ਤੇਭਸਮਭਏਤਿਹਬੀਚਆਪ॥
ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ (ਉਹ) ਆਪ ਭਸਮ ਹੋ ਗਏ
ਤਿਹਕੋਪਦੁਹੂੰਨ੍ਰਿਪਦੀਯੋਸ੍ਰਾਪ॥੩੪॥
ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰਕੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਾਪ ਦਿੱਤਾ ॥੩੪॥
Both of them reduced themselves to ashes and in their final hour cursed the king in great anger.34.
ਦਿਜਬਾਚਰਾਜਾਸੋਂ॥
ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਰਾਜੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਬੋਲਿਆ-
The speech of the Brahmin addressed to the King :

ਜਿਮਤਜੇਪ੍ਰਾਣਹਮਸੁਤਿਬਿਛੋਹਿ॥
ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਸੀਂ (ਦੋਹਾਂ ਨੇ) ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਛੋੜੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਤਿਆਗੇ ਹਨ,
ਤਿਮਲਗੋਸ੍ਰਾਪਸੁਨਭੂਪਤੋਹਿ॥
ਹੇ ਰਾਜਨ! ਸੁਣੋ, ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਾਡਾ ਇਹੀ ਸਰਾਪ ਲੱਗੇ।
“O king! The manner in which we are breathing our last, you will also experience the same situation.”
ਇਮਭਾਖਜਰਯੋਦਿਜਸਹਿਤਨਾਰਿ॥
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਇਸਤਰੀ ਸਮੇਤ ਸੜ ਗਿਆ
ਤਜਦੇਹਕੀਯੋਸੁਰਪੁਰਬਿਹਾਰ॥੩੫॥
ਅਤੇ ਦੇਹ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗ ਕੇ ਸੁਵਰਗ ਵਲ ਚਲਾ ਗਿਆ ॥੩੫॥
Saying this, the Brahmin was burnt to ashes alongwith his wife and went to heaven.35.
ਰਾਜਾਬਾਚ॥
(ਤਦ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ)-

ਤਬਚਹੀਭੂਪਹਉਾਂਜਰੋਂਆਜ॥
ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਚਾਹਿਆ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਅੱਜ (ਹੀ) ਸੜ ਜਾਵਾਂ?
ਕੈਅਤਿਥਿਹੋਊਾਂਤਜਰਾਜਸਾਜ॥
ਜਾਂ ਰਾਜ ਸਾਜ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਜੋਗੀ (ਅਤਿਥਿ) ਹੋ ਜਾਵਾਂ?
Then the king expressed this wish that either he would burn himself that day or forsaking his kingdom, he would go to the forest,
ਕੈਗ੍ਰਹਿਜੈਕੈਕਰਹੋਂਉਚਾਰ॥
ਜਾਂ ਘਰ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਇਹ ਕਹਿ ਦੇਵਾਂ ਕਿ
ਮੈਦਿਜਆਯੋਨਿਜਕਰਸੰਘਾਰ॥੩੬॥
ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਆਇਆ ਹਾਂ ॥੩੬॥
‘What will I say at home? That I am coming back after killing the Brahmin with my own hand! 36.
ਦੇਵਬਾਨੀਬਾਚ॥
ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਬਾਣੀ ਹੋਈ

ਤਬਭਈਦੇਵਬਾਨੀਬਨਾਇ॥
ਤਦੋਂ ਭਲੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੇਵ-ਬਾਣੀ ਹੋਈ-
ਜਿਨਕਰੋਦੁਖਦਸਰਥਰਾਇ॥
ਹੇ ਦਸ਼ਰਥ ਰਾਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਦੁੱਖ ਨਾ ਮਨਾ।
Then there was an utterance from heavens: “O Dasrath! Do not be sad
ਤਵਧਾਮਹੋਹਿਗੇਪੁਤ੍ਰਬਿਸਨ॥
ਤੇਰੇ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ਣੂ (ਭਗਵਾਨ) ਪੁੱਤਰ (ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈਦਾ) ਹੋਣਗੇ
ਸਭਕਾਜਆਜਸਿਧਭਏਜਿਸਨ॥੩੭॥
ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ (ਜਿਸਨ) ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਸਿੱਧ ਹੋਣਗੇ ॥੩੭॥
“Vishnu will take birth as son in your home and through him, the impact of the sinful deed of this day will end.37.
ਹ੍ਵੈਹੈਸੁਨਾਮਰਾਮਾਵਤਾਰ॥
ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ
ਕਰਹੈਸੁਸਕਲਜਗਕੋਉਧਾਰ॥
ਜੋ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਦਾ ਉਧਾਰ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
“He will be famous by the name of Ramavtar and he will redeem the whole world
ਕਰਹੈਸੁਤਨਕਮੈਦੁਸਟਨਾਸ॥
ਉਹ ਇਕ ਛਿਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
ਇਹਭਾਤਕੀਰਤਕਰਹੈਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ॥੩੮॥
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜਗਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਯਸ਼ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਕਰੇਗਾ ॥੩੮॥
“He will destroy the tyrants in an instant and in this way his fame will spread on all the four sides.”38.
