ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਨੂੰ ਛੂਹ ਕੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਕੋਸ਼ ਅਰਥ ਵੇਖੋ
ਮਉਲੇਅੰਬਬਸੰਤਰੁਤਿਅਉੜੀਅਕੁਸੁਫੁਲੀਭਰਿਆ।
ਅੰਬ ਬਸੰਤ ਦੀ ਰੁਤ ਵਿਖੇ ਮੌਲਦਾ ਅਰ ਅੱਕ 'ਅਉੜੀ' (ਸੁੱਕੀ ਬਹਾਰ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਧੁੱਪਾਂ ਵਿਖੇ ਜਾਂ ਕਾਲ ਵਿਖੇ) ਫਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
In spring season, the mangoes blossom and akk the bitter wild plant of sandy region also becomes full of flowers.
मउले अंब बसंत रुति अउड़ी अकु सु फुली भरिआ ।
ਅੰਬਿਨਲਗੈਖਖੜੀਅਕਿਨਲਗੈਅੰਬੁਅਫਰਿਆ।
ਅੰਬ ਨੂੰ ਖੱਖੜੀਆਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਗਦੀਆਂ, ਅੱਕ ਨਾਲ ਅੰਬਾਂ ਦੇ ਫਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਗਦੇ (ਉਹ ਫਲਿਆ ਬੀ) ਅਫਲਿਆ ਹੈ, (ਭਾਵ ਆਪੋ ਆਪਣਾ ਸੁਭਾਵ ਵਰਤਦੇ ਹਨ)।
The pod of akk cannot produce mango and fruitless akk cannot grow on mango tree.
अंबि न लगै खखड़ी अकि न लगै अंबु अफरिआ ।
ਕਾਲੀਕੋਇਲਅੰਬਵਣਿਅਕਿਤਿਡੁਚਿਤੁਮਿਤਾਲਾਹਰਿਆ।
ਕਾਲੀ ਕੋਇਲ ਅੰਬ ਦੇ ਬੂਟੇ ਨੂੰ ਪਸੰਦ ਰਖਦੀ ਹੈ, ਅਕਤਿੱਡੇ ਦਾ ਚਿੱਤ (ਅੱਕ) ਮਿੱਤ੍ਰ ਨੇ ਹਰ ਲੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
Nightingale sitting on mango tree is black and the grosshopper of akk is speckled one or green.
काली कोइल अंब वणि अकितिडु चितु मिताला हरिआ ।
ਮਨਪੰਖੇਰੂਬਿਰਖਭੇਦੁਸੰਗਸੁਭਾਉਸੋਈਫਲੁਧਰਿਆ।
(ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤ) ਮਨ ਪੰਛੀ ਹੈ ਬਿਰਛਾਂ ਦੇ (ਸੰਗਤ ਦੇ) ਭੇਦ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਜਿਹੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਦਾ ਸੁਭਾਉ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਿਹਾ ਹੀ ਫਲ ਖਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। (ਯਥਾ:-”ਕਬੀਰ ਮਨੁ ਪੰਖੀ ਭਇਓ ਉਡਿ ਉਡਿ ਦਹਦਿਸ ਜਾਇ॥ ਜੋ ਜੈਸੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਮਿਲੈ ਸੋ ਤੈਸੋ ਫਲੁ ਖਾਇ॥”
Mind is a bird and due to difference of the results of different company, it gets the fruit of the tree it chooses to sit upon.
मन पंखेरू बिरख भेदु संग सुभाउ सोई फलु धरिआ ।
ਗੁਰਮਤਿਡਰਦਾਸਾਧਸੰਗਿਦੁਰਮਤਿਸੰਗਿਅਸਾਧਨਡਰਿਆ।
ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਵਾਲਾ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ (ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਤੋਂ) ਡਰਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਦੁਰਮਤਿ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਸਾਧਾਂ (ਅਰਥਾਤ ਬੁਰਿਆਂ) ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਥੋਂ ਡਰਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।
Mind is scared of holy congregation and the wisdom of the Guru but is not afraid of evil company and evil intellect i.e. it does not want to go in good company and takes interest in the evil company.
गुरमति डरदा साधसंगि दुरमति संगि असाध न डरिआ ।
ਭਗਤਿਵਛਲੁਭੀਆਖੀਐਪਤਿਤਉਧਾਰਣਿਪਤਿਤਉਧਰਿਆ।
(ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ਰ) ਭਗਤ ਵੱਛਲ ਬੀ ਕਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਰ ਪਤਿਤ ਉਧਾਰਣ ਭੀ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੈ।
God is said to be loving towards saints and liberator of the fallen ones.
भगति वछलु भी आखीऐ पतित उधारणि पतित उधरिआ ।
ਜੋਤਿਸੁਭਾਣਾਸੋਈਤਰਿਆ੮।।
ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹੋ ਤਰ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
He has salvaged many fallen pepole and only he gets across who is accepted by Him.
