(ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਨੈਣ) ਤੀਰਾਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਹਨ, ਜਾਂ ਤਲਵਾਰਾਂ ਜਿਹੇ ਹਨ, ਜਾਂ ਹਿਰਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਮਾਨ ਹਨ। (ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ) ਜਾ ਕੇ ਵੇਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਰੀਝਰਹੀਰਿਝਵਾਰਲਖੇਦੁਤਿਭਾਖਿਪ੍ਰਭਾਨਹੀਜਾਤਬਤਾਈ॥
(ਰਾਜੇ ਦੀ) ਚਮਕ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ (ਸਾਰੀ ਲੁਕਾਈ) ਰੀਝ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਕਹਿ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦੇ।
He is impressive like a sword or an arrow his simple beauty like the young one of a deer is worth seeing all are getting pleased on seeing him and his glory is indescribable
ਸੰਗਿਚਲੀਉਠਿਬਾਲਬਿਲੋਕਨਮੋਰਚਕੋਰਰਹੇਉਰਝਾਈ॥
ਇਸਤਰੀ (ਰਾਜ ਕੁਮਾਰੀ) ਵੇਖਣ ਲਈ (ਹੋਰਨਾਂ) ਨਾਲ ਉਠ ਕੇ ਚਲ ਪਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੋਰ, ਚਕੋਰ ਵੀ (ਉਸ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਦੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਬਾਰੇ) ਉਲਝੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।
ਡੀਠਿਪਰੈਅਜਿਰਾਜਜਬੈਚਿਤਦੇਖਤਹੀਤ੍ਰੀਅਲੀਨਚੁਰਾਈ॥੮੫॥
ਜਿਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਅਜ ਰਾਜਾ ਦਿਖ ਗਿਆ, ਵੇਖਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਰਾਜ ਕੁਮਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਚਿਤ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਰਾ ਲਿਆ ॥੮੫॥
The princess is moving forward to see him and seeing him, the peacocks and partridges have fallen in confusion the heart of that princess was fascinated, the moment she saw the king Aj.85.

(ਰਾਜ ਕੁਮਾਰੀ ਨੇ) ਅਜ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਅਤਿਰੂਪਸਰਬਸਮਾਜ॥
ਉਹ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਸਹਿਤ ਹੈ।
ਅਤਿਰੀਝਕੈਹਸਬਾਲ॥
ਬਹੁਤ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਹਸ ਕੇ (ਰਾਜ ਕੁਮਾਰੀ ਨੇ)
ਗੁਹਿਫੂਲਮਾਲਉਤਾਲ॥੮੬॥
ਛੇਤੀ ਹੀ ਫੁਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਾਲਾ ਗੁੰਦ ਲਈ ॥੮੬॥
When the princess saw the king, the treasure of beauty, she held her wreath of flowers with smile.86.
ਗਹਿਫੂਲਕੀਕਰਿਮਾਲ॥
(ਫਿਰ) ਫੁਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਾਲਾ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਫੜ ਲਈ।
ਅਤਿਰੂਪਵੰਤਸੁਬਾਲ॥
ਉਹ ਰਾਜ ਕੁਮਾਰੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਾਲੀ ਹੈ।
ਤਿਸੁਡਾਰੀਆਉਰਿਆਨਿ॥
ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆ ਕੇ (ਅਜ ਰਾਜਾ) ਦੇ ਗਲੇ ਵਿਚ ਮਾਲਾ ਪਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ
ਦਸਚਾਰਿਚਾਰਿਨਿਧਾਨਿ॥੮੭॥
ਜੋ ਅਠਾਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਿਧੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਸੀ ॥੮੭॥
The charming damsel caught the garland in her hand and put it around the neck of the king, expert in eighteen sciences.87.
ਤਿਹਦੇਬਿਆਗਿਆਕੀਨ॥
ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਵੀ (ਸਰਸਵਤੀ) ਨੇ ਆਗਿਆ ਕੀਤੀ
ਦਸਚਾਰਿਚਾਰਿਪ੍ਰਬੀਨ॥
ਜੋ ਅਠਾਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਲਾਵਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਨਿਪੁਣ ਸੀ।
ਸੁਨਿਸੁੰਦਰੀਇਮਬੈਨ॥
ਹੇ ਸੁੰਦਰੀ! ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਚਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣੋ,
ਸਸਿਕ੍ਰਾਤਸੁੰਦਰਨੈਨ॥੮੮॥
ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਨੈਣ ਚੰਦ੍ਰਮਾ ਵਾਂਗ ਜੋਤਿਮਈ ਹਨ ॥੮੮॥
The goddess said to that princess, who was expert in all sciences, “O beautiful maiden like moonlight having charming eyes! listen to what I say.88.
ਤਵਜੋਗਹੈਅਜਿਰਾਜ॥
ਅਜ ਰਾਜਾ ਤੇਰਾ (ਪਤੀ ਹੋਣ) ਯੋਗ ਹੈ।
ਸੁਨਰੂਪਵੰਤਸਲਾਜ॥
ਸੁਣ, ਉਹ ਰੂਪਵਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਲਾਜ ਸਹਿਤ ਹੈ।
“O princess full of charm and shyness! the king Aj is worthy match for you
ਬਰੁਆਜੁਤਾਕਹਜਾਇ॥
ਹੁਣੇ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਵਰ ਲੈ।
ਸੁਨਿਬੈਨਿਸੁੰਦਰਕਾਇ॥੮੯॥
ਹੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਵਾਲੀਏ! (ਮੇਰੇ) ਬਚਨ ਸੁਣ ਲੈ ॥੮੯॥
You see him and listen to my speech”89.
ਗਹਿਫੂਲਮਾਲਪ੍ਰਬੀਨ॥
ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਬੀਨ (ਰਾਜ ਕੁਮਾਰੀ) ਨੇ ਫੁਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਾਲਾ ਪਕੜ ਕੇ,
ਉਰਿਡਾਰਤਾਕੇਦੀਨ॥
ਉਸ ਦੇ ਗਲ ਵਿਚ ਪਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
The princess caught the wreath of flowers and put it around the neck of the king and
ਤਬਬਾਜਤੂਰਅਨੇਕ॥
ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਖ਼ਾਸ ਕਰ ਕੇ
ਡਫਬੀਣਬੇਣਬਸੇਖ॥੯੦॥
ਡਫ਼, ਬੀਨ, ਬੇਣ ਅਤੇ ਤੂਰ ਆਦਿ ਵਜੇ ਵਜਣ ਲਗੇ ॥੯੦॥
At that time many musical instruments including the lyre were played.90.
ਡਫਬਾਜਢੋਲਮ੍ਰਿਦੰਗ॥
ਡਫ, ਢੋਲ, ਮ੍ਰਿਦੰਗ,
ਅਤਿਤੂਰਤਾਨਤਰੰਗ॥
ਤੂਰ, ਤਾਨ, ਤਰੰਗ, ਨਵੀਂ ਬੰਸੁਰੀ ਆਦਿ ਵਾਜੇ ਵਜਦੇ ਹਨ।
The tabor, drum, kettledrum and many other musical instruments of various tunes and tones were played
ਨਯਬਾਸੁਰੀਅਰੁਬੈਨ॥
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਬੋਲ ਮਿਲਾ ਕੇ
ਬਹੁਸੁੰਦਰੀਸੁਭਨੈਨ॥੯੧॥
ਬਹੁਤ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ੁਭ ਨੈਣਾਂ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ (ਇਸਤਰੀਆਂ ਗਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ) ॥੯੧॥
The flutes were played and there were many beautiful ladies of charming eyes seated there.91.
ਤਿਹਬਿਆਹਿਕੈਅਜਿਰਾਜਿ॥
ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਜ ਰਾਜਾ ਵਿਆਹ ਕੇ
ਬਹੁਭਾਤਿਲੈਕਰਦਾਜ॥
ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਦਾਜ ਲੈ ਕੇ
The king Aj wedded that damsel and taking various types of dowry and
ਗ੍ਰਿਹਆਈਆਸੁਖਪਾਇ॥
ਅਤੇ ਸੁਖ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਕੇ
ਡਫਬੇਣਬੀਣਬਜਾਇ॥੯੨॥
ਡਫ, ਬੇਣ ਅਤੇ ਬੀਨ ਵਜਾਉਂਦਾ ਘਰ ਆ ਗਿਆ ॥੯੨॥
Causing the tabor and lyre to be played, he retuned home with great happiness.92.
ਅਜਿਰਾਜਰਾਜਮਹਾਨ॥
ਅਜ ਰਾਜ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਹਾਨ ਰਾਜਾ ਹੈ
ਦਸਚਾਰਿਚਾਰਿਨਿਧਾਨ॥
ਅਤੇ ਅਠਾਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਿਧੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹੈ।
The king expert in eighteen sciences, was the ocean of pleasure and store of gentleness
ਸੁਖਸਿੰਧੁਸੀਲਸਮੁੰਦ੍ਰ॥
ਉਹ ਸੁਖ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ੀਲ ਦਾ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਹੈ
ਜਿਨਿਜੀਤਿਆਰਣਰੁਦ੍ਰ॥੯੩॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਯੁੱਧ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਰੁਦ੍ਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਤ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ ॥੯੩॥
He had conquered even Shiva in the war.93.
ਇਹਭਾਤਿਰਾਜਕਮਾਇ॥
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ (ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਰਾਜ ਕਮਾਇਆ
ਸਿਰਿਅਤ੍ਰਪਤ੍ਰਫਿਰਾਇ॥
ਅਤੇ ਸਿਰ ਉਤੇ ਛਤ੍ਰ ਝੁਲਵਾਇਆ।
In this waay, he ruled and caused the canopy to be swung over his head and in the whole world,
ਰਣਧੀਰਰਾਜਬਿਸੇਖ॥
ਉਹ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ ਰਣਧੀਰ ਹੈ।
ਜਗਕੀਨਜਾਸੁਭਿਖੇਖ॥੯੪॥
ਉਸ ਨੇ ਰਾਜ ਤਿਲਕ ਵੇਲੇ ਯੱਗ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ॥੯੪॥
The ceremonies regarding he divine kingship of that victorious king were performed.94.
ਜਗਜੀਤਚਾਰਿਦਿਸਾਨ॥
(ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਜਗਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਚੌਹਾਂ ਦਿਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਤ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਅਜਿਰਾਜਰਾਜਮਹਾਨ॥
ਅਜ ਰਾਜਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਹਾਨ ਰਾਜਾ ਹੈ।
The king Aj, after conquering all the four directions, gave charities of materials as a generous king
ਨ੍ਰਿਪਦਾਨਸੀਲਪਹਾਰ॥
(ਉਹ) ਰਾਜਾ ਦਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ੀਲ ਦਾ ਪਹਾੜ ਹੈ।
ਦਸਚਾਰਿਚਾਰਿਉਦਾਰ॥੯੫॥
ਉਹ ਅਠਾਰ੍ਹਾਂ (ਵਿਦਿਆਵਾਂ) ਵਿਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਉਦਾਰ ਹੈ ॥੯੫॥
Being expert in all sciences, that king was extremely benevolent.95.
ਦੁਤਿਵੰਤਿਸੁੰਦਰਨੈਨ॥
ਸੁੰਦਰ ਚਮਕ ਦਮਕ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਨੈਣਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ,
ਜਿਹਪੇਖਿਖਿਝਤਮੈਨ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਕਾਮਦੇਵ ਵੀ ਖਿਝਦਾ ਹੈ।
His eyes and body were so charming, hat even the god of love felt jealous
ਮੁਖਦੇਖਿਚੰਦ੍ਰਸਰੂਪ॥
(ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਮੁਖ ਚੰਦ੍ਰਮਾ ਵਰਗਾ ਦਿਖਦਾ ਹੈ।
