ਹਰਿਹਰਿਜਨਕੈਮਾਲੁਖਜੀਨਾ॥
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਭਗਤ ਦੇ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਮਾਲ ਧਨ ਹੈ,
The Lord's Name, Har, Har, is the treasure of wealth of His servants.
हरि हरि जन कै मालु खजीना ॥
ਹਰਿਧਨੁਜਨਕਉਆਪਿਪ੍ਰਭਿਦੀਨਾ॥
ਇਹ ਨਾਮ-ਰੂਪੀ ਧਨ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਆਪ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
The treasure of the Lord has been bestowed on His servants by God Himself.
हरि धनु जन कउ आपि प्रभि दीना ॥
ਹਰਿਹਰਿਜਨਕੈਓਟਸਤਾਣੀ॥
ਭਗਤ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ (ਹੀ) ਤਕੜਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਹੈ,
The Lord, Har, Har is the All-powerful Protection of His servants.
हरि हरि जन कै ओट सताणी ॥
ਹਰਿਪ੍ਰਤਾਪਿਜਨਅਵਰਨਜਾਣੀ॥
ਭਗਤਾਂ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਨਾਲ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਆਸਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਤੱਕਿਆ।
His servants know no other than the Lord's Magnificence.
हरि प्रतापि जन अवर न जाणी ॥
ਓਤਿਪੋਤਿਜਨਹਰਿਰਸਿਰਾਤੇ॥
ਭਗਤ ਜਨ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਨਾਮ-ਰਸ ਵਿਚ ਪੂਰੇ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਭਿੱਜੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ,
Through and through, His servants are imbued with the Lord's Love.
ओति पोति जन हरि रसि राते ॥
ਸੁੰਨਸਮਾਧਿਨਾਮਰਸਮਾਤੇ॥
(ਅਤੇ) ਨਾਮ-ਰਸ ਦੇ ਮੱਤੇ ਹੋਏ (ਮਨ ਦਾ ਉਹ) ਟਿਕਾਉ (ਮਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ) ਜਿਥੇ ਕੋਈ ਫੁਰਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ।
In deepest Samaadhi, they are intoxicated with the essence of the Naam.
सुंन समाधि नाम रस माते ॥
ਆਠਪਹਰਜਨੁਹਰਿਹਰਿਜਪੈ॥
(ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ) ਭਗਤ ਅੱਠੇ ਪਹਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਜਪਦਾ ਹੈ,
Twenty-four hours a day, His servants chant Har, Har.
आठ पहर जनु हरि हरि जपै ॥
ਹਰਿਕਾਭਗਤੁਪ੍ਰਗਟੁਨਹੀਛਪੈ॥
(ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ) ਭਗਤ ਉੱਘਾ (ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ) ਲੁਕਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ।
The devotees of the Lord are known and respected; they do not hide in secrecy.
हरि का भगतु प्रगटु नही छपै ॥
ਹਰਿਕੀਭਗਤਿਮੁਕਤਿਬਹੁਕਰੇ॥
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ (ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ) ਖ਼ਲਾਸੀ ਦਿਵਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ;
Through devotion to the Lord, many have been liberated.
हरि की भगति मुकति बहु करे ॥
ਨਾਨਕਜਨਸੰਗਿਕੇਤੇਤਰੇ॥੭॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਭਗਤ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਕਈ ਹੋਰ (ਭੀ) ਤਰ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੭॥
O Nanak, along with His servants, many others are saved. ||7||
नानक जन संगि केते तरे ॥७॥
