ਚੰਗਾ ਯੁੱਧ ਕੀਤਾ।

Great heroes thundered, while using dreadful weapons.13.
ਕਰੋਜੁਧਚੰਡੰ॥
ਅਜਿਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ਯੁੱਧ ਹੋਇਆ
ਸੁਣਿਯੋਨਾਵਖੰਡੰ॥
(ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਸ਼ੋਰ) ਨੌਂ ਖੰਡਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਗਿਆ।
Such a heroic battle was fought that all the people of the world living in nine quarters, knew it.
ਚਲਿਯੋਸਸਤ੍ਰਬਾਹੀ॥
(ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲ ਚੰਦ) ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰ ਚਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਗੇ ਤੁਰਦਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਰਜੌਤੀਨਿਬਾਹੀ॥੧੪॥
(ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਰਾਜਪੂਤੀ ਮਰਯਾਦਾ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਿਭਾਇਆ ॥੧੪॥
His weapons wrought havoc and he exhibited himself as a true fajput.14.

ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਿਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਦੀ ਵਿਉਂਤ ਬਣਾਈ
All the chiefs of the allies, in great anger, entered the fray.
ਸੈਨਕਟੋਚਨਕੀਤਬੈਘੇਰਲਈਅਰਰਾਇ॥੧੫॥
ਅਤੇ ਕਟੋਚੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਭੀਮ ਚੰਦ ('ਅਰਿ-ਰਾਇ') ਨੇ ਘੇਰ ਲਿਆ ॥੧੫॥
And besieged the army of Katoch. 15.

ਨਾਂਗਲੂ, ਪਾਂਗਲੂ, ਵੇਦੜੋਲ,
ਜਸਵਾਰੇਗੁਲੇਰੇਚਲੇਬਾਂਧਟੋਲੰ॥
ਜਸਵਾਲ, ਗੁਲੇਰੀਏ (ਵਖ ਵਖ ਰਿਆਸਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਪੂਤ) ਸੈਨਿਕ ਦਲ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਚਲ ਪਏ।
The Rajputs of the tribes of Nanglua and Panglu advanced in groups alongwith the soldiers of Jaswar and Guler.
ਤਹਾਏਕਬਾਜਿਯੋਮਹਾਬੀਰਦਿਆਲੰ॥
ਉਦੋਂ ਹੀ (ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਦਲ ਵਲੋਂ) ਦਿਆਲ ਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਇਕ ਵੱਡਾ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਗਜਿਆ,
ਰਖੀਲਾਜਜੌਨੈਸਬੈਬਿਝੜਵਾਲੰ॥੧੬॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਬਿਝੜਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਲਾਜ ਰਖ ਲਈ ॥੧੬॥
The greater warrior Dayal also joined and saved the honour of the people of Bijharwal. 16.
ਤਵੰਕੀਟਤੌਲੌਤੁਫੰਗੰਸੰਭਾਰੋ॥
(ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ!) ਤੇਰੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਇਕ ਬੰਦੂਕ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਭਾਲਿਆ
ਹ੍ਰਿਦੈਏਕਰਾਵੰਤਕੇਤਕਿਮਾਰੋ॥
ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਤ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਇਕ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੀ ਛਾਤੀ ਵਿਚ ਦਾਗ਼ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
Then this lowly person (the Guru himself) took up his gun and aimed unerringly at one of the chiefs.
ਗਿਰਿਯੋਝੂਮਿਭੂਮੈਕਰਿਯੋਜੁਧਸੁਧੰ॥
(ਉਹ) ਭੰਵਾਟੀ ਖਾ ਕੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਡਿਗ ਪਿਆ (ਪਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਚੰਗਾ ਯੁੱਧ ਕੀਤਾ
ਤਊਮਾਰੁਬੋਲ੍ਯੋਮਹਾਮਾਨਿਕ੍ਰੁਧੰ॥੧੭॥
(ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) ਉਦੋਂ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਅਣਖੀਲੇ ਨੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਮਾਰੋ-ਮਾਰੋ ਹੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ ॥੧੭॥
He reeled and fell down on the ground in the battlefield, but even then he thundered in anger.17.
ਤਜਿਯੋਤੁਪਕੰਬਾਨਪਾਨੰਸੰਭਾਰੇ॥
(ਫਿਰ) ਬੰਦੂਕ ਛਡ ਕੇ (ਮੈਂ) ਬਾਣ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਲੈ ਲਏ।
ਚਤੁਰਬਾਨਯੰਲੈਸੁਸਬਿਯੰਪ੍ਰਹਾਰੇ॥
ਚਾਰ ਬਾਣ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਸਜੇ ਹੱਥ ਨਾਲ ਛਡੇ
I then threw away the gun and took the arrows in my hand, I shot four of them.
ਤ੍ਰਿਯੋਬਾਣਲੈਬਾਮਪਾਣੰਚਲਾਏ॥
ਅਤੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਬਾਣ ਖਬੇ ਹੱਥ ਨਾਲ ਚਲਾਏ।
ਲਗੈਯਾਲਗੈਨਾਕਛੂਜਾਨਿਪਾਏ॥੧੮॥
ਉਹ ਤੀਰ (ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ) ਲਗੇ ਜਾਂ ਨਾ ਲਗੇ, (ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ) ਕੁਝ ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ॥੧੮॥
Another three I discharged with my left hand, whether they struck anybody, I do not know. 18.
ਸੁਤਉਲਉਦਈਵਜੁਧਕੀਨੋਉਝਾਰੰ॥
ਤਦ ਤਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ
ਤਿਨੈਖੇਦਕੈਬਾਰਿਕੇਬੀਚਡਾਰੰ॥
ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ (ਵੈਰੀਆਂ) ਨੂੰ ਖਦੇੜ ਕੇ (ਨਦੀ ਦੇ) ਜਲ ਵਿਚ ਸੁਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
Then the Lord brought the end of the fight and the enemy was driven out into the river.
ਪਰੀਮਾਰਬੁੰਗੰਛੁਟੀਬਾਣਗੋਲੀ॥
(ਉਪਰੋਂ) ਟਿਬਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਗੋਲੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਬੌਛਾੜ ਹੋਈ
ਮਨੋਸੂਰਬੈਠੇਭਲੀਖੇਲਹੋਲੀ॥੧੯॥
ਮਾਨੋ (ਹੇਠਲੇ ਘਾਇਲ ਸੂਰਮੇ) ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੋਲੀ ਖੇਡ ਕੇ ਬੈਠੇ ਹੋਣ ॥੧੯॥
Form the hill the bullets and arrows were showered. It seemed that the sun set down after playing a good holi.19.
ਗਿਰੇਬੀਰਭੂਮੰਸਰੰਸਾਂਗਪੇਲੰ॥
ਤੀਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਰਛੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਪਰੋਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਯੁੱਧ-ਵੀਰ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਡਿਗੇ ਪਏ ਸਨ।
ਰੰਗੇਸ੍ਰੋਣਬਸਤ੍ਰੰਮਨੋਫਾਗਖੇਲੰ॥
(ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ) ਬਸਤ੍ਰ ਲਹੂ ਨਾਲ ਰੰਗੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ ਮਾਨੋ ਫਾਗ ਖੇਡ ਕੇ (ਆਰਾਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹੋਣ)।
Pierced by arrows and spears, the warriors fell in the battlefield. Their clothes were dyed with blood, it seemed that they played holi.
ਲੀਯੋਜੀਤਿਬੈਰੀਕੀਆਆਨਿਡੇਰੰ॥
ਵੈਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਤ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਆ ਕੇ ਡੇਰੇ (ਵਿਚ ਬਿਸ੍ਰਾਮ ਕੀਤਾ।)।
ਤੇਊਜਾਇਪਾਰੰਰਹੇਬਾਰਿਕੇਰੰ॥੨੦॥
(ਅਤੇ) ਵੈਰੀ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਪਾਰ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਪੈ ਗਏ ॥੨੦॥
After conquering the enemy, they came for rest at heir place of encampment, on the other side of the reiver. 20.
ਭਈਰਾਤ੍ਰਿਗੁਬਾਰਕੇਅਰਧਜਾਮੰ॥
ਹਨੇਰੀ ਰਾਤ ਦਾ ਅੱਧਾ ਕੁ ਪਹਿਰ ਬੀਤਿਆ
ਤਬੈਛੋਰਿਗੇਬਾਰਦੇਵੈਦਮਾਮੰ॥
ਤਾਂ (ਉਹ) ਲਕੜ ਦੀ ਬਣੀ ਵਾੜ (ਅਸਥਾਈ ਕੋਟ) ਛਡ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਧੌਂਸਾ ਵਜਾਉਣ ਦੀ (ਜ਼ਿਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਨਗਾਰਚੀ ਨੂੰ ਸੌਂਪ ਗਏ)।
Sometime after midnight they left, while beating the drums.
ਸਬੈਰਾਤ੍ਰਿਬੀਤੀਉਦ੍ਯੋਦਿਉਸਰਾਣੰ॥
ਸਾਰੀ ਰਾਤ ਬੀਤ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਰਜ ('ਦਿਉਸ ਰਾਣੰ') ਚੜ੍ਹ ਆਇਆ।
ਚਲੇਬੀਰਚਾਲਾਕਖਗੰਖਿਲਾਣੰ॥੨੧॥
(ਸਾਡੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਤੋਂ) ਫੁਰਤੀਲੇ ਵੀਰ ਤਲਵਾਰਾਂ ਘੁੰਮਾਉਂਦੇ ਚਲ ਪਏ ॥੨੧॥
When the whole night ended and the sun arose, the warriors on out side marched hastily, brandishing their spears.21.
ਭਜ੍ਯੋਅਲਿਫਖਾਨੰਨਖਾਨਾਸੰਭਾਰਿਯੋ॥
ਅਲਫ਼ ਖ਼ਾਨ ਭਜ ਗਿਆ, (ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ) ਸਾਜ਼-ਸਾਮਾਨ ਵੀ ਨਾ ਸੰਭਾਲਿਆ।
ਭਜੇਔਰਬੀਰੰਨਧੀਰੰਬਿਚਾਰਿਯੋ॥
(ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਥੀ) ਹੋਰ ਵੀਰ ਵੀ ਧੀਰਜ ਧਰੇ ਬਿਨਾ ਭਜ ਗਏ।
Alif Khan fled away, leaving back his belongings. All the other warriors fled away and did not stay anywhere.
ਨਦੀਪੈਦਿਨੰਅਸਟਕੀਨੇਮੁਕਾਮੰ॥
(ਅਸਾਂ) ਅੱਠ ਦਿਨ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਕੰਢ ਡੇਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ
ਭਲੀਭਾਤਦੇਖੈਸਬੈਰਾਜਧਾਮੰ॥੨੨॥
ਅਤੇ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਰਾਜ-ਮਹੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਿਆ ॥੨੨॥
I remained there on the bank of the river for eight more days and visited the palaces of all the chiefs.22.

ਇਤਹਮਹੋਇਬਿਦਾਘਰਿਆਏ॥
ਇਧਰ ਅਸੀਂ (ਭੀਮ ਚੰਦ ਤੋਂ) ਵਿਦਾ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਘਰ (ਆਨੰਦਪੁਰ) ਪਰਤੇ
ਸੁਲਹਨਮਿਤਵੈਉਤਹਿਸਿਧਾਏ॥
ਅਤੇ ਉਧਰ ਉਹ (ਭੀਮ ਚੰਦ ਆਦਿ) ਸੰਧੀ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਗਏ।
Then I took leave and came home, they went there to settle the terms of peace.
ਸੰਧਿਇਨੈਉਨਕੈਸੰਗਿਕਈ॥
ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਧੀ ਕਰ ਲਈ
ਹੇਤਕਥਾਪੂਰਨਇਤਭਈ॥੨੩॥
ਅਤੇ (ਇਹ) ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਕਥਾ ਇਥੇ ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਹੋ ਗਈ ॥੨੩॥
Both the parties made and agreement, therefore the story ends here.23.
