ਆਜਾਨਬਾਹੁਸਾਰੰਗਧਰਖੜਗਪਾਣਦੁਰਜਨਦਲਣ॥
ਲੰਬੀਆਂ ਬਾਂਹਵਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ, ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਸਾਰੰਗ ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ, ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਲਣ ਵਾਲੇ,
The Lord with long arms upto knees, wearer of the bow and the sword for vanquishing the enemies.
ਨਰਵਰਨਰੇਸਨਾਇਕਨ੍ਰਿਪਣਿਨਮੋਨਵਲਜਲਥਲਰਵਣਿ॥੪॥੩੫॥
ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਪੁਰਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ, ਸੈਨਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਇਕ, ਨਵੇਂ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਜਲ ਥਲ ਵਿਚ ਰੰਮਣ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ! (ਤੈਨੂੰ) ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੩੫॥
The Sovereign of good people, hero and Master of armies Salutation to Him who Pervades water and lands.4.35.
ਦੀਨਦਯਾਲਦੁਖਹਰਣਦੁਰਮਤਹੰਤਾਦੁਖਖੰਡਣ॥
(ਹੇ) ਦੀਨਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਦਇਆ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ, ਦੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ, ਦੁਰਮਤ ਨੂੰ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ, ਦੁਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੰਡਣ ਵਾਲੇ,
He is the Merciful Lord of the lowly, destroyer of suffering, and vicious intellect and the refuter of suffering.
ਮਹਾਮੋਨਮਨਹਰਨਮਦਨਮੂਰਤਮਹਿਮੰਡਨ॥
ਸ਼ਾਂਤ ਰੂਪ ਵਾਲੇ, ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ, ਕਾਮ ਸਰੂਪ, ਪ੍ਰਿਥਵੀ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਿੰਗਾਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ,
He is greatly peaceful, captivator of the heart, alluring like Cupid and Creator of the world.
ਅਮਿਤਤੇਜਅਬਿਕਾਰਅਖੈਆਭੰਜਅਮਿਤਬਲ॥
ਅਮਿਤ ਤੇਜ ਵਾਲੇ, ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ, ਨਸ਼ਟ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੇ, ਨਾ ਭੰਨੇ ਜਾ ਸਕਣ ਵਾਲੇ, ਅਸੀਮ ਬਲ ਵਾਲੇ,
He is the Lord of Limitless Glory, without vices, indestructible, Invincible having Boundless Power.
ਨਿਰਭੰਜਨਿਰਭਉਨਿਰਵੈਰਨਿਰਜੁਰਨ੍ਰਿਪਜਲਥਲ॥
ਨਾ ਟੁੱਟਣ ਵਾਲੇ, ਨਿਡਰ, ਨਿਰਵੈਰ, ਅਰੋਗ, ਜਲ-ਥਲ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ,
He is Unbreakable, without fear and enmity, without malice and the monarch of waters and lands.
ਅਛੈਸਰੂਪਅਛੂਅਛਿਤਅਛੈਅਛਾਨਅਛਰ॥
ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਾਲੇ, ਛੋਹ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ, ਹੋਂਦ-ਰਹਿਤ, ਨਸ਼ਟ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੇ, ਨਾ ਛੁਪਣ ਵਾਲੇ, ਨਾ ਛਲੇ ਜਾ ਸਕਣ ਵਾਲੇ,
He is unassailable Entity, Untouchable, Eternal, Imperishable, Unhidden and without deception.
ਅਦ੍ਵੈਸਰੂਪਅਦ੍ਵਿਯਅਮਰਅਭਿਬੰਦਤਸੁਰਨਰਅਸੁਰ॥੫॥੩੬॥
ਅਦ੍ਵੈਤ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਾਲੇ, ਅਦੁੱਤੀ, ਅਮਰ, ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ, ਦੈਂਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ (ਤੁਸੀਂ) ਪੂਜਿਤ ਹੈ ॥੫॥੩੬॥
He is Non-dual Entity, Unique, Immortal and is deeply abored by gods, men and demons.5.36.
ਕੁਲਕਲੰਕਕਰਿਹੀਨਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਸਾਗਰਕਰੁਣਾਕਰ॥
(ਹੇ) ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਕਲੰਕ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ! (ਤੁਸੀਂ) ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਦੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਅਤੇ ਕਰੁਣਾ ਦੀ ਖਾਣ ਹੋ;
He is the ocean and source of Mercy and remover of blemishes from all.
ਕਰਣਕਾਰਣਸਮਰਥਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਕੀਸੂਰਤਕ੍ਰਿਤਧਰ॥
ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਵਿਚ ਸਮਰਥ, ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਦੀ ਮੂਰਤ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਰਜੀ ਹੋਈ (ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ) ਦਾ ਆਧਾਰ
He is the cause of causes, Powerful, Merciful Entity and prop of creation.
ਕਾਲਕਰਮਕਰਹੀਨਕ੍ਰਿਆਜਿਹਕੋਇਨਬੁਝੈ॥
ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲ ਦੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਹੋ; ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਬੁਝਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ
He is the destroyer of the actions of death and none knows His doning.
ਕਹਾਕਹੈਕਹਿਕਰੈਕਹਾਕਾਲਨਕੈਸੁਝੈ॥
ਕੀ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਕੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕਿੰਨਾ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਕੇ (ਉਸ ਦੀ) ਸੋਝੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ;
What doth he say and do? What facts doth reveal Him?
ਕੰਜਲਕਨੈਨਕੰਬੂਗ੍ਰੀਵਹਿਕਟਿਕੇਹਰਕੁੰਜਰਗਵਨ॥
ਕਮਲ-ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ, ਸੰਖ (ਕੰਬੂ) ਵਰਗੀ ਗਰਦਨ ਵਾਲੇ, ਸ਼ੇਰ ਵਰਗੇ ਲਕ ਵਾਲੇ, ਹਾਥੀ ਵਰਗੀ ਚਾਲ ਵਾਲੇ,
His eyes are like lotus, neck like conchshell, waist like lion and gait like elephant.
ਕਦਲੀਕੁਰੰਕਕਰਪੂਰਗਤਬਿਨਅਕਾਲਦੁਜੋਕਵਨ॥੬॥੩੭॥
ਕੇਲੇ (ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਟੰਗਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ) ਹਰਨ (ਵਰਗੀ ਚੁਸਤੀ ਵਾਲੇ) ਕਫ਼ੂਰ (ਵਰਗੀ ਸੁਗੰਧ ਵਾਲੇ) (ਅਜਿਹੀ) ਚਾਲ-ਢਾਲ ਵਾਲਾ ਭਲਾ ਅਕਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਹੋਰ ਦੂਜਾ ਕੌਣ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ? ॥੬॥੩੭॥
Legs like banana, swiftness like deer and fragrance like camphor, O non-temporal Lord! Who else can be without thee with such attributes?6.37.
ਅਲਖਰੂਪਅਲੇਖਅਬੈਅਨਭੂਤਅਭੰਜਨ॥
(ਜੋ) ਨਾ ਜਾਣੇ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਾਲਾ, ਲੇਖੇ ਵਿਚ ਨਾ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ, ਸਦਾ ਇਕਰਸ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ('ਅਬੈ') ਤੱਤ੍ਵਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ, ਭੰਜਨ-ਰਹਿਤ,
He is an Incomprehensible Entity, accountless, valueless, elementless and Unbreakable.
ਆਦਿਪੁਰਖਅਬਿਕਾਰਅਜੈਅਨਗਾਧਅਗੰਜਨ॥
ਆਦਿ ਪੁਰਖ, ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਮੁਕਤ, ਨਾ ਜਿਤੇ ਜਾ ਸਕਣ ਵਾਲਾ, ਥਾਹ ਨਾ ਪਾਏ ਜਾ ਸਕਣ ਵਾਲਾ, ਨਸ਼ਟ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲਾ,
He is the Primal Purusha, without vices, Unconquerable, Unfathomable and Invincible.
ਨਿਰਬਿਕਾਰਨਿਰਜੁਰਸਰੂਪਨਿਰਦ੍ਵੈਖਨਿਰੰਜਨ॥
ਵਿਕਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ, ਅਰੋਗ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਾਲਾ, ਦ੍ਵੈਤ ਭਾਵ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ, ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਤੋਂ ਪਰੇ,
He is without vices, Unmalicious Entity, Unblemished and transcendent.
ਅਭੰਜਾਨਭੰਜਨਅਨਭੇਦਅਨਭੂਤਅਭੰਜਨ॥
ਨਾ ਭੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਜਾ ਸਕਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੰਨਣ ਵਾਲਾ, ਭੇਦ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ, ਪੰਜ ਭੂਤਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ, ਨਾ ਟੁੱਟਣ ਵਾਲਾ,
He is the Breaker of the Unbreakable, Indiscriminate, Elementless and Infrangible.
ਸਾਹਾਨਸਾਹਸੁੰਦਰਸੁਮਤਬਡਸਰੂਪਬਡਵੈਬਖਤ॥
ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ, ਸੁੰਦਰ ਸਰੂਪ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਗੀ ਮਤ ਵਾਲਾ, ਮਹਾਨ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।
He is the king of kings, Beautiful, of propitious intellect, of handsome countenance and Most Fortunate.
ਕੋਟਕਿਪ੍ਰਤਾਪਭੂਅਭਾਨਜਿਮਤਪਤਤੇਜਇਸਥਿਤਤਖਤ॥੭॥੩੮॥
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਉਤੇ ਬੈਠੇ ਸੂਰਜ ਦਾ ਤੇਜ ਤਪਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਿਵੇਂ ਕਰੋੜਾਂ ਸੂਰਜਾਂ ਜਿੰਨਾ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਹੈ ॥੭॥੩੮॥
He is seated on His throne with the effulgence of millions of earthly suns.7.38.

ਚੌਹਾਂ ਚੱਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਚਕ੍ਰਵਰਤੀ ਰਾਜੇ (ਉਸ ਦੇ) ਰੂਪ ਤੋਂ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋਏ ਫਿਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Visualizing the Beauty of the Universal monarch all the four directions seem stunned.
ਕੋਟਸੂਰਸਮਤੇਜਤੇਜਨਹੀਦੂਨਚਵਗਨ॥
(ਜਿਸ ਦਾ) ਕਰੋੜਾਂ ਸੂਰਜਾਂ ਵਰਗਾ ਤੇਜ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ (ਸਗੋਂ) ਦੁਗੁਣਾ ਚੌਗੁਣਾ ਹੈ।
He hath the light of millions of suns, nay, even the light is two four times.
ਕੋਟਚੰਦਚਕਪਰੈਤੁਲਨਹੀਤੇਜਬਿਚਾਰਤ॥
ਕਰੋੜਾਂ ਚੰਦ੍ਰਮਾ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹਨ (ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪਣਾ) ਤੇਜ (ਉਸ ਦੇ ਤੇਜ ਦੇ) ਬਰਾਬਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਮਝਦੇ।
A million moons are astonished to fine their light very dim as compared to His Light.
ਬਿਆਸਪਰਾਸਰਬ੍ਰਹਮਭੇਦਨਹਿਬੇਦਉਚਾਰਤ॥
ਵਿਆਸ, ਪਰਾਸ਼ਰ, ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਵੇਦ (ਵੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ) ਭੇਦ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਸ ਸਕਦੇ।
Vyas, Parshar, Brahma and Vedas cannot describe His mystery.
ਸਾਹਾਨਸਾਹਸਾਹਿਬਸੁਘਰਿਅਤਿਪ੍ਰਤਾਪਸੁੰਦਰਸਬਲ॥
(ਉਹ) ਸ਼ਾਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਾਹ, ਸੁਘੜਤਾ ਦਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ, ਵੱਡੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਵਾਲਾ, ਸੁੰਦਰ ਅਤੇ ਬਲਵਾਨ,
He is the king of kings, the Lord of Wisdom, Supremely Glorious, Beautiful and Powerful.
ਰਾਜਾਨਰਾਜਸਾਹਿਬਸਬਲਅਮਿਤਤੇਜਅਛੈਅਛਲ॥੮॥੩੯॥
ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ, ਬਲਵਾਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ, ਅਸੀਮ ਤੇਜ ਵਾਲਾ, ਨਾ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਛਲਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ॥੮॥੩੯॥
He is the monarch of monarchs, the Lord of the Mighty having Unlimited Splendour, Unassailable and without deceprion.8.39.

ਗਹਿਓਜੋਨਜਾਇਸੋਅਗਾਹਕੈਕੈਗਾਈਅਤੁਛੇਦਿਓਜੋਨਜਾਇਸੋਅਛੇਦਕੈਪਛਾਨੀਐ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਕੜਿਆ ਨਾ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ 'ਅਗਾਹ' ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਛੇਦਿਆ ਨਾ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ 'ਅਛੇਦ' ਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਪਛਾਣਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
He, who cannot be grasped, He is called Inaccessible and He, who cannot be assailed is recognized as unassailable.
ਗੰਜਿਓਜੋਨਜਾਇਸੋਅਗੰਜਕੈਕੈਜਾਨੀਅਤੁਭੰਜਿਓਜੋਨਜਾਇਸੋਅਭੰਜਕੈਕੈਮਾਨੀਐ॥
ਜੋ ਤੋੜਿਆ ਨਾ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ 'ਅਗੰਜ' ਵਜੋਂ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਭੰਨਿਆ ਨਾ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ 'ਅਭੰਜ' ਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੰਨਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
He who cannot be destroyed is known as indestructible and He, who cannot be divided in considered as indivisible.
ਸਾਧਿਓਜੋਨਜਾਇਸੋਅਸਾਧਿਕੈਕੈਸਾਧਕਰਛਲਿਓਜੋਨਜਾਇਸੋਅਛਲਕੈਪ੍ਰਮਾਨੀਐ॥
ਜੋ ਸਾਧਿਆ ਨਾ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ 'ਅਸਾਧ' ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਛਲਿਆ ਨਾ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ 'ਅਛਲ' ਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
He, who cannot be disciplined, may be called incorrigible and He, who cannot be deceived is considered as Undeceivable.
ਮੰਤ੍ਰਮੈਨਆਵੈਸੋਅਮੰਤ੍ਰਕੈਕੈਮਾਨੁਮਨਜੰਤ੍ਰਮੈਨਆਵੈਸੋਅਜੰਤ੍ਰਕੈਕੈਜਾਨੀਐ॥੧॥੪੦॥
ਜੋ ਮੰਤਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਨਾ ਆ ਸਕੇ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ 'ਅਮੰਤ੍ਰ' ਕਰਕੇ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਯੰਤਰ ਵਿਚ ਨਾ ਆ ਸਕੇ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ 'ਅਜੰਤ੍ਰ' ਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਣਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥੪੦॥
He, who is without the impact of mantras (incantations) may be considered as Unspellable and He, who is without the impact of Yantras (mystical diagrams) may be known as Unmagical.1.40.
ਜਾਤਮੈਨਆਵੈਸੋਅਜਾਤਕੈਕੈਜਾਨਜੀਅਪਾਤਮੈਨਆਵੈਸੋਅਪਾਤਕੈਬੁਲਾਈਐ॥
(ਜੋ ਕਿਸੇ) ਜਾਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦਾ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ 'ਅਜਾਤਿ' ਕਰ ਕੇ ਦਿਲ ਵਿਚ ਜਾਣੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਪਾਤਿ (ਪੰਕਤੀ) ਵਿਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦਾ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ 'ਅਪਾਤ' ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਬੁਲਾਈਦਾ ਹੈ।
Consider Him as casteless in Thy mind, Who is devoid of caste, call Him lineageless who is devoid of lineage.
ਭੇਦਮੈਨਆਵੈਸੋਅਭੇਦਕੈਕੈਭਾਖੀਅਤੁਛੇਦ੍ਯੋਜੋਨਜਾਇਸੋਅਛੇਦਕੈਸੁਨਾਈਐ॥
(ਜੋ) ਭੇਦ ਵਿਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦਾ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ 'ਅਭੇਦ' ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਬੁਲਾਈਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਛੇਦਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ 'ਅਛੇਦ' ਕਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
He may be called as Indiscriminate, who is devoid of discriminations He, who cannot be assailed, may be spoken as Unassailable.
ਖੰਡਿਓਜੋਨਜਾਇਸੋਅਖੰਡਜੂਕੋਖਿਆਲੁਕੀਜੈਖਿਆਲਮੈਨਆਵੈਗਮੁਤਾਕੋਸਦਾਖਾਈਐ॥
ਜੋ ਖੰਡਿਆ ਨਾ ਜਾਏ, ਉਸ 'ਅਖੰਡ' ਜੀ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ (ਜੋ) ਖ਼ਿਆਲ ਵਿਚ ਨਾ ਆ ਸਕੇ, ਉਸ ਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਗ਼ਮ (ਚਿੰਤਾ) ਖਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
He, who cannot be divided, may be considered as indivisible He, who cannot be grasped in thought, always makes us sorrowful.
ਜੰਤ੍ਰਮੈਨਆਵੈਅਜੰਤ੍ਰਕੈਕੈਜਾਪੀਅਤੁਧਿਆਨਮੈਨਆਵੈਤਾਕੋਧਿਆਨੁਕੀਜੈਧਿਆਈਐ॥੨॥੪੧॥
(ਜੋ) ਯੰਤਰ ਵਿਚ ਨਾ ਆ ਸਕੇ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ 'ਅਜੰਤ੍ਰ' ਕਰ ਕੇ ਜਪਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ (ਜੋ) ਧਿਆਨ ਵਿਚ ਨਾ ਆ ਸਕੇ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਨ ਵਿਚ ਰਖ ਕੇ ਧਿਆਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥੪੧॥
He, who is without the impact of mystical diagrams, may be muttered as Unmagical He who doth not come in contemplation, may be contemplated upon and meditated.2.41.
ਛਤ੍ਰਧਾਰੀਛਤ੍ਰੀਪਤਿਛੈਲਰੂਪਛਿਤਨਾਥਛੌਣੀਕਰਛਾਇਆਬਰਛਤ੍ਰੀਪਤਗਾਈਐ॥
(ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ) ਛਤਰਧਾਰੀ, ਛਤਰਪਤਿ (ਛਤਰੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ) ਛੈਲ ਰੂਪ (ਸੁੰਦਰ ਰੂਪ) ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਿਥਵੀ ਦਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹੈ। (ਉਹ) ਪ੍ਰਿਥਵੀ (ਛੌਣੀ) ਦੇ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ, ਸੁੰਦਰ ਛਾਇਆ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਛਤਰੀ-ਪਤਿ (ਰਾਜਾ) ਕਰ ਕੇ ਗਾਵਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
He is sung as the canopied monarch, the Lord of canopies, a winsome entity, the Master and Creator of the earth and the superb support.
ਬਿਸ੍ਵਨਾਥਬਿਸ੍ਵੰਭਰਬੇਦਨਾਥਬਾਲਾਕਰਬਾਜੀਗਰਿਬਾਨਧਾਰੀਬੰਧਨਬਤਾਈਐ॥
ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਦਾ ਨਾਥ, ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਨੂੰ ਭਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ, ਵੇਦਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਥ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਚੇ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ। (ਉਹ) ਬਾਜੀਗਰ ਵਾਂਗ ਅਨੇਕ ਰੂਪ (ਬਾਨ) ਧਾਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ, (ਕਿਸੇ) ਬੰਧਨ ਵਿਚ ਨਾ ਪੈਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਦਸਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
He is the Lord Sustainer of the Universe, Master of Vedas depicted as Lord having discipline.
ਨਿਉਲੀਕਰਮਦੂਧਾਧਾਰੀਬਿਦਿਆਧਰਬ੍ਰਹਮਚਾਰੀਧਿਆਨਕੋਲਗਾਵੈਨੈਕਧਿਆਨਹੂੰਨਪਾਈਐ॥
ਨਿਉਲੀ ਕਰਮ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ, ਦੁੱਧ ਦੇ ਆਸਰੇ ਜੀਣ ਵਾਲੇ, ਵਿਦਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਚਾਰੀ (ਉਸੇ ਵਿਚ) ਧਿਆਨ ਲਗਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਜ਼ਰਾ ਜਿੰਨਾ ਵੀ ਧਿਆਨ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ।
The Yogis performing Neoli Karma (cleansing of intestines), those subsisting only on milk, learned and celibates, all meditate upon Him, but without an iota of getting His comprehension.
ਰਾਜਨਕੇਰਾਜਾਮਹਾਰਾਜਨਕੇਮਹਾਰਾਜਐਸੋਰਾਜਛੋਡਿਅਉਰਦੂਜਾਕਉਨਧਿਆਈਐ॥੩॥੪੨॥
(ਉਹ) ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ, ਮਹਾਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਮਹਾਰਾਜਾ ਹੈ, ਅਜਿਹੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਛਡ ਕੇ ਹੋਰ ਦੂਜੇ ਕਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਇਆ ਜਾਏ ॥੩॥੪੨॥
He is the king of kings and emperor of emperors, Who else should be meditated upon, forsaking such a Supreme monarch?.3.42.
ਜੁਧਕੇਜਿਤਈਆਰੰਗਭੂਮਕੇਭਵਈਆਭਾਰਭੂਮਕੇਮਿਟਈਆਨਾਥਤੀਨਲੋਕਗਾਈਐ॥
(ਉਹ) ਯੁੱਧ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਤਣ ਵਾਲਾ, ਰੰਗ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਫਿਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ, ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਭਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਟਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
His Name is sung in all the three worlds, who is the conqueror of wars, the mover on the stage and the effacer of the burden of earth.
ਕਾਹੂਕੇਤਨਈਆਹੈਨਮਈਆਜਾਕੇਭਈਆਕੋਊਛਉਨੀਹੂਕੇਛਈਆਛੋਡਕਾਸਿਉਪ੍ਰੀਤਲਾਈਐ॥
ਜੋ ਕਿਸੇ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ (ਤਨਈਆ) ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਨਾ ਕੋਈ ਮਾਤਾ ਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਭਰਾਤਾ ਹੈ, ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ (ਛੌਨੀ) ਦੀ ਛਾਇਆ ਨੂੰ ਛਡ ਕੇ (ਹੋਰ) ਕਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਲਗਾਈ ਜਾਏ
He hath neither a son, nor mother non brother He is the Support of the earth, forsaking such Lord whom should we love?
ਸਾਧਨਾਸਧਈਆਧੂਲਧਾਨੀਕੇਧੁਜਈਆਧੋਮਧਾਰਕੇਧਰਈਆਧਿਆਨਤਾਕੋਸਦਾਲਾਈਐ॥
ਸਾਧਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਧਣ ਵਾਲੇ, ਧਰਤੀ ('ਧੂਲਧਾਨੀ') ਨੂੰ ਆਧਾਰ ('ਧੁਜਈਆ') ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ, ਆਕਾਸ਼ ('ਧੋਮ-ਧਾਰ') ਨੂੰ ਟਿਕਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ('ਧਰੱਯਾ') ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਸਦਾ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਜਾਏ।
We should always meditate upon Him who is instrumental in all accomplishments, establisher of the earth and Support of the sky.
ਆਉਕੇਬਢਈਆਏਕਨਾਮਕੇਜਪਈਆਅਉਰਕਾਮਕੇਕਰਈਆਛੋਡਅਉਰਕਉਨਧਿਆਈਐ॥੪॥੪੩॥
ਉਮਰ ਦੇ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ, ਇਕ ਨਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਜਪਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ, (ਸਾਰੇ) ਕੰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਰਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਛਡ ਕੇ ਹੋਰ ਕਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਇਆ ਜਾਏ? ॥੪॥੪੩॥
When should we meditate upon forsaking the Lord who prolongs the age of our life, who causes the Name to be repeated and all other works to be done?4.43.
ਕਾਮਕੋਕੁਨਿੰਦਾਖੈਰਖੂਬੀਕੋਦਿਹੰਦਾਗਜਗਾਜੀਕੋਗਜਿੰਦਾਸੋਕੁਨਿੰਦਾਕੈਬਤਾਈਐ॥
(ਸਾਰੇ) ਕੰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ('ਕੁਨਿੰਦਾ') ਸੁਖ ਅਤੇ ਖ਼ੂਬੀਆਂ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ, ਹਾਥੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਗ਼ਾਜ਼ੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਗਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ, ਉਸ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ) ਨੂੰ ਕਰਤਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਦਸਿਆ ਜਾਏ।
He is called the creator, who completes all the errands, who gives the comfort and honour and who is the destroyer of warriors stout like elephants.
ਚਾਮਕੇਚਲਿੰਦਾਘਾਉਘਾਮਤੇਬਚਿੰਦਾਛਤ੍ਰਛੈਨੀਕੇਛਲਿੰਦਾਸੋਦਿਹੰਦਾਕੈਮਨਾਈਐ॥
ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਦੇ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ, ਘਾਉ ਅਤੇ ਧੁਪ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ, ਪ੍ਰਿਥਵੀ ਦੇ ਛਤਰਧਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਛਲਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦਾਤਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾਏ।
He is the wielder of bow, the Protector from all types of afflictions, Deceiver of the universal monarchs and Donor of everything without asking. He should be worshipped with diligence.
ਜਰਕੇਦਿਹੰਦਾਜਾਨਮਾਨਕੋਜਨਿੰਦਾਜੋਤਜੇਬਕੋਗਜਿੰਦਾਜਾਨਮਾਨਜਾਨਗਾਈਐ॥
ਦੌਲਤ (ਜ਼ਰ) ਨੂੰ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ, ਜਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਣ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਨ ਵਾਲੇ, ਜੋਤਿ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ੋਭਾ (ਜ਼ੇਬ) ਨੂੰ ਜਗਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ, ਗਿਆਨ ਦੀ ਜਿੰਦ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਜਾਣੇ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਾ ਗੁਣਗਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਏ।
He is the Giver of wealth, Knower of life and honour and sorter of light and reputation His Praises should be sung.
ਦੋਖਕੇਦਲਿੰਦਾਦੀਨਦਾਨਸਦਿਹੰਦਾਦੋਖਦੁਰਜਨਦਲਿੰਦਾਧਿਆਇਦੂਜੋਕਉਨਧਿਆਈਐ॥੫॥੪੪॥
ਦੋਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਲਣ ਵਾਲੇ, ਧਰਮ ਅਤੇ ਅਕਲ ('ਦਾਨਸ਼') ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ, ਦੁਖਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਲਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆ ਕੇ (ਫਿਰ) ਹੋਰ ਕਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਇਆ ਜਾਏ? ॥੫॥੪੪॥
He is the effacer of blemishes, the giver of religious discipline and wisdom and the destroyer of vicious people. Whom else should we remember?5.44.
