ਯਯਾਜਾਰਉਦੁਰਮਤਿਦੋਊ॥
(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਭੈੜੀ ਮਤ ਤੇ ਮਾਇਆ ਦਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਸਾੜ ਦਿਉ,
YAYYA: Burn away duality and evil-mindedness.
ਤਿਸਹਿਤਿਆਗਿਸੁਖਸਹਜੇਸੋਊ॥
ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਸੁਖ ਵਿਚ ਅਡੋਲ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕੇ ਰਹੋਗੇ।
Give them up, and sleep in intuitive peace and poise.
ਯਯਾਜਾਇਪਰਹੁਸੰਤਸਰਨਾ॥
ਜਾ ਕੇ ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨੀ ਪਵੋ,
Yaya: Go, and seek the Sanctuary of the Saints;
ਜਿਹਆਸਰਇਆਭਵਜਲੁਤਰਨਾ॥
ਇਸੇ ਆਸਰੇ ਇਸ ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵਿਚੋਂ (ਸਹੀ ਸਲਾਮਤ) ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘ ਸਕੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
with their help, you shall cross over the terrifying world-ocean.
ਯਯਾਜਨਮਿਨਆਵੈਸੋਊ॥
ਉਹ ਮੁੜ ਮੁੜ ਜਨਮ ਵਿਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦਾ,
Yaya: One who weaves the One Name into his heart,
ਏਕਨਾਮਲੇਮਨਹਿਪਰੋਊ॥
ਜੇਹੜਾ ਬੰਦਾ ਇਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰੋ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
does not have to take birth again.
ਯਯਾਜਨਮੁਨਹਾਰੀਐਗੁਰਪੂਰੇਕੀਟੇਕ॥
ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਲਿਆਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾ ਜਨਮ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਂਦਾ।
Yaya: This human life shall not be wasted, if you take the Support of the Perfect Guru.
ਨਾਨਕਤਿਹਸੁਖੁਪਾਇਆਜਾਕੈਹੀਅਰੈਏਕ॥੧੪॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਇਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਵੱਸ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਤਮਕ ਆਨੰਦ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੧੪॥
O Nanak, one whose heart is filled with the One Lord finds peace. ||14||
ਸਲੋਕੁ॥
Shalok:
ਅੰਤਰਿਮਨਤਨਬਸਿਰਹੇਈਤਊਤਕੇਮੀਤ॥
ਲੋਕ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਦਾ ਸਾਥ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਤਨ ਵਿਚ ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਵੱਸ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
The One who dwells deep within the mind and body is your friend here and hereafter.
ਗੁਰਿਪੂਰੈਉਪਦੇਸਿਆਨਾਨਕਜਪੀਐਨੀਤ॥੧॥
ਗੁਰੂ ਜਿਸ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਨੇੜੇ ਵਿਖਾ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਐਸੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
The Perfect Guru has taught me, O Nanak, to chant His Name continually. ||1||

ਅਨਦਿਨੁਸਿਮਰਹੁਤਾਸੁਕਉਜੋਅੰਤਿਸਹਾਈਹੋਇ॥
ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਅਖ਼ੀਰ ਸਮੇ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖੋ।
Night and day, meditate in remembrance on the One who will be your Help and Support in the end.
ਇਹਬਿਖਿਆਦਿਨਚਾਰਿਛਿਅਛਾਡਿਚਲਿਓਸਭੁਕੋਇ॥
ਇਹ ਮਾਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਦਸ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਾਥਣ ਹੈ, ਹਰੇਕ ਜੀਵ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਥੇ ਹੀ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਤੁਰ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
This poison shall last for only a few days; everyone must depart, and leave it behind.
ਕਾਕੋਮਾਤਪਿਤਾਸੁਤਧੀਆ॥
ਮਾਂ ਪਿਉ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਧੀ ਕੋਈ ਭੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਸਾਥੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।
Who is our mother, father, son and daughter?
ਗ੍ਰਿਹਬਨਿਤਾਕਛੁਸੰਗਿਨਲੀਆ॥
ਘਰ ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਕੋਈ ਭੀ ਸ਼ੈ ਕੋਈ ਜੀਵ ਇਥੋਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ।
Household, wife, and other things shall not go along with you.
ਐਸੀਸੰਚਿਜੁਬਿਨਸਤਨਾਹੀ॥
(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਅਜਿਹੀ ਰਾਸਿ-ਪੂੰਜੀ ਇਕੱਠੀ ਕਰ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਕਦੇ ਨਾਸ ਨ ਹੋਵੇ,
So gather that wealth which shall never perish,
ਪਤਿਸੇਤੀਅਪੁਨੈਘਰਿਜਾਹੀ॥
ਤੇ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਘਰ ਵਿਚ ਜਾ ਸਕੇਂ, ਜਿਥੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਕੱਢ ਨ ਸਕੇ।
so that you may go to your true home with honor.
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿਕਲਿਕੀਰਤਨੁਗਾਇਆ॥
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਮਨੁੱਖਾ ਜਨਮ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਸਤ-ਸੰਗ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਕੀਤੀ,
In this Dark Age of Kali Yuga, those who sing the Kirtan of the Lord's Praises in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy
ਨਾਨਕਤੇਤੇਬਹੁਰਿਨਆਇਆ॥੧੫॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਉਹ ਮੁੜ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਦੇ ਗੇੜ ਵਿਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਏ ॥੧੫॥
- O Nanak, they do not have to endure reincarnation again. ||15||
ਸਲੋਕੁ॥
Shalok:
ਅਤਿਸੁੰਦਰਕੁਲੀਨਚਤੁਰਮੁਖਿਙਿਆਨੀਧਨਵੰਤ॥
ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਬੜੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ, ਚੰਗੀ ਕੁਲ ਵਾਲੇ, ਸਿਆਣੇ, ਗਿਆਨਵਾਨ ਤੇ ਧਨਵਾਨ ਬੰਦੇ ਭੀ ਹੋਣ,
He may be very handsome, born into a highly respected family, very wise, a famous spiritual teacher, prosperous and wealthy;
ਮਿਰਤਕਕਹੀਅਹਿਨਾਨਕਾਜਿਹਪ੍ਰੀਤਿਨਹੀਭਗਵੰਤ॥੧॥
ਪਰ ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਮੁਰਦੇ ਹੀ ਆਖੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ (ਭਾਵ, ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਮਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਆਤਮਾ ਵਾਲੇ) ॥੧॥
but even so, he is looked upon as a corpse, O Nanak, if he does not love the Lord God. ||1||

ਪਉੜੀ
Pauree:
ਙੰਙਾਖਟੁਸਾਸਤ੍ਰਹੋਇਙਿਆਤਾ॥
ਕੋਈ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਛੇ ਸ਼ਾਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਜਾਣਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੋਵੇ,
NGANGA: He may be a scholar of the six Shaastras.
ਪੂਰਕੁਕੁੰਭਕਰੇਚਕਕਰਮਾਤਾ॥
(ਪ੍ਰਾਣਾਯਾਮ ਦੇ ਅੱਭਿਆਸ ਵਿਚ) ਸੁਆਸ ਉਪਰ ਚਾੜ੍ਹਨ, ਰੋਕ ਰੱਖਣ ਅਤੇ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਉਤਾਰਨ ਦੇ ਕਰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ,
He may practice inhaling, exhaling and holding the breath.
ਙਿਆਨਧਿਆਨਤੀਰਥਇਸਨਾਨੀ॥
ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਚਰਚਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ, ਸਮਾਧੀਆਂ ਲਾਂਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ, ਤੀਰਥਾਂ ਦਾ ਇਸ਼ਨਾਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ,
He may practice spiritual wisdom, meditation, pilgrimages to sacred shrines and ritual cleansing baths.
ਸੋਮਪਾਕਅਪਰਸਉਦਿਆਨੀ॥
(ਸੁੱਚ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਾਤਰ) ਆਪਣੀ ਹੱਥੀਂ ਰੋਟੀ ਪਕਾਂਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ, ਜੰਗਲਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ,
He may cook his own food, and never touch anyone else's; he may live in the wilderness like a hermit.
ਰਾਮਨਾਮਸੰਗਿਮਨਿਨਹੀਹੇਤਾ॥
ਪਰ ਜੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਪਿਆਰ ਨਹੀਂ,
But if he does not enshrine love for the Lord's Name within his heart,
ਜੋਕਛੁਕੀਨੋਸੋਊਅਨੇਤਾ॥
ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਕੀਤਾ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਹੀ ਕੀਤਾ।
then everything he does is transitory.
ਉਆਤੇਊਤਮੁਗਨਉਚੰਡਾਲਾ॥
ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਇਕ ਨੀਵੀਂ ਜਾਤਿ ਦੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਹਾਂ,
Even an untouchable pariah is superior to him,
ਨਾਨਕਜਿਹਮਨਿਬਸਹਿਗੁਪਾਲਾ॥੧੬॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ) ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੱਸਦੇ ॥੧੬॥
O Nanak, if the Lord of the World abides in his mind. ||16||
ਸਲੋਕੁ॥
Shalok:
ਕੁੰਟਚਾਰਿਦਹਦਿਸਿਭ੍ਰਮੇਕਰਮਕਿਰਤਿਕੀਰੇਖ॥
ਜੀਵ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੰਸਕਾਰਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਚਹੁੰ ਤਰਫ਼ਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਦਸਾਂ ਦਿਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਭਟਕਦੇ ਹਨ।
He wanders around in the four quarters and in the ten directions, according to the dictates of his karma.
ਸੂਖਦੂਖਮੁਕਤਿਜੋਨਿਨਾਨਕਲਿਖਿਓਲੇਖ॥੧॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਲਿਖੇ ਲੇਖ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਹੀ ਸੁਖ ਦੁਖ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਜਾਂ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਦੇ ਗੇੜ ਮਿਲਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੧॥
Pleasure and pain, liberation and reincarnation, O Nanak, come according to one's pre-ordained destiny. ||1||
ਪਵੜੀ॥
ਪਵੜੀ
Pauree:
ਕਕਾਕਾਰਨਕਰਤਾਸੋਊ॥
ਕਰਤਾਰ ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਜਗਤ ਦੀ ਕਾਰ ਦਾ) ਸਬਬ ਬਣਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।
KAKKA: He is the Creator, the Cause of causes.
ਲਿਖਿਓਲੇਖੁਨਮੇਟਤਕੋਊ॥
ਕੋਈ ਜੀਵ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਲਿਖੇ ਲੇਖ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਟਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ।
No one can erase His pre-ordained plan.
ਨਹੀਹੋਤਕਛੁਦੋਊਬਾਰਾ॥
ਕੋਈ ਕੰਮ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਜੀ ਵਾਰੀ (ਠੀਕ ਕਰ ਕੇ) ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਾ ਪੈਂਦਾ।
Nothing can be done a second time.
ਕਰਨੈਹਾਰੁਨਭੂਲਨਹਾਰਾ॥
ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰ ਭੁੱਲਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, (ਜੇਹੜਾ ਭੀ ਕੰਮ ਉਹ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਵਿਚ ਗ਼ਲਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਂਦੀ।)
The Creator Lord does not make mistakes.
ਕਾਹੂਪੰਥੁਦਿਖਾਰੈਆਪੈ॥
ਕਿਸੇ ਜੀਵ ਨੂੰ ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦਾ ਸਹੀ) ਰਸਤਾ ਵਿਖਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
To some, He Himself shows the Way.
ਕਾਹੂਉਦਿਆਨਭ੍ਰਮਤਪਛੁਤਾਪੈ॥
ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਜੰਗਲ ਵਿਚ ਭਟਕਾ ਕੇ ਪਛੁਤਾਵੇ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਪਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
While He causes others to wander miserably in the wilderness.
ਆਪਨਖੇਲੁਆਪਹੀਕੀਨੋ॥
ਇਹ ਸਾਰਾ ਜਗਤ-ਖੇਲ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ।
He Himself has set His own play in motion.
ਜੋਜੋਦੀਨੋਸੁਨਾਨਕਲੀਨੋ॥੧੭॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਉਹ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੭॥
Whatever He gives, O Nanak, that is what we receive. ||17||
ਸਲੋਕੁ॥
Shalok:
ਖਾਤਖਰਚਤਬਿਲਛਤਰਹੇਟੂਟਿਨਜਾਹਿਭੰਡਾਰ॥
(ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਾਸ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦੇ ਇਤਨੇ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨੇ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ) ਉਹ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਂਦੇ ਖ਼ਰਚਦੇ ਮਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਕਦੇ ਮੁੱਕਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ,
People continue to eat and consume and enjoy, but the Lord's warehouses are never exhausted.
ਹਰਿਹਰਿਜਪਤਅਨੇਕਜਨਨਾਨਕਨਾਹਿਸੁਮਾਰ॥੧॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਅਜਿਹੇ) ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਜੀਵ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ ॥੧॥
So many chant the Name of the Lord, Har, Har; O Nanak, they cannot be counted. ||1||

ਖਖਾਖੂਨਾਕਛੁਨਹੀਤਿਸੁਸੰਮ੍ਰਥਕੈਪਾਹਿ॥
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਸਭ ਤਾਕਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਾਸ ਕਿਸੇ ਚੀਜ਼ ਦੀ ਕਮੀ ਨਹੀਂ।
KHAKHA: The All-powerful Lord lacks nothing;
ਜੋਦੇਨਾਸੋਦੇਰਹਿਓਭਾਵੈਤਹਤਹਜਾਹਿ॥
ਉਸ ਦੇ ਭਗਤ ਜਨ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਵਿਚ ਤੁਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
whatever He is to give, He continues to give - let anyone go anywhere he pleases.
ਖਰਚੁਖਜਾਨਾਨਾਮਧਨੁਇਆਭਗਤਨਕੀਰਾਸਿ॥
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ-ਧਨ ਭਗਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਾਸਿ-ਪੂੰਜੀ ਹੈ, ਇਸੇ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨੇ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਸਦਾ ਵਰਤਦੇ ਹਨ।
The wealth of the Naam, the Name of the Lord, is a treasure to spend; it is the capital of His devotees.
ਖਿਮਾਗਰੀਬੀਅਨਦਸਹਜਜਪਤਰਹਹਿਗੁਣਤਾਸ॥
ਉਹ ਸਦਾ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨੇ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਮਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਖਿਮਾ ਨਿੰਮ੍ਰਤਾ, ਆਤਮਕ ਆਨੰਦ ਤੇ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ (ਆਦਿਕ ਗੁਣ ਪਲਰਦੇ ਹਨ)।
With tolerance, humility, bliss and intuitive poise, they continue to meditate on the Lord, the Treasure of excellence.
ਖੇਲਹਿਬਿਗਸਹਿਅਨਦਸਿਉਜਾਕਉਹੋਤਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲ॥
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਆਤਮਕ ਆਨੰਦ ਨਾਲ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀ ਖੇਡ ਖੇਡਦੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਸਦਾ ਖਿੜੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Those, unto whom the Lord shows His Mercy, play happily and blossom forth.
ਸਦੀਵਗਨੀਵਸੁਹਾਵਨੇਰਾਮਨਾਮਗ੍ਰਿਹਿਮਾਲ॥
ਉਹ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਧਨਾਢ ਹਨ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਚਮਕਦੇ ਹਨ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ-ਘਰ ਵਿਚ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਨਾਮ-ਧਨ ਹੈ।
Those who have the wealth of the Lord's Name in their homes are forever wealthy and beautiful.
ਖੇਦੁਨਦੂਖੁਨਡਾਨੁਤਿਹਜਾਕਉਨਦਰਿਕਰੀ॥
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮਿਹਰ ਦੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਕਲੇਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ, ਕੋਈ ਦੁੱਖ ਨਹੀਂ (ਜੀਵਨ-ਵਣਜ ਵਿਚ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ) ਚੱਟੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਪਦੀ।
Those who are blessed with the Lord's Glance of Grace suffer neither torture, nor pain, nor punishment.
ਨਾਨਕਜੋਪ੍ਰਭਭਾਣਿਆਪੂਰੀਤਿਨਾਪਰੀ॥੧੮॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜੇਹੜੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੇ ਲਗਦੇ ਹਨ, (ਜੀਵਨ-ਵਣਜ ਵਿਚ) ਉਹ ਕਾਮਯਾਬ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੧੮॥
O Nanak, those who are pleasing to God become perfectly successful. ||18||
