇ ਹੈ ॥੩॥੧੨੩॥
which is without love, home and beyond any thought-system. 3.123.
ਜਿਹਜਾਤਪਾਤਨਹੀਂਸੱਤ੍ਰਮਿੱਤ੍ਰ॥
ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਜਾਤਿ, ਬਰਾਦਰੀ, ਵੈਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਤਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ,
Which is without caste, line, enemy and friend.
ਜਿਹਨੇਹਗੇਹਨਹੀਂਚਿਹਨਚਿੱਤ੍ਰ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਪਕੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਕੋਈ ਚਿੰਨ੍ਹ-ਚਿਤਰ ਹੈ।
Which is without love, home, mark and picture.
ਜਿਹਰੰਗਰੂਪਨਹੀਂਰਾਗਰੇਖ॥
ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਰੰਗ, ਰੂਪ, ਪ੍ਰੇਮ, ਰੇਖਾ,
Which is without caste, line, enemy and friend.
ਜਿਹਜਨਮਜਾਤਨਹੀਂਭਰਮਭੇਖ॥੪॥੧੨੪॥
ਜਨਮ, ਜਾਤਿ ਅਤੇ ਭੇਖ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਭਰਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੧੨੪॥
Which is without is without birth, caste, illusion and guise. 4.124.
ਜਿਹਕਰਮਭਰਮਨਹੀਜਾਤਪਾਤ॥
ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ਕਰਮ, ਜਾਤਿ, ਬਰਾਦਰੀ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਭਰਮ ਭੁਲੇਖਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ,
Which is without action, delusion, caste and lineage.
ਨਹੀਨੇਹਗੇਹਨਹੀਪਿੱਤ੍ਰਮਾਤ॥
(ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ) ਘਰ, ਪਿਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਤਾ ਦਾ ਸਨੇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ;
Which is without love, home, father and mother.
ਜਿਹਨਾਮਥਾਮਨਹੀਬਰਗਬਿਆਧ॥
ਜੋ ਨਾਂ, ਥਾਂ, ਵਰਗ ਆਦਿ ਵੰਡੀਆਂ (ਦੇ ਬਖੇੜੇ) ਤੋਂ ਪਰੇ ਹੈ,
Which is without name, place, and also without species of maladies;
ਜਿਹਰੋਗਸੋਗਨਹੀਸਤ੍ਰਸਾਧ॥੫॥੧੨੫॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ (ਕੋਈ) ਰੋਗ-ਸੋਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਨਾ ਹੀ (ਕੋਈ) ਵੈਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਜਨ ਹੈ ॥੫॥੧੨੫॥
which is without ailment, sorrow, enemy and a saintly friend. 5.125.
ਜਿਹਤ੍ਰਾਸਵਾਸਨਹੀਦੇਹਨਾਸ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਡਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ (ਜਿਸ ਦੀ) ਦੇਹ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ।
Which never remains in fear and whose body is Indestructible;
ਜਿਹਆਦਿਅੰਤਨਹੀਰੂਪਰਾਸ॥
ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਨਾ ਕੋਈ ਆਦਿ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਅੰਤ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਦਾ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਹੈ।
which has no beginning, no end, no form and no outlay.
ਜਿਹਰੋਗਸੋਗਨਹੀਜੋਗਜੁਗਤਿ॥
ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ਨਾ ਰੋਗ, ਨਾ ਸੋਗ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਜੋਗ ਦੀ ਜੁਗਤ ਹੈ,
Which has no ailment, sorrow and no device of Yoga;
ਜਿਹਤ੍ਰਾਸਆਸਨਹੀਭੂਮਿਭੁਗਤਿ॥੬॥੧੨੬॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ (ਦੇ ਨਾ ਪੂਰਨ ਹੋ ਸਕਣ) ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਡਰ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਭੂਮੀ ਦੇ ਭੋਗਾਂ ਦੀ (ਕੋਈ ਲਾਲਸਾ ਹੈ) ॥੬॥੧੨੬॥
which has no fear, no hope, and no earthly enjoyment. 6.126.
ਜਿਹਕਾਲਬਿਆਲਕਟਿਓਨਅੰਗ॥
(ਤੂੰ ਉਹ ਹੈ) ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਲ ਰੂਪੀ ਸੱਪ ਨੇ ਡਸਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ,
Thou art That whose bodily limb hath never been stung by the serpent of death.
ਅੱਛੈਸਰੂਪਅਖੈਅਭੰਗ॥
ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਿਨਾਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ, ਖ਼ਤਮ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਘਨ ਤੋਂ ਮੁਕਤ ਹੈ,
Who is Unassailable Entity and Who is Indestructible and Imperishable.
ਜਿਹਨੇਤਨੇਤਉਚਰੰਤਬੇਦ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਦ ਬੇਅੰਤ-ਬੇਅੰਤ ਉਚਾਰਦੇ ਹਨ,
Whom the Vedas call 'Neti, Neti' (Not this, not this) and infinite.
ਜਿਹਅਲਖਰੂਪਕੱਥਤਕਤੇਬ॥੭॥੧੨੭॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਤੇਬਾਂ ਅਲੱਖ ਰੂਪ ਦਸਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ॥੭॥੧੨੭॥
Whom the Semitic Scriptures call Incompre-hensible.7.127.
ਜਿਹਅਲਖਰੂਪਆਸਨਅਡੋਲ॥
ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਰੂਪ ਅਲਖ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਆਸਣ ਅਡੋਲ ਹੈ,
Whose Form is Unknowable and Whose Seat is stable.
ਜਿਹਅਮਿਤਤੇਜਅਛੈਅਤੋਲ॥
ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਤੇਜ ਅਮਿਤ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਨਾਸ਼-ਰਹਿਤ ਅਤੇ ਅਤੋਲ ਹੈ।
Whose light is unlimited and who is Invincible and Unweighable.
ਜਿਹਧਿਆਨਕਾਜਮੁਨਿਜਨਅਨੰਤ॥
ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ (ਧਿਆਨ) ਲਈ
For Whose meditation and sight,
ਕਈਕਲਪਜੋਗਸਾਧਤਦੁਰੰਤ॥੮॥੧੨੮॥
ਕਈ ਕਲਪਾਂ ਤੋਂ (ਦੀਰਘ ਕਾਲ ਤੋਂ) ਬੇਅੰਤ ਮੁਨੀ ਲੋਕ ਕਠਿਨ ਯੋਗ-ਸਾਧਨਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ॥੮॥੧੨੮॥
infinite sages perform hard Yoga Practices for many kalpas (ages).8.128.
ਤਨਸੀਤਘਾਮਬਰਖਾਸਹੰਤ॥
(ਕਈ ਲੋਕ) ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਉਤੇ ਸਰਦੀ, ਗਰਮੀ ਅਤੇ ਬਰਖਾ ਸਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ,
For Thy realization they endure cold, heat and rain on their body.
ਕਈਕਲਪਏਕਆਸਨਬਿਤੰਤ॥
ਇਕੋ ਆਸਣ ਉਤੇ ਬੈਠਿਆਂ ਕਈ ਕਲਪ ਬਤੀਤ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ,
For many ages they remain in the same posture.
ਕਈਜਤਨਜੋਗਬਿੱਦਿਆਬਿਚਾਰ॥
ਅਨੇਕ ਯਤਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਜੋਗ ਵਿਦਿਆ ਨੂੰ-
They make many efforts and ruminate over the learning of Yoga.
ਸਾਧੰਤਤਦਪਿਪਾਵਤਨਪਾਰ॥੯॥੧੨੯॥
ਸਾਧਣ ਦੇ ਪਰ ਫਿਰ ਵੀ (ਤੇਰਾ) ਪਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾ ਸਕਦੇ ॥੯॥੧੨੯॥
They practice Yoga, but still they cannot know Thy end. 9.129.
ਕਈਉਰਧਬਾਹਦੇਸਨਭ੍ਰਮੰਤ॥
ਕਈ ਬਾਂਹਾਂ ਖੜੀਆਂ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਦੇਸ-ਦੇਸਾਂਤਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਘੁੰਮਦੇ ਹਨ,
Many wander in several countries with raised arms.
ਕਈਉਰਧਮਧਪਾਵਕਝੁਲੰਤ॥
ਕਈ ਮੂਧੇ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਅਗਨੀ ਵਿਚ ਲਟਕਦੇ ਹਨ,
Many burn their bodies upside down.
