ਅਨਾਦਿਅਗਾਧਿਬਿਆਧਿਆਦਿਅਨਾਦਿਕੋਮਨਾਈਐ॥
ਅਨਾਦਿ, ਅਗਾਧ, ਰੋਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੂਲ ਕਾਰਨ ਸਰੂਪ ਅਤੇ ਧੁਨੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਰੂਪ ਵਾਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ;
He is Beginningless, Unfathomable and Source of all beings that Beginningless Lord be worshipped.
ਅਗੰਜਅਭੰਜਅਰੰਜਅਗੰਜਗੰਜਕਉਧਿਆਈਐ॥
ਅਗੰਜ, ਅਭੰਜ, ਅਰੰਜ (ਰੰਜ ਰਹਿਤ) ਅਗੰਜ ਅਤੇ ਗੰਜ (ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ) ਰੂਪ ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ;
He is Indestructible, Unbreakable, griefless and Inexhaustible teasure, He should be meditated upon.
ਅਲੇਖਅਭੇਖਅਦ੍ਵੈਖਅਰੇਖਅਸੇਖਕੋਪਛਾਨੀਐ॥
(ਉਸ) ਅਲੇਖ, ਅਭੇਖ, ਅਦ੍ਵੈਸ਼, ਅਰੇਖ (ਰੇਖਾਰਹਿਤ) ਅਸ਼ੇਖ (ਪਰਿ ਪੂਰਨ) ਨੂੰ ਪਛਾਣਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
He is accountless, guiseless, without blemish, without mark nd without a remander, He should be recognized.
ਨਭੂਲਜੰਤ੍ਰਤੰਤ੍ਰਮੰਤ੍ਰਭਰਮਭੇਖਠਾਨੀਐ॥੧॥੧੦੪॥
ਭੁਲ ਕੇ ਵੀ ਯੰਤਰ, ਤੰਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਮੰਤਰ, ਭਰਮ ਅਤੇ ਭੇਖ ਨੂੰ ਧਾਰਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ॥੧॥੧੦੪॥
Even by mistake He should not be considered in Yantras, tantrasa, mantras, illusions and guises.1.104.
ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲਲਾਲਅਕਾਲਅਪਾਲਦਇਆਲਕੋਉਚਾਰੀਐ॥
(ਜੋ) ਕਿਪਾਲੂ, ਪਿਆਰਾ, ਅਕਾਲ, ਅਪਾਲ (ਪਾਲੇ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਰੇ) ਦਿਆਲ ਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ;
The Name of that Lord be uttered who is Merciful, Beloved, deathless, Patronless and Compassionate.
ਅਧਰਮਕਰਮਧਰਮਭਰਮਕਰਮਮੈਬਿਚਾਰੀਐ॥
ਅਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਵਿਚ, ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਭਰਮਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਅਤੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਵਿਚ (ਸਦਾ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ) ਵਿਚਾਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ;
We should reflect upon Him in all works whether irreligious, or fallacious.
ਅਨੰਤਦਾਨਧਿਆਨਗਿਆਨਧਿਆਨਵਾਨਪੇਖੀਐ॥
ਅਨੇਕ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਦਾਨਾਂ, ਗਿਆਨਾਂ, ਧਿਆਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਧਿਆਨਵਾਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ (ਉਸੇ ਨੂੰ) ਵੇਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ;
We should visualize Him in Infinite charities, in contemplation, in knowledge and in those who contemplate.
ਅਧਰਮਕਰਮਕੇਬਿਨਾਸੁਧਰਮਕਰਮਲੇਖੀਐ॥੨॥੧੦੫॥
ਅਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਕਰਮ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ, ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਵਿਚ (ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਜਾਣਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥੧੦੫॥
Forsaking the irreligious Karms, we should comprehend the Karms that are religious and spiritual.2.105.
ਬ੍ਰਤਾਦਿਦਾਨਸੰਜਮਾਦਿਤੀਰਥਦੇਵਕਰਮਣੰ॥
ਬ੍ਰਤ ਆਦਿ ਦਾਨ, ਸੰਯਮ ਅਤੇ ਤੀਰਥ-ਇਸ਼ਨਾਨ ਆਦਿ ਦੇਵ-ਕਰਮ,
The Karmas which come in the categories of fasts etc., charities, restraints etc., bathing at pilgrim-stations and worship of gods
ਹੈਆਦਿਕੁੰਜਮੇਦਰਾਜਸੂਬਿਨਾਨਭਰਮਣੰ॥
ਅਸ਼੍ਵਮੇਧ, ਕੁੰਜਰਮੇਧ, ਰਾਜਸੂਯ (ਯੱਗ) ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਭਰਮ ਹਨ।
Which are to be performed without illusion including the horse-sacrifice, elephant-sacrifice and Rajsu sacrifice performed by a universal monarch
ਨਿਵਲਆਦਿਕਰਮਭੇਖਅਨੇਕਭੇਖਮਾਨੀਐ॥
ਨਿਉਲੀ ਆਦਿ ਕਰਮ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਅਨੇਕ ਭੇਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ (ਨਿਰਾ) ਭੇਖ ਮੰਨਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
And the Neoli Karma of Yogis (cleansing of intestines) etc., may all be considered as Karmas of various sects and guises.
ਅਦੇਖਭੇਖਕੇਬਿਨਾਸੁਕਰਮਭਰਮਜਾਨੀਐ॥੩॥੧੦੬॥
(ਅਸਲ ਵਿਚ) ਅਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ (ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ) ਦੇ ਸਰੂਪ (ਭੇਖ) ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ (ਹੋਰ ਸਾਰੇ) ਕਰਮ (ਕੇਵਲ) ਭਰਮ ਹੀ ਸਮਝਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੩॥੧੦੬॥
In the absence of the pure Karmas related to the Invisible Lord, all the other Karmas he considered as illusion and hyposcrisy.3.106.
ਅਜਾਤਪਾਤਅਮਾਤਤਾਤਅਜਾਤਸਿਧਹੈਸਦਾ॥
(ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ) ਜਾਤਿ-ਪਾਤਿ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ, ਮਾਤਾ-ਪਿਤਾ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਅਤੇ ਜਨਮ ਲੈਣ ਤੋਂ ਮੁਕਤ ਸਦਾ ਸਿੱਧ ਹੈ;
He is without caste and lineage, without mother and father He is Unborn and ever perfect.
ਅਸਤ੍ਰਮਿਤ੍ਰਪੁਤ੍ਰਪਉਤ੍ਰਜਤ੍ਰਤਤ੍ਰਸਰਬਦਾ॥
(ਜਿਸ ਦਾ) ਵੈਰੀ, ਮਿਤਰ, ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਪੋਤਰਾ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਅਤੇ (ਜੋ) ਜਿਥੇ ਕਿਥੇ ਸਦਾ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹੈ;
He is without enemy and friend, without son and grandson and He is always everywhere.
ਅਖੰਡਮੰਡਚੰਡਉਦੰਡਅਖੰਡਖੰਡਭਾਖੀਐ॥
(ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਅਖੰਡ, ਮੰਡ (ਹੋਂਦ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ) ਚੰਡ (ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ਰੂਪ ਵਾਲਾ) ਡਰ ਨਾ ਮੰਨਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਖੰਡੇ ਜਾ ਸਕਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੰਡਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ;
He is Supremely Glorious and is called the crusher and breaker of the Unbreakable.
ਨਰੂਪਰੰਗਰੇਖਅਲੇਖਭੇਖਮੈਨਰਾਖੀਐ॥੪॥੧੦੭॥
(ਜੋ) ਰੂਪ, ਰੰਗ, ਰੇਖਾ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, (ਉਸ) ਅਲੇਖ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਭੇਖ ਵਿਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ॥੪॥੧੦੭॥
He cannot be placed in the garb of form, colour, mark and calculation.4.107.
ਅਨੰਤਤੀਰਥਆਦਿਆਸਨਾਦਿਨਾਰਦਆਸਨੰ॥
ਅਨੇਕ ਤੀਰਥਾਂ ਆਦਿ (ਦਾ ਇਸ਼ਨਾਨ ਕਰਨਾ) ਆਸਣ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਰਦ (ਦੇ ਪੰਚਰਾਤ੍ਰ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ) ਆਸਣ ਆਦਿ (ਕਰਨੇ)
Bathing at innumerable pilgrim-stations etc., adopting various postures etc., following the discipline of worship according to Narad Pancharatra
ਬੈਰਾਗਅਉਸੰਨਿਆਸਅਉਅਨਾਦਿਜੋਗਪ੍ਰਾਸਨੰ॥
ਬੈਰਾਗ, ਸੰਨਿਆਸ ਅਤੇ ਅਨੇਕ ਯੋਗ (ਧਾਰਨੇ ਅਤੇ) ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਦਾ ਭੋਗ ਕਰਨਾ,
Adoption of Vairagya (monasticism and asceticlism) and Sannyas (renunciation) and observing yogic discipline of olden times:
ਅਨਾਦਿਤੀਰਥਸੰਜਮਾਦਿਬਰਤਨੇਮਪੇਖੀਐ॥
ਅਨੰਤ ਤੀਰਥਾਂ (ਉਤੇ ਜਾਣਾ) ਅਤੇ ਬ੍ਰਤ ਨੇਮ ਆਦਿ ਸੰਜਮ ਕਰਨੇ ਵੇਖੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ
Visiting ancient pilgrim-stations and observing restraints etc., fasts and other rules
ਅਨਾਦਿਅਗਾਧਿਕੇਬਿਨਾਸਮਸਤਭਰਮਲੇਖੀਐ॥੫॥੧੦੮॥
(ਪਰ ਉਸ) ਅਨਾਦਿ, ਅਗਾਧ (ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ) ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਹੋਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਾਧਨ ਭਰਮ ਮਾਤਰ ਹੀ ਸਮਝਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੫॥੧੦੮॥
Without the Beginningless and Unfathomable Lord, all the above Karmas be considered as illusion.5.108.

The Charities of elephants etc.,

ਘੋੜੇ ਆਦਿ ਦਾ ਯੱਗ ('ਥਾਨੰ') (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ਲਈ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ) ॥੧॥੧੦੯॥

ਸੋਨੇ ਦਾ ਦਾਨ ਦੇਣਾ,
The charities like gold etc.,
ਸਮੁੰਦ੍ਰਆਦਿਇਸਨਾਨੰ॥
ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਆਦਿ ਦਾ ਇਸ਼ਨਾਨ ਕਰਨਾ,
The bath in the sea etc.,
ਬਿਸੁਵਾਦਿਆਦਿਭਰਮੰ॥
ਰਾਮੇਸ਼ਵਰ ਆਦਿ (ਪਰਮ ਧਾਮਾਂ) ਉਤੇ ਫਿਰਨਾ,
Wanderings in the universe etc.,
ਬਿਰਕਤਾਦਿਆਦਿਕਰਮੰ॥੨॥੧੧੦॥
ਬਿਰਕਤ ਆਦਿ ਕਰਮ ਕਰਨੇ (ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਲਈ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ) ॥੨॥੧੧੦॥
The works of austerities etc.,2.110.
ਨਿਵਲਆਦਿਕਰਣੰ॥
ਨਿਉਲੀ ਆਦਿ (ਕਰਮ) ਕਰਨੇ,
The Karma like Neoli (cleansing of intestines) etc.,
ਸੁਨੀਲਆਦਿਬਰਣੰ॥
ਨੀਲੇ ਰੰਗ ਦੇ (ਬਸਤ੍ਰ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰਨੇ)
Wearing of blue clothes etc.,
ਅਨੀਲਆਦਿਧਿਆਨੰ॥
ਅਨੀਲ (ਰੰਗ ਰਹਿਤ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ) ਆਦਿ ਵਿਚ ਧਿਆਨ ਲਗਾਣਾ,
Contemplation of Colourless etc.,
ਜਪਤਤਤਪ੍ਰਧਾਨੰ॥੩॥੧੧੧॥
(ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਭ ਵਿਚੋਂ) ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਕਰਮ ਉਸ ਦਾ (ਨਾਮ) ਜਪਣਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥੧੧੧॥
The Supreme Essence is the Remembrance of the Name.3.111.
ਅਮਿਤਕਾਦਿਭਗਤੰ॥
ਆਦਿ ਤੋਂ ਅਮਿਤ (ਅਸੀਮ) (ਉਸ ਦੀ) ਭਗਤੀ ਹੈ,
O Lord! The types of Thy devotion are unlimited,
ਅਵਿਕਤਾਦਿਬ੍ਰਕਤੰ॥
ਵਿਕਾਰ (ਅਵਿਕਤਅਵਿਕ੍ਰਤ) ਅਤੇ ਮੋਹ (ਬ੍ਰਕਤੰ) ਤੋਂ ਪਰੇ ਹੈ,
Thy affection is unmanifested.
ਪ੍ਰਛਸਤੁਵਾਪ੍ਰਜਾਪੰ॥
ਜਿਗਿਆਸਾ (ਪ੍ਰਛ) ਤੋਂ ਤੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ (ਪ੍ਰਜਾਪੰ) ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈਂ,
Thou becomest apparent to the seeker
ਪ੍ਰਭਗਤਾਅਥਾਪੰ॥੪॥੧੧੨॥
ਤੂੰ ਸਭ ਦਾ ਭੋਗ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਨਾ ਥਾਪਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੧੧੨॥
Thou art Unestablished by devotions.4.112.
ਸੁਭਗਤਾਦਿਕਰਣੰ॥
ਭਗਤਾਂ ਆਦਿ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ,
Thou art the doer of all the works of Thy devotees
ਅਜਗਤੁਆਪ੍ਰਹਰਣੰ॥
ਨਾ ਜੁੜਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਤੂੰ ਨਾਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ,
Thou art the destroyer of the sinners.
ਬਿਰਕਤੁਆਪ੍ਰਕਾਸੰ॥
ਵਿਰਕਤ (ਨਿਰਲੇਪ) ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੂੰ (ਆਪਣੇ ਤੇਜ) ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ,
Thou art the illuminator of detachment
ਅਵਿਗਤੁਆਪ੍ਰਣਾਸੰ॥੫॥੧੧੩॥
ਪਤਿਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ ॥੫॥੧੧੩॥
Thou art the destroyer of tyranny.5.113.
ਸਮਸਤੁਆਪ੍ਰਧਾਨੰ॥
ਸਭ ਵਿਚ ਤੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਹੈਂ,
Thou art the Sumpreme Authority over all
ਧੁਜਸਤੁਆਧਰਾਨੰ॥
ਧੁਜਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਤੂੰ ਧੁੱਰਾ ਹੈਂ,
Thou art the axle of the banner.
ਅਵਿਕਤੁਆਅਭੰਗੰ॥
ਤੂੰ ਵਿਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ,
Thou art ever Unassailable
ਇਕਸਤੁਆਅਨੰਗੰ॥੬॥੧੧੪॥
ਬਿਨਾ ਅੰਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਇਕ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਹੈਂ ॥੬॥੧੧੪॥
Thou art the only one Formless Lord.6.114.
ਉਅਸਤੁਆਅਕਾਰੰ॥
ਓਅੰਕਾਰ ਹੀ ਤੇਰਾ ਆਕਾਰ ਹੈ,
Thou Thyself manifestest Thy Forms
ਕ੍ਰਿਪਸਤੁਆਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਰੰ॥
ਹੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲੂ! ਤੇਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਹੈ।
Thou art Merciful to the deserving.
ਖਿਤਸਤੁਆਅਖੰਡੰ॥
ਪ੍ਰਿਥਵੀ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ('ਖਿਤਸ') ਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ ਤੂੰ ਵਿਆਪ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈਂ,
Thou pervadest the earth indivisibly
