ਰਥੰਬਿਸਟਤੰਬਯਾਘ੍ਰਚਰਮੰਅਭੀਤੰ॥
ਸ਼ੇਰ ਦੀ ਖਲ੍ਹ ਨਾਲ ਰਥ ਮੜ੍ਹਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਭੈ-ਰਹਿਤ ਹੈ,
ਤਿਸੈਨਾਥਜਾਨੋਹਠੀਇੰਦ੍ਰਜੀਤੰ॥੩੯੯॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਥ! ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹੱਠੀ 'ਇੰਦਰਜੀਤ' (ਮੇਘਨਾਦ) ਜਾਣ ਲਵੋ ॥੩੯੯॥
And who is sitting on the lion-skin fearlessly in the chariot, O Lord, he is the persistent Inderjit (Meghand).399.
ਨਹੈਪਿੰਗਬਾਜੀਰਥੰਜੇਨਸੋਭੈਂ॥
ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਰਥ ਨੂੰ ਭੂਰੇ ਰੰਗ ਦੇ ਘੋੜੇ ਜੁਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਸ਼ੋਭਦੇ ਹਨ,
ਮਹਾਕਾਇਪੇਖੇਸਭੈਦੇਵਛੋਭੈਂ॥
ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਦੇਹ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਭੈ-ਭੀਤ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ,
He, with whose chariot there are brown horses and seeing whose broad body even the gods become fearful
ਹਰੇਸਰਬਗਰਬੰਧਨੰਪਾਲਦੇਵੰ॥
ਜੋ ਵੱਡੇ ਧਨੁਸ਼ਧਾਰੀ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਗਰਬ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ,
ਮਹਾਕਾਇਨਾਮਾਮਹਾਬੀਰਜੇਵੰ॥੪੦੦॥
(ਹੇ ਨਾਥ!) ਉਸ ਮਹਾਂਬੀਰ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ 'ਮਹਾਂਕਾਇ' ਹੈ ॥੪੦੦॥
And who has mashed the pride of all the gods, he is known as broad-bodies Kumbhkaran.400.
ਲਗੇਮਯੂਰਬਰਣੰਰਥੰਜੇਨਬਾਜੀ॥
ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਰਥ ਨਾਲ ਮੋਰ ਦੇ ਰੰਗ ਵਰਗੇ ਘੋੜੇ ਲੱਗੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ,
ਬਕੈਮਾਰਮਾਰੰਤਜੈਬਾਣਰਾਜੀ॥
ਜੋ ਮੂੰਹ ਤੋਂ ਮਾਰੋ-ਮਾਰੋ ਬਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੀਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਝੜੀ ਲਗਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ,
The chariot with which the peacock-coloured horses are harnessed and who is showering arrows alongwith his shouts of “Kill, Kill”,
ਮਹਾਜੁਧਕੋਕਰਮਹੋਦਰਬਖਾਨੋ॥
ਉਹਨੂੰ ਵੱਡਾ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ 'ਮਹੋਦਰ' ਸਮਝੋ
ਤਿਸੈਜੁਧਕਰਤਾਬਡੋਰਾਮਜਾਨੋ॥੪੦੧॥
ਹੇ ਰਾਮ! ਜੋ ਮਹਾਂ ਯੁੱਧ ਦੀ ਖਾਣ ਹੈ ॥੪੦੧॥
O Ram! his name is Mahodar and should be considered a very great warrior.401.
ਲਗੇਮੁਖਕੰਬਰਣਬਾਜੀਰਥੇਸੰ॥
ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਰਥ ਅੱਗੇ ਚੂਹੇ ਰੰਗੇ ਘੋੜੇ ਲੱਗੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ,
ਹਸੈਪਉਨਕੇਗਉਨਕੋਚਾਰਦੇਸੰ॥
ਜੋ ਚੌਹਾਂ ਦਿਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੌਣ ਦੀ ਚਾਲ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਹਾਸਾ ਉਡਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ,
The chariot with which the white horses like the face are harnessed, and who, in gait, put the wind to shame
ਧਰੇਬਾਣਪਾਣੰਕਿਧੋਕਾਲਰੂਪੰ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੀਰ ਫੜਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਕਾਲ ਦਾ ਹੀ ਰੂਪ ਹੈ,
ਤਿਸੈਰਾਮਜਾਨੋਸਹੀਦਈਤਭੂਪੰ॥੪੦੨॥
ਹੇ ਰਾਮ! ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਹੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਦੈਂਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ (ਰਾਵਣ) ਸਮਝੋ ॥੪੦੨॥
And who seems like death (KAL), catching hold of his arrows in his hand, O Ram! consider him as Ravana, the king of demons.402.
ਫਿਰੈਮੋਰਪੁਛੰਢੁਰੈਚਉਰਚਾਰੰ॥
ਜਿਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਮੋਰ ਦੇ ਖੰਭਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਚੌਰ ਝੁਲਦਾ ਹੈ,
ਰੜੈਕਿਤਬੰਦੀਅਨੰਤੰਅਪਾਰੰ॥
ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਬੰਦੀ-ਜਨ ਯਸ਼ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ,
He, on whom the fly-whisk of the feathers of a peacock is being waved and before whom many people many people are standing in the posture of salutation
ਰਥੰਸੁਵਰਣਕੀਕਿੰਕਣੀਚਾਰਸੋਹੈ॥
ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਰਥ ਨੂੰ ਸੋਨੇ ਦੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਘੁੰਘਰੂ ਲੱਗੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ,
ਲਖੇਦੇਵਕੰਨਿਆਮਹਾਤੇਜਮੋਹੈ॥੪੦੩॥
ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਮਹਾਂ ਤੇਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖ ਕੇ ਦੇਵ-ਕੰਨਿਆਵਾਂ ਮੋਹਿਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ॥੪੦੩॥
He whose chariot the small bells of gold seem impressive and seeing whom the daughter of gods are getting enamoured.403.
ਛਕੈਮਧਜਾਕੀਧੁਜਾਸਾਰਦੂਲੰ॥
ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਝੰਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੱਬਰ ਸ਼ੇਰ (ਦਾ ਚਿੰਨ੍ਹ) ਲੱਗਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਸ਼ੋਭ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ,
ਇਹੈਦਈਤਰਾਜੰਦੁਰੰਦ੍ਰੋਹਮੂਲੰ॥
ਇਹੋ ਹੀ ਬੁਰਿਆਈ ਅਤੇ ਦਗ਼ੇ ਦੀ ਜੜ੍ਹ ਅਤੇ ਦੈਂਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਰਾਵਣ ਹੈ।
In the centre of whose banner there is the sign of a lion, he is Ravana, the king of demons and has ill-will for Ram in his mind
ਲਸੈਕ੍ਰੀਟਸੀਸੰਕਸੈਚੰਦ੍ਰਭਾਕੋ॥
ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਉੱਪਰ ਮੁਕਟ ਚਮਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਚੰਦਰਮਾ ਦੀ ਚਮਕ ਨੂੰ ਫਿੱਕਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ,
ਰਮਾਨਾਥਚੀਨੋਦਸੰਗ੍ਰੀਵਤਾਕੋ॥੪੦੪॥
ਹੇ ਰਮਾ-ਨਾਥ! ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦਸਾਂ ਸਿਰਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ (ਰਾਵਣ) ਪਛਾਣ ਲਵੋ ॥੪੦੪॥
He on whose crown there are the moon and the sun, O all-filling Lord! Recognise him, is the ten-headed Ravana.404.
ਦੁਹੂੰਓਰਬਜੇਬਜੰਤ੍ਰੰਅਪਾਰੰ॥
ਦੋਹਾਂ ਪਾਸਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਅਪਾਰਾਂ ਵਾਜੇ ਵੱਜਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਏ,
ਮਚੇਸੂਰਬੀਰੰਮਹਾਸਸਤ੍ਰਧਾਰੰ॥
ਜਿਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰਧਾਰੀ ਸੂਰਵੀਰ ਮਸਤ ਹੋ ਗਏ।
Many instruments began to resound form both sides and the warriors began to shower the current of great weapons.
ਕਰੈਅਤ੍ਰਪਾਤੰਨਿਪਾਤੰਤਸੂਰੰ॥
(ਉਹ) ਅਸਤ੍ਰ ਨੂੰ ਚਲਾ ਕੇ ਸੂਰਮਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰੀ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਉਠੇਮਧਜੁਧੰਕਮਧੰਕਰੂਰੰ॥੪੦੫॥
ਯੁੱਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਧੜ ਉਠ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ॥੪੦੫॥
The arms were struck and the warriors fell and in this war the terrible headless trunks arose and moved.405
ਗਿਰੈਰੁੰਡਮੁੰਡੰਭਸੁੰਡੰਅਪਾਰੰ॥
ਅਪਾਰਾਂ ਹੀ ਧੜ, ਸਿਰ ਅਤੇ ਸੁੰਡ ਡਿੱਗੇ ਪਏ ਹਨ।
ਰੁਲੇਅੰਗਭੰਗੰਸਮੰਤੰਲੁਝਾਰੰ॥
ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਹੀ ਜੁਝਾਰੂ ਯੋਧਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਕਟੇ ਹੋਏ ਅੰਗ ਰੁਲ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
The trunks, the heads and the trunks of elephants began to fall, and the chopped limas of the groups of warriors rolled in dust
ਪਰੀਕੂਹਜੂਹੰਉਠੇਗਦਸਦੰ॥
ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੂਕਾਂ ਪੈ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਜਿਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਨਾਦ ਉਠਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਜਕੇਸੂਰਬੀਰੰਛਕੇਜਾਣਮਦੰ॥੪੦੬॥
ਸੂਰਬੀਰ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਖੂਬ ਜੁੱਟੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ, ਜਾਣੋ ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਨਾਲ ਮਸਤ ਹੋਣ ॥੪੦੬॥
There were terrible and shouts in the battlefield and it appeared tehat having been intoxicated the warriors were swinging.406.
ਗਿਰੇਝੂਮਭੂਮੰਅਘੂਮੇਤਿਘਾਯੰ॥
ਸੂਰਵੀਰ ਘਾਉ ਖਾਣ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਘੁਮੇਰੀ ਖਾ ਕੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਡਿੱਗ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਉਠੇਗਦਸਦੰਚੜੇਚਉਪਚਾਯੰ॥
ਭਿਆਨਕ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਸੂਰਮਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਚਿੱਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਾਉ ਚੜ੍ਹਦਾ ਹੈ।
The wounded groups of warriors are swinging and being bewildered on falling on the earth and with double zeal they are getting up and striking with their maces.
ਜੁਝੈਬੀਰਏਕੰਅਨੇਕੰਪ੍ਰਕਾਰੰ॥
(ਕਈ) ਇਕ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਅਨੇਕ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੜ-ਲੜ ਕੇ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਕਟੇਅੰਗਜੰਗੰਰਟੈਂਮਾਰਮਾਰੰ॥੪੦੭॥
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੰਗ ਕੱਟੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ, (ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਮੂੰਹੋਂ) ਮਾਰੋ-ਮਾਰੋ ਬੋਲਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੪੦੭॥
The warriors have begun the war in many way, the chopped limbs are falling, even then the warriors are shouting “Kill, Kill”.407.
ਛੁਟੈਬਾਣਪਾਣੰਉਠੈਂਗਦਸਦੰ॥
(ਸੂਰਮਿਆਂ ਦੇ) ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਤੀਰ ਛੁੱਟਦੇ ਹਨ, (ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ) ਭਿਆਨਕ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਨਿਕਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਰੁਲੇਝੂਮਭੂਮੰਸੁਬੀਰੰਬਿਹਦੰ॥
ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਬੇਹੱਦ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਘੁਮੇਰੀ ਖਾ ਕੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਰੁਲਦੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
A dreadful sound is created with the discharge of arrows and the large-bodies warriors’ fall on the ground while swinging
ਨਚੇਜੰਗਰੰਗੰਤਤਥਈਤਤਥਿਯੰ॥
ਯੁੱਧ ਦੇ ਰੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਸਤ ਹੋਏ ਧਮਾਰ ਪਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਛੁਟੈਬਾਨਰਾਜੀਫਿਰੈਛੂਛਹਥਿਯੰ॥੪੦੮॥
ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਰੱਸੀਆਂ (ਲਗਾਮਾਂ) ਛੁੱਟ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਖਾਲੀ ਫਿਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ॥੪੦੮॥
All are dancing to the tune of music in the fighting and many are roaming hither and thither, becoming empty-handed with the discharge of arrows.408.
ਗਿਰੇਅੰਕੁਸੰਬਾਰਣੰਬੀਰਖੇਤੰ॥
ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਈ ਅੰਕੁਸ਼, ਹਾਥੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਰਵੀਰ ਡਿੱਗੇ ਪਏ ਹਨ।
ਨਚੇਕੰਧਹੀਣੰਕਬੰਧੰਅਚੇਤੰ॥
ਸਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਧੜ ਬੇਸੁਧ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਨੱਚ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
The lances destroying the warriors are falling down and the unconscious headless trunks are dancing in the battlefield
ਭਰੈਂਖੇਚਰੀਪਤ੍ਰਚਉਸਠਚਾਰੀ॥
ਅਠਾਹਠ (ਚੌਂਸਠ ਅਤੇ ਚਾਰ) ਜੋਗਣਾਂ ਲਹੂ ਦੇ) ਖੱਪਰ ਭਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਚਲੇਸਰਬਆਨੰਦਿਹੁਐਮਾਸਹਾਰੀ॥੪੦੯॥
ਸਾਰੇ ਮਾਸ ਖਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਜੀਵ ਆਨੰਦਿਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਚਲੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ॥੪੦੯॥
The sixty-eight Yoginis have filled their bowls with blood and all the flesh-eaters are roaming with great joy 409.
ਗਿਰੇਬੰਕੁੜੇਬੀਰਬਾਜੀਸੁਦੇਸੰ॥
ਬਾਂਕੇ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਿੱਠਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਡਿੱਗੇ ਪਏ ਹਨ।
ਪਰੇਪੀਲਵਾਨੰਛੁਟੇਚਾਰਕੇਸੰ॥
(ਕਦੀ) ਹਾਥੀਆਂ ਵਾਲੇ (ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ) ਡਿੱਗੇ ਪਏ ਹਨ, (ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ) ਸੁੰਦਰ ਕੇਸ ਖੁਲ੍ਹ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
The foppish warriors and beautiful horses are falling and on the other side the drivers of elephants are lying down with their disheveled hair.
ਕਰੈਪੈਜਵਾਰੰਪ੍ਰਚਾਰੰਤਬੀਰੰ॥
ਕਈ (ਯੁੱਧ ਦੀ) ਮਰਿਯਾਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਲਲਕਾਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਪਏ ਹਨ।
ਉਠੈਸ੍ਰੋਣਧਾਰੰਅਪਾਰੰਹਮੀਰੰ॥੪੧੦॥
(ਸੂਰਵੀਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਰੀਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ) ਲਹੂ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਪਾਰ ਤਤੀਰੀਆਂ ਗੁਲਾਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਿਚਕਾਰੀਆਂ (ਵੰਗ ਨਿਕਲ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ) ॥੪੧੦॥
The brave fighters are striking blows on their enemy with full strength, on account of which there is continuous flow of the blood.410.
ਛੁਟੈਂਚਾਰਿਚਿਤ੍ਰੰਬਚਿਤ੍ਰੰਤਬਾਣੰ॥
ਸੁੰਦਰ ਚਿਤਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਅਦਭੁੱਤ ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਬਾਣ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋ ਛੁੱਟ ਗਏ ਹਨ
ਚਲੇਬੈਠਕੈਸੂਰਬੀਰੰਬਿਮਾਣੰ॥
ਅਤੇ ਸੂਰਵੀਰ ਬਿਮਾਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਸੁਅਰਗ ਨੂੰ ਚਲੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
Queer type of arrows, making beautiful paintings, are moving fastly while piercing the bodies and alongwith it the warriors are flying away in the air-vehicles of death.
