ਅਤੇ (ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਆਪ ਆ ਕੇ ਦੱਤ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਧਾਰਨ ਕੀਤਾ।

(ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਇਹ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਹੋਇਆ ॥੩੬॥
Took birth in the home of Ansuya this was his first incarnation.36.

ਉਪਜਿਓਸੁਦਤਮੋਨੀਮਹਾਨ॥
ਮਹਾ ਮੋਨੀ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਾਲਾ ਦੱਤ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ,
ਦਸਚਾਰਚਾਰਬਿਦਿਆਨਿਧਾਨ॥
ਜੋ ਅਠਾਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਸੀ।
The loving Dutt, the store of eighteen sciences was born
ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰਗਿਸੁਧਸੁੰਦਰਸਰੂਪ॥
(ਉਹ) ਸ਼ਾਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਗਿਆਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਾਲਾ ਸੀ
ਅਵਧੂਤਰੂਪਗਣਸਰਬਭੂਪ॥੩੭॥
ਅਤੇ ਅਵਧੂਤ ਰੂਪ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਗਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਸੀ ॥੩੭॥
He was the knower of Shastras and had a charming figure he was Yogi king of all the ganas.37.
ਸੰਨਿਆਸਜੋਗਕਿਨੋਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ॥
(ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਸੰਨਿਆਸ ਅਤੇ ਯੋਗ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਪਾਵਨਪਵਿਤਸਰਬਤ੍ਰਦਾਸ॥
(ਉਹ) ਪਾਵਨ, ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਦਾ ਦਾਸ ਸੀ।
He spread the cults of Sannyas and Yoga and he was totally spotless and servitor of all
ਜਨਧਰਿਓਆਨਿਬਪੁਸਰਬਜੋਗ॥
ਮਾਨੋ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਯੋਗਾਂ ਨੇ ਆ ਕੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਧਾਰਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਵੇ।
ਤਜਿਰਾਜਸਾਜਅਰੁਤਿਆਗਭੋਗ॥੩੮॥
(ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਰਾਜ ਸਾਜ ਅਤੇ ਭੋਗ ਤਿਆਗ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਸਨ ॥੩੮॥
He was the apparent manifestation of Yoga, who abandoned the path of royal pleasure.38.
ਆਛਿਜਰੂਪਮਹਿਮਾਮਹਾਨ॥
(ਉਹ) ਨਾ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਾਲਾ, ਮਹਾਨ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਵਾਲਾ,
ਦਸਚਾਰਵੰਤਸੋਭਾਨਿਧਾਨ॥
ਚੌਦਾਂ (ਵਿਦਿਆਵਾਂ) ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ੋਭਾ ਦਾ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਸੀ।
He was greatly praiseworthy, had a charming personality and also the store-house of Grace
ਰਵਿਅਨਿਲਤੇਜਜਲਸੋਸੁਭਾਵ॥
ਸੂਰਜ, ਵਾਯੂ, ਅਗਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਜਲ ਦੇ ਸੁਭਾ ਵਾਲਾ ਸੀ।
ਉਪਜਿਆਜਗਤਸੰਨ੍ਯਾਸਰਾਵ॥੩੯॥
(ਉਹ) 'ਸੰਨਿਆਸ-ਰਾਜ' ਵਜੋਂ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ॥੩੯॥
His disposition was radiant like sun and fire and had cool temperament like water he manifested himself as the king of Yogis in the world.39.
ਸੰਨ੍ਯਾਸਰਾਜਭਏਦਤਦੇਵ॥
ਦੱਤ ਸੰਨਿਆਸ-ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ
ਰੁਦ੍ਰਾਵਤਾਰਸੁੰਦਰਅਜੇਵ॥
(ਜੋ) ਨਾ ਜਿਤੇ ਜਾ ਸਕਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਰੁਦ੍ਰ ਦਾ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਸੀ।
Dutt Dev was superior to all in Sannyas Ashrama (monastic order) and was becoming incarnation of Rudra
ਪਾਵਕਸਮਾਨਭਯੇਤੇਜਜਾਸੁ॥
ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਤੇਜ ਅਗਨੀ ਵਰਗਾ ਸੀ।
ਬਸੁਧਾਸਮਾਨਧੀਰਜਸੁਤਾਸੁ॥੪੦॥
ਉਸ ਦਾ ਧੀਰਜ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਰਗਾ ਸੀ ॥੪੦॥
His radiance was like fire and power of Rudra his radiance was like fire and power endurance like earth.40.
ਪਰਮੰਪਵਿਤ੍ਰਭਏਦੇਵਦਤ॥
ਦੱਤ ਦੇਵ ਪਰਮ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ।
ਆਛਿਜਤੇਜਅਰੁਬਿਮਲਮਤਿ॥
(ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਤੇਜ ਅਣਛਿਜ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਬੁੱਧੀ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਸੀ।
Dutt was a person of purity, indestructible splendour and pure intellect
ਸੋਵਰਣਦੇਖਿਲਾਜੰਤਅੰਗ॥
(ਜਿਸ ਦਾ) ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਸੋਨਾ ਲਜਿਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ
ਸੋਭੰਤਸੀਸਗੰਗਾਤਰੰਗ॥੪੧॥
ਅਤੇ ਸਿਰ ਉਤੇ ਗੰਗਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ (ਜਟਾਵਾਂ) ਸ਼ੋਭਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ ॥੪੧॥
Even the gold feel shy before him and the waves of the Ganges seemed to surge over his head.41.
ਆਜਾਨਬਾਹੁਅਲਿਪਤਰੂਪ॥
(ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ) ਗੋਡਿਆਂ ਤਕ ਬਾਂਹਵਾਂ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਰਲਿਪਤ ਰੂਪ ਸੀ।
ਆਦਗਜੋਗਸੁੰਦਰਸਰੂਪ॥
ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ਯੋਗ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਾਲਾ ਸੀ।
He had long arms and charming body and was a detached supreme Yogi
ਬਿਭੂਤਅੰਗਉਜਲਸੁਬਾਸ॥
ਅੰਗਾਂ ਉਪਰ ਲਗੀ ਵਿਭੂਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਉਜਲੀ ਵਾਸਨਾ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਸੀ।
ਸੰਨਿਆਸਜੋਗਕਿਨੋਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ॥੪੨॥
(ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਸੰਨਿਆਸ ਯੋਗ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ॥੪੨॥
When he applied the ashes to his limbs, he fragranced everyone around him and he brought to light Sannyas and Yoga in the world.42.
ਅਵਿਲੋਕਿਅੰਗਮਹਿਮਾਅਪਾਰ॥
(ਉਸ ਦੇ) ਅੰਗਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਅਪਰ ਅਪਾਰ ਦਿਸਦੀ ਸੀ।
ਸੰਨਿਆਸਰਾਜਉਪਜਾਉਦਾਰ॥
(ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ) ਸੰਨਿਆਸ ਰਾਜ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ।
The praise of his limbs seemed boundless and he manifested himself as a generous king of the Yogis
ਅਨਭੂਤਗਾਤਆਭਾਅਨੰਤ॥
(ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਅਦਭੁਤ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਅਨੰਤ ਚਮਕ ਦਮਕ ਸੀ।
ਮੋਨੀਮਹਾਨਸੋਭਾਲਸੰਤ॥੪੩॥
(ਉਹ) ਮਹਾਨ ਮੋਨੀ ਸੀ (ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ) ਸ਼ੋਭਾ ਚਮਕਦੀ ਸੀ ॥੪੩॥
The brilliance of his body was infinite and from his great personality, he appeared to be a silence-observing ascetic and eminently glorious.43.
ਆਭਾਅਪਾਰਮਹਿਮਾਅਨੰਤ॥
(ਉਸ ਦੀ) ਅਪਾਰ ਕਾਂਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਸੀ।
ਸੰਨ੍ਯਾਸਰਾਜਕਿਨੋਬਿਅੰਤ॥
(ਉਹ) ਸੰਨਿਆਸ ਰਾਜ ਬੇਅੰਤ (ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਵਾਲਾ) ਸੀ।
ਕਾਪਿਆਕਪਟੁਤਿਹਉਦੇਹੋਤ॥
ਉਸ ਦੇ ਜਨਮ ਲੈਂਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਕਪਟ ਕੰਬਣ ਲਗ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
ਤਤਛਿਨਅਕਪਟਕਿਨੋਉਦੋਤ॥੪੪॥
(ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਉਸੇ ਵੇਲੇ 'ਅਕਪਟ' ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ॥੪੪॥
That king of the Yogis spread his infinite greatness and glory and on his manifestation, the fraudulent tendencies trembled and he made them stingless in an instant.44.
ਮਹਿਮਾਅਛਿਜਅਨਭੂਤਗਾਤ॥
ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਨਾ ਛਿਜਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਅਦਭੁਤ ਸੀ।
ਆਵਿਲੋਕਿਪੁਤ੍ਰਚਕਿਰਹੀਮਾਤ॥
(ਅਜਿਹੇ) ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਮਾਤਾ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਰਹਿ ਗਈ।
Seeing his indestructible greatness and unique body, the mother remained wonder-struck
ਦੇਸਨਬਿਦੇਸਚਕਿਰਹੀਸਰਬ॥
ਦੇਸਾਂ ਵਿਦੇਸਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਸਭ ਲੋਕ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਸਨ।
ਸੁਨਿਸਰਬਰਿਖਿਨਤਜਿਦੀਨਗਰਬ॥੪੫॥
(ਦੱਤ ਦੀ ਆਮਦ) ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਰਿਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਛਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ॥੪੫॥
All the people in counties far and near also marveled to see him and all of them abandoned their pride on listening to his greatness.45.
ਸਰਬਤ੍ਰਪ੍ਰਯਾਲਸਰਬਤ੍ਰਅਕਾਸ॥
ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਪਾਤਾਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਆਕਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿਚ
ਚਲਚਾਲਚਿਤੁਸੁੰਦਰਸੁਬਾਸ॥
ਅਤੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਨਿਵਾਸਾਂ (ਵਿਚ ਵਸਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੇ) ਚਿਤ ਵਿਚ ਹਲਚਲ ਮਚ ਗਈ।
The whole nether-world and sky had the feeling about his comeliness which made all the creatures full of joy
ਕੰਪਾਇਮਾਨਹਰਖੰਤਰੋਮ॥
(ਸ਼ਰੀਰ) ਕੰਬਣ ਲਗੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਰੋਮ ਖੜੇ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਸਨ।
ਆਨੰਦਮਾਨਸਭਭਈਭੋਮ॥੪੬॥
ਸਾਰੀ ਭੂਮੀ ਆਨੰਦਮਈ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਸੀ ॥੪੬॥
Because of him, the whole earth became blissful.46.
ਥਰਹਰਤਭੂਮਿਆਕਾਸਸਰਬ॥
ਸਾਰਾ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਕੰਬ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ।
ਜਹਤਹਰਿਖੀਨਤਜਿਦੀਨਗਰਬ॥
ਜਿਥੇ ਕਿਥੇ ਰਿਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਛਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ।
The sky and the earth all quivered and the sages here and there abandoned their pride
ਬਾਜੇਬਜੰਤ੍ਰਅਨੇਕਗੈਨ॥
ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿਚ ਅਨੇਕ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਾਜੇ ਵਜ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ।
ਦਸਦਿਉਸਪਾਇਦਿਖੀਨਰੈਣ॥੪੭॥
ਦਸ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ ਪਈ ਦਿਖੀ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ॥੪੭॥
On his manifestation, many instruments (musical) were played in the sky and for ten days, the presence o f night was not felt.47.
