ਜਿਨੀਅੰਦਰੁਭਾਲਿਆਗੁਰਸਬਦਿਸੁਹਾਵੈ॥
ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਮਨ ਖੋਜਿਆ ਹੈ,
Those who search their inner beings, through the Word of the Guru's Shabad, are exalted and adorned.
जिनी अंदरु भालिआ गुर सबदि सुहावै ॥
ਜੋਇਛਨਿਸੋਪਾਇਦੇਹਰਿਨਾਮੁਧਿਆਵੈ॥
ਉਹ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਮਨ-ਇੱਛਤ ਫਲ ਪਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
They obtain what they wish for, meditating on the Lord's Name.
जो इछनि सो पाइदे हरि नामु धिआवै ॥
ਜਿਸਨੋਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਕਰੇਤਿਸੁਗੁਰੁਮਿਲੈਸੋਹਰਿਗੁਣਗਾਵੈ॥
ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮਿਹਰ ਕਰੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
One who is blessed by God's Grace, meets with the Guru; he sings the Glorious Praises of the Lord.
जिस नो क्रिपा करे तिसु गुरु मिलै सो हरि गुण गावै ॥
ਧਰਮਰਾਇਤਿਨਕਾਮਿਤੁਹੈਜਮਮਗਿਨਪਾਵੈ॥
ਧਰਮਰਾਜ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਜਮ ਦੇ ਰਾਹ ਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾਂਦਾ।
The Righteous Judge of Dharma is his friend; he does not have to walk on the Path of Death.
धरम राइ तिन का मितु है जम मगि न पावै ॥
ਹਰਿਨਾਮੁਧਿਆਵਹਿਦਿਨਸੁਰਾਤਿਹਰਿਨਾਮਿਸਮਾਵੈ॥੧੪॥
ਉਹ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਜੁੜੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੧੪॥
He meditates on the Lord's Name, day and night; he is absorbed and immersed in the Lord's Name. ||14||
हरि नामु धिआवहि दिनसु राति हरि नामि समावै ॥१४॥
