ਗਉੜੀਮਹਲਾ੫॥
Gauree, Fifth Mahalaa:
ਤੂੰਸਮਰਥੁਤੂੰਹੈਮੇਰਾਸੁਆਮੀ॥
(ਹੇ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ!) ਤੂੰ ਸਭ ਤਾਕਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੈਂ, ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੈਂ (ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੀ ਆਸਰਾ ਹੈ)।
You are All-powerful, You are my Lord and Master.
ਸਭੁਕਿਛੁਤੁਮਤੇਤੂੰਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ॥੧॥
ਤੂੰ ਸਭ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਦੀ ਜਾਣਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ। ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਤੇਰੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਨਾ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
Everything comes from You; You are the Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts. ||1||
ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮਪੂਰਨਜਨਓਟ॥
ਹੇ ਸਰਬ-ਵਿਆਪਕ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੇਰੇ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੀ ਆਸਰਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
The Perfect Supreme Lord God is the Support of His humble servant.
ਤੇਰੀਸਰਣਿਉਧਰਹਿਜਨਕੋਟਿ॥੧॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਕ੍ਰੋੜਾਂ ਹੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਨ ਪੈ ਕੇ (ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ) ਬਚ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Millions are saved in Your Sanctuary. ||1||Pause||
ਜੇਤੇਜੀਅਤੇਤੇਸਭਿਤੇਰੇ॥
(ਹੇ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ! ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ) ਜਿਤਨੇ ਭੀ ਜੀਵ ਹਨ, ਸਾਰੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਹੀ ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।
As many creatures as there are - they are all Yours.
ਤੁਮਰੀਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਤੇਸੂਖਘਨੇਰੇ॥੨॥
ਤੇਰੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ (ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਸੁਖ ਮਿਲ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ॥੨॥
By Your Grace, all sorts of comforts are obtained. ||2||
ਜੋਕਿਛੁਵਰਤੈਸਭਤੇਰਾਭਾਣਾ॥
(ਹੇ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ! ਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਿਚ) ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਵਾਪਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹੀ ਵਾਪਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ।
Whatever happens, is all according to Your Will.
ਹੁਕਮੁਬੂਝੈਸੋਸਚਿਸਮਾਣਾ॥੩॥
ਜੇਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਤੇਰੀ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਨਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਲੀਨ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
One who understands the Hukam of the Lord's Command, is absorbed in the True Lord. ||3||
ਕਰਿਕਿਰਪਾਦੀਜੈਪ੍ਰਭਦਾਨੁ॥
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਮਿਹਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਦਾਤ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼,
Please grant Your Grace, God, and bestow this gift
ਨਾਨਕਸਿਮਰੈਨਾਮੁਨਿਧਾਨੁ॥੪॥੬੬॥੧੩੫॥
ਤਾ ਕਿ ਤੇਰਾ ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਦਾ ਰਹੇ (ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਦਾਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਸਭ ਸੁਖਾਂ ਦਾ) ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੬੬॥੧੩੫॥
upon Nanak, that he may meditate on the treasure of the Naam. ||4||66||135||
ਗਉੜੀਮਹਲਾ੫॥
Gauree, Fifth Mahalaa:
ਤਾਕਾਦਰਸੁਪਾਈਐਵਡਭਾਗੀ॥
(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਦਰਸਨ ਵੱਡੇ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ,
By great good fortune, the Blessed Vision of His Darshan is obtained,
ਜਾਕੀਰਾਮਨਾਮਿਲਿਵਲਾਗੀ॥੧॥
ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਲਗਨ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਲੱਗੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
by those who are lovingly absorbed in the Lord's Name. ||1||
ਜਾਕੈਹਰਿਵਸਿਆਮਨਮਾਹੀ॥
(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ (ਸਦਾ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ (ਦਾ ਨਾਮ) ਵੱਸਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ,
Those whose minds are filled with the Lord,
ਤਾਕਉਦੁਖੁਸੁਪਨੈਭੀਨਾਹੀ॥੧॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਕਦੇ ਸੁਪਨੇ ਵਿਚ ਭੀ (ਕੋਈ) ਦੁੱਖ ਪੋਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
do not suffer pain, even in dreams. ||1||Pause||
ਸਰਬਨਿਧਾਨਰਾਖੇਜਨਮਾਹਿ॥
(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਲਗਨ ਵਾਲੇ) ਸੇਵਕ (ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ) ਵਿਚ (ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ) ਸਾਰੇ (ਆਤਮਕ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦੇ) ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨੇ ਪਾ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ।
All treasures have been placed within the minds of His humble servants.
ਤਾਕੈਸੰਗਿਕਿਲਵਿਖਦੁਖਜਾਹਿ॥੨॥
ਅਜੇਹੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਰਿਹਾਂ ਪਾਪ ਤੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੨॥
In their company, sinful mistakes and sorrows are taken away. ||2||
ਜਨਕੀਮਹਿਮਾਕਥੀਨਜਾਇ॥
(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੇ) ਸੇਵਕ ਦੀ ਆਤਮਕ ਉੱਚਤਾ ਬਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ।
The Glories of the Lord's humble servants cannot be described.
ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁਜਨੁਰਹਿਆਸਮਾਇ॥੩॥
ਉਹ ਸੇਵਕ ਉਸ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਦਾ ਰੂਪ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
The servants of the Supreme Lord God remain absorbed in Him. ||3||
ਕਰਿਕਿਰਪਾਪ੍ਰਭਬਿਨਉਸੁਨੀਜੈ॥
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਮੇਰੀ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਸੁਣ, ਮਿਹਰ ਕਰ।
Grant Your Grace, God, and hear my prayer:
ਦਾਸਕੀਧੂਰਿਨਾਨਕਕਉਦੀਜੈ॥੪॥੬੭॥੧੩੬॥
ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਾਨਕ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਜੇਹੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਧੂੜ ਦੇਹ ॥੪॥੬੭॥੧੩੬॥
please bless Nanak with the dust of the feet of Your slave. ||4||67||136||
ਗਉੜੀਮਹਲਾ੫॥
Gauree, Fifth Mahalaa:
ਹਰਿਸਿਮਰਤਤੇਰੀਜਾਇਬਲਾਇ॥
(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਸਿਰਮਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਵੈਰਨ (ਮਾਇਆ ਡਾਇਣ) ਤੈਥੋਂ ਪਰੇ ਹਟ ਜਾਏਗੀ।
Remembering the Lord in meditation, your misfortune shall be taken away,
ਸਰਬਕਲਿਆਣਵਸੈਮਨਿਆਇ॥੧॥
(ਜੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਤੇਰੇ) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਵੱਸੇ ਤਾਂ (ਤੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ) ਸਾਰੇ ਸੁਖ (ਆ ਵੱਸਣਗੇ) ॥੧॥
and all joy shall come to abide in your mind. ||1||
ਭਜੁਮਨਮੇਰੇਏਕੋਨਾਮ॥
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ! ਇਕ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਹੀ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਦਾ ਰਹੁ।
Meditate, O my mind, on the One Name.
ਜੀਅਤੇਰੇਕੈਆਵੈਕਾਮ॥੧॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਇਹ ਨਾਮ ਹੀ ਤੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਆਵੇਗਾ (ਜਿੰਦ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਦਾ ਨਿਭੇਗਾ) ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
It alone shall be of use to your soul. ||1||Pause||
ਰੈਣਿਦਿਨਸੁਗੁਣਗਾਉਅਨੰਤਾ॥
(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਇਆ ਕਰ,
Night and day, sing the Glorious Praises of the Infinite Lord,
ਗੁਰਪੂਰੇਕਾਨਿਰਮਲਮੰਤਾ॥੨॥
ਤੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਲੈ ॥੨॥
through the Pure Mantra of the Perfect Guru. ||2||
ਛੋਡਿਉਪਾਵਏਕਟੇਕਰਾਖੁ॥
(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਣ ਲਈ) ਹੋਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਹੀਲੇ ਛੱਡ, ਤੇ ਇਕ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ (ਦੇ ਨਾਮ) ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਰੱਖ।
Give up other efforts, and place your faith in the Support of the One Lord.
ਮਹਾਪਦਾਰਥੁਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਰਸੁਚਾਖੁ॥੩॥
ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਾਮ-ਰਸ ਚੱਖ-ਇਹੀ ਹੈ ਸਭ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਟ ਪਦਾਰਥ ॥੩॥
Taste the Ambrosial Essence of this, the greatest treasure. ||3||
ਬਿਖਮਸਾਗਰੁਤੇਈਜਨਤਰੇ॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਉਹੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਔਖੇ (ਸੰਸਾਰ) ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ (ਆਤਮਕ ਪੂੰਜੀ ਸਮੇਤ) ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਦੇ ਹਨ,
They alone cross over the treacherous world-ocean,
ਨਾਨਕਜਾਕਉਨਦਰਿਕਰੇ॥੪॥੬੮॥੧੩੭॥
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੇ (ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਆਪ ਮਿਹਰ ਦੀ) ਨਜ਼ਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੬੮॥੧੩੭॥
O Nanak, upon whom the Lord casts His Glance of Grace. ||4||68||137||
ਗਉੜੀਮਹਲਾ੫॥
Gauree, Fifth Mahalaa:
ਹਿਰਦੈਚਰਨਕਮਲਪ੍ਰਭਧਾਰੇ॥
(ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਜੇਹੜੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਚਰਨ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ,
I have enshrined the Lotus Feet of God within my heart.
ਪੂਰੇਸਤਿਗੁਰਮਿਲਿਨਿਸਤਾਰੇ॥੧॥
ਪੂਰੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਉਹ (ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ) ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੧॥
Meeting the Perfect True Guru, I am emancipated. ||1||
ਗੋਵਿੰਦਗੁਣਗਾਵਹੁਮੇਰੇਭਾਈ॥
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਭਾਈ! ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਂਦੇ ਰਹੋ।
Sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord of the Universe, O my Siblings of Destiny.
ਮਿਲਿਸਾਧੂਹਰਿਨਾਮੁਧਿਆਈ॥੧॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰੋ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Joining the Holy Saints, meditate on the Lord's Name. ||1||Pause||
ਦੁਲਭਦੇਹਹੋਈਪਰਵਾਨੁ॥
(ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਨੁੱਖਾ ਸਰੀਰ-ਬੜੀ ਕਠਨਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਮਨੁੱਖਾ ਸਰੀਰ-(ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਨਜ਼ਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ) ਕਬੂਲ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
This human body, so difficult to obtain, is redeemed
ਸਤਿਗੁਰਤੇਪਾਇਆਨਾਮਨੀਸਾਨੁ॥੨॥
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਜੀਵਨ-ਸਫ਼ਰ ਵਿਚ) ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਰਾਹਦਾਰੀ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰ ਲਈ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
when one receives the banner of the Naam from the True Guru. ||2||
ਹਰਿਸਿਮਰਤਪੂਰਨਪਦੁਪਾਇਆ॥
(ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਦਿਆਂ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉਹ ਆਤਮਕ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਥੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਉਕਾਈ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਂਦੀ।
Meditating in remembrance on the Lord, the state of perfection is attained.
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿਭੈਭਰਮਮਿਟਾਇਆ॥੩॥
ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਾਰੇ ਡਰ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਭਟਕਣਾ ਮਿਟਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
In the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, fear and doubt depart. ||3||
ਜਤਕਤਦੇਖਉਤਤਰਹਿਆਸਮਾਇ॥
(ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਭਾਈ! ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਮੈਂ ਜਿਧਰ ਭੀ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਉਧਰ ਹੀ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਦਿੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ।
Wherever I look, there I see the Lord pervading.
ਨਾਨਕਦਾਸਹਰਿਕੀਸਰਣਾਇ॥੪॥੬੯॥੧੩੮॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਸੇਵਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਟਿਕੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੪॥੬੯॥੧੩੮॥
Slave Nanak has entered the Lord's Sanctuary. ||4||69||138||

ਗੁਰਜੀਕੇਦਰਸਨਕਉਬਲਿਜਾਉ॥
(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਮੈਂ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਦਰਸਨ ਤੋਂ ਸਦਕੇ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
I am a sacrifice to the Blessed Vision of the Guru's Darshan.
ਜਪਿਜਪਿਜੀਵਾਸਤਿਗੁਰਨਾਉ॥੧॥
ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਚੇਤੇ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਉੱਚਾ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
Chanting and meditating on the Name of the True Guru, I live. ||1||
ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮਪੂਰਨਗੁਰਦੇਵ॥
ਹੇ ਪੂਰਨ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ! ਹੇ ਗੁਰਦੇਵ!
O Supreme Lord God, O Perfect Divine Guru,
ਕਰਿਕਿਰਪਾਲਾਗਉਤੇਰੀਸੇਵ॥੧॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਸੇਵਾ-ਭਗਤੀ ਵਿਚ ਲੱਗਾ ਰਹਾਂ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
show mercy to me, and commit me to Your service. ||1||Pause||
ਚਰਨਕਮਲਹਿਰਦੈਉਰਧਾਰੀ॥
(ਇਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ, ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ) ਸੋਹਣੇ ਚਰਨ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
I enshrine His Lotus Feet within my heart.
ਮਨਤਨਧਨਗੁਰਪ੍ਰਾਨਅਧਾਰੀ॥੨॥
ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਦਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਤਨ ਦਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਧਨ ਦਾ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਹਨ ॥੨॥
I offer my mind, body and wealth to the Guru, the Support of the breath of life. ||2||
ਸਫਲਜਨਮੁਹੋਵੈਪਰਵਾਣੁ॥
(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!) (ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਮਨੁੱਖਾ) ਜਨਮ ਕਾਮਯਾਬ ਹੋ ਜਾਇਗਾ ਤੂੰ (ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਹਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਵਿਚ) ਕਬੂਲ ਹੋ ਜਾਇਂਗਾ,
My life is prosperous, fruitful and approved;
ਗੁਰੁਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁਨਿਕਟਿਕਰਿਜਾਣੁ॥੩॥
ਜੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ (ਸਦਾ ਆਪਣੇ) ਨੇੜੇ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਸਮਝੇਂ ॥੩॥
I know that the Guru, the Supreme Lord God, is near me. ||3||
ਸੰਤਧੂਰਿਪਾਈਐਵਡਭਾਗੀ॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਗੁਰੂ-ਸੰਤ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਧੂੜ ਵੱਡੇ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਹੈ।
By great good fortune, I have obtained the dust of the feet of the Saints.
ਨਾਨਕਗੁਰਭੇਟਤਹਰਿਸਿਉਲਿਵਲਾਗੀ॥੪॥੭੦॥੧੩੯॥
ਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਿਆਂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ (ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ) ਨਾਲ ਲਗਨ ਲੱਗ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੭੦॥੧੩੯॥
O Nanak, meeting the Guru, I have fallen in love with the Lord. ||4||70||139||
