(ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ, ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ!) ਇਕ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਹੈਂ, ਇਕ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਹੈਂ ॥੨॥

First Mahalaa:
ਨਦਾਦੇਦਿਹੰਦਆਦਮੀ॥
ਨਾਹ ਹੀ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ (ਭਾਵ, ਦੂਜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਝਗੜੇ ਨਿਬੇੜਨ ਵਾਲੇ) ਆਦਮੀ ਸਦਾ ਟਿਕੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ,
Neither the just, nor the generous, nor any humans at all,
ਨਸਪਤਜੇਰਜਿਮੀ॥
ਨਾਹ ਹੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਹੇਠਲੇ ਸੱਤ (ਪਤਾਲ ਹੀ) ਸਦਾ ਰਹਿ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ।
nor the seven realms beneath the earth, shall remain.
ਅਸਤਿਏਕਦਿਗਰਿਕੁਈ॥
ਸਦਾ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੋਰ ਦੂਜਾ ਕੌਣ ਹੈ?
The One Lord alone exists. Who else is there?
ਏਕਤੁਈਏਕਤੁਈ॥੩॥
(ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ) ਇਕ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਹੈ ਇਕ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਹੈ ॥੩॥

First Mahalaa:
ਨਸੂਰਸਸਿਮੰਡਲੋ॥
ਨਾ ਸੂਰਜ, ਨਾਹ ਚੰਦਰਮਾ, ਨਾਹ ਇਹ ਦਿੱਸਦਾ ਆਕਾਸ਼,
Neither the sun, nor the moon, nor the planets,
ਨਸਪਤਦੀਪਨਹਜਲੋ॥
ਨਾਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਸੱਤ ਦੀਪ, ਨਾਹ ਪਾਣੀ,
nor the seven continents, nor the oceans,
ਅੰਨਪਉਣਥਿਰੁਨਕੁਈ॥
ਨ ਅੰਨ, ਨਾਹ ਹਵਾ-ਕੋਈ ਭੀ ਥਿਰ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ।
nor food, nor the wind-nothing is permanent.
ਏਕੁਤੁਈਏਕੁਤੁਈ॥੪॥
(ਸਦਾ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ, ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ!) ਇਕ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਹੈਂ, ਇਕ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਹੈਂ ॥੪॥
You alone, Lord, You alone. ||4||

First Mahalaa:
ਨਰਿਜਕੁਦਸਤਆਕਸੇ॥
(ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦਾ) ਰਿਜ਼ਕ (ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ) ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।
Our sustenance is not in the hands of any person.
ਹਮਾਰਾਏਕੁਆਸਵਸੇ॥
ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ, ਬੱਸ, ਇਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਆਸ ਹੈ।
The hopes of all rest in the One Lord.
ਅਸਤਿਏਕੁਦਿਗਰਕੁਈ॥
(ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ) ਹੋਰ ਹੈ ਹੀ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ।
The One Lord alone exists-who else is there?
ਏਕਤੁਈਏਕੁਤੁਈ॥੫॥
ਸਦਾ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ, ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਇਕ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਹੈਂ ॥੫॥
You alone, Lord, You alone. ||5||

First Mahalaa:
ਪਰੰਦਏਨਗਿਰਾਹਜਰ॥
ਪੰਛੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਗੰਢੇ-ਪੱਲੇ ਧਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।
The birds have no money in their pockets.
ਦਰਖਤਆਬਆਸਕਰ॥
ਉਹ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਬਣਾਏ ਹੋਏ) ਰੁੱਖਾਂ ਤੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਹੀ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
They place their hopes on trees and water.
ਦਿਹੰਦਸੁਈ॥
ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਜ਼ੀ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਉਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹੈ।
He alone is the Giver.
ਏਕਤੁਈਏਕਤੁਈ॥੬॥
(ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਰਿਜ਼ਕ-ਦਾਤਾ) ਇਕ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਹੈਂ ਇਕ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਹੈਂ ॥੬॥

First Mahalaa:
ਨਾਨਕਲਿਲਾਰਿਲਿਖਿਆਸੋਇ॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਜੀਵ ਦੇ) ਮੱਥੇ ਉਤੇ (ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਵਲੋਂ) ਲਿਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ,
O Nanak, that destiny which is pre-ordained and written on one's forehead
ਮੇਟਿਨਸਾਕੈਕੋਇ॥
ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਮਿਟਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ।
- no one can erase it.
ਕਲਾਧਰੈਹਿਰੈਸੁਈ॥
(ਜੀਵ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ) ਉਹੀ ਸੱਤਿਆ ਪਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹੀ ਖੋਹ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
The Lord infuses strength, and He takes it away again.
ਏਕੁਤੁਈਏਕੁਤੁਈ॥੭॥
(ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਤਿਆ ਦੇਣ ਤੇ ਖੋਹ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲਾ) ਇਕ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਹੈਂ ਇਕ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਹੈਂ ॥੭॥
You alone, O Lord, You alone. ||7||
ਪਉੜੀ॥
Pauree:
ਸਚਾਤੇਰਾਹੁਕਮੁਗੁਰਮੁਖਿਜਾਣਿਆ॥
(ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ!) ਤੇਰਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਸਮਝ ਪੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
True is the Hukam of Your Command. To the Gurmukh, it is known.
ਗੁਰਮਤੀਆਪੁਗਵਾਇਸਚੁਪਛਾਣਿਆ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਮਤਿ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਪਾ-ਭਾਵ ਦੂਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਪਛਾਣ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।
Through the Guru's Teachings, selfishness and conceit are eradicated, and the Truth is realized.
ਸਚੁਤੇਰਾਦਰਬਾਰੁਸਬਦੁਨੀਸਾਣਿਆ॥
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੇਰਾ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਹੈ, (ਇਸ ਤਕ ਅੱਪੜਨ ਲਈ ਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ) ਸ਼ਬਦ ਰਾਹਦਾਰੀ ਹੈ।
True is Your Court. It is proclaimed and revealed through the Word of the Shabad.
ਸਚਾਸਬਦੁਵੀਚਾਰਿਸਚਿਸਮਾਣਿਆ॥
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸੱਚੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਚਾਰਿਆ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸੱਚ ਵਿਚ ਲੀਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
Meditating deeply on the True Word of the Shabad, I have merged into the Truth.
ਮਨਮੁਖਸਦਾਕੂੜਿਆਰਭਰਮਿਭੁਲਾਣਿਆ॥
(ਪਰ) ਮਨ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਤੁਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਕੂੜ (ਹੀ) ਵਿਹਾਝਦੇ ਹਨ, ਭਟਕਣਾ ਵਿਚ ਖੁੰਝੇ ਫਿਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
The self-willed manmukhs are always false; they are deluded by doubt.
ਵਿਸਟਾਅੰਦਰਿਵਾਸੁਸਾਦੁਨਜਾਣਿਆ॥
ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਸੇਬਾ ਗੰਦ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, (ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦਾ) ਆਨੰਦ ਉਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਮਝ ਸਕੇ।
They dwell in manure, and they do not know the taste of the Name.
ਵਿਣੁਨਾਵੈਦੁਖੁਪਾਇਆਵਣਜਾਣਿਆ॥
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਦੁੱਖ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ (ਦੇ ਚੱਕਰ ਵਿਚ ਪਏ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ)।
Without the Name, they suffer the agonies of coming and going.
ਨਾਨਕਪਾਰਖੁਆਪਿਜਿਨਿਖੋਟਾਖਰਾਪਛਾਣਿਆ॥੧੩॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਪਰਖਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਖੋਟੇ ਖਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਪਛਾਣਿਆ ਹੈ (ਭਾਵ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਖੋਟਾ ਕੌਣ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਖਰਾ ਕੌਣ ਹੈ) ॥੧੩॥
O Nanak, the Lord Himself is the Appraiser, who distinguishes the counterfeit from the genuine. ||13||
ਸਲੋਕੁਮਃ੧॥
Shalok, First Mahalaa:
ਸੀਹਾਬਾਜਾਚਰਗਾਕੁਹੀਆਏਨਾਖਵਾਲੇਘਾਹ॥
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਸ਼ੇਰਾਂ, ਬਾਜਾਂ, ਚਰਗਾਂ, ਕੁਹੀਆ (ਆਦਿਕ ਮਾਸਾਹਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੇ ਚਾਹੇ ਤਾਂ) ਘਾਹ ਖਵਾ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ (ਭਾਵ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਾਸ ਖਾਣ ਦੀ ਵਾਦੀ ਤਬਦੀਲ ਕਰ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ)।
Tigers, hawks, falcons and eagles-the Lord could make them eat grass.
ਘਾਹੁਖਾਨਿਤਿਨਾਮਾਸੁਖਵਾਲੇਏਹਿਚਲਾਏਰਾਹ॥
ਜੋ ਘਾਹ ਖਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਸ ਖਵਾ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ-ਸੋ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਰਾਹ ਤੋਰ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
And those animals which eat grass-He could make them eat meat. He could make them follow this way of life.
ਨਦੀਆਵਿਚਿਟਿਬੇਦੇਖਾਲੇਥਲੀਕਰੇਅਸਗਾਹ॥
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ (ਵਗਦੀਆਂ) ਨਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਟਿੱਬੇ ਵਿਖਾਲ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਰੇਤਲੇ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਡੂੰਘੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਬਣਾ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
He could raise dry land from the rivers, and turn the deserts into bottomless oceans.
ਕੀੜਾਥਾਪਿਦੇਇਪਾਤਿਸਾਹੀਲਸਕਰਕਰੇਸੁਆਹ॥
ਕੀੜੇ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹੀ (ਤਖ਼ਤ) ਉੱਤੇ ਥਾਪ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ (ਬਿਠਾ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ), (ਤੇ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹਾਂ ਦੇ) ਲਸ਼ਕਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਆਹ ਕਰ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
He could appoint a worm as king, and reduce an army to ashes.
ਜੇਤੇਜੀਅਜੀਵਹਿਲੈਸਾਹਾਜੀਵਾਲੇਤਾਕਿਅਸਾਹ॥
ਜਿਤਨੇ ਭੀ ਜੀਵ (ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ) ਜੀਊਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਸਾਹ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜੀਊਂਦੇ ਹਨ, (ਭਾਵ, ਤਦ ਤਕ ਜੀਊਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਜਦ ਤਕ ਸਾਹ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ, (ਪਰ ਜੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ) ਜੀਊਂਦੇ ਰੱਖਣੇ ਚਾਹੇ, ਤਾਂ 'ਸਾਹ' ਦੀ ਭੀ ਕੀਹ ਮੁਥਾਜੀ ਹੈ?
All beings and creatures live by breathing, but He could keep us alive, even without the breath.
ਨਾਨਕਜਿਉਜਿਉਸਚੇਭਾਵੈਤਿਉਤਿਉਦੇਇਗਿਰਾਹ॥੧॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜਿਵੇਂ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਹੈ, ਤਿਵੇਂ ਤਿਵੇਂ (ਜੀਵਾਂ) ਨੂੰ ਰੋਜ਼ੀ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
O Nanak, as it pleases the True Lord, He gives us sustenance. ||1||
ਮਃ੧॥
First Mahalaa:
ਇਕਿਮਾਸਹਾਰੀਇਕਿਤ੍ਰਿਣੁਖਾਹਿ॥
ਕਈ ਜੀਵ ਮਾਸ ਖਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ, ਕਈ ਘਾਹ ਖਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
Some eat meat, while others eat grass.
ਇਕਨਾਛਤੀਹਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਹਿ॥
ਕਈ ਪ੍ਰਣੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਈ ਕਿਸਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੁਆਦਲੇ ਭੋਜਨ ਮਿਲਦੇ ਹਨ,
Some have all the thirty-six varieties of delicacies,
ਇਕਿਮਿਟੀਆਮਹਿਮਿਟੀਆਖਾਹਿ॥
ਤੇ ਕਈ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਵਿਚ (ਰਹਿ ਕੇ) ਮਿੱਟੀ ਖਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
while others live in the dirt and eat mud.
ਇਕਿਪਉਣਸੁਮਾਰੀਪਉਣਸੁਮਾਰਿ॥
ਕਈ ਪ੍ਰਾਣਾਯਾਮ ਦੇ ਅੱਭਿਆਸੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਣਾਯਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਲੱਗੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ,
Some control the breath, and regulate their breathing.
ਇਕਿਨਿਰੰਕਾਰੀਨਾਮਆਧਾਰਿ॥
ਕਈ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਉਪਾਸ਼ਕ (ਉਸ ਦੇ) ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਆਸਰੇ ਜੀਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
Some live by the Support of the Naam, the Name of the Formless Lord.
ਜੀਵੈਦਾਤਾਮਰੈਨਕੋਇ॥
ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ (ਇਹ ਮੰਨਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ) ਸਿਰ ਤੇ ਦਾਤਾ ਰਾਖਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਸਾਰ ਕੇ ਆਤਮਕ ਮੌਤ) ਨਹੀਂ ਮਰਦਾ।
The Great Giver lives; no one dies.
ਨਾਨਕਮੁਠੇਜਾਹਿਨਾਹੀਮਨਿਸੋਇ॥੨॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਉਹ ਜੀਵ ਠੱਗੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
O Nanak, those who do not enshrine the Lord within their minds are deluded. ||2||
ਪਉੜੀ॥
Pauree:
ਪੂਰੇਗੁਰਕੀਕਾਰਕਰਮਿਕਮਾਈਐ॥
ਪੂਰੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਦੱਸੀ ਹੋਈ ਕਾਰ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ) ਮਿਹਰ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ,
By the karma of good actions, some come to serve the Perfect Guru.
ਗੁਰਮਤੀਆਪੁਗਵਾਇਨਾਮੁਧਿਆਈਐ॥
ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਮਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਾ-ਭਾਵ ਗਵਾ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
Through the Guru's Teachings, some eliminate selfishness and conceit, and meditate on the Naam, the Name of the Lord.
ਦੂਜੀਕਾਰੈਲਗਿਜਨਮੁਗਵਾਈਐ॥
(ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਬੰਦਗੀ ਵਿਸਾਰ ਕੇ) ਹੋਰ ਕੰਮ ਵਿਚ ਰੁੱਝਿਆਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾ-ਜਨਮ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
Undertaking any other task, they waste their lives in vain.
ਵਿਣੁਨਾਵੈਸਭਵਿਸੁਪੈਝੈਖਾਈਐ॥
(ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) ਨਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਸਾਰ ਕੇ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਪਹਿਨੀ ਖਾਈਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ (ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਾਸਤੇ) ਜ਼ਹਿਰ (ਸਮਾਨ) ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Without the Name, all that they wear and eat is poison.
ਸਚਾਸਬਦੁਸਾਲਾਹਿਸਚਿਸਮਾਈਐ॥
ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਸੱਚਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਗਾਵਿਆਂ ਸੱਚੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਵਿਚ ਜੁੜੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
Praising the True Word of the Shabad, they merge with the True Lord.
ਵਿਣੁਸਤਿਗੁਰੁਸੇਵੇਨਾਹੀਸੁਖਿਨਿਵਾਸੁਫਿਰਿਫਿਰਿਆਈਐ॥
ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਦੱਸੀ ਕਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਸੁਖ ਵਿਚ (ਮਨ ਦਾ) ਟਿਕਾਉ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ, ਮੁੜ ਮੁੜ ਜਨਮ (ਮਰਨ) ਵਿਚ ਆਈਦਾ ਹੈ।
Without serving the True Guru, they do not obtain the home of peace; they are consigned to reincarnation, over and over again.
ਦੁਨੀਆਖੋਟੀਰਾਸਿਕੂੜੁਕਮਾਈਐ॥
ਦੁਨੀਆ (ਦਾ ਪਿਆਰ) ਖੋਟੀ ਪੂੰਜੀ ਹੈ, ਇਹ ਕਮਾਈ ਕੂੜ (ਦਾ ਵਪਾਰ ਹੈ)।
Investing counterfeit capital, they earn only falsehood in the world.
ਨਾਨਕਸਚੁਖਰਾਸਾਲਾਹਿਪਤਿਸਿਉਜਾਈਐ॥੧੪॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਨਿਰੋਲ ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਕਰ ਕੇ (ਏਥੋਂ) ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਈਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੪॥

ਸਲੋਕੁਮਃ੧॥
Shalok, First Mahalaa:
ਤੁਧੁਭਾਵੈਤਾਵਾਵਹਿਗਾਵਹਿਤੁਧੁਭਾਵੈਜਲਿਨਾਵਹਿ॥
ਜਦੋਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ (ਭਾਵ, ਇਹ ਤੇਰੀ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕਈ ਜੀਵ ਸਾਜ਼) ਵਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਗਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ, (ਤੀਰਥਾਂ ਦੇ) ਜਲ ਵਿਚ ਇਸ਼ਨਾਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ,
When it pleases You, we play music and sing; when it pleases You, we bathe in water.
