ਜਿਨਕਉਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਕਰੀਜਗਜੀਵਨਿਹਰਿਉਰਿਧਾਰਿਓਮਨਮਾਝਾ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕੀਤੀ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਟਿਕਾ ਲਿਆ।
Those, unto whom the Lord, the Life of the world, has shown Mercy, enshrine Him within their hearts, and cherish Him in their minds.
ਧਰਮਰਾਇਦਰਿਕਾਗਦਫਾਰੇਜਨਨਾਨਕਲੇਖਾਸਮਝਾ॥੪॥੫॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ-ਹੇ ਭਾਈ) ਧਰਮਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਦਰ ਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ (ਕੀਤੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੇਖੇ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ) ਕਾਗ਼ਜ਼ ਪਾੜ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾਸਾਂ ਦਾ ਲੇਖਾ ਨਿੱਬੜ ਗਿਆ ॥੪॥੫॥
The Righteous Judge of Dharma, in the Court of the Lord, has torn up my papers; servant Nanak's account has been settled. ||4||5||
ਜੈਤਸਰੀਮਹਲਾ੪॥
Jaitsree, Fourth Mahalaa:
ਸਤਿਸੰਗਤਿਸਾਧਪਾਈਵਡਭਾਗੀਮਨੁਚਲਤੌਭਇਓਅਰੂੜਾ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਲਈ, ਉਸ ਦਾ ਭਟਕਦਾ ਮਨ ਟਿਕ ਗਿਆ।
In the Sat Sangat, the True Congregation, I found the Holy, by great good fortune; my restless mind has been quieted.
ਅਨਹਤਧੁਨਿਵਾਜਹਿਨਿਤਵਾਜੇਹਰਿਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਧਾਰਰਸਿਲੀੜਾ॥੧॥
ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਇਕ-ਰਸ ਰੌ ਨਾਲ (ਮਾਨੋ) ਸਦਾ ਵਾਜੇ ਵੱਜਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਨਾਮ-ਜਲ ਦੀ ਧਾਰ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਨਾਲ (ਪੀ ਪੀ ਕੇ) ਉਹ ਰੱਜ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
The unstruck melody ever vibrates and resounds; I have taken in the sublime essence of the Lord's Ambrosial Nectar, showering down. ||1||
ਮੇਰੇਮਨਜਪਿਰਾਮਨਾਮੁਹਰਿਰੂੜਾ॥
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ! ਸੋਹਣੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ (ਸਦਾ) ਜਪਿਆ ਕਰ।
O my mind, chant the Name of the Lord, the beauteous Lord.
ਮੇਰੈਮਨਿਤਨਿਪ੍ਰੀਤਿਲਗਾਈਸਤਿਗੁਰਿਹਰਿਮਿਲਿਓਲਾਇਝਪੀੜਾ॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ, ਮੇਰੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ, ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ, ਹੁਣ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜੱਫੀ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਮਿਲ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ ਰਹਾਉ॥
The True Guru has drenched my mind and body with the Love of the Lord, who has met me and lovingly embraced me. ||Pause||
ਸਾਕਤਬੰਧਭਏਹੈਮਾਇਆਬਿਖੁਸੰਚਹਿਲਾਇਜਕੀੜਾ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਟੁੱਟੇ ਹੋਏ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਵਿਚ ਬੱਝੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਲਾ ਕੇ (ਆਤਮਕ ਮੌਤ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਮਾਇਆ) ਜ਼ਹਿਰ ਹੀ ਇਕੱਠੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
The faithless cynics are bound and gagged in the chains of Maya; they are actively engaged, gathering in the poisonous wealth.
ਹਰਿਕੈਅਰਥਿਖਰਚਿਨਹਸਾਕਹਿਜਮਕਾਲੁਸਹਹਿਸਿਰਿਪੀੜਾ॥੨॥
ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉਸ ਮਾਇਆ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਰਾਹ ਤੇ ਖ਼ਰਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦੇ, (ਇਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਉਹ) ਆਤਮਕ ਮੌਤ ਦਾ ਦੁੱਖ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਿਰ ਉਤੇ ਸਹਾਰਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੨॥
They cannot spend this in harmony with the Lord, and so they must endure the pain which the Messenger of Death inflicts upon their heads. ||2||
ਜਿਨਹਰਿਅਰਥਿਸਰੀਰੁਲਗਾਇਆਗੁਰਸਾਧੂਬਹੁਸਰਧਾਲਾਇਮੁਖਿਧੂੜਾ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੇ ਬੜੀ ਸਰਧਾ ਨਾਲ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਧੂੜ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਉਤੇ ਲਾ ਕੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਰੀਰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਅਰਪਣ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ,
The Holy Guru has dedicated His Being to the Lord's service; with great devotion, apply the dust of His feet to your face.
ਹਲਤਿਪਲਤਿਹਰਿਸੋਭਾਪਾਵਹਿਹਰਿਰੰਗੁਲਗਾਮਨਿਗੂੜਾ॥੩॥
ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਇਸ ਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ ਸੋਭਾ ਖੱਟਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨਾਲ ਗੂੜ੍ਹਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
In this world and the next, you shall receive the Lord's honor, and your mind shall be imbued with the permanent color of the Lord's Love. ||3||
ਹਰਿਹਰਿਮੇਲਿਮੇਲਿਜਨਸਾਧੂਹਮਸਾਧਜਨਾਕਾਕੀੜਾ॥
ਹੇ ਹਰੀ! ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਮੈਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲਾ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲਾ, ਮੈਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਮਾਣਾ ਦਾਸ ਹਾਂ।
O Lord, Har, Har, please unite me with the Holy; compared to these Holy people, I am just a worm.
ਜਨਨਾਨਕਪ੍ਰੀਤਿਲਗੀਪਗਸਾਧਗੁਰਮਿਲਿਸਾਧੂਪਾਖਾਣੁਹਰਿਓਮਨੁਮੂੜਾ॥੪॥੬॥
ਹੇ ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ-) ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਮੂਰਖ ਅਭਿੱਜ ਮਨ ਹਰਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੬॥
Servant Nanak has enshrined love for the feet of the Holy Guru; meeting with this Holy One, my foolish, stone-like mind has blossomed forth in lush profusion. ||4||6||
ਜੈਤਸਰੀਮਹਲਾ੪ਘਰੁ੨॥
ਰਾਗ ਜੈਤਸਰੀ, ਘਰ ੨ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਾਮਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ।
Jaitsree, Fourth Mahalaa, Second House:
ੴਸਤਿਗੁਰਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ॥
ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:
ਹਰਿਹਰਿਸਿਮਰਹੁਅਗਮਅਪਾਰਾ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਉਸ ਅਪਹੁੰਚ ਅਤੇ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਿਆ ਕਰੋ,
Remember in meditation the Lord, Har, Har, the unfathomable, infinite Lord.
ਜਿਸੁਸਿਮਰਤਦੁਖੁਮਿਟੈਹਮਾਰਾ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਮਰਿਆਂ ਅਸਾਂ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਹਰੇਕ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
Remembering Him in meditation, pains are dispelled.
ਹਰਿਹਰਿਸਤਿਗੁਰੁਪੁਰਖੁਮਿਲਾਵਹੁਗੁਰਿਮਿਲਿਐਸੁਖੁਹੋਈਰਾਮ॥੧॥
ਹੇ ਹਰੀ! ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਸਾਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਹਾ ਪੁਰਖ ਮਿਲਾ ਦੇ। ਜੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲ ਪਏ, ਤਾਂ ਆਤਮਕ ਆਨੰਦ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
O Lord, Har, Har, lead me to meet the True Guru; meeting the Guru, I am at peace. ||1||
ਹਰਿਗੁਣਗਾਵਹੁਮੀਤਹਮਾਰੇ॥
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਿੱਤਰੋ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਇਆ ਕਰੋ,
Sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, O my friend.
ਹਰਿਹਰਿਨਾਮੁਰਖਹੁਉਰਧਾਰੇ॥
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕਾਈ ਰੱਖੋ।
Cherish the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, in your heart.
ਹਰਿਹਰਿਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਬਚਨਸੁਣਾਵਹੁਗੁਰਮਿਲਿਐਪਰਗਟੁਹੋਈਰਾਮ॥੨॥
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦੇ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਬੋਲ (ਮੈਨੂੰ ਭੀ) ਸੁਣਾਇਆ ਕਰੋ। (ਹੇ ਮਿੱਤਰੋ! ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪਏ ਰਹੋ), ਜੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲ ਪਏ, ਤਾਂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਗਟ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
Read the Ambrosial Words of the Lord, Har, Har; meeting with the Guru, the Lord is revealed. ||2||
ਮਧੁਸੂਦਨਹਰਿਮਾਧੋਪ੍ਰਾਨਾ॥
ਹੇ ਦੂਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ! ਹੇ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਪਤੀ! ਹੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦ (ਦੇ ਸਹਾਰੇ)!
The Lord, the Slayer of demons, is my breath of life.
ਮੇਰੈਮਨਿਤਨਿਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਮੀਠਲਗਾਨਾ॥
ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ, ਮੇਰੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ, ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਮਿੱਠਾ ਲੱਗ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
His Ambrosial Amrit is so sweet to my mind and body.
ਹਰਿਹਰਿਦਇਆਕਰਹੁਗੁਰੁਮੇਲਹੁਪੁਰਖੁਨਿਰੰਜਨੁਸੋਈਰਾਮ॥੩॥
ਹੇ ਹਰੀ! ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! (ਮੇਰੇ ਉਤੇ) ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਮਹਾ ਪੁਰਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲਾ ਜੋ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਤੋਂ ਉਤਾਂਹ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
O Lord, Har, Har, have mercy upon me, and lead me to meet the Guru, the immaculate Primal Being. ||3||
ਹਰਿਹਰਿਨਾਮੁਸਦਾਸੁਖਦਾਤਾ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਦਾ ਸੁਖ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।
The Name of the Lord, Har, Har, is forever the Giver of peace.
ਹਰਿਕੈਰੰਗਿਮੇਰਾਮਨੁਰਾਤਾ॥
ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨ ਉਸ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਵਿਚ ਮਸਤ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
My mind is imbued with the Lord's Love.
ਹਰਿਹਰਿਮਹਾਪੁਰਖੁਗੁਰੁਮੇਲਹੁਗੁਰਨਾਨਕਨਾਮਿਸੁਖੁਹੋਈਰਾਮ॥੪॥੧॥੭॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ-) ਹੇ ਹਰੀ! ਮੈਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਹਾ ਪੁਰਖ ਮਿਲਾ। ਹੇ ਗੁਰੂ! (ਤੇਰੇ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ੇ) ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਜੁੜਿਆਂ ਆਤਮਕ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੧॥੭॥
O Lord Har, Har, lead me to meet the Guru, the Greatest Being; through the Name of Guru Nanak, I have found peace. ||4||1||7||

ਹਰਿਹਰਿਹਰਿਹਰਿਨਾਮੁਜਪਾਹਾ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਿਆ ਕਰੋ।
Chant the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, Har, Har.
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿਨਾਮੁਸਦਾਲੈਲਾਹਾ॥
ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਸਦਾ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ-ਖੱਟੀ ਖੱਟਦੇ ਰਹੋ।
As Gurmukh, ever earn the profit of the Naam.
ਹਰਿਹਰਿਹਰਿਹਰਿਭਗਤਿਦ੍ਰਿੜਾਵਹੁਹਰਿਹਰਿਨਾਮੁਓੁਮਾਹਾਰਾਮ॥੧॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਪੱਕੀ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਟਿਕਾ ਲਵੋ। ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ (ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ) ਆਨੰਦ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
Implant within yourself devotion to the Lord, Har, Har, Har, Har; sincerely dedicate yourself to the Name of the Lord, Har, Har. ||1||
ਹਰਿਹਰਿਨਾਮੁਦਇਆਲੁਧਿਆਹਾ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਇਆ ਦਾ ਸੋਮਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਦੇ ਰਹੋ।
Meditate on the Name of the Merciful Lord, Har, Har.
ਹਰਿਕੈਰੰਗਿਸਦਾਗੁਣਗਾਹਾ॥
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ-ਰੰਗ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਂਦੇ ਰਹੋ।
With love, forever sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord.
ਹਰਿਹਰਿਹਰਿਜਸੁਘੂਮਰਿਪਾਵਹੁਮਿਲਿਸਤਸੰਗਿਓੁਮਾਹਾਰਾਮ॥੨॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਸਦਾ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹੋ (ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਮਸਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਾਚ ਹੈ, ਇਹ) ਨਾਚ ਨੱਚੋ। ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਆਤਮਕ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਾਣਿਆ ਕਰੋ ॥੨॥
Dance to the Praises of the Lord, Har, Har, Har; meet with the Sat Sangat, the True Congregation, with sincerity. ||2||
ਆਉਸਖੀਹਰਿਮੇਲਿਮਿਲਾਹਾ॥
ਹੇ ਸੰਤ ਸੰਗੀਓ! ਆਓ, ਰਲ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਜੁੜੀਏ।
Come, O companions - let us unite in the Lord's Union.
ਸੁਣਿਹਰਿਕਥਾਨਾਮੁਲੈਲਾਹਾ॥
ਹੇ ਸਤ ਸੰਗੀਓ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ-ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦੀ ਖੱਟੀ ਖੱਟਦੇ ਰਹੋ।
