ੴਸਤਿਗੁਰਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ॥
ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:
ਨਾਰਾਇਣਨਿੰਦਸਿਕਾਇਭੂਲੀਗਵਾਰੀ॥
ਹੇ ਭੁੱਲੜ ਮੂਰਖ ਜਿੰਦੇ! ਤੂੰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਉਂ ਦੋਸ ਦੇਂਦੀ ਹੈਂ?
Why do you slander the Lord? You are ignorant and deluded.
ਦੁਕ੍ਰਿਤੁਸੁਕ੍ਰਿਤੁਥਾਰੋਕਰਮੁਰੀ॥੧॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਪਾਪ ਪੁੰਨ ਤੇਰਾ ਆਪਣਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਕੰਮ ਹੈ (ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਦੁੱਖ ਸੁਖ ਸਹਾਰਨਾ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ) ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Pain and pleasure are the result of your own actions. ||1||Pause||
ਸੰਕਰਾਮਸਤਕਿਬਸਤਾਸੁਰਸਰੀਇਸਨਾਨਰੇ॥
(ਹੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੇ! ਦੇਖ ਚੰਦ੍ਰਮਾ) ਭਾਵੇਂ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ, ਨਿੱਤ ਗੰਗਾ ਵਿਚ ਇਸ਼ਨਾਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ,
The moon dwells in Shiva's forehead; it takes its cleansing bath in the Ganges.
ਕੁਲਜਨਮਧੇਮਿਲੵਿੋਸਾਰਗਪਾਨਰੇ॥
ਤੇ ਉਸੇ ਦੀ ਕੁਲ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਸ਼ਨੂ ਜੀ ਨੇ (ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ-ਰੂਪ ਧਾਰ ਕੇ) ਜਨਮ ਲਿਆ।
Among the men of the moon's family, Krishna was born;
ਕਰਮਕਰਿਕਲੰਕੁਮਫੀਟਸਿਰੀ॥੧॥
ਆਪਣੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ (ਚੰਦ੍ਰਮਾ ਦਾ) ਦਾਗ਼ ਨਾਹ ਹਟ ਸਕਿਆ ॥੧॥
even so, the stains from its past actions remain on the moon's face. ||1||
ਬਿਸ੍ਵਕਾਦੀਪਕੁਸ੍ਵਾਮੀਤਾਚੇਰੇਸੁਆਰਥੀਪੰਖੀਰਾਇਗਰੁੜਤਾਚੇਬਾਧਵਾ॥
(ਫਿਰ ਅਰੁਣ ਦੀ ਮਿਸਾਲ ਦੇਖ!) ਭਾਵੇਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਨਣ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਸੂਰਜ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਸੂਰਜ ਦਾ ਉਹ ਰਥਵਾਹੀ ਹੈ, ਤੇ, ਪੰਛੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਗਰੁੜ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇਦਾਰ ਹੈ,
Aruna was a charioteer; his master was the sun, the lamp of the world. His brother was Garuda, the king of birds;
ਕਰਮਕਰਿਅਰੁਣਪਿੰਗੁਲਾਰੀ॥੨॥
(ਹੇ ਘਰ-ਗੇਹਣਿ!) ਆਪਣੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਅਰੁਣ ਪਿੰਗਲਾ ਹੀ ਰਿਹਾ ॥੨॥
and yet, Aruna was made a cripple, because of the karma of his past actions. ||2||
ਅਨਿਕਪਾਤਿਕਹਰਤਾਤ੍ਰਿਭਵਣਨਾਥੁਰੀਤੀਰਥਿਤੀਰਥਿਭ੍ਰਮਤਾਲਹੈਨਪਾਰੁਰੀ॥
(ਦੇਖ!) ਭਾਵੇਂ (ਸ਼ਿਵ ਜੀ) ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਦਾ ਨਾਥ (ਸਮਝਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ) ਹੈ, (ਹੋਰ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ) ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਉਹ ਹਰੇਕ ਤੀਰਥ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਟਕਦਾ ਫਿਰਿਆ, ਤਾਂ ਭੀ (ਉਸ ਖੋਪਰੀ ਤੋਂ) ਖ਼ਲਾਸੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ।
Shiva, the destroyer of countless sins, the Lord and Master of the three worlds, wandered from sacred shrine to sacred shrine; he never found an end to them.
ਕਰਮਕਰਿਕਪਾਲੁਮਫੀਟਸਿਰੀ॥੩॥
(ਬ੍ਰਹਮ-ਹੱਤਿਆ ਦੇ) ਕੀਤੇ ਕਰਮ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ (ਸ਼ਿਵ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਨਾਲੋਂ) ਖੋਪਰੀ ਨਾਹ ਲਹਿ ਸਕੀ ॥੩॥
And yet, he could not erase the karma of cutting off Brahma's head. ||3||
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਸੀਅਧੇਨਲਛਿਮੀਕਲਪਤਰਸਿਖਰਿਸੁਨਾਗਰਨਦੀਚੇਨਾਥੰ॥
(ਫਿਰ ਦੇਖ! ਸਮੁੰਦ੍ਰ) ਭਾਵੇਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਨਦੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਥ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ, ਚੰਦ੍ਰਮਾ, ਕਾਮਧੇਨ, ਲੱਛਮੀ, ਕਲਪ-ਰੁੱਖ, ਸੱਤ-ਮੂੰਹਾ ਘੋੜਾ, ਧਨੰਤਰੀ ਵੈਦ (ਆਦਿਕ ਚੌਦਾਂ ਰਤਨ) ਨਿਕਲੇ ਸਨ,
Through the nectar, the moon, the wish-fulfilling cow, Lakshmi, the miraculous tree of life, Sikhar the sun's horse, and Dhanavantar the wise physician - all arose from the ocean, the lord of rivers;
ਕਰਮਕਰਿਖਾਰੁਮਫੀਟਸਿਰੀ॥੪॥
(ਪਰ ਹੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੇ!) ਆਪਣੇ ਕੀਤੇ (ਮੰਦ-ਕਰਮ) ਅਨੁਸਾਰ (ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਦਾ) ਖਾਰਾ-ਪਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਟ ਸਕਿਆ ॥੪॥
and yet, because of its karma, its saltiness has not left it. ||4||
ਦਾਧੀਲੇਲੰਕਾਗੜੁਉਪਾੜੀਲੇਰਾਵਣਬਣੁਸਲਿਬਿਸਲਿਆਣਿਤੋਖੀਲੇਹਰੀ॥
(ਹਨੂੰਮਾਨ) ਨੇ (ਸ੍ਰੀ ਰਾਮ ਚੰਦ੍ਰ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਾਤਰ) ਲੰਕਾ ਦਾ ਕਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਸਾੜਿਆ, ਰਾਵਣ ਦਾ ਬਾਗ਼ ਉਜਾੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਸੱਲ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਬੂਟੀ ਲਿਆ ਕੇ ਰਾਮ ਚੰਦ੍ਰ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੀ ਕੀਤਾ,
Hanuman burnt the fortress of Sri Lanka, uprooted the garden of Raawan, and brought healing herbs for the wounds of Lachhman, pleasing Lord Raamaa;
ਕਰਮਕਰਿਕਛਉਟੀਮਫੀਟਸਿਰੀ॥੫॥
(ਪਰ ਹੇ ਘਰ-ਗੇਹਣਿ!) ਆਪਣੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ (ਹਨੂਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ) ਉਸ ਦੀ ਨਿੱਕੀ ਜਹੀ ਕੱਛ ਨਾਹ ਹਟ ਸਕੀ ॥੫॥
and yet, because of his karma, he could not be rid of his loin cloth. ||5||
ਪੂਰਬਲੋਕ੍ਰਿਤਕਰਮੁਨਮਿਟੈਰੀਘਰਗੇਹਣਿਤਾਚੇਮੋਹਿਜਾਪੀਅਲੇਰਾਮਚੇਨਾਮੰ॥
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੇ! ਪਿਛਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਕੋਈ ਕਰਮ (ਅਵਤਾਰ-ਪੂਜਾ, ਤੀਰਥ-ਇਸ਼ਨਾਨ ਆਦਿਕ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ) ਮਿਟਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ; ਤਾਹੀਏਂ ਮੈਂ ਤਾਂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੀ ਸਿਮਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
The karma of past actions cannot be erased, O wife of my house; this is why I chant the Name of the Lord.
ਬਦਤਿਤ੍ਰਿਲੋਚਨਰਾਮਜੀ॥੬॥੧॥
ਤ੍ਰਿਲੋਚਨ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਤਾਂ 'ਰਾਮ ਰਾਮ' ਹੀ ਜਪਦਾ ਹਾਂ (ਭਾਵ, ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਓਟ ਹੀ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਕਰਮ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਆਏ ਦੁੱਖ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਦੋਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਂਦਾ) ॥੬॥੧॥
So prays Trilochan, Dear Lord. ||6||1||
ਸ੍ਰੀਸੈਣੁ॥
Sri Sain:
ਧੂਪਦੀਪਘ੍ਰਿਤਸਾਜਿਆਰਤੀ॥
(ਤੈਥੋਂ ਸਦਕੇ ਜਾਣਾ ਹੀ) ਧੂਪ ਦੀਵੇ ਤੇ ਘਿਉ (ਆਦਿਕ) ਸਮੱਗ੍ਰੀ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਆਰਤੀ ਕਰਨੀ ਹੈ।
With incense, lamps and ghee, I offer this lamp-lit worship service.
ਵਾਰਨੇਜਾਉਕਮਲਾਪਤੀ॥੧॥
ਹੇ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਮੈਂ ਤੈਥੋਂ ਸਦਕੇ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ ॥੧॥
I am a sacrifice to the Lord of Lakshmi. ||1||
ਮੰਗਲਾਹਰਿਮੰਗਲਾ॥
ਹੇ ਹਰੀ! ਹੇ ਰਾਜਨ!
Hail to You, Lord, hail to You!
ਨਿਤਮੰਗਲੁਰਾਜਾਰਾਮਰਾਇਕੋ॥੧॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਹੇ ਰਾਮ! ਤੇਰੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਨਾਲ (ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ) ਸਦਾ (ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ-ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦਾ) ਅਨੰਦ ਮੰਗਲ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Again and again, hail to You, Lord King, Ruler of all! ||1||Pause||
ਊਤਮੁਦੀਅਰਾਨਿਰਮਲਬਾਤੀ॥
(ਆਰਤੀ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ) ਸੋਹਣਾ ਚੰਗਾ ਦੀਵਾ ਤੇ ਸਾਫ਼ ਸੁਥਰੀ ਵੱਟੀ ਵੀ-
Sublime is the lamp, and pure is the wick.
ਤੁਹਂੀਨਿਰੰਜਨੁਕਮਲਾਪਾਤੀ॥੨॥
ਹੇ ਕਮਲਾਪਤੀ! ਹੇ ਨਿਰੰਜਨ! ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਹੈਂ ॥੨॥
You are immaculate and pure, O Brilliant Lord of Wealth! ||2||
ਰਾਮਾਭਗਤਿਰਾਮਾਨੰਦੁਜਾਨੈ॥
ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਦਾ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ,
Raamaanand knows the devotional worship of the Lord.
ਪੂਰਨਪਰਮਾਨੰਦੁਬਖਾਨੈ॥੩॥
ਜੋ ਸਰਬ-ਵਿਆਪਕ ਪਰਮ ਆਨੰਦ-ਰੂਪ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
He says that the Lord is all-pervading, the embodiment of supreme joy. ||3||
ਮਦਨਮੂਰਤਿਭੈਤਾਰਿਗੋਬਿੰਦੇ॥
ਜੋ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ (ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦੇ) ਡਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਜੋ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਦੀ ਸਾਰ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ,
The Lord of the world, of wondrous form, has carried me across the terrifying world-ocean.
ਸੈਨੁਭਣੈਭਜੁਪਰਮਾਨੰਦੇ॥੪॥੨॥
ਸੈਣ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ-(ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ!) ਉਸ ਪਰਮ-ਆਨੰਦ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰ ॥੪॥੨॥
Says Sain, remember the Lord, the embodiment of supreme joy! ||4||2||
ਪੀਪਾ॥
Peepaa:
ਕਾਯਉਦੇਵਾਕਾਇਅਉਦੇਵਲਕਾਇਅਉਜੰਗਮਜਾਤੀ॥
(ਸੋ) ਕਾਇਆਂ (ਦੀ ਖੋਜ) ਹੀ ਮੇਰਾ ਦੇਵਤਾ ਹੈ (ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਮੈਂ ਆਰਤੀ ਕਰਨੀ ਹੈ), ਸਰੀਰ (ਦੀ ਖੋਜ) ਹੀ ਮੇਰਾ ਮੰਦਰ ਹੈ (ਜਿਥੇ ਮੈਂ ਸਰੀਰ ਅੰਦਰ ਵੱਸਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਆਰਤੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ), ਕਾਇਆਂ (ਦੀ ਖੋਜ) ਹੀ ਮੈਂ ਜੰਗਮ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਤ੍ਰੂ ਲਈ (ਤੀਰਥ ਦੀ ਜਾਤ੍ਰਾ ਹੈ)।
Within the body, the Divine Lord is embodied. The body is the temple, the place of pilgrimage, and the pilgrim.
ਕਾਇਅਉਧੂਪਦੀਪਨਈਬੇਦਾਕਾਇਅਉਪੂਜਉਪਾਤੀ॥੧॥
ਸਰੀਰ (ਦੀ ਖੋਜ) ਹੀ (ਮੇਰੇ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਵੱਸਦੇ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਲਈ) ਧੂਪ ਦੀਪ ਤੇ ਨੈਵੇਦ ਹੈ, ਕਾਇਆ ਦੀ ਖੋਜ (ਕਰ ਕੇ) ਹੀ, ਮੈਂ ਮਾਨੋ, ਪੱਤਰ ਭੇਟ ਰੱਖ ਕੇ (ਆਪਣੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਵੱਸਦੇ ਇਸ਼ਟ ਦੇਵ ਦੀ) ਪੂਜਾ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ ॥੧॥
Within the body are incense, lamps and offerings. Within the body are the flower offerings. ||1||
ਕਾਇਆਬਹੁਖੰਡਖੋਜਤੇਨਵਨਿਧਿਪਾਈ॥
ਦੇਸ ਦੇਸਾਂਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੋਜ ਕੇ (ਆਖ਼ਰ ਆਪਣੇ) ਸਰੀਰ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਹੀ ਮੈਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ-ਰੂਪ ਨੌ ਨਿਧੀ ਲੱਭ ਲਈ ਹੈ,
I searched throughout many realms, but I found the nine treasures within the body.
ਨਾਕਛੁਆਇਬੋਨਾਕਛੁਜਾਇਬੋਰਾਮਕੀਦੁਹਾਈ॥੧॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
(ਹੁਣ ਮੇਰੀ ਕਾਇਆਂ ਵਿਚ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ (ਦੀ ਯਾਦ) ਦਾ ਹੀ ਤੇਜ-ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਹੈ, (ਉਸ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ) ਨਾ ਕੁਝ ਜੰਮਦਾ ਹੈ ਨਾਹ ਮਰਦਾ ਹੈ (ਭਾਵ, ਮੇਰਾ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਮਿਟ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ) ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Nothing comes, and nothing goes; I pray to the Lord for Mercy. ||1||Pause||
ਜੋਬ੍ਰਹਮੰਡੇਸੋਈਪਿੰਡੇਜੋਖੋਜੈਸੋਪਾਵੈ॥
ਜੋ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਦਾ ਰਚਣਹਾਰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਸਾਰੇ ਬ੍ਰਹਮੰਡ ਵਿਚ (ਵਿਆਪਕ) ਹੈ ਉਹੀ (ਮਨੁੱਖਾ) ਸਰੀਰ ਵਿਚ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਖੋਜ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
The One who pervades the Universe also dwells in the body; whoever seeks Him, finds Him there.
ਪੀਪਾਪ੍ਰਣਵੈਪਰਮਤਤੁਹੈਸਤਿਗੁਰੁਹੋਇਲਖਾਵੈ॥੨॥੩॥
ਪੀਪਾ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ- ਜੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲ ਪਏ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ (ਅੰਦਰ ਹੀ) ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਅਸਲੀਅਤ, ਪਰਲੇ ਤੋਂ ਪਰਲਾ ਤੱਤ, ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਦੇ ਅਸਲ ਸੋਮੇ ਦਾ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਾ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥੩॥
Peepaa prays, the Lord is the supreme essence; He reveals Himself through the True Guru. ||2||3||

ਗੋਪਾਲਤੇਰਾਆਰਤਾ॥
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਿਥਵੀ ਦੇ ਪਾਲਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਦਰ ਦਾ ਮੰਗਤਾ ਹਾਂ (ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਲੋੜਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕਰ);
O Lord of the world, this is Your lamp-lit worship service.
ਜੋਜਨਤੁਮਰੀਭਗਤਿਕਰੰਤੇਤਿਨਕੇਕਾਜਸਵਾਰਤਾ॥੧॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਜੋ ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਤੇਰੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਤੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਸਿਰੇ ਚਾੜ੍ਹਦਾ ਹੈਂ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
You are the Arranger of the affairs of those humble beings who perform Your devotional worship service. ||1||Pause||
ਦਾਲਿਸੀਧਾਮਾਗਉਘੀਉ॥
ਮੈਂ (ਤੇਰੇ ਦਰ ਤੋਂ) ਦਾਲ, ਆਟਾ ਤੇ ਘਿਉ ਮੰਗਦਾ ਹਾਂ,
Lentils, flour and ghee - these things, I beg of You.
ਹਮਰਾਖੁਸੀਕਰੈਨਿਤਜੀਉ॥
ਜੋ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦ ਨੂੰ ਨਿੱਤ ਸੁਖੀ ਰੱਖੇ,
My mind shall ever be pleased.
ਪਨੑੀਆਛਾਦਨੁਨੀਕਾ॥
ਜੁੱਤੀ ਤੇ ਸੋਹਣਾ ਕੱਪੜਾ ਭੀ ਮੰਗਦਾ ਹਾਂ,
Shoes, fine clothes,
ਅਨਾਜੁਮਗਉਸਤਸੀਕਾ॥੧॥
ਤੇ ਸੱਤਾਂ ਸੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਅੰਨ ਭੀ (ਤੈਥੋਂ ਹੀ) ਮੰਗਦਾ ਹਾਂ ॥੧॥
and grain of seven kinds - I beg of You. ||1||
ਗਊਭੈਸਮਗਉਲਾਵੇਰੀ॥
ਹੇ ਗੋਪਾਲ! ਮੈਂ ਗਾਂ ਮਹਿੰ ਲਵੇਰੀ (ਭੀ) ਮੰਗਦਾ ਹਾਂ,
A milk cow, and a water buffalo, I beg of You,
ਇਕਤਾਜਨਿਤੁਰੀਚੰਗੇਰੀ॥
ਤੇ ਇਕ ਚੰਗੀ ਅਰਬੀ ਘੋੜੀ ਭੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।
and a fine Turkestani horse.
ਘਰਕੀਗੀਹਨਿਚੰਗੀ॥
ਘਰ ਦੀ ਚੰਗੀ ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਵੀ-
A good wife to care for my home
ਜਨੁਧੰਨਾਲੇਵੈਮੰਗੀ॥੨॥੪॥
ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਦਾਸ ਧੰਨਾ ਤੈਥੋਂ ਮੰਗ ਕੇ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ ॥੨॥੪॥
