ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਥਾ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਹੀ
ਖਾਟਡਾਰਿਪਤਿਸੌਸ੍ਵੈਰਹੀ॥
ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਮੰਜੀ ਵਿਛਾ ਕੇ ਪਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਸੌਂ ਗਈ।
She talked to him as such and, then, setting the bed, went to sleep with her husband.
ਜਬਸੋਯੋਤਾਕੌਲਖਿਪਾਯੋ॥
ਜਦ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਤਾ ਵੇਖਿਆ
ਦ੍ਰਿੜਰਸਰਨਕੇਸਾਥਬੰਧਾਯੋ॥੮॥
ਤਾਂ ਰਸਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਦਿੱਤਾ ॥੮॥
When he went into slumber, she got up and tied him tightly with a rope.(8)
ਜਿਵਰਨਸਾਥਬਾਧਿਤਿਹਗਈ॥
ਉਸ ਨੂੰ (ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਰਸਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਸੋਇਰਹਿਯੋਜੜਸੁਧਿਨਲਈ॥
(ਉਹ) ਮੂਰਖ ਸੁੱਤਾ ਰਿਹਾ, (ਕੋਈ) ਜਾਗ ਨਾ ਆਈ।
He was tied, but he kept on sleeping and did not react.

ਮੰਜੀ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ,
ਜਾਨੁਕਮ੍ਰਿਤਕਸਿਰ੍ਰਹੀਪੈਸੋਹੈ॥੯॥
ਮਾਨੋ ਲੋਥ ਅਰਥੀ ਉਤੇ ਪਈ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੯॥

Tying him very hard, she toppled over the bed,
ਚੜਿਬੈਠੀਤਾਪਰਤੁਰਤੁਜਾਰਸੰਗਿਲਪਟਾਇ॥੧੦॥
ਯਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਲਿਪਟ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਉਤੇ ਤੁਰਤ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਬੈਠੀ ॥੧੦॥
And, taking her lover, she lay down on it.(10)

ਕਈ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਇਸਤਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਰ ਨੇ ਵਜਾਇਆ (ਅਰਥਾਤ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਕ੍ਰੀੜਾ ਕੀਤੀ)।
ਭਾਤਿਭਾਤਿਕੇਆਸਨਲਏਬਨਾਇਕੈ॥
ਭਾਂਤ ਭਾਂਤ ਦੇ ਆਸਣ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਏ।
She revelled in making love, adopting different postures.
ਚੁੰਬਨਆਲਿੰਗਨਲੀਨੇਰੁਚਿਮਾਨਿਕੈ॥
ਆਪਣੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਚੁੰਬਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਲਿੰਗਨ ਕੀਤੇ।
ਹੋਤਰਡਾਰਿਯੋਜੜਰਹਿਯੋਮੋਨਮੁਖਿਠਾਨਿਕੈ॥੧੧॥
(ਆਪਣੇ ਪਤੀ ਨੂੰ) ਹੇਠਾਂ ਸੁਟ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਮੂਰਖ ਨੇ ਦੜ ਵੱਟੀ ਰਖਿਆ ॥੧੧॥
Kissing and cuddling, she satiated herself but her husband kept lying quietly.(11)

ਹਾਹਿਹਾਇਤਰਪਰਿਯੋਉਚਾਰੈ॥
ਮੰਜੀ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਪਿਆ ਹਾਇ ਹਾਇ ਕਰਦਾ ਕਹਿਣ ਲਗਾ,
ਕਹਾਕਰਿਯੋਤੈਪੀਰਹਮਾਰੈ॥
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪੀਰ! ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕੀ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ।
Then he cried and said, ‘Oh, Peer, what have you done to me?’
ਤੁਮੈਤ੍ਯਾਗਮੈਅਨਤਨਧਾਯੋ॥
(ਅਗੋਂ ਪੀਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ) ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਛਡ ਕੇ ਹੋਰ ਕਿਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਵਾਂਗਾ।
ਜੈਸੋਕਿਯੋਤੈਸੋਫਲਪਾਯੋ॥੧੨॥
ਜਿਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ (ਤੂੰ) ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਓਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਫਲ ਪਾਇਆ ਹੈ ॥੧੨॥
The Peer responded, ‘You are tasting the fruit of your own action.’ -12

ਅਬਮੋਰੋਅਪਰਾਧਛਿਮਾਪਨਕੀਜਿਯੈ॥
(ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ) ਹੁਣ ਮੇਰਾ ਅਪਰਾਧ ਖਿਮਾ ਕਰ ਦਿਓ।
(Garoor Singh) ‘Please forgive me for my sins.
ਕਛੂਚੂਕਜੋਭਈਛਿਮਾਕਰਿਲੀਜਿਯੈ॥
ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਭੁਲ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਫ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿਓ।
‘I was misled. Please pardon me.
ਤੋਹਿਤ੍ਯਾਗਿਕਰਿਅਨਤਨਕਿਤਹੂੰਜਾਇਹੌ॥
(ਪੀਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ) ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗ ਕੇ ਕਿਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਵਾਂਗਾ।
‘Abandoning you, I will never go (to worship) anyone else.
ਹੋਪੀਰਤੁਹਾਰੇਸਾਲਸਾਲਮੈਆਇਹੌ॥੧੩॥
(ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ) ਹੇ ਪੀਰ ਜੀ! ਮੈਂ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਾਸ ਆਵਾਂਗਾ ॥੧੩॥
‘Oh, my Peer, for years to come, I will remain obedient to you.’(13)

ਜਾਰਭੋਗਦ੍ਰਿੜਜਬਕਰਿਲਯੋ॥
ਯਾਰ ਨੇ ਜਦ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਭੋਗ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ।
ਨ੍ਰਿਪਕੌਛੋਰਿਤਰੇਤੇਦਯੋ॥
ਤਾਂ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਹੇਠੋਂ ਛਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
When the paramour was gratified with sex, the Raja was let loose.
ਪ੍ਰਥਮਮੀਤਨਿਜੁਤ੍ਰਿਯਨੈਟਾਰਿਯੋ॥
ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਇਸਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਿਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਜਿਆ।
ਬਹੁਰਿਆਨਿਕੈਰਾਵਉਠਾਰਿਯੋ॥੧੪॥
ਫਿਰ ਆ ਕੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਉਠਾਇਆ ॥੧੪॥
She bade goodbye to the friend and then asked Raja to get up.(14)
ਮੂਰਖਕਛੂਭੇਵਨਹਿਪਾਯੋ॥
(ਉਸ) ਮੂਰਖ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਭੇਦ ਨਾ ਸਮਝਿਆ।
ਜਾਨਿਯੋਮੋਹਿਪੀਰਪਟਕਾਯੋ॥
(ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸਮਝਿਆ ਕਿ) ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪੀਰ ਨੇ ਪਟਕਾਇਆ ਹੈ।
The imprudent did not discern and thought that the Peer had toppled him over.
ਬੰਧਨਛੂਟੇਸੁਥਾਨਸਵਾਰਿਯੋ॥
ਬੰਧਨ ਤੋਂ ਛੁਟਣ ਤੇ (ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪੀਰ ਦੇ) ਥਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਵਾਰਿਆ।
ਤ੍ਰਿਯਕੌਚਰਿਤਨਜਿਯਮੈਧਾਰਿਯੋ॥੧੫॥
ਇਸਤਰੀ ਦੇ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਨਾ ਸਮਝ ਸਕਿਆ ॥੧੫॥
After being untied, he cleaned the place but he could not acquiesce the wife’s deviousness.(15)(1)

ਹਿਜਲੀ ਬੰਦਰ ਵਿਚ ਬਾਨੀ ਰਾਇ ਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ।
Baani Raae was the Raja of the pier of Hijlee.
ਮੇਘਮਤੀਰਾਨੀਤਹਾਰਤਿਕੇਰਹਤਸੁਬੇਸ॥੧॥
(ਉਸ ਦੀ) ਮੇਘਮਤੀ ਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਾਣੀ ਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਰਗੀ ਸੀ ॥੧॥
Megh Mati was his pretty wife.(1)
ਮਜਲਿਸਿਰਾਇਬਿਲੋਕਿਕੈਰੀਝਿਰਹੀਤ੍ਰਿਯਸੋਇ॥
ਉਹ ਇਸਤਰੀ ਮਜਲਿਸ ਰਾਇ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਮੋਹਿਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ।
The lady saw Majlis Raae and fell in love with him.
ਬੋਲਿਭੋਗਤਾਸੌਕਿਯੋਰਘੁਪਤਿਕਰੈਸੁਹੋਇ॥੨॥
(ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਬੁਲਾ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਭੋਗ ਕੀਤਾ। (ਅਗੋਂ) ਜੋ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਉਹੀ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ॥੨॥
She invited him and, God willing, had sex with him.(2)

ਕਿ ਕੋਈ ਯਾਰ ਸਾਡੇ (ਮਹੱਲ ਵਿਚ) ਆਇਆ ਹੈ।
When Baani Raae heard that a paramour had come to his house,

(ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸੋਚਿਆ ਕਿ) ਇਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਬਾਂਹਵਾਂ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ
ਗਹਰੀਨਦੀਬੀਚਬੁਰਵੈਹੌ॥੩॥
ਅਤੇ ਡੂੰਘੀ ਨਦੀ ਵਿਚ ਡੁਬਵਾਵਾਂਗਾ ॥੩॥

ਰਾਨੀਬਾਤਜਬੈਸੁਨਪਾਈ॥
ਜਦ ਰਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਲਗਾ
ਏਕਗੋਹਕੌਲਯੋਮੰਗਾਈ॥
ਤਾਂ ਇਕ ਗੋਹ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਗਵਾ ਲਿਆ।
