ਭਲਭਲਕੁਅਰਚੜੇਸਜਸੈਨਾ॥
ਚੰਗੇ-ਚੰਗੇ ਰਾਜ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਸੈਨਾ ਸਜਾ ਕੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਪਏ ਸਨ।
ਕੋਟਕਚੜੇਸੂਰਜਨੁਗੈਨਾ॥੧੬੪॥
(ਇੰਜ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ) ਮਾਨੋ ਕਰੋੜਾਂ ਸੂਰਜ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੜ੍ਹੇ ਹੋਏ ਹੋਣ ॥੧੬੪॥
With their armed forces the princes appear glorious like millions of suns in the sky.164.
ਭਰਥਸਹਿਤਸੋਭਤਸਭਭ੍ਰਾਤਾ॥
ਭਰਤ ਸਮੇਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਭਰਾ ਸ਼ੋਭਾ ਪਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ।
ਕਹਿਨਪਰਤਮੁਖਤੇਕਛੁਬਾਤਾ॥
(ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ) ਮੁਖ ਤੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਵਰਣਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਸੀ।
All the brothers blongwith Bharat seem in such splendour which cannot be described.
ਮਾਤਨਮਨਸੁੰਦਰਸੁਤਮੋਹੈਂ॥
ਸੁੰਦਰ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਮਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਮੋਹ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ।
ਜਨੁਦਿਤਗ੍ਰਹਰਵਿਸਸਦੋਊਸੋਹੈਂ॥੧੬੫॥
(ਇੰਜ ਲੰਗਦਾ ਸੀ) ਮਾਨੋ ਦਿੱਤੀ (ਅਦਿਤੀ) ਦੇ ਘਰ ਚੰਦ ਤੇ ਸੂਰਜ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਸ਼ੋਭ ਰਹੇ ਹੋਣ ॥੧੬੫॥
The beautiful princes are alluring the minds of their mothers and appear like the sun and moon born in the house of Diti, increasing its magnificence.165.
ਇਹਬਿਧਕੈਸਜਸੁਧਬਰਾਤਾ॥
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਜੁਗਤ ਨਾਲ ਜੰਞ ਸੋਹਣੀ ਸੱਜੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ
ਕਛੁਨਪਰਤਕਹਿਤਿਨਕੀਬਾਤਾ॥
ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਵਰਣਨ ਨਹੀਂ (ਹੋ) ਸਕਦਾ ਸੀ।
In this way the beautiful wedding parties were emblished. Which are indescribable
ਬਾਢਤਕਹਤਗ੍ਰੰਥਬਾਤਨਕਰ॥
(ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਹਿਣ ਨਾਲ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਦਾ ਆਕਾਰ ਵੱਡਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਏਗਾ।
ਬਿਦਾਹੋਨਸਿਸਚਲੇਤਾਤਘਰ॥੧੬੬॥
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਰਾਜ ਕੁਮਾਰ (ਪੁੱਤਰ) ਪਿਤਾ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਵਿਦਾ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ॥੧੬੬॥
By saying all this the volume of the book will be increased And all these children moved towards the place of their father for getting his permission to depart.166.
ਆਇਪਿਤਾਕਹੁਕੀਨਪ੍ਰਨਾਮਾ॥
(ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਨੇ) ਆ ਕੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਮ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਜੋਰਿਪਾਨਠਾਢੇਬਨਿਧਾਮਾ॥
ਤਿੰਨੇ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹੱਥ ਜੋੜ ਕੇ ਖੜੇ ਹੋ ਗਏ।
They ll came and bowed before their father and stood there with folded hands.
ਨਿਰਖਿਪੁਤ੍ਰਆਨੰਦਮਨਭਰੇ॥
ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ (ਪਿਤਾ ਦਾ) ਮਨ ਆਨੰਦ ਨਾਲ ਭਰ ਗਿਆ।
ਦਾਨਬਹੁਤਬਿਪਨਕਹਕਰੇ॥੧੬੭॥
(ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਦਾਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ॥੧੬੭॥
The king was filled with joy on seeing his sons and he gave many things in charity to the Brahmins.167.
ਤਾਤਮਾਤਲੈਕੰਠਿਲਗਾਏ॥
ਮਾਤਾ ਤੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ (ਇਉਂ) ਗਲ ਨਾਲ ਲਾ ਲਿਆ,
ਜਨਦੁਇਰਤਨਨਿਰਧਨੀਪਾਏ॥
ਮਾਨੋ ਦੋ ਜਨਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੰਗਲਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਰਤਨ ਲਭ ਲਏ ਹੋਣ।
Hugging their children to their bosom the parents felt great pleasure like a poor man on acquiring the gems.
ਬਿਦਾਮਾਗਜਬਗਏਰਾਮਘਰ॥
ਜਦੋਂ ਵਿਦਾ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ (ਭਰਾ) ਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਗਏ
ਸੀਸਰਹੇਧਰਿਚਰਨਕਮਲਪਰ॥੧੬੮॥
ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨ-ਕਮਲਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਿਰ ਰੱਖ ਦਿੱਤਾ ॥੧੬੮॥
After taking permission for departure they reached the place of Ram and bowed their on his feet.168.

ਰਾਮ ਨੇ (ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਵਿਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗਿਆਂ (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ) ਸਿਰ ਚੁੰਮਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਪਿੱਠ 'ਤੇ ਹੱਥ ਫੇਰਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਨੰਦ ਪੂਰਵਕ ਪਾਨ ਬੀੜੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਰੱਖੇ।
Ram kissed the heads of all and placed his hand on their back with love, He presented with betel leaf etc. and affectionately bade them farewell.
ਦੁੰਦਭੀਬਜਾਇਤੀਨੋਭਾਈਯੌਚਲਤਭਏਮਾਨੋਸੂਰਚੰਦਕੋਟਿਆਨਅਵਤਰੇਹੈਂ॥
ਧੌਂਸਾ ਵਜਾ ਕੇ ਤਿੰਨੇ ਭਰਾ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੁਰ ਪਏ, ਮਾਨੋ ਕਰੋੜਾਂ ਸੂਰਜ ਤੇ ਚੰਦ੍ਰਮਾ ਆ ਉਤਰੇ ਹੋਣ।
Playing on the drums and the musical instruments all the people moved as if millions of suns and moons have manifested on the earth.
ਕੇਸਰਸੋਭੀਜੇਪਟਸੋਭਾਦੇਤਐਸੀਭਾਤਮਾਨੋਰੂਪਰਾਗਕੇਸੁਹਾਗਭਾਗਭਰੇਹੈਂ॥
ਕੇਸਰ ਨਾਲ ਭਿੱਜੇ ਹੋਏ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸ਼ੋਭਾ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ, ਮਾਨੋ ਰੂਪ ਰਾਗ, ਸੁਹਾਗ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਹੋਣ।
The garments saturated with saffron are looking splendid as if the beauty itself has materialized.
ਰਾਜਾਅਵਧੇਸਕੇਕੁਮਾਰਐਸੇਸੋਭਾਦੇਤਕਾਮਜੂਨੇਕੋਟਿਕਕਲਿਯੋਰਾਕੈਧੌਕਰੇਹੈਂ॥੧੬੯॥
ਰਾਜਾ ਦਸ਼ਰਥ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸ਼ੋਭਾ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ ਕਿ ਕਿਧਰੇ ਕਾਮ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਕਰੋੜਾਂ ਸਰੀਰ ('ਕਲਿਯੋਰਾ') ਧਾਰਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਣ ॥੧੬੯॥
The princes of Dasrath the king of Oudh, appear splendid like the god of love alongwith his arts.169.

ਅਉਧਤੇਨਿਸਰਚਲੇਲੀਨੇਸੰਗਿਸੂਰਭਲੇਰਨਤੇਨਟਲੇਪਲੇਸੋਭਾਹੂੰਕੇਧਾਮਕੇ॥
ਉਹ ਅਯੁੱਧਿਆ ਤੋਂ ਨਿਕਲ ਤੁਰੇ ਹਨ, ਚੰਗੇ-ਚੰਗੇ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਨਾਲ ਲਏ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ, ਯੁੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਕਦੇ ਟਲਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ੋਭਾ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਹਨ।
All have moved out of Oudhpuri and all of them taken along with them the winsome warriors, who never retrace their steps in war.
ਸੁੰਦਰਕੁਮਾਰਉਰਹਾਰਸੋਭਤਅਪਾਰਤੀਨੋਲੋਗਮਧਕੀਮੁਹਯਾਸਭਬਾਮਕੇ॥
ਸੁੰਦਰ ਰਾਜ ਕੁਮਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਗਲ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਪਾਰ ਹਾਰ ਸ਼ੋਭਾ ਪਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਤਿੰਨ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਇਸਤਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੋਹਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ।
They are beautiful princes, bedecked with necklaces around their necks. They are all going to bring their wedded women.
ਦੁਰਜਨਦਲਯਾਤੀਨੋਲੋਕਕੇਜਿਤਯਾਤੀਨੋਰਾਮਜੂਕੇਭਯਾਹੈਂਚਹਯਾਹਰਨਾਮਕੇ॥
ਤਿੰਨੇ ਭਰਾ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਲ ਸੁੱਟਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿੱਤਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ। ਰਾਮ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਭਰਾ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਹੁੰਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ।
They are all the mashers of the tyrants, capable of conquering the three worlds, lovers of the name of the Lord and brothers of Ram.
ਬੁਧਕੇਉਦਾਰਹੈਂਸਿੰਗਾਰਅਵਤਾਰਦਾਨਸੀਲਕੇਪਹਾਰਕੈਕੁਮਾਰਬਨੇਕਾਮਕੇ॥੧੭੦॥
ਬੁੱਧੀ ਦੇ ਉਦਾਰ ਹਨ, ਸ਼ਿੰਗਾਰ (ਰਸ) ਦੇ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਹਨ, ਦਾਨ ਤੇ ਸ਼ੀਲ ਦੇ ਪਹਾੜ ਹਨ ਜਾਂ ਕਾਮ ਦੇ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਬਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ॥੧੭੦॥
They are magnanimous in wisdom, the incarnation of embellishment, the mountain of munificence and are just like Ram.170.

(ਉਹ ਘੋੜੇ ਨਹੀਂ) ਮਾਨੋ ਚੰਚਲ ਇਸਤਰੀ ਦੇ ਨੇਤ੍ਰ ਹੋਣ ਜਾਂ ਚਤੁਰ ਇਸਤਰੀ ਦੇ ਬੋਲ ਹੋਣ ਜਾਂ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਦਾ ਵਾਵਰੋਲਾ ਹੋਣ, (ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਥਰਕ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ,
The horses, restless like the eyes of a women, swift like the swift utterances of a shrewd person an mercurial like the crane rising up in the sky, are vibrating hither and thither.
ਨ੍ਰਿਤਕਾਕੇਪਾਉਹੈਂਕਿਜੂਪਕੈਸੇਦਾਉਹੈਂਕਿਛਲਕੋਦਿਖਾਉਕੋਊਤੈਸੇਬਿਹਰਤਹੈਂ॥
ਮਾਨੋ ਨਾਚੀ ਦੇ ਪੈਰ ਹੋਣ ਜਾਂ ਜੂਏ ਵਰਗੇ ਦਾਓ ਹੋਣ ਜਾਂ ਛਲ ਦਾ ਵਿਖਾਵਾ ਹੋਣ, (ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਚਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ,
They are swift like the feet of a dancer, they are the tactics of throwing the dice or even some hallucination.
ਹਾਕੇਬਾਜਬੀਰਹੈਂਤੁਫੰਗਕੈਸੇਤੀਰਹੈਂਕਿਅੰਜਨੀਕੇਧੀਰਹੈਂਕਿਧੁਜਾਸੇਫਹਰਤਹੈਂ॥
(ਉਹ) ਹਾਕੇ ਵਾਲੇ ਸੂਰਮਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਹੋਕੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ਜਾਂ ਬੰਦੂਕ (ਦੀ ਗੋਲੀ) ਜਾਂ (ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਨਿਕਲੇ) ਤੀਰ ਹਨ ਜਾਂ ਅੰਜਨੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹਨੂਮਾਨ ਹਨ ਜਾਂ ਧੁਜਾ ਦੇ ਫਰਹਾ ਹਨ,
These brave horses are swift like arrow and gunshot, shrewd and mighty like Hanuman, the son of Anjani they are roaming like the fluttering banners.
ਲਹਰੈਂਅਨੰਗਕੀਤਰੰਗਜੈਸੇਗੰਗਕੀਅਨੰਗਕੈਸੇਅੰਗਜਯੋਂਨਕਹੂੰਠਹਰਤਹੈਂ॥੧੭੧॥
ਕਾਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਹਿਰਾਂ ਹਨ, ਜਾਂ ਗੰਗਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਤਰੰਗਾਂ ਹਨ ਜਾਂ ਕਾਮ ਦਾ ਸਰੀਰ ਹਨ, (ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) ਕਿਤੇ ਠਹਿਰਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ ॥੧੭੧॥
These horses are like the intense emotions of the god of love, or the swift waves of the Ganges. They have beautiful limbs like the limbs of cupid and are not stable at any one place.171.
ਨਿਸਾਨਿਸਨਾਥਿਜਾਨੈਦਿਨਦਿਨਪਤਿਮਾਨੈਭਿਛਕਨਦਾਤਾਕੈਪ੍ਰਮਾਨੇਮਹਾਦਾਨਹੈਂ॥
(ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਰਾਜਕੁਮਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਰਾਤ ਨੇ ਚੰਦ੍ਰਮਾ ਕਰਕੇ, ਦਿਨ ਨੇ ਸੂਰਜ ਕਰਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੰਗਤਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਮਹਾਦਾਨੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਹੈ,
All the princes are being considered as moon by the night and sun by the day, they are known as great donors for the beggars, the ailments consider them as medicine.
ਅਉਖਧੀਕੇਰੋਗਨਅਨੰਤਰੂਪਜੋਗਨਸਮੀਪਕੈਬਿਯੋਗਨਮਹੇਸਮਹਾਮਾਨਹੈਂ॥
ਰੋਗੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਔਖਧੀ ਕਰਕੇ, ਯੋਗੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਅਨੰਤ ਰੂਪ ਕਰਕੇ, ਵਿਯੋਗਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਤਿ ਨਿਕਟ ਮਹੇਸ਼ ਕਰਕੇ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਹੈ,
When they, consisting of endless beauty are nearby, them there is suspicion about their impending separation. They are all most honourable like Shiva.
ਸਤ੍ਰੈਖਗਖਯਾਤਾਸਿਸਰੂਪਨਕੇਮਾਤਾਮਹਾਗਯਾਨੀਗਯਾਨਗਯਾਤਾਕੈਬਿਧਾਤਾਕੈਸਮਾਨਹੈਂ॥
ਸ਼ਤਰੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਧਨੀ ਕਰਕੇ, ਮਾਤਾਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਬਾਲਕ ਕਰਕੇ, ਗਿਆਨੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਗਿਆਨ ਦੇ ਗਿਆਤਾ ਕਰਕੇ, ਜਾਂ ਵਿਧਾਤਾ ਦੇ ਸਮਾਨ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਹੈ।
They are famous swordsmen, childlike for their mothers, the supreme knowledgeable for great sages, they appear apparently like probvidence.
ਗਨਨਗਨੇਸਮਾਨੈਸੁਰਨਸੁਰੇਸਜਾਨੈਜੈਸੇਪੇਖੈਤੈਸੇਈਲਖੇਬਿਰਾਜਮਾਨਹੈਂ॥੧੭੨॥
ਗਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਗਣੇਸ਼ ਕਰਕੇ, ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਇੰਦਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਪਛਾਣਿਆ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੇਖੋ, ਉਹ ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਿਰਾਜਮਾਨ ਦਿਸਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੧੭੨॥
All the Ganas consider them as Ganesh and all the gods as Indra. The sum and substance is this that they manifest themselves in the same form as one thinks about.172.
ਸੁਧਾਸੌਸੁਧਾਰੇਰੂਪਸੋਭਤਉਜਿਯਾਰੇਕਿਧੌਸਾਚੇਬੀਚਢਾਰੇਮਹਾਸੋਭਾਕੈਸੁਧਾਰਕੈ॥
(ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ) ਰੂਪ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਤੋਂ ਸੁਧਾਰੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਜਾਂ ਉਜਾਲੇ ਵਾਂਗ ਸ਼ੋਭਦੇ ਹਨ ਜਾਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਭਾਰੀ ਸੁੰਦਰਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਸੱਚੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਢਾਲ ਕੇ ਸੁਧਾਰਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
Having bathed in ambrosia and the manifestation of beauty and glory, these very winsome princes appear as having been created in special mould.
ਕਿਧੌਮਹਾਮੋਹਨੀਕੇਮੋਹਬੇਨਮਿਤਬੀਰਬਿਧਨਾਬਨਾਏਮਹਾਬਿਧਸੋਬਿਚਾਰਕੈ॥
ਜਾਂ ਮਹਾਮੋਹਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਮੋਹਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਬਿਧਾਤਾ ਨੇ ਵੱਡੀ ਜੁਗਤ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕੇ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਬਣਾਏ ਹਨ।
It seems that in order to allure some most beautiful damsel the providence created these great heroes in a special way.
ਕਿਧੌਦੇਵਦੈਤਨਬਿਬਾਦਛਾਡਬਡੇਚਿਰਮਥਕੈਸਮੁੰਦ੍ਰਛੀਰਲੀਨੇਹੈਨਿਕਾਰਕੈ॥
ਕਿਤੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਦੈਂਤਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪੋ ਵਿਚਲਾ ਝਗੜਾ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਛੀਰ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਚਿਰ ਤਕ ਰਿੜਕ ਕੇ (ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ) ਕੱਢ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ,
They appear as having been taken out as gems by churning the ocean by the gods and demons on abandoning their disputes.
ਕਿਧੌਬਿਸ੍ਵਨਾਥਜੂਬਨਾਏਨਿਜਪੇਖਬੇਕਉਅਉਰਨਸਕਤਐਸੀਸੂਰਤੈਸੁਧਾਰਕੈ॥੧੭੩॥
ਜਾਂ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਦੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਵੇਖਣ ਲਈ (ਇਹ) ਬਣਾਏ ਹਨ (ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਸੂਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਹੋਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ॥੧੭੩॥
Or it seems that the Lord of the universe made improvement in the creation of their faces himself for having their continuous sight.173.
ਸੀਮਤਜਿਆਪਨੀਬਿਰਾਨੇਦੇਸਲਾਘਲਾਘਰਾਜਾਮਿਥਲੇਸਕੇਪਹੂਚੇਦੇਸਆਨਕੈ॥
ਆਪਣੇ (ਰਾਜ) ਦੀ ਹੱਦ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ, ਬਿਗਾਨੇ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੰਘ-ਲੰਘ ਕੇ, (ਅੰਤ ਨੂੰ) ਰਾਜਾ ਜਨਕ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਕੇ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਗਏ।
Crossing the frontier of their kingdom and passing through other countries, all these princes reached the abode of king Janak of Mithila.
ਤੁਰਹੀਅਨੰਤਬਾਜੈਦੁੰਦਭੀਅਪਾਰਗਾਜੈਭਾਤਿਭਾਤਿਬਾਜਨਬਜਾਏਜੋਰਜਾਨਕੈ॥
ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਤੁਰੀਆਂ ਵੱਜਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ, ਅਪਾਰਾਂ ਧੌਂਸੇ ਗੂੰਜਦੇ ਸਨ, ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ-ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਾਜੇ ਜਾਣ ਬੁੱਝ ਕੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਨਾਲ ਵਜਾਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ।
On reaching there they caused the high-pitch resonance of the drums and other musical instruments.
ਆਗੈਆਨਿਤੀਨੈਨ੍ਰਿਪਕੰਠਲਾਇਲੀਨੇਰੀਤਰੂੜਸਭੈਕੀਨੇਬੈਠੇਬੇਦਕੈਬਿਧਾਨਕੈ॥
ਅੱਗੋਂ ਰਾਜਾ ਜਨਕ ਨੇ ਆ ਕੇ ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗਲ਼ ਨਾਲ ਲਾ ਲਿਆ। ਵੇਦਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਰਸਾਈਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਪਰੰਪਰਾਗਤ ਰੀਤ ਰਸਮਾਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਬੈਠ ਗਏ।
The king came forward and hugged the all three to his bosom, all the Vedic rites were performed.
ਬਰਿਖਯੋਧਨਕੀਧਾਰਪਾਇਯਤਨਪਾਰਾਵਾਰਭਿਛਕਭਏਨ੍ਰਿਪਾਰਐਸੇਪਾਇਦਾਨਕੈ॥੧੭੪॥
ਧਨ ਦਾ ਇਤਨਾ ਮੀਂਹ ਵਸਿਆ, ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਪਾਰਾਵਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ। ਅਜਿਹੇ ਦਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਮੰਗਤੇ ਵੀ ਰਾਜੇ ਹੋ ਗਏ ॥੧੭੪॥
There was continuous chartable flow of wealth and on acquiring the alsm, the beggars became king-like.174.
ਬਾਨੇਫਹਰਾਨੇਘਹਰਾਨੇਦੁੰਦਭਅਰਰਾਨੇਜਨਕਪੁਰੀਕੌਨੀਅਰਾਨੇਬੀਰਜਾਇਕੈ॥
ਰੰਗਾਂ ਰੰਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਝੰਡੇ ਲਹਿਰਾਉਂਦਿਆਂ, ਨਗਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਧੌਂਸਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਜਾਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਵੀਰ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਜਨਕਪੁਰੀ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਗਏ।
The banners were unfurled and the drums resounded, the brave heroes began to shout loudly on reaching Janakpuri.
ਕਹੂੰਚਉਰਢਾਰੈਕਹੂੰਚਾਰਣਉਚਾਰੈਕਹੂੰਭਾਟਜੁਪੁਕਾਰੈਛੰਦਸੁੰਦਰਬਨਾਇਕੈ॥
ਕਿਤੇ ਚੌਰ ਝੁਲਾਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਕਿਤੇ ਚਾਰਨ (ਵਿਰਦਾਵਲੀ) ਉਚਾਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਕਿਤੇ ਭੱਟ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਛੰਦ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਗਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
Somewhere the whisks are being swung, somewhere the minstrels are singing eulogies and somewhere the poets are reciting their beautiful stanza.
