ਤਾਂ ਕਾਮ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਾੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
On the sight of a Gharbi Rai, she felt her passions rousing.

Sending a maid she called him over,
ਅਧਿਕਹ੍ਰਿਦੈਹਰਖਾਇਕਾਮਕੇਲਤਾਸੌਕਿਯੋ॥੩॥
ਅਤੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਰਤੀ-ਕ੍ਰੀੜਾ ਕੀਤੀ ॥੩॥
And with contentment pampered in sex plays.(3)

ਕਈ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਆਸਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਚੁੰਬਨ ਲਏ।
She adopted invariable postures and kissed him a lot.
ਚਿਮਟਿਚਿਮਟਿਤਾਸੌਰਮੈਛਿਨਿਕਨਛੋਰਿਯੋਜਾਇ॥੪॥
ਚਿੰਮਟ ਚਿੰਮਟ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਰਮਣ ਕਰਦੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਛਿਣ ਭਰ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਛਡਦੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ॥੪॥

(ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਯਾਰ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਚੰਗਾ ਲਗਿਆ
ਰਾਜਾਕੌਮਨਤੇਬਿਸਰਾਯੋ॥
ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਨ ਤੋਂ ਭੁਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
She fell for this friend so much that she wiped out love for Raja.
ਮਨਬਚਕ੍ਰਮਤਾਹੀਕੀਭਈ॥
(ਉਹ) ਮਨ, ਬਚ ਅਤੇ ਕਰਮ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ।
ਪਰਤ੍ਰਿਯਤੇਨਿਜੁਤ੍ਰਿਯਹ੍ਵੈਗਈ॥੫॥
ਉਹ (ਉਸ ਲਈ) ਪਰਾਈ ਇਸਤਰੀ ਦੀ ਥਾਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਇਸਤਰੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ ॥੫॥
Both, in deeds and talks, she became his and, instead of a kept-woman, she turned out as his woman.(5)
ਨਿਸੁਦਿਨਰਹਤਧਾਮਤਿਹਪਰੀ॥
ਰਾਤ ਦਿਨ ਉਸੇ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਪਈ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ,
ਜਨੁਤਿਹਜੀਤਿਸੁਯੰਬਰਬਰੀ॥
ਮਾਨੋ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਅੰਬਰ ਵਿਚ ਜਿਤ ਕੇ ਵਰਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ।
Now she began to remain in his house day and night and it appeared as if he had won her in the swayamber ceremony for the selection of a husband.
ਰਾਜਾਕੇਤ੍ਰਿਯਨਿਕਟਨਆਵੈ॥
(ਉਹ) ਇਸਤਰੀ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਸੀ
ਤਾਕੇਸੰਗਅਤਿਕੇਲਕਮਾਵੈ॥੬॥
ਅਤੇ ਉਸ (ਯਾਰ) ਨਾਲ ਬਹੁਤ ਕਾਮ-ਕ੍ਰੀੜਾ ਕਰਦੀ ਸੀ ॥੬॥
The woman would not come near Raja but enjoyed lovemaking with him (the friend).(6)
ਚੁੰਬਨਔਰਅਲਿੰਗਨਦੇਈ॥
(ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਚੁੰਬਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਲਿੰਗਨ ਦਿੰਦੀ
ਭਾਤਿਭਾਤਿਕੈਆਸਨਲੇਈ॥
ਅਤੇ ਭਾਂਤ ਭਾਂਤ ਦੇ ਆਸਨ ਮਾਣਦੀ।
By reciprocating the kisses and postures, she would take assorted positions.
ਹਰਖਠਾਨਿਤ੍ਰਿਯਕੇਲਕਮਾਵੈ॥
ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ ਹੋ ਕੇ (ਉਹ) ਇਸਤਰੀ ਕਾਮ-ਕ੍ਰੀੜਾ ਕਰਦੀ ਸੀ
ਕਾਮਰੀਤਿਕੀਪ੍ਰੀਤਿਜਤਾਵੈ॥੭॥
ਅਤੇ ਕਾਮ-ਕਲਾ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦੀ ਸੀ ॥੭॥
She would enjoy heartfelt sex, and, through the art oflove-making, would render her affections.(7)
ਕਿਨੀਰਾਵਸੋਭੇਦਜਤਾਵਾ॥
ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਦ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਦਸ ਦਿੱਤੀ
ਕੋਊਜਾਰਤਿਹਾਰੇਆਵਾ॥
ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ (ਘਰ) ਕੋਈ ਯਾਰ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Some body went and disclosed to Raja, ‘A paramour comes to your house.
ਰਾਜਾਤਵਤ੍ਰਿਯਦਯੋਭੁਲਾਈ॥
ਹੇ ਰਾਜਨ! (ਤੈਨੂੰ) ਤੇਰੀ ਇਸਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਭੁਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ
ਜਾਰਸਾਥਅਤਿਪ੍ਰੀਤਿਲਗਾਈ॥੮॥
ਅਤੇ ਯਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਬਹੁਤ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਪਾਲਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ॥੮॥
‘Dear Raja, the woman has forgotten you and is in love with a friend.(8)

ਅਤੇ ਉਧਰ (ਤੇਰੀ) ਰਾਣੀ ਇਕ ਯਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਆਨੰਦ ਪੂਰਵਕ ਭੋਗ ਵਿਲਾਸ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ॥੯॥
‘On the other side Rani is, enjoyably, involved with her paramour.’(9)

ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੀ ਗੱਲ ਕੰਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਣੀ
ਕਾਢਿਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨਹਾਥਮੈਧਰੀ॥
ਅਤੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ ਕਢ ਕੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਲੈ ਲਈ।
After learning the facts, Raja unsheathed his sword.
ਰਾਜਾਗ੍ਰਿਹਰਾਨੀਕੇਆਏ॥
ਰਾਜਾ ਰਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਮਹੱਲ ਵਿਚ ਆਇਆ
ਰਖਵਾਰੇਚਹੂੰਓਰਬੈਠਾਏ॥੧੦॥
ਅਤੇ ਚੌਹਾਂ ਪਾਸੇ ਰਖਵਾਲੇ ਬਿਠਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ ॥੧੦॥
Raja went to the palace of the Rani and, on all the four sides, he put the guards.(10)
ਸਖੀਏਕਲਖਿਭੇਦਸੁਪਾਯੋ॥
(ਰਾਣੀ ਦੀ) ਇਕ ਸਖੀ ਨੇ ਭੇਦ ਸਮਝ ਲਿਆ
ਸੁਘਰਿਕੁਅਰਿਸੌਜਾਇਜਤਾਯੋ॥
ਅਤੇ ਸੁਘਰਿ ਕੁਅਰਿ ਨੂੰ ਜਾ ਦਸਿਆ।
One of the maids came to know the secret and went and told Sughar Kumari’
ਪੌਢੀਕਹਾਮੀਤਸੌਪ੍ਯਾਰੀ॥
ਹੇ ਪਿਆਰੀ! (ਤੂੰ) ਮਿਤਰ ਨਾਲ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਲੇਟੀ ਪਈ ਹੈਂ।
ਤੋਪਰਕਰੀਰਾਵਰਖਵਾਰੀ॥੧੧॥
ਤੇਰੇ ਉਤੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਰਾ ਬਿਠਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੧॥
‘Here you are sleeping with the friend, and Raja has put the guards on all four sides.(11)
ਤਾਤੇਜਤਨਅਬੈਕਛੁਕੀਜੈ॥
ਇਸ ਲਈ (ਹੇ ਰਾਣੀ!) ਹੁਣੇ ਕੋਈ ਯਤਨ ਕਰ
ਪ੍ਰਾਨਰਾਖਿਪ੍ਰੀਤਮਕੋਲੀਜੈ॥
ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਬਚਾ ਲੈ।
‘Now conceive some plan to save the life of your lover.
ਜੌਯਹਹਾਥਰਾਵਕੇਐਹੈ॥
ਜੇ ਇਹ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਆ ਗਿਆ,
ਤੋਹਿਸਹਿਤਜਮਧਾਮਪਠੈਹੈ॥੧੨॥
ਤਾਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਸਮੇਤ ਯਮ-ਲੋਕ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ॥੧੨॥
‘If he is apprehended by Raja, he will, immediately, be sent to the domain of death.(12)

(ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਚ) ਦੁੱਧ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਅਗਨੀ ਉਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ॥੧੩॥
And, filling them with milk, she put them on fire.(13)
