ਸਾਰਸਨਾਜਲਿਜਾਉਜਿਨਿਹਰਿਕਾਨਾਉਵਿਸਾਰਿਆ॥
ਜਿਸ ਜੀਭ ਨੇ ਹਰੀ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਵਿਸਾਰਿਆ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਜੀਭ ਸੜ ਜਾਏ।
Let that tongue, which has forgotten the Name of the Lord, be burnt.
सा रसना जलि जाउ जिनि हरि का नाउ विसारिआ ॥
ਨਾਨਕਗੁਰਮੁਖਿਰਸਨਾਹਰਿਜਪੈਹਰਿਕੈਨਾਇਪਿਆਰਿਆ॥੨॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਜੀਭ ਹਰੀ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਦੀ ਹੈ ਹਰੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
O Nanak, the tongue of the Gurmukh chants the Lord's Name, and loves the Name of the Lord. ||2||
नानक गुरमुखि रसना हरि जपै हरि कै नाइ पिआरिआ ॥२॥
