ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਨੂੰ ਛੂਹ ਕੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਕੋਸ਼ ਅਰਥ ਵੇਖੋ
ਕਬਹੂੰਰਣਜੂਝ੍ਯੋਨਹੀਕਛੁਦੈਜਸੁਨਹੀਲੀਨ॥
(ਜਿਹੜੇ) ਕਦੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਵਿਚ ਲੜੇ ਨਹੀਂ, ਅਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਦਾਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਵੀ ਯਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਖਟਿਆ,
Those who have never participated in the war in the battlefield and also have not earned approbation by offering bride.
कबहूं रण जूझ्यो नही कछु दै जसु नही लीन ॥
ਗਾਵਬਸਤਿਜਾਨ੍ਯੋਨਹੀਜਮਸੋਕਿਨਕਹਿਦੀਨ੨੨॥॥
(ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਪਿੰਡ ਵਸਦਿਆਂ ਵੀ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ, (ਫਿਰ ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ) ਯਮਰਾਜ ਨੂੰ (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ) ਕਿਸ ਨੇ ਕਹਿ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ॥੨੨॥
Who are not known by anybody as the residents of the village, it is, indeed, wonderful as to who hath given their address to Yama (the god of death)?22.
