ਨਚਿੰਤਭੂਪਚਿੰਤਧਾਮਰਾਮਰਾਇਆਇਹੈਂ॥
ਹੇ ਰਾਜਨ! ਚਿੱਤ ਤੋਂ ਨਿਸ਼ਚਿੰਤ ਹੋ ਜਾ, ਤੇਰੇ ਘਰ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਜਾ ਆਵੇਗਾ
“O king! Forsake all anxiety and go to your home, the king Ram will come to your home
ਦੁਰੰਤਦੁਸਟਜੀਤਕੈਸੁਜੈਤਪਤ੍ਰਪਾਇਹੈਂ॥
ਜੋ ਤਕੜੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿੱਤ ਕੇ ਵਿਜੈਈ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣ ਪੱਤਰ ਪਾਵੇਗਾ।
On conquering the tyrants he will botain the deed of victory from all
ਅਖਰਬਗਰਬਜੇਭਰੇਸੁਸਰਬਗਰਬਘਾਲਹੈਂ॥
ਜੋ ਅਥਾਹ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਨਾਸ਼ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
“He will shatter the pride of egoists
ਫਿਰਾਇਛਤ੍ਰਸੀਸਪੈਛਤੀਸਛੋਣਪਾਲਹੈਂ॥੩੯॥
(ਉਹ) ਆਪਣੇ ਸਿਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਛੱਤਰ ਫਿਰਾਏਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜਾ (ਬਣ ਕੇ) ਧਰਤੀ ਦਾ ਪਾਲਣ-ਪੋਸ਼ਣ ਕਰੇਗਾ ॥੩੯॥
Having royal canopy over his head, he will sustain all.39.
ਅਖੰਡਖੰਡਖੰਡਕੈਅਡੰਡਡੰਡਦੰਡਹੈਂ॥
ਨਾ ਖੰਡੇ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਟੋਟੇ-ਟੋਟੇ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਨਾ ਛੰਡੇ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੰਡ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ,
“He will repudiate the mighty ones and punish those, whom none has been able to punish upto this day
ਅਜੀਤਜੀਤਜੀਤਕੈਬਿਸੇਖਰਾਜਮੰਡਹੈਂ॥
ਨਾ ਜਿਤੇ ਜਾ ਸਕਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿੱਤ-ਜਿੱਤ ਕੇ ਵੱਡਾ ਭਾਰਾ ਰਾਜ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕਰੇਗਾ,
He will extend his domains by conquering the unconquerable and removing all the blemishes
ਕਲੰਕਦੂਰਕੈਸਭੈਨਿਸੰਕਲੰਕਘਾਇਹੈਂ॥
ਸਾਰੇ ਕਲੰਕ ਦੂਰ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਸੰਗ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਲੰਕਾ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰੇਗਾ,
ਸੁਜੀਤਬਾਹਬੀਸਗਰਬਈਸਕੋਮਿਟਾਇਹੈਂ॥੪੦॥
ਵੀਹ ਬਾਂਹਵਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਰਾਵਣ ਨੂੰ ਜਿੱਤ ਕੇ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਦਾ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਮਿਟਾਵੇਗਾ ॥੪੦॥
“He will definitely conquer Lanka and conquering Ravana, he will shatter his pride.40.
ਸਿਧਾਰਭੂਪਧਾਮਕੋਇਤੋਨਸੋਕਕੋਧਰੋ॥
ਹੇ ਰਾਜਨ! ਘਰ ਜਾਓ, ਰਤਾ ਜਿੰਨਾ ਵੀ ਸੋਗ ਨਾ ਮੰਨੋ
ਬੁਲਾਇਬਿਪਛੋਣਕੇਅਰੰਭਜਗਕੋਕਰੋ॥
ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੁਲਾ ਕੇ ਯੱਗ ਆਰੰਭ ਕਰੋ।
“O king! Go to your home forsaking the anxiety and begin the Yajna by calling the Brahmins.”
ਸੁਣੰਤਬੈਣਰਾਵਰਾਜਧਾਨੀਐਸਿਧਾਰੀਅੰ॥
ਰਾਜਾ ਦਸ਼ਰਥ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੋਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਚਲਾ ਗਿਆ
ਬੁਲਾਇਕੈਬਸਿਸਟਰਾਜਸੂਇਕੋਸੁਧਾਰੀਅੰ॥੪੧॥
ਅਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਟ ਨੂੰ ਬੁਲਾ ਕੇ ਰਾਜਸੂਯ ਯੱਗ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗਾ ॥੪੧॥
Hearing these words, the king came to his capital and calling the sage Vasishtha, he determined to perform the Rajsuya Yajna.41.
ਅਨੇਕਦੇਸਦੇਸਕੇਨਰੇਸਬੋਲਕੈਲਏ॥
ਰਾਜੇ ਦਸ਼ਰਥ ਨੇ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ-ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੈਨਾਪਤੀ (ਅਨੇਸ) ਬੁਲਾ ਲਏ
ਦਿਜੇਸਬੇਸਬੇਸਕੇਛਿਤੇਸਧਾਮਆਗਏ॥
ਅਤੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ-ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਦਸ਼ਰਥ (ਛਿਤੇਸ) ਦੇ ਘਰ ਆ ਗਏ।
He invited the kings of many countries and also the Brahmin of different garbs reached there.
ਅਨੇਕਭਾਤਮਾਨਕੈਦਿਵਾਨਬੋਲਕੈਲਏ॥
ਅਨੇਕ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਾਣ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਵਜ਼ੀਰਾਂ (ਦੀਵਾਨ) ਨੂੰ ਬੁਲਾ ਲਿਆ।
ਸੁਜਗਰਾਜਸੂਇਕੋਅਰੰਭਤਾਦਿਨਾਭਏ॥੪੨॥
ਉਸੇ ਦਿਨ ਤੋਂ ਰਾਜਸੂਯ ਯੱਗ ਦਾ ਆਰੰਭ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ॥੪੨॥
The king honoured all in many ways and the Rajsuya Yajna began.42.
ਸੁਪਾਦਿਅਰਘਆਸਨੰਅਨੇਕਧੂਪਦੀਪਕੈ॥
ਚਰਨ ਧੋਣ ਲਈ ਪਾਣੀ, ਆਸਣ, ਧੂਪ, ਦੀਪ ਦੇ ਕੇ
ਪਖਾਰਿਪਾਇਬ੍ਰਹਮਣੰਪ੍ਰਦਛਣਾਬਿਸੇਖਦੈ॥
(ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ) ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨ ਧੋ ਕੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਪ੍ਰਕਰਮਾ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ।
Washing the feet of Brahmins and giving them their seats and buring the incenses and earthen lampas, the king circumambulated the Brahmins in a special manner.
ਕਰੋਰਕੋਰਦਛਨਾਦਿਜੇਕਏਕਕਉਦਈ॥
ਕਰੋੜ-ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਿਆ ਦੀ ਦੱਛਣਾ ਇਕ-ਇਕ (ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ) ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
ਸੁਜਗਰਾਜਸੂਇਕੀਅਰੰਭਤਾਦਿਨਾਭਈ॥੪੩॥
ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਤੋਂ ਰਾਜਸੂਯ ਯੱਗ ਆਰੰਭ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ॥੪੩॥
He gave millions of coins to each Brahmin as religious gift and in this way, the Rajsuya Yajna begin.43.
ਨਟੇਸਦੇਸਦੇਸਕੇਅਨੇਕਗੀਤਗਾਵਹੀ॥
ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ-ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਟ-ਰਾਜ (ਆਏ ਜੋ) ਅਨੇਕ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ।
ਅਨੰਤਦਾਨਮਾਨਲੈਬਿਸੇਖਸੋਭਪਾਵਹੀ॥
(ਰਾਜੇ ਦਸ਼ਰਥ ਤੋਂ) ਬੇਅੰਤ ਦਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਣ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਵੱਡੀ ਸ਼ੋਭਾ ਪਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ।
The comedians and minstrels from various countries began to sing songs and obtaining various kinds of honours they were well-seated in a special manner.
ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨਿਲੋਗਜੇਭਏਸੁਜਾਤਕਉਨਤੇਕਹੇ॥
ਜਿੰਨੇ ਲੋਕ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ (ਦਾ ਬ੍ਰਿਤਾਂਤ) ਕਿਸ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ?
ਬਿਮਾਨਆਸਮਾਨਕੇਪਛਾਨਮੋਨਹੁਐਰਹੇ॥੪੪॥
ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਦੇ (ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੇ) ਵਿਮਾਨ (ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ੀ ਨੂੰ) ਪਛਾਣ ਕੇ ਚੁੱਪ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਸਨ ॥੪੪॥
The pleasure of the people is indescribable and there were so many air-vehicles in the sky that they could not be recognized.44.
ਹੁਤੀਜਿਤੀਅਪਛਰਾਚਲੀਸੁਵਰਗਛੋਰਕੈ॥
(ਇੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਦਰਬਾਰ) ਦੀਆਂ ਜਿੰਨੀਆਂ ਅਪੱਸਰਾਵਾਂ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਸਭ ਸੁਵਰਗ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਚਲੀਆਂ ਆਈਆਂ।
ਬਿਸੇਖਹਾਇਭਾਇਕੈਨਚੰਤਅੰਗਮੋਰਕੈ॥
ਖ਼ਾਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਾਵ-ਭਾਵ ਕਰਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਗ ਮੋੜ-ਮੋੜ ਕੇ ਨਚਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ।
The heavenly damsels, leaving the heaven, were turning their limbs in special postures and dancing.
ਬਿਅੰਤਭੂਪਰੀਝਹੀਅਨੰਤਦਾਨਪਾਵਹੀਂ॥
ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਰਾਜੇ (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਚ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ) ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ (ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ) ਬੇਅੰਤ ਦਾਨ (ਇਨਾਮ) ਪਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ।
ਬਿਲੋਕਿਅਛਰਾਨਕੋਅਪਛਰਾਲਜਾਵਹੀਂ॥੪੫॥
ਨੱਚਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ (ਸੁਵਰਗ ਦੀਆਂ) ਅਪੱਸਰਾਵਾਂ ਲਜਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ ॥੪੫॥
Many kings, in their pleasure were giving charities and seeing their beautiful queens, the heavenly damsel were feeling shy.45.
ਅਨੰਤਦਾਨਮਾਨਦੈਬੁਲਾਇਸੂਰਮਾਲਏ॥
ਕਈ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਸੂਰਮਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਦ ਲਿਆ
ਦੁਰੰਤਸੈਨਸੰਗਦੈਦਸੋਦਿਸਾਪਠੈਦਏ॥
ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਕੜੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਦਸਾਂ ਦਿਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੇਜ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
Bestowing various types of gifts and honours, the king called many mighty heroes and sent them in all the ten directions alongwith he tough forces.
ਨਰੇਸਦੇਸਦੇਸਕੇਨ੍ਰਿਪੇਸਪਾਇਪਾਰੀਅੰ॥
(ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ) ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ-ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿੱਤ ਕੇ ਮਹਾਰਾਜਾ ਦਸ਼ਰਥ ਦੇ ਚਰਨੀਂ ਪਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਮਹੇਸਜੀਤਕੈਸਭੈਸੁਛਤ੍ਰਪਤ੍ਰਢਾਰੀਅੰ॥੪੬॥
(ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ) ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ (ਮਹੇਸ) ਨੂੰ ਜਿੱਤ ਕੇ (ਦਸ਼ਰਥ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਿਰ ਉੱਪਰ) ਛੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਚੌਰ ਝੁਲਵਾਇਆ ॥੪੬॥
They conquered the kings of many countries and made them subservient to Dasrath and in this why, conquering the kings of the whole world, brought them before the Sovereign Dasrath.46.

ਜੀਤਜੀਤਨ੍ਰਿਪੰਨਰੇਸੁਰਸਤ੍ਰਮਿਤ੍ਰਬੁਲਾਇ॥
(ਦਸ਼ਰਥ) ਮਹਾਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿੱਤ-ਜਿੱਤ ਕੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਤੇ ਸ਼ਤਰੂ ਬੁਲਾ ਲਏ।
ਬਿਪ੍ਰਆਦਿਬਿਸਿਸਟਤੇਲੈਕੈਸਭੈਰਿਖਰਾਇ॥
ਵਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਟ ਆਦਿ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜ-ਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਬੁਲਾ ਲਏ।
After conquering the kinds, the king Dasrath called together the enemies as well as friends, the sages like Vashisht and the Brahmins.
ਕ੍ਰੁਧਜੁਧਕਰੇਘਨੇਅਵਗਾਹਿਗਾਹਿਸੁਦੇਸ॥
ਸੈਨਾ ਨੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਬੜੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਕੀਤੇ, ਨਾ ਗਾਹੇ ਜਾ ਸਕਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਗਾਹ ਲਿਆ।
ਆਨਆਨਅਵਧੇਸਕੇਪਗਲਾਗੀਅੰਅਵਨੇਸ॥੪੭॥
(ਸਾਰੇ) ਰਾਜੇ (ਅਯੁਧਿਆ ਵਿੱਚ) ਆ-ਆ ਕੇ ਦਸ਼ਰਥ ਦੇ ਪੈਰੀਂ ਪਏ ॥੪੭॥
Those who did not accept his supremacy, in great fury, he destroyed them and in this way the kings of all the earth became subservient to the king of Oudh.47.
ਭਾਤਿਭਾਤਿਨਦੈਲਏਸਨਮਾਨਆਨਨ੍ਰਿਪਾਲ॥
ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ-ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ (ਪਦਾਰਥ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ) ਭੇਟਾ ਕੀਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਦਸ਼ਰਥ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਵੀ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੇ।
ਅਰਬਖਰਬਨਦਰਬਦੈਗਜਰਾਜਬਾਜਬਿਸਾਲ॥
ਅਰਬਾਂ-ਖਰਬਾਂ ਦੀ ਦੌਲਤ ਅਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਹਾਥੀ ਅਤੇ ਘੋੜੇ ਵੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ।
All the kings were honoured in various ways they were given the wealth, elephants and horses equivalent to millions and billions of gold coin.
ਹੀਰਚੀਰਨਕੋਸਕੈਗਨਜਟਤਜੀਨਜਰਾਇ॥
ਹੀਰਿਆਂ ਜੜੇ ਬਸਤ੍ਰ ਅਤੇ ਸੋਨੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਜੜਾਊ ਜ਼ੀਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੌਣ ਗਿਣ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ
ਭਾਉਭੂਖਨਕੋਕਹੈਬਿਧਤੇਨਜਾਤਬਤਾਇ॥੪੮॥
ਅਤੇ ਗਹਿਣਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਕੌਣ ਕਹਿ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਦੱਸੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ ॥੪੮॥
The garments studded with diamonds and the saddles of horses studded with gems cannot be enumerated and even Brahma cannot describe the grandeur of the ornaments.48.
ਪਸਮਬਸਤ੍ਰਪਟੰਬਰਾਦਿਕਦੀਏਭੂਪਨਭੂਪ॥
ਪਸ਼ਮ ਅਤੇ ਰੇਸ਼ਮ ਦੇ ਬਸਤ੍ਰ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਜੇ ਦਸ਼ਰਥ ਨੇ ਦਿੱਤੇ।
ਰੂਪਅਰੂਪਸਰੂਪਸੋਭਿਤਕਉਨਇੰਦ੍ਰਕਰੂਪੁ॥
(ਉਹ ਰਾਜੇ) ਉਪਮਾ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਰੂਪ (ਵਾਲੇ ਸਨ)। (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ) ਸਰੂਪ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੋਭਾ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਇੰਦਰ ਵੀ ਕਰੂਪ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਸੀ।
The woolen and silken garments were given by the king and seeing the beauty of all the people it seemed that even Indra was ugly before them.
ਦੁਸਟਪੁਸਟਤ੍ਰਸੈਸਭੈਥਰਹਰਯੋਸੁਨਿਗਿਰਰਾਇ॥
ਸਾਰੇ ਵੱਡੇ-ਵੱਡੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਕੰਬ ਗਏ, (ਦਾਨ ਨੂੰ) ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਸੁਮੇਰ ਪਰਬਤ ਥਿੜਕ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ
ਕਾਟਿਕਾਟਿਨਦੈਮੁਝੈਨ੍ਰਿਪਬਾਟਿਬਾਟਿਲੁਟਾਇ॥੪੯॥
(ਸੋਚਣ ਲੱਗਿਆ ਕਿ) ਰਾਜਾ ਦਸ਼ਰਥ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਕੱਟ-ਕੱਟ ਕੇ (ਵੰਡ-ਵੰਡ ਕੇ) ਕਿਧਰੇ ਲੁਟਾ ਨਾ ਦੇਵੇ ॥੪੯॥
All the tyrants were frightened and even the Sumeru mountain trembled with fear that the king may not chop him and distribute his bits to the participants.49.
ਬੇਦਧੁਨਿਕਰਿਕੈਸਭੈਦਿਜਕੀਅਸਜਗਅਰੰਭ॥
ਵੇਦਾਂ ਦੀ ਧੁਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਯੱਗ ਦਾ ਆਰੰਭ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਭਾਤਿਭਾਤਿਬੁਲਾਇਹੋਮਤਰਿਤਜਾਨਅਸੰਭ॥
ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ-ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਹਿਤ (ਰਿਤਜਾਨ) ਬੁਲਾ, ਜੋ ਅਮੋਲਕ ਪਦਾਰਥ ਹੋਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ।
All the Brahmins started the Yajna by reciting the Vedic performed the havan (fire-worship) in accordance with the mantras.
