ਕਿਹੈਫ਼ਅਸਤਸਦਹੈਫ਼ਈਂਸਰਵਰੀ॥੬੭॥
(ਸਚਮੁਚ ਤੇਰੀ) ਸਰਦਾਰੀ ਤੇ ਅਫ਼ਸੋਸ ਹੈ, ਸੌ ਵਾਰ ਅਫ਼ਸੋਸ ਹੈ ॥੬੭॥
I feel sorry at your sovereignty.67.
ਕਿਅਜਬਸਤੁਅਜਬਸਤੁਫ਼ਤਵਹਸ਼ੁਮਾ॥
ਤੇਰਾ ਤਕਵਾ (ਸ਼ਰਾ ਦਾ ਆਧਾਰ) ਬਹੁਤ ਅਜੀਬ ਹੈ, ਅਜੀਬ ਹੈ।
I wonder very much regarding your faith
ਬਜੁਜ਼ਰਾਸਤੀਸੁਖ਼ਨਗੁਫ਼ਤਨਜ਼ਿਯਾਂ॥੬੮॥
ਸਚਾਈ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਹੋਰ ਬੋਲ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਨੁਕਸਾਨਦੇਹ ਹਨ ॥੬੮॥
Anything said against truth brings downfall.68.
ਮਜ਼ਨਤੇਗ਼ਬਰਖ਼ੂਨਿਕਸਬੇਦਰੇਗ਼॥
ਤੂੰ ਨਿਰਦਈ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਦਾ ਖ਼ੂਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨਾ ਚਲਾ
Do not be rash in striking your sword on helpless,
ਤੁਰਾਨੀਜ਼ਖ਼ੂੰਚਰਖ਼ਬਤੇਗ਼॥੬੯॥
(ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) ਤੇਰਾ ਵੀ (ਇਕ ਦਿਨ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਖ਼ੂਨ ਡੁਲ੍ਹੇਗਾ ॥੬੯॥
otherwise the Providence will shed your blood.69.
ਤੂਗ਼ਾਫ਼ਲਮਸ਼ੌਮਰਦਿਯਜ਼ਦਾਂਹਿਰਾਸ॥
ਹੇ ਬੰਦੇ! ਤੂੰ ਗ਼ਾਫ਼ਲ ਨਾ ਹੋ, ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਪਛਾਣ।
Do not be careless, recognize the Lord,
ਕਿਓਬੇਨਯਾਜ਼ਸਤੁਓਬੇਸਪਾਸ॥੭੦॥
ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਬੇਨਿਆਜ਼ (ਬੇਪਰਵਾਹ) ਹੈ ਅਤੇ (ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ਾਮਦ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਨਹੀਂ ॥੭੦॥
who is averse to greed and flattery.70.
ਕਿਊਬੇਮੁਹਾਬਸਤੁਸ਼ਾਹਾਨਿਸ਼ਾਹ॥
ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਨਿਡਰ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ ਹੈ।
He, the Sovereign of Sovereigns, fears none
ਜ਼ਿਮੀਨੋਜ਼ਮਾਂਰਾਸੱਚਾਏਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ॥੭੧॥
(ਉਹ) ਧਰਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਦਾ ਸੱਚਾ ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹ ਹੈ ॥੭੧॥
He is the Master of the earth and heavens.71.
ਖ਼ੁਦਾਵੰਦਿਏਜ਼ਦਜ਼ਿਮੀਨੋਜ਼ਮਾ॥
(ਉਹ) ਖ਼ੁਦਾ ਧਰਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਦਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹੈ।
He, the True Lord, is the Master of both the worlds
ਕੁਨਿੰਦਸਤਹਰਕਸਮਕੀਨੋਮਕਾਂ॥੭੨॥
ਉਹ ਹਰ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ॥੭੨॥
He is the Creator of all the creatures of the universe.72.
ਹਮਅਜ਼ਪਰਿਮੋਰੋਹਮਜ਼ਪੀਲਤਨ॥
(ਉਹ) ਕੀੜੀ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਹਾਥੀ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਨਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
He is the Presever of all, from ant to elephant
ਕਿਆਜਿਜ਼ਨਿਵਾਜ਼ਸਤੁਗ਼ਾਫ਼ਲਸ਼ਿਕਨ॥੭੩॥
ਨਿਤਾਣਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਤਾਣ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਗ਼ਾਫ਼ਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ॥੭੩॥
He gives strength to the helpless and destroys the careless.73.
ਕਿਊਰਾਚੁਇਸਮਸਤਆਜਿਜ਼-ਨਿਵਾਜ਼॥
ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਗ਼ਰੀਬ-ਨਿਵਾਜ਼ ਹੈ।
The True Lord is known as ‘Prtector of the lowly’
ਕਿਊਬੇਸਪਾਸਅਸਤਓਬੇਨਿਆਜ਼॥੭੪॥
ਉਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ਾਮਦ ਜਾਂ ਭੇਂਟ ਦਾ ਲੋੜਵੰਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਅਤੇ ਬੇਪਰਵਾਹ ਹੈ ॥੭੪॥
He is carefree and free from want.74.
ਕਿਓਬੇਨਿਗੂੰਅਸਤਓਬੇਚਗੂੰ॥
ਉਸ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਰੰਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਹੀ ਕੋਈ ਚਿੰਨ੍ਹ ਹੈ (ਅਰਥਾਂਤਰ- ਉਹ ਅਧੀਨ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਬੇਮਿਸਾਲ ਹੈ)।
He is Unassailable and Unparalleled
ਕਿਓਰਹਿਨੁਮਾਅਸਤਓਰਹਿਨਮੂੰ॥੭੫॥
ਉਹ ਹੀ ਰਾਹ ਦਸਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਰਸਤੇ ਉਤੇ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਚਲਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਵੀ ਹੈ ॥੭੫॥
He shows the path as a Guide.75.
ਕਿਬਰਸਰਤੁਰਾਫ਼ਰਜ਼ਕਸਮਿਕੁਰਆਂ॥
ਤੇਰੇ ਸਿਰ ਉਤੇ ਕੁਰਾਨ ਦੀ ਕਸਮ ਦਾ ਫ਼ਰਜ਼ (ਲਾਗੂ) ਹੈ।
You are strained by the oath of the Quran,
ਬਗੁਫ਼ਤਹਸ਼ੁਮਾਕਾਰਿਖ਼ੂਬੀਰਸਾਂ॥੭੬॥
ਇਸ ਲਈ (ਆਪਣੇ) ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਬਚਨ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਾ ॥੭੬॥
therefore, fulfil the promise made by you.76.
ਬਬਾਯਦਤੁਦਾਨਸ਼ਪ੍ਰਸਤੀਕੁਨੀ॥
(ਹੇ ਔਰੰਗਜ਼ੇਬ!) ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਬੁੱਧੀ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ
It is appropriate for you to become sane
ਬਕਾਰਿਸ਼ੁਮਾਚੀਰਹਦਸਤੀਕੁਨੀ॥੭੭॥
ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ (ਹੱਥਲੇ) ਕੰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੀ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ੍ਹਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਪੰਨ ਕਰ ॥੭੭॥
and do your task with severity.77.
ਚਿਹਾਸ਼ੁਦਕਿਚੂੰਬੱਚਗਾਂਕੁਸ਼ਤਹਚਾਰ॥
ਕੀ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਿ (ਤੂੰ) ਮੇਰੇ ਚਾਰ ਬੱਚੇ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ।
What, if you have killed my four sons,
ਕਿਬਾਕੀਬਿਮਾਂਦਸਤਪੇਚੀਦਾਮਾਰ॥੭੮॥
ਪਰ ਅਜੇ ਕੁੰਡਲੀਆ ਨਾਗ ਪਿਛੇ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੭੮॥
the hooded cobra still sits coiled up.78.
ਚਿਮਰਦੀਕਿਅਖ਼ਗਰਖ਼ਾਮੋਸ਼ਾਕੁਨੀ॥
ਇਸ ਵਿਚ ਕੀ ਮਰਦਾਨਗੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਚੰਗਿਆੜੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੁਝਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈਂ।
What type of bravery it is to extinguish the speak
ਕਿਆਤਸ਼ਦਮਾਂਰਾਬਦਉਰਾਂਕੁਨੀ॥੭੯॥
(ਪਰ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੂੰ) ਭੜਕਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਅੱਗ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਮਚਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈਂ ॥੭੯॥
of fire and fan the flames.79.
ਚਿਖ਼ੁਸ਼ਗੁਫ਼ਤਫ਼ਿਰਦੌਸੀਏਖ਼ੁਸ਼-ਜ਼ੁਬਾਂ॥
ਫ਼ਿਰਦੋਸੀ ਸ਼ਾਇਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਤਨੀ ਸੋਹਣੀ ਬੋਲੀ ਵਿਚ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ
Listen to this well-said quotation of Firdausi:
ਸ਼ਿਤਾਬੀਬਵਦਕਾਰਿਅਹਰਿਮਨਾ॥੮੦॥
ਕਿ ਜਲਦਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਵਿਚ ਕੀਤਾ ਕੰਮ, ਸ਼ੈਤਾਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਹੈ ॥੮੦॥
"The hasty action is the work of Satan".80.
ਕਿਮਾਬਾਰਗਹਿਹਜ਼ਰਤਆਯਮਸ਼ੁਮਾ॥
ਹੇ ਹਜ਼ਰਤ! ਜਦ ਤੂੰ ਆਪ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਵੇਂਗਾ,
I have also come from the abode of Your Lord,
ਅਜ਼ਾਂਰੋਜ਼ਬਾਸ਼ੀਵਸ਼ਾਹਿਦਹਮਾ॥੮੧॥
ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਗਵਾਹ ਆਪ ਬਣ ਜਾਵੇਂਗਾ। (ਅਰਥਾਤ ਸੱਚਾਈ ਦਾ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਲਗ ਜਾਏਗਾ) ॥੮੧॥
who will be the witness on the day of Judgement.81.
ਵਗਰਨਹਤੁਈਂਰਾਫ਼ਰਾਮੁਸ਼ਕੁਨਦ॥
ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਭੁਲ ਜਾਵੇਂਗਾ,
If you prepare yourself for the good action,
ਤੁਰਾਹਮਫ਼ਰਾਮੋਸ਼ਯਜ਼ਦਾਂਕੁਨਦ॥੮੨॥
ਤਾਂ ਰੱਬ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਭੁਲਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ॥੮੨॥
the Lord will give you an apt reward.82.
ਬਰੀਂਕਾਰਿਗਰਤੂਬਬਸਤੀਕਮਰ॥
ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਇਸ ਕੰਮ ਲਈ ਲਕ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਲਵੇਂਗਾ,
If you forget this task of Justice,
ਖ਼ੁਦਾਵੰਦਬਾਸ਼ਦਤੁਰਾਬਹਿਰਾਵਰ॥੮੩॥
ਤਾਂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ (ਇਸ ਦਾ) ਤੈਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਫਲ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ॥੮੩॥
the Lord will forget you.83.
ਕਿਈਂਕਾਰਨੇਕਸਤੁਦੀਂਪਰਵਰੀ॥
ਧਰਮ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਨਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਚੰਗਾ ਨੇਕ ਕੰਮ ਹੈ।
The righteous has to tread the path of truth and virtue,
ਚੁਯਜ਼ਦਾਂਸ਼ਨਾਸੀਬਜਾਂਬਰਤਰੀ॥੮੪॥
ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਪਛਾਣੇਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਂਗਾ ॥੮੪॥
but it is still better to recognize the Lord.84.
ਤੁਰਾਮਨਨਦਾਨਮਕਿਯਜ਼ਦਾਂਸ਼ਨਾਸ॥
ਮੈਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਪਛਾਣਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈਂ,
I do not believe that man recognizes the Lord,
ਬਰਾਮਦਜ਼ਿਤੋਕਾਰਹਾਦਿਲ-ਖ਼ਰਾਸ਼॥੮੫॥
(ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) ਤੇਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਦਿਲ ਦੁਖਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਕੰਮ ਹੋ ਚੁਕੇ ਹਨ ॥੮੫॥
who injures the sentiments of others through his action.85.
ਸ਼ਨਾਸਦਹਮੀਂਤੋਨਯਜ਼ਦਾਕਰੀਮ॥
ਕਿਰਪਾਲੂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਤੈਨੂੰ (ਕੁਝ) ਨਹੀਂ ਪਛਾਣਦਾ।
The Ture and Merciful Lord does not love you,
ਨਖ਼੍ਵਾਹਦਹਮੀਤੋਬਦੌਲਤਅਜ਼ੀਮ॥੮੬॥
ਤੇਰੀ ਇਤਨੀ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਅਤੇ ਦੌਲਤ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਮਝਦਾ ॥੮੬॥
though you have unaccountable wealth.86.
ਅਗਰਸਦਕੁਰਆਂਬਖ਼ੁਰਦੀਕਸਮ॥
ਜੇ ਤੂੰ (ਹੁਣ) ਕੁਰਾਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੌ ਕਸਮਾਂ ਵੀ ਖਾ ਲਏਂ,
Even if you swear a hundred times by the Quran,
ਮਰਾਏਅਤਬਾਰੇਨਈਂਜ਼ੱਰਹਦਮ॥੮੭॥
ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਜ਼ਰਾ ਜਿੰਨਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ॥੮੭॥
I shall never trust you.87.
ਹਜ਼ੂਰਤੁਨਆਯਮਨਈਂਰਹਸ਼ਵਮ॥
ਨ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਹਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਵਿਚ ਆਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਇਸ ਰਸਤੇ ਉਤੇ ਚਲਾਂਗਾ।
I cannot come to you and am not prepared to tread your path of oaths
ਅਗਰਸ਼ਾਹਬਖ਼੍ਵਾਹਦਮਨਆਂਜਾਰਵਮ॥੮੮॥
ਜਿਥੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਚਾਹੇਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਉਧਰ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਰ ਜਾਵਾਂਗਾ ॥੮੮॥
I shall go, wherever my Lord will ask me to go.88.
ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ਸ਼ਸ਼ਾਹ-ਸ਼ਾਹਾਨਿਅਉਰੰਗਜ਼ੇਬ॥
ਹੇ ਔਰੰਗਜ਼ੇਬ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ! ਤੂੰ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਹਾਸਲ ਹੋਣ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਭਾਗਵਾਨ ਹੈਂ।
You are king of king, O fortunate Aurangzeb
ਕਿਚਾਲਾਕਦਸਤਸਤਚਾਬਕਰਕੇਬ॥੮੯॥
ਤੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਫ਼ੁਰਤੀਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਗਾ ਘੋੜ-ਸਵਾਰ ਹੈਂ ॥੮੯॥
You are a clever administrator and a good horseman.89.
ਚਿਹੁਸਨੁਲਜਮਾਲਸਤਰਉਸ਼ਨਜ਼ਮੀਰ॥
ਤੂੰ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਰੂਪ ਵਾਲਾ, ਜਲਾਲ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਗੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਰ ਵਾਲਾ,
With the help of your intelligence and the sword,
ਖ਼ੁਦਾਵੰਦਿਮੁਲਕਅਸਤਸਾਹਿਬਿਅਮੀਰ॥੯੦॥
ਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਅਤੇ ਅਮੀਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹੈਂ ॥੯੦॥
you have become the master of Deg and Tegh.90.
ਬਤਰਤੀਬਦਾਨਿਸ਼ਬਤਦਬੀਰਤੇਗ਼॥
ਤੂੰ ਚੰਗੀ ਅਕਲ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਬੀਨ ਹੈਂ।
You are the acme of beauty and wisdom
ਖ਼ੁਦਾਵੰਦਿਦੇਗੋਖ਼ੁਦਾਵੰਦਿਤੇਗ਼॥੯੧॥
ਤੂੰ ਦੇਗ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਗ਼ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੈਂ ॥੯੧॥
You are the chief of chiefs and the king.91.
ਕਿਰੌਸ਼ਨਜ਼ਮੀਰਅਸਤਹੁਸਨੁਲਜਮਾਲ॥
ਤੂੰ ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਜ਼ਮੀਰ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਰੂਪ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ।
You are the acme of beauty and wisdom
ਖ਼ੁਦਾਵੰਦਿਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਿੰਦਏਮੁਲਕੋਮਾਲ॥੯੨॥
ਤੂੰ ਮੁਲਕ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਲ ਦਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਅਤੇ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ ॥੯੨॥
You are the master of the country and its wealth.92.
ਕਿਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਕਬੀਰਅਸਤਦਰਜੰਗਕੋਹ॥
ਤੂੰ ਵੱਡੀਆਂ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਾਂ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ ਅਤੇ ਲੜਾਈ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਬਤ ਵਾਂਗ ਅਹਿਲ ਹੈਂ।
You are most generous and a mountain in the battlefield
ਮਲਾਇਕਸਿਫ਼ਤਚੂੰਸੁਰੱਯਾਸ਼ਿਕੋਹ॥੯੩॥
ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਾਂ ਹਨ। ਤੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਦੀ ਚੋਟੀ ਤਕ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਹੈ ॥੯੩॥
You are like angels wielding high splendour.93.
ਸ਼ਹਿਨਸ਼ਾਹਅਉਰੰਗਜ਼ੇਬਆਲਮੀਂ॥
ਹੇ ਔਰੰਗਜ਼ੇਬ! ਭਾਵੇਂ ਤੂੰ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦਾ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ ਹੈਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਕਤ ਦਾ ਹਾਕਮ ਵੀ ਹੈਂ,
Though you are the king of kings, O Aurangzeb!
ਕਿਦਾਰਾਇਦੌਰਅਸਤਦੂਰਸਤਦੀਂ॥੯੪॥
ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਧਰਮ ਤੋਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਦੂਰ ਹੈਂ ॥੯੪॥
You are far from righteousness and justice.94.
ਮਨਮਕੁਸ਼ਤਨਮਕੋਹੀਆਂਪੁਰਫ਼ਿਤਨ॥
ਮੈਂ ਮੂਰਤੀ-ਪੂਜ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹਾਂ
I vanquished the vicious hill chiefs,
ਕਿਓਬੁਤਪ੍ਰਸਤੰਦਮਨਬੁਤਸ਼ਿਕਨ॥੯੫॥
(ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) ਉਹ ਬੁੱਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੂਜਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਬੁੱਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੋੜਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹਾਂ ॥੯੫॥
they were idol-worshippers and I am idol-breaker.95.
ਬਬੀਂਗਰਦਸ਼ੇਬੇਵਫ਼ਾਏਜ਼ਮਾਂ॥
(ਹੇ ਔਰੰਗਜ਼ੇਬ!) ਜ਼ਮਾਨੇ ਦੀ ਬੇਵਫ਼ਾਈ ਦਾ ਹਾਲ ਵੇਖ।
Look at the time-cycle,
ਪਸੇਪੁਸ਼ਤਉਫ਼ਤਦਰਸਾਨਦਜ਼ਯਾਂ॥੯੬॥
ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਪਿਛੇ ਪੈ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹਾਨੀ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ ॥੯੬॥
quite undependable whosoever it pursues, it brings his decline.96.
ਬਬੀਂਕੁਦਰਤਿਨੇਕਯਜ਼ਦਾਨਿਪਾਕ॥
ਉਸ ਪਾਕ ਅਤੇ ਨੇਕ ਰੱਬ ਦੀ ਕੁਦਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਵੇਖ,
Think of the power of the Holy Lord,
ਅਜ਼ਯਕਬਦਹਲਕਰਸਾਨਦਹਲਾਕ॥੯੭॥
ਜੋ ਇਕ ਜਾਂ ਦੋ ਤੋਂ ਦਸ ਲੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਮਰਵਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੯੭॥
which causes one persons to kill lakhs of people.97.
ਚਿਦੁਸ਼ਮਨਕੁਨਦਮਿਹਰਬਾਂਅਸਤਦੋਸਤ॥
ਦੁਸ਼ਮਨ ਕੀ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਰੂਪੀ ਦੋਸਤ ਮਿਹਰਬਾਨ ਹੋਵੇ।
If God is friendly, no enemy can do anything
ਕਿਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਿੰਦਗੀਕਾਰਿਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਿੰਦਹਓਸਤ॥੯੮॥
ਉਸ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਹੀ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ ॥੯੮॥
The generous action proceed from the merciful Lord.98.
ਰਿਹਾਈਦਿਹੋਰਹਿਨੁਮਾਈਦਿਹਦ॥
(ਉਹ) ਬੰਧਨ ਖ਼ਲਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਥ-ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਕ ਹੈ।
He is the Emancipator and the Guide,
ਜ਼ਬਾਰਾਬਸਿਫ਼ਤਆਸ਼ਨਾਈਦਿਹਦ॥੯੯॥
ਜੀਭ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੯੯॥
who causes our tongue to sing His Praises.99.
ਖ਼ਸਮਰਾਚੁਕੋਰਊਕੁਨਦਵਕਤੇਕਾਰ॥
(ਉਹ) ਵੈਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਾੜਾ ਕਰਮ ਕਰਨ ਵੇਲੇ ਅੰਨ੍ਹਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
In throubled times He withdraws the faculty of sight from the enemies
ਯਤੀਮਾਂਬਿਰੂੰਬੁਰਦਬੇਜ਼ਖ਼ਮਖ਼ਾਰ॥੧੦੦॥
ਅਨਾਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਨਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਕਸ਼ਟ ਦੇ (ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਘੇਰੇ ਤੋਂ) ਬਾਹਰ ਕਢ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੦੦॥
He releases without injury the suppressed and the lowly.100.
ਹਰਾਂਕਸਕਿਊਰਾਸਤਬਾਜ਼ੀਕੁਨਦ॥
ਹਰ ਉਹ ਆਦਮੀ ਜੋ ਸਚਾਈ ਦੀ ਕਮਾਈ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ,
He, who is truthful and follows the right path,
ਰਹੀਮੇਬਰੋਰਹਿਮਸਾਜ਼ੀਕੁਨਦ॥੧੦੧॥
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਦਾ ਵਰਤਾਓ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੦੧॥
the Merciful Lord is Graceful towards him.101.
ਕਸੇਖ਼ਿਦਮਤਆਯਦਬਸੇਦਿਲੋਜਾਂ॥
ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਦਿਲ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਵਿਚ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
He, who surrenders his mind and body to Him,
ਖ਼ੁਦਾਵੰਦਬਿ-ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ੰਦਬਰਵੈਅਮਾਂ॥੧੦੨॥
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਉਸ ਉਤੇ ਸੁਖਾਂ ਭਰੀ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੦੨॥
the True Lord is Graceful towards him.102.
ਚਿਦੁਸ਼ਮਨਕਜ਼ਾਂਹੀਲਹਸਾਜ਼ੀਕੁਨਦ॥
ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਕੀ ਬਹਾਨੇਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ,
No enemy can ever beguile him,
