ਵਜ਼ਾਪਸਬਕਾਰਆਜ਼ਮਾਈਕੁਨੇਮ॥੧੫॥
ਫਿਰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਰਖ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਏ ॥੧੫॥
‘Because that one possesses independent convictions and is endowed with intelligence.‘(15)
ਯਕੇਰਾਦਿਹਦਫ਼ੀਲਦਹਿਹਜ਼ਾਰਮਸਤ॥
ਇਕ (ਪੁੱਤਰ) ਨੂੰ ਦਸ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਮਸਤ ਹਾਥੀ ਦਿੱਤੇ
The one (the prince), who was wise, brought them (the seeds) to his home,
ਹਮਹਮਸਤੀਓਮਸਤਜ਼ੰਜੀਰਬਸਤ॥੧੬॥
ਜੋ ਮਸਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ੰਜੀਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਬੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ ॥੧੬॥
And also acquired one more whole seed of gram.(16)
ਦਿਗ਼ਰਰਾਦਿਹਦਅਸਪਪਾਸਦਹਜ਼ਾਰ॥
ਦੂਜੇ (ਪੁੱਤਰ) ਨੂੰ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਪੰਜ ਲੱਖ ਘੋੜੇ ਦਿੱਤੇ
It was conceived that he would sow the seed,
ਜ਼ਿਜ਼ਰਸਾਖ਼ਤਹਜ਼ੀਨਚੂੰਨਉਬਹਾਰ॥੧੭॥
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਸੁਨਹਿਰੀ ਜ਼ੀਨਾਂ ਬਣੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਬਹਾਰ ਦੀ ਰੁਤ ਵਾਂਗ ਸਜੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਸਨ ॥੧੭॥
And through that his intelligence could be adjudged.(17)
ਸਿਯਮਰਾਦਿਹਦਸ਼ੁਤਰਸਿਸਦਹਜ਼ਾਰ॥
ਤੀਜੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਲੱਖ ਊਠ ਦਿੱਤੇ
He sowed both the seeds in the soil,
ਹਮਹਨੁਕਰਹਬਾਰੋਹਮਹਜ਼ਰਨਿਗਾਰ॥੧੮॥
ਜੋ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਦੇ ਭਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਲਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਅਤੇ ਸੋਨੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਜਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ ॥੧੮॥
And sought the blessedness of Almighty.(18)
ਚੁਅਮਰਾਦਿਹਦਮੁੰਗਯਕਨੁਖ਼ਦਨੀਮ॥
ਚੌਥੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਇਕ ਦਾਣਾ ਮੂੰਗੀ ਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਧਾ ਦਾਣਾ ਚਣੇ ਦਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
A period of six months had passed, when,
ਅਜ਼ਾਮਰਦਆਜ਼ਾਦਆਕਲਅਜ਼ੀਮ॥੧੯॥
(ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) ਉਹ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਅਕਲਮੰਦ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਤੰਤਰ ਖ਼ਿਆਲਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਸੀ ॥੧੯॥
With the dawn of new season, the greenery sprouted.(19)
ਬਿਯਾਵੁਰਦਪੁਰਅਕਲਖ਼ਾਨਹਕਜ਼ਾ॥
ਉਹ ਅਕਲ ਦਾ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਰਖਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਘਰ ਲੈ ਆਇਆ।
He kept repeating the process for ten years,
ਦਿਗ਼ਰਨੀਮਨੁਖ਼ਦਸ਼ਬਬਸਤਨਅਜ਼ਾ॥੨੦॥
ਉਹ ਛੋਲਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਅੱਧੇ ਦਾਣੇ ਦੇ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਇਕ ਪੂਰਾ ਦਾਣਾ ਲੈ ਆਇਆ ॥੨੦॥
And increased the produce by looking after them skilfully.(20)
ਹਮੀਖ਼ਾਸ਼ਤਕੋਤੁਖ਼ਮਰੇਜ਼ੀਕੁਨਦ॥
(ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਸੋਚਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾਣਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੀਜ ਦਿਆਂ
By repeating the seeding for ten, twenty times,
ਖ਼ਿਰਦਆਜ਼ਮਾਯਸ਼ਬਰੇਜ਼ੀਕੁਨਦ॥੨੧॥
ਅਤੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੀਜਣ ਨਾਲ (ਆਪਣੀ ਅਕਲ ਦੀ) ਪਰਖ ਕਰ ਲਵਾਂ ॥੨੧॥
He accumulated great many heaps of grains.(21)
ਦਫ਼ਨਕਰਦਹਰਦੋਜ਼ਮੀਂਅੰਦਰਾ॥
(ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਉਹ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਬੀਜ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿਚ ਦਬ ਦਿੱਤੇ
Doing so he amassed a good amount of wealth,
ਨਜ਼ਰਕਰਦਬਰਸ਼ੁਕਰਸਾਹਿਬਗਿਰਾ॥੨੨॥
ਅਤੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਸ਼ੁਕਰ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਆਸ ਲਗਾ ਲਈ ॥੨੨॥
Which had come through those mounds of cereals.(22)
ਚੁਸ਼ਸ਼ਮਾਹਿਗੁਸ਼ਤੰਦਦਰਾਦਫ਼ਨਵਾਰ॥
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੀਜਿਆਂ ਜਦੋਂ ਛੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਹੋ ਗਏ,
Using this (money) he purchased ten thousand elephants,
ਪਦੀਦਆਮਦਹਸਬਜ਼ਹੇਨਉਬਹਾਰ॥੨੩॥
ਤਾਂ ਨਵੀਂ ਰੁਤ ਆਉਣ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਸਬਜ਼ ਰੰਗ (ਦੇ ਪੌਦੇ) ਨਜ਼ਰ ਪਏ ॥੨੩॥
Which were as tall as mountains and they walked like the water of river Nile.(23)
ਬਰੇਜ਼ੀਦਦਹਿਸਾਲਤੁਖ਼ਮੇਕਜ਼ਾ॥
(ਉਹ ਪੁੱਤਰ) ਦਸ ਸਾਲ ਤਕ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੀਜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੀਜਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ।
Also he bought five thousand horses,
ਬਪਰਵਰਦਹਓਰਾਬੁਰੀਦਨਅਜ਼ਾ॥੨੪॥
(ਉਸ ਨੇ ਫ਼ਸਲ ਨੂੰ) ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪਾਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਕਟਿਆ ॥੨੪॥
Who had gilded saddles and silver trappings.(24)
ਬਰੇਜ਼ੀਦਹੇਬੀਸਤਬਾਰਸ਼ਅਜ਼ੋ॥
ਜਦੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ (ਦਾਣਿਆਂ) ਨੂੰ ਦਸ ਵੀਹ ਵਾਰ ਬੀਜਿਆ,
Three thousand camels, which he had acquired,
ਬਸੇਗਸ਼ਤਹਖ਼ਰਵਾਰਦਾਨਹਅਜ਼ੋ॥੨੫॥
ਤਾਂ ਦਾਣਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਖਲਵਾੜੇ ਹੋ ਗਏ ॥੨੫॥
All of them had bags full of gold and silver at their backs.(25)
ਚੁਨਾਜ਼ਿਯਾਦਹਸ਼ੁਦਦਉਲਤੇਦਿਲਕਰਾਰ॥
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ (ਦਲੀਪ) ਪਾਸ ਬਹੁਤ ਦੌਲਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਦਿਲ ਨੂੰ ਸਕੂਨ ਮਿਲਿਆ।
With the monetary strength coming through one seed,
ਕਜ਼ੋਦਾਨਹਸ਼ੁਦਦਾਨਹਾਏਅੰਬਾਰ॥੨੬॥
ਦਾਣਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਦਾਣਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਢੇਰ ਲਗ ਗਏ ॥੨੬॥
He inhabited a new city called Delhi.(26)
ਖ਼ਰੀਦਹਅਜ਼ਾਨਕਦਦਹਿਹਜ਼ਾਰਫ਼ੀਲ॥
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਕਦ (ਰੁਪੈਇਆਂ) ਨਾਲ ਦਸ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਹਾਥੀ ਖ਼ਰੀਦ ਲਏ,
And the money coming through the moong seed he flourished the City of Moong,
