ਹਰਿਹਰਿਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਧਾਰਿਗੁਰਮੇਲਹੁਗੁਰਿਮਿਲਿਐਹਰਿਓੁਮਾਹਾਰਾਮ॥੩॥
(ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਦਰ ਤੇ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਕਰੋ-) ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰ, (ਸਾਨੂੰ) ਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲਾ। ਹੇ ਸਤ ਸੰਗੀਓ! ਜੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲ ਪਏ, ਤਾਂ (ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ) ਆਨੰਦ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
O Lord, Har, Har, be merciful to me, and lead me to meet the Guru; meeting the Guru, a sincere yearning for the Lord wells up in me. ||3||
ਕਰਿਕੀਰਤਿਜਸੁਅਗਮਅਥਾਹਾ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਉਸ ਅਪਹੁੰਚ ਅਤੇ ਡੂੰਘੇ ਜਿਗਰੇ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਕਰ ਕੇ, ਜਸ ਕਰ ਕੇ,
Praise Him, the unfathomable and inaccessible Lord.
ਖਿਨੁਖਿਨੁਰਾਮਨਾਮੁਗਾਵਾਹਾ॥
ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਿਆ ਕਰੋ।
Each and every moment, sing the Lord's Name.
ਮੋਕਉਧਾਰਿਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਮਿਲੀਐਗੁਰਦਾਤੇਹਰਿਨਾਨਕਭਗਤਿਓੁਮਾਹਾਰਾਮ॥੪॥੨॥੮॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ-) ਹੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਦਾਤਿ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਗੁਰੂ! ਮੇਰੇ ਉਤੇ ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ, (ਤੇਰੇ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ) ਭਗਤੀ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਚਾਉ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੪॥੨॥੮॥
Be merciful, and meet me, O Guru, Great Giver; Nanak yearns for the Lord's devotional worship. ||4||2||8||

Jaitsree, Fourth Mahalaa:
ਰਸਿਰਸਿਰਾਮੁਰਸਾਲੁਸਲਾਹਾ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਅਸੀਂ ਬੜੇ ਆਨੰਦ ਨਾਲ ਰਸੀਲੇ ਰਾਮ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ।
With love and energetic affection, praise the Lord, the storehouse of Nectar.
ਮਨੁਰਾਮਨਾਮਿਭੀਨਾਲੈਲਾਹਾ॥
ਸਾਡਾ ਮਨ ਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ-ਰਸ ਵਿਚ ਭਿੱਜ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਅਸੀਂ (ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਦੀ) ਖੱਟੀ ਖੱਟ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ।
My mind is drenched with the Lord's Name, and so it earns this profit.
ਖਿਨੁਖਿਨੁਭਗਤਿਕਰਹਦਿਨੁਰਾਤੀਗੁਰਮਤਿਭਗਤਿਓੁਮਾਹਾਰਾਮ॥੧॥
ਅਸੀਂ ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਮਤਿ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ (ਸਾਡੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ) ਭਗਤੀ ਦਾ ਚਾਉ ਬਣ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
Each and every moment, worship Him in devotion, day and night; through the Guru's Teachings, sincere love and devotion well up. ||1||
ਹਰਿਹਰਿਗੁਣਗੋਵਿੰਦਜਪਾਹਾ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਅਸੀਂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਹਰੀ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ।
Chant the Glorious Praises of the Lord of the Universe, Har, Har.
ਮਨੁਤਨੁਜੀਤਿਸਬਦੁਲੈਲਾਹਾ॥
(ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ) ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਸਰੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਸ ਵਿਚ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਗੁਰੂ-ਸ਼ਬਦ (ਦਾ) ਲਾਭ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ।
Conquering mind and body, I have earned the profit of the Shabad.
ਗੁਰਮਤਿਪੰਚਦੂਤਵਸਿਆਵਹਿਮਨਿਤਨਿਹਰਿਓਮਾਹਾਰਾਮ॥੨॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਮਤਿ ਲਿਆਂ (ਕਾਮਾਦਿਕ) ਪੰਜੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਵੱਸ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਜਪਣ ਦਾ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
Through the Guru's Teachings, the five demons are over-powered, and the mind and body are filled with a sincere yearning for the Lord. ||2||
ਨਾਮੁਰਤਨੁਹਰਿਨਾਮੁਜਪਾਹਾ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਰਤਨ (ਵਰਗਾ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਪਦਾਰਥ ਹੈ, ਅਸੀਂ ਇਹ) ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਜਪ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ।
The Name is a jewel - chant the Lord's Name.
ਹਰਿਗੁਣਗਾਇਸਦਾਲੈਲਾਹਾ॥
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ ਗਾ ਗਾ ਕੇ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਖੱਟੀ ਖੱਟ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ।
Sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, and forever earn this profit.
ਦੀਨਦਇਆਲਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਕਰਿਮਾਧੋਹਰਿਹਰਿਨਾਮੁਓੁਮਾਹਾਰਾਮ॥੩॥
ਹੇ ਦੀਨਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਦਇਆ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰ, ਸਾਡੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਣ ਦਾ ਚਾਉ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹੇ ॥੩॥
O Lord, merciful to the meek, be kind to me, and bless me with sincere longing for the Name of the Lord, Har, Har. ||3||
ਜਪਿਜਗਦੀਸੁਜਪਉਮਨਮਾਹਾ॥
ਹੇ ਸਲਾਹੁਣ-ਜੋਗ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੇ ਮਾਲਕ! ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਸਦਾ ਜਪਦਾ ਰਹਾਂ,
Meditate on the Lord of the world - meditate within your mind.
ਹਰਿਹਰਿਜਗੰਨਾਥੁਜਗਿਲਾਹਾ॥
(ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) ਹੇ ਹਰੀ! ਤੈਨੂੰ ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਨਾਥ ਨੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਜਪਣਾ ਹੀ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ (ਅਸਲ) ਲਾਭ ਹੈ,
The Lord of the Universe, Har, Har, is the only real profit in this world.
ਧਨੁਧਨੁਵਡੇਠਾਕੁਰਪ੍ਰਭਮੇਰੇਜਪਿਨਾਨਕਭਗਤਿਓਮਾਹਾਰਾਮ॥੪॥੩॥੯॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ-) ਹੇ ਸਲਾਹੁਣ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਮਾਲਕ! ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰ, ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪ ਕੇ (ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਤੇਰੀ) ਭਗਤੀ ਦਾ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹੇ ॥੪॥੩॥੯॥
Blessed, blessed, is my Great Lord and Master God; O Nanak, meditate on Him, worship Him with sincere love and devotion. ||4||3||9||
ਜੈਤਸਰੀਮਹਲਾ੪॥
Jaitsree, Fourth Mahalaa:
ਆਪੇਜੋਗੀਜੁਗਤਿਜੁਗਾਹਾ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਜੋਗੀ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸਭ ਜੁਗਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਜੋਗ ਦੀ ਜੁਗਤਿ ਹੈ,
He Himself is the Yogi, and the way throughout the ages.
ਆਪੇਨਿਰਭਉਤਾੜੀਲਾਹਾ॥
ਆਪ ਹੀ ਨਿਡਰ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਸਮਾਧੀ ਲਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
The Fearless Lord Himself is absorbed in Samaadhi.
ਆਪੇਹੀਆਪਿਆਪਿਵਰਤੈਆਪੇਨਾਮਿਓੁਮਾਹਾਰਾਮ॥੧॥
ਸਭ ਥਾਂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਆਪ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ ਨਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਜੋੜ ਕੇ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦਾ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
He Himself, all by Himself, is all-pervading; He Himself blesses us with sincere love for the Naam, the Name of the Lord. ||1||
ਆਪੇਦੀਪਲੋਅਦੀਪਾਹਾ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਜਜ਼ੀਰੇ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਭਵਨ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਸਾਰੇ ਭਵਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ) ਚਾਨਣ ਹੈ।
He Himself is the lamp, and the Light pervading all the worlds.
ਆਪੇਸਤਿਗੁਰੁਸਮੁੰਦੁਮਥਾਹਾ॥
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਬਾਣੀ ਦਾ) ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਇਸ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਨੂੰ) ਰਿੜਕਣ ਵਾਲਾ (ਵਿਚਾਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ) ਹੈ।
He Himself is the True Guru; He Himself churns the ocean.
ਆਪੇਮਥਿਮਥਿਤਤੁਕਢਾਏਜਪਿਨਾਮੁਰਤਨੁਓੁਮਾਹਾਰਾਮ॥੨॥
ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਬਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਨੂੰ) ਰਿੜਕ ਰਿੜਕ (ਵਿਚਾਰ-ਵਿਚਾਰ) ਕੇ (ਇਸ ਵਿਚੋਂ) ਮੱਖਣ (ਅਸਲੀਅਤ) ਲਭਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਆਪਣਾ) ਰਤਨ ਵਰਗਾ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਨਾਮ ਜਪ ਕੇ (ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਜਪਣ ਦਾ) ਚਾਉ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
He Himself churns it, churning up the essence; meditating on the jewel of the Naam, sincere love comes to the surface. ||2||
ਸਖੀਮਿਲਹੁਮਿਲਿਗੁਣਗਾਵਾਹਾ॥
ਹੇ ਸਤਸੰਗੀਓ! ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋਵੇ, ਆਓ, ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵੀਏ।
O my companions, let us meet and join together, and sing His Glorious Praises.
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿਨਾਮੁਜਪਹੁਹਰਿਲਾਹਾ॥
ਹੇ ਸਤਸੰਗੀਓ! ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਜਪੋ, (ਇਹੀ ਹੈ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾ) ਲਾਭ।
As Gurmukh, chant the Naam, and earn the profit of the Lord's Name.
ਹਰਿਹਰਿਭਗਤਿਦ੍ਰਿੜੀਮਨਿਭਾਈਹਰਿਹਰਿਨਾਮੁਓੁਮਾਹਾਰਾਮ॥੩॥
ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਪੱਕੀ ਬਿਠਾ ਲਈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਪਿਆਰੀ ਲੱਗੀ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ (ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦਾ) ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
Devotional worship of the Lord, Har, Har, has been implanted within me; it is pleasing to my mind. The Name of the Lord, Har, Har, brings a sincere love. ||3||
ਆਪੇਵਡਦਾਣਾਵਡਸਾਹਾ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਬੜਾ ਸਿਆਣਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਹੈ।
He Himself is supremely wise, the greatest King.
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿਪੂੰਜੀਨਾਮੁਵਿਸਾਹਾ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ-ਸਰਮਾਇਆ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰੋ।
As Gurmukh, purchase the merchandise of the Naam.
ਹਰਿਹਰਿਦਾਤਿਕਰਹੁਪ੍ਰਭਭਾਵੈਗੁਣਨਾਨਕਨਾਮੁਓੁਮਾਹਾਰਾਮ॥੪॥੪॥੧੦॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ-) ਹੇ ਹਰੀ! ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! (ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ) ਦਾਤਿ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼, ਜੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗੇ, ਤਾਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਵੱਸੇ, ਤੇਰੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਚਾਉ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੪॥੪॥੧੦॥
O Lord God, Har, Har, bless me with such a gift, that Your Glorious Virtues seem pleasing to me; Nanak is filled with sincere love and yearning for the Lord. ||4||4||10||

ਮਿਲਿਸਤਿਸੰਗਤਿਸੰਗਿਗੁਰਾਹਾ॥
(ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਆਪਣੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਕਰ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ) ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ, ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ,
Joining the Sat Sangat, the True Congregation, and associating with the Guru,
ਪੂੰਜੀਨਾਮੁਗੁਰਮੁਖਿਵੇਸਾਹਾ॥
ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪੈ ਕੇ, ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਸਰਮਾਇਆ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰੀਏ
the Gurmukh gathers in the merchandise of the Naam.
ਹਰਿਹਰਿਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਧਾਰਿਮਧੁਸੂਦਨਮਿਲਿਸਤਸੰਗਿਓੁਮਾਹਾਰਾਮ॥੧॥
ਹੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਰੀ! (ਅਸਾਂ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਉਤੇ) ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰ (ਕਿ) ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ (ਸਾਡੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ) ਚਾਉ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੧॥
O Lord, Har, Har, Destroyer of demons, have mercy upon me; bless me with a sincere yearning to join the Sat Sangat. ||1||
ਹਰਿਗੁਣਬਾਣੀਸ੍ਰਵਣਿਸੁਣਾਹਾ॥
ਹੇ ਹਰੀ! ਤੇਰੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਅਸੀਂ ਕੰਨ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਣੀਏ,
Let me hear with my ears the Banis, the Hymns, in praise of the Lord;
ਕਰਿਕਿਰਪਾਸਤਿਗੁਰੂਮਿਲਾਹਾ॥
ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ (ਮੈਨੂੰ) ਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲਾ,
be merciful, and let me meet the True Guru.
ਗੁਣਗਾਵਹਗੁਣਬੋਲਹਬਾਣੀਹਰਿਗੁਣਜਪਿਓੁਮਾਹਾਰਾਮ॥੨॥
ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵੀਏ, ਤੇਰੇ ਗੁਣ ਉਚਾਰੀਏ। ਤੇਰੇ ਗੁਣ ਯਾਦ ਕਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ (ਸਾਡੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਤੇਰੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਦਾ) ਚਾਉ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੨॥
I sing His Glorious Praises, I speak the Bani of His Word; chanting His Glorious Praises, a sincere yearning for the Lord wells up. ||2||
ਸਭਿਤੀਰਥਵਰਤਜਗਪੁੰਨਤੋੁਲਾਹਾ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਤੀਰਥ (-ਇਸ਼ਨਾਨ), ਵਰਤ, ਜੱਗ ਅਤੇ ਪੁੰਨ (ਮਿਥੇ ਹੋਏ ਨੇਕ ਕੰਮ) (ਇਕੱਠੇ ਰਲਾ ਕੇ) ਤੋਲੀਏ,
I have tried visiting all the sacred shrines of pilgrimage, fasting, ceremonial feasts and giving to charities.
ਹਰਿਹਰਿਨਾਮਨਪੁਜਹਿਪੁਜਾਹਾ॥
ਇਹ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਤਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਅੱਪੜ ਸਕਦੇ।
They do not measure up to the Name of the Lord, Har, Har.
ਹਰਿਹਰਿਅਤੁਲੁਤੋਲੁਅਤਿਭਾਰੀਗੁਰਮਤਿਜਪਿਓੁਮਾਹਾਰਾਮ॥੩॥
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ (ਦਾ ਨਾਮ) ਤੋਲਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ, ਉਸ ਦਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਭਾਰਾ ਤੋਲ ਹੈ। ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਮਤਿ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਜਪ ਕੇ (ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਰ ਜਪਣ ਦਾ) ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
The Lord's Name is unweighable, utterly heavy in weight; through the Guru's Teachings, a sincere yearning to chant the Name has welled up in me. ||3||
ਸਭਿਕਰਮਧਰਮਹਰਿਨਾਮੁਜਪਾਹਾ॥
ਹੇ ਹਰੀ! ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੀ ਸਾਰੇ (ਮਿੱਥੇ ਹੋਏ) ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਕੰਮ ਹੈ,
All good karma and righteous living are found in meditation on the Lord's Name.
ਕਿਲਵਿਖਮੈਲੁਪਾਪਧੋਵਾਹਾ॥
(ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਸਾਰੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੈਲ ਧੁਪ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ
It washes away the stains of sins and mistakes.
ਦੀਨਦਇਆਲਹੋਹੁਜਨਊਪਰਿਦੇਹੁਨਾਨਕਨਾਮੁਓਮਾਹਾਰਾਮ॥੪॥੫॥੧੧॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ-) ਹੇ ਹਰੀ! ਆਪਣੇ ਨਿਮਾਣੇ ਦਾਸਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਦਇਆਵਾਨ ਹੋ, ਦਾਸਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਨਾਮ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼, (ਨਾਮ ਜਪਣ ਦਾ) ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇਹ, ਅਸੀਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪੀਏ ॥੪॥੫॥੧੧॥
Be merciful to meek, humble Nanak; bless him with sincere love and yearning for the Lord. ||4||5||11||
