ਆਸਨਅਰਧਦਯੋਤੁਹਯਾਬ੍ਰਤ॥
ਇਸ ਨੇ ਨਿਯਮ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਅੱਧਾ ਆਸਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ।
He said, “O king! do not strike Indra, there is reason on his part for offering you half of his seat
ਹੈਲਵਨਾਸ੍ਰਮਹਾਸੁਰਭੂਧਰਿ॥
(ਅਜਿਹਾ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹੋਇਆ) ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਪਰ 'ਲਵਨਾਸੁਰ' ਨਾਂ ਦੇ
ਤਾਹਿਨਮਾਰਸਕੇਤੁਮਕਿਉਕਰ॥੧੧੧॥
ਵੱਡੇ ਦੈਂਤ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕੇ ਹੋ ॥੧੧੧॥
There is one demon named Lavanasura on earth, why have you not been able to kill him as yet?111.
ਜੌਤੁਮਤਾਹਿਸੰਘਾਰਕੈਆਵਹੁ॥
ਜੇ ਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਆਵੋਗੇ
ਤੌਤੁਮਇੰਦ੍ਰਸਿੰਘਾਸਨਪਾਵਹੁ॥
ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ (ਪੂਰਾ) ਇੰਦਰ ਆਸਨ ਪਾ ਲਵੋਗੇ।
ਐਸੇਕੈਅਰਧਸਿੰਘਾਸਨਬੈਠਹੁ॥
ਇਸ ਲਈ (ਤੁਸੀਂ) ਅੱਧੇ ਸਿੰਘਾਸਨ ਉਤੇ ਬੈਠ ਜਾਓ।
ਸਾਚੁਕਹੋਪਰਨਾਕੁਨਐਠਹੁ॥੧੧੨॥
(ਮੈਂ) ਸੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਨਕ ਨਾ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਓ ॥੧੧੨॥
“When you will come after killing him, you will then have the full seat of Indra, therefore now be seated on half the seat and accepting this truth, do not exhibit your anger.”112.

ਧਾਯੋਅਸਤ੍ਰਲੈਕੇਤਹਾ॥
(ਰਾਜ ਮਾਨਧਾਤਾ) ਅਸਤ੍ਰ (ਧਨੁਸ਼) ਲੈ ਕੇ ਭਜ ਕੇ ਉਥੇ ਗਿਆ,
ਮਥੁਰਾਮੰਡਲਦਾਨੋਥਾਜਹਾ॥
ਜਿਥੇ ਮਥੁਰਾ ਮੰਡਲ ਵਿਚ (ਉਹ ਲਵਨਾਸੁਰ) ਦੈਂਤ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ।
The king, taking up his weapons, reached there, where the demon lived in Mathura-Mandal
ਮਹਾਗਰਬੁਕੈਕੈਮਹਾਮੰਦਬੁਧੀ॥
ਉਸ ਮਹਾ ਮੰਦ ਬੁੱਧੀ ਵਾਲੇ (ਦੈਂਤ ਨੇ) ਹੰਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ
ਮਹਾਜੋਰਕੈਕੈਦਲੰਪਰਮਕ੍ਰੁਧੀ॥੧੧੩॥
ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡਾ ਦਲ ਜੋੜ ਰਖਿਆ ਸੀ ॥੧੧੩॥
He was a great stupid and an egoist, he was a most powerful one and dreadfully outrageous.113.
ਮਹਾਘੋਰਕੈਕੈਘਨੰਕੀਘਟਾਜਿਯੋ॥
ਬਦਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਾਲੀਆਂ ਘਟਾਵਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਬਹੁਤ ਗਜ ਵਜ ਕੇ
ਸੁਧਾਇਆਰਣੰਬਿਜੁਲੀਕੀਛਟਾਜਿਯੋ॥
ਅਤੇ ਲਾਲ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਦੀ ਲਿਸ਼ਕ ਵਾਂਗ ਹਲਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਪਿਆ।
Thundering like the clouds Mandhata fell upon (the demon) in the battlefield like lightning
ਸੁਨੇਸਰਬਦਾਨੋਸੁਸਾਮੁਹਿਸਿਧਾਇ॥
(ਹਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ) ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦਾਨਵ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆ ਢੁਕੇ
MEDAK STANZA
ਮਹਾਕ੍ਰੋਧਕੈਕੈਸੁਬਾਜੀਨਚਾਏ॥੧੧੪॥
ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਚਾਇਆ ॥੧੧੪॥
When the demons heard this, they also confronted him and furioudly caused their horses to dance.114.
ਮੇਦਕਛੰਦ॥
ਮੇਦਕ ਛੰਦ:
ਅਬਏਕਕੀਏਬਿਨੁਯੌਨਟਰੈ॥
ਹੁਣ (ਦੋਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ) ਇਕ ਕੀਤੇ ਬਿਨਾ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਟਲਣਗੇ।
ਦੋਊਦਾਤਨਪੀਸਹੰਕਾਰਿਪਰੈ॥
ਦੋਵੇਂ ਦੰਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੀਹ ਕੇ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਨਾਲ (ਇਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਉਤੇ) ਪੈ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
The king was determined to kill him and body of the enemies, grinding their teeth and challenging each other began to fight violently
ਜਬਲੌਨਸੁਨੋਲਵਖੇਤਮਰਾ॥
ਜਦ ਤਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੁਣਦਾ ਕਿ 'ਲਵਨਾਸੁਰ ਯੁੱਧ ਵਿਚ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ',
ਤਬਲਉਨਲਖੋਰਨਿਬਾਜਟਰਾ॥੧੧੫॥
ਤਦ ਤਕ (ਮੇਰੇ) ਘੋੜੇ ਨੂੰ ਰਣਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਪਿਛੇ ਹਟਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੇਖੋਗੇ ॥੧੧੫॥
The king did not stop the showering of arrows, as he waited to get the news of the death of Lavansaura.115.
ਅਬਹੀਰਣਿਏਕਕੀਏਕਕਰੈ॥
ਹੁਣੇ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਰਣ ਵਿਚ ਇਕੋ ਇਕ ਕਰ ਦੇਣਾ (ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ)।
ਬਿਨੁਏਕਕੀਏਰਣਿਤੇਨਟਰੈ॥
ਇਕ ਕੀਤੇ ਬਿਨਾ ਰਣ ਤੋਂ ਟਲਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ।
Both of them had the same objective and did not want to leave the battle without killing the opponent
ਬਹੁਸਾਲਸਿਲਾਤਲਬ੍ਰਿਛਛੁਟੇ॥
ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਬ੍ਰਿਛ ਅਤੇ ਪੱਥਰ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਆ ਪਏ ਹਨ
ਦੁਹੂੰਓਰਿਜਬੈਰਣਬੀਰਜੁਟੇ॥੧੧੬॥
ਜਦ ਕਿ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਪਾਸਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਰਣ ਵਿਚ ਬੀਰ ਜੁਟ ਗਏ ਹਨ ॥੧੧੬॥
Both the warriors showered trees and stones etc. from both the sides.116.
ਕੁਪਕੈਲਵਪਾਨਿਤ੍ਰਿਸੂਲਲਯੋ॥
ਲਵਨਾਸੁਰ ਨੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਿਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਤ੍ਰਿਸ਼ੂਲ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ
ਸਿਰਿਧਾਤਯਮਾਨਦੁਖੰਡਕਿਯੋ॥
ਅਤੇ (ਰਾਜਾ) ਮਾਨਧਾਤਾ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਦੋ ਟੋਟੇ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
Lavanasura held his trident in his hand in anger and chopped the head of Mandhata into two parts
ਬਹੁਜੂਥਪਜੂਥਨਸੈਨਭਜੀ॥
ਸਾਰੇ ਸੈਨਾਪਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਟੁਕੜੀਆਂ ਭਜ ਗਈਆਂ
ਨਉਚਾਇਸਕੈਸਿਰੁਐਸਲਜੀ॥੧੧੭॥
ਅਤੇ (ਸੈਨਾ) ਅਜਿਹੀ ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦਗੀ ਹੋਈ ਕਿ ਰਾਜੇ ਦਾ ਸਿਰ ਤਕ ਨਾ ਚੁਕ ਸਕੇ ॥੧੧੭॥
The army of Mandhata ran away, being grouped together and got so much ashmed that it could not carry the head of the king.117.
ਘਨਜੈਸੇਭਜੇਘਨਘਾਇਲਹੁਐ॥
(ਹਵਾ ਨਾਲ) ਜਿਵੇਂ ਬਦਲ ਭਜ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮੀ ਹੋ ਕੇ (ਭਜੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ)।
ਬਰਖਾਜਿਮਿਸ੍ਰੋਣਤਧਾਰਚੁਐ॥
ਮੀਂਹ ਦੇ ਵਰ੍ਹਨ ਵਾਂਗ (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ) ਲਹੂ ਦੀ ਧਾਰ ਚੋ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ।
The army, getting wounded, flew away like clouds and the blood flowed as if it was raining
ਸਭਮਾਨਮਹੀਪਤਿਛੇਤ੍ਰਹਿਦੈ॥
ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਮਾਨਧਾਤਾ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਯੁੱਧ-ਭੂਮੀ ਦੀ ਭੇਟਾ ਚੜ੍ਹਾ ਕੇ
ਸਬਹੀਦਲਭਾਜਿਚਲਾਜੀਅਲੈ॥੧੧੮॥
ਸਾਰਾ ਸੈਨਾਦਲ (ਆਪਣਾ) ਜੀਅ ਬਚਾ ਕੇ ਚਲਾ ਗਿਆ ॥੧੧੮॥
Abandoning the dead king in the battlefield, the whole army of the king saved itself by fleeing away.118.
ਇਕਘੂਮਤਘਾਇਲਸੀਸਫੁਟੇ॥
ਇਕ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮੀ ਹੋਏ ਘੁੰਮ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਇਕਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਪਾਟੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ,
ਇਕਸ੍ਰੋਣਚੁਚਾਵਤਕੇਸਛੁਟੇ॥
ਇਕਨਾਂ (ਦੇ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ) ਲਹੂ ਵਗ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ (ਅਤੇ ਇਕਨਾਂ ਦੇ) ਕੇਸ ਖੁਲੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।
Those who returned, their heads cracked, their hair were loosened and being wounded, the blood flowed form their heads
ਰਣਿਮਾਰਕੈਮਾਨਿਤ੍ਰਿਸੂਲਲੀਏ॥
ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਤ੍ਰਿਸ਼ੂਲ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਮਾਨਧਾਤਾ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ
ਭਟਭਾਤਹਿਭਾਤਿਭਜਾਇਦੀਏ॥੧੧੯॥
ਅਤੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਭਜਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ ॥੧੧੯॥
In this way, Lavanasura won the battle on the strength of his trident and caused the warriors of many kinds to run away.119.

ਇਥੇ ਮਾਨਧਾਤਾ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਦੀ ਸਮਾਪਤੀ।

ਜਦ ਯੁੱਧ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਮਾਨਧਾਤਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਗਿਆ,
ਤਬਆਨਿਦਿਲੀਪਦਿਲੀਸਭਏ॥
ਤਾਂ ਦਲੀਪ (ਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ) ਦਿੱਲੀ-ਪਤੀ ਬਣਿਆ।
When Mandhata was killed in the war, then Dileep became the king of Delhi
ਬਹੁਭਾਤਿਨਦਾਨਵਦੀਹਦਲੇ॥
(ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਬਹੁਤ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੱਡੇ ਦਾਨਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਲ ਦਿੱਤਾ

ਸਬਠੌਰਸਬੈਉਠਿਧਰਮਪਲੇ॥੧੨੦॥
ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਥਾਂਵਾਂ ਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ (ਲੋਕ) ਉਠ ਕੇ ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਪਾਲਨ ਵਿਚ ਲਗ ਗਏ ॥੧੨੦॥
He destroyed the demons in various ways and propagated religion at all places.120.

ਜਬਨ੍ਰਿਪਹਨਾਮਾਨਧਾਤਾਬਰ॥
ਜਦ ਲਵਨਾਸੁਰ ਨੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਦਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ
ਸਿਵਤ੍ਰਿਸੂਲਕਰਿਧਰਿਲਵਨਾਸੁਰ॥
ਤ੍ਰਿਸ਼ੂਲ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਮਾਨਧਾਤਾ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ,
When taking the trident of Shiva, Lavanasura killed the superb king mandhata, then the king Dileep came to the throne
ਭਯੋਦਲੀਪਜਗਤਕੋਰਾਜਾ॥
ਤਦ ਦਲੀਪ ਜਗਤ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਬਣਿਆ,
ਭਾਤਿਭਾਤਿਜਿਹਰਾਜਬਿਰਾਜਾ॥੧੨੧॥
ਜੋ ਭਾਂਤ ਭਾਂਤ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਬਰਾਜਮਾਨ ਸੀ ॥੧੨੧॥
He had various types of royal luxuries.121.
ਮਹਾਰਥੀਅਰੁਮਹਾਨ੍ਰਿਪਾਰਾ॥
(ਉਹ) ਮਹਾ ਰਥੀ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਰਾਜਾ (ਅਜਿਹਾ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਸੀ)
ਕਨਕਅਵਟਿਸਾਚੇਜਨੁਢਾਰਾ॥
ਮਾਨੋ ਸੋਨੇ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਘਾਰ ਕੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਸੱਚੇ ਵਿਚ ਢਾਲਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ।
This king was a great warrior any Sovereign
ਅਤਿਸੁੰਦਰਜਨੁਮਦਨਸਰੂਪਾ॥
(ਉਹ) ਬਹੁਤ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਸੀ ਮਾਨੋ ਕਾਮ ਦੇਵ ਦਾ ਹੀ ਰੂਪ ਹੋਵੇ
ਜਾਨੁਕਬਨੇਰੂਪਕੋਭੂਪਾ॥੧੨੨॥
ਜਾਂ ਮਾਨੋ ਰੂਪ ਦਾ ਹੀ ਰਾਜਾ ਬਣਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੧੨੨॥
It seemed that he had been shaped in a mould of gold, like the form of the god of love, this king was so beautiful, that he appeared to be the Sovereign of Beauty.122.
ਬਹੁਬਿਧਿਕਰੇਜਗਬਿਸਥਾਰਾ॥
(ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਯੱਗਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਿਸਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ
ਬਿਧਵਤਹੋਮਦਾਨਮਖਸਾਰਾ॥
ਅਤੇ ਯੱਗ-ਸ਼ਾਲਾ ਵਿਚ ਮਰਯਾਦਾ ਪੂਰਵਕ ਹੋਮ ਅਤੇ ਦਾਨ ਹੋਣ ਲਗੇ।
He performed various types of Yajnas and executed hom and bestowed charities according to Vedic injunctions
ਧਰਮਧੁਜਾਜਹਤਹਬਿਰਾਜੀ॥
ਜਿਥੇ ਕਿਥੇ ਧਰਮ-ਧੁਜਾਵਾਂ ਸ਼ੋਭ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਸਨ
ਇੰਦ੍ਰਾਵਤੀਨਿਰਖਿਦੁਤਿਲਾਜੀ॥੧੨੩॥
(ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ) ਸਜਧਜ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਇੰਦਰਪੁਰੀ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਰਮਸਾਰ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਸੀ ॥੧੨੩॥
His banner of the extension of Dharma fluttered here and there and seeing his glory, the abode of Indra felt shy.123.
ਪਗਪਗਜਗਿਖੰਭਕਹੁਗਾਡਾ॥
ਕਦਮ ਕਦਮ ਉਤੇ ਯੱਗ ਦੇ ਥਮਲੇ ਗਡੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ।
ਘਰਿਘਰਿਅੰਨਸਾਲਕਰਿਛਾਡਾ॥
ਘਰ ਘਰ ਨੂੰ (ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ) ਅੰਨ ਦੇ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਬਣਾ ਛਡਿਆ ਸੀ।
He got planted the columns of Yajnas at short distances
ਭੂਖਾਨਾਗਜੁਆਵਤਕੋਈ॥
ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਭੁਖਾ ਨੰਗਾ (ਕਿਸੇ ਦੇ ਘਰ) ਆਉਂਦਾ,
ਤਤਛਿਨਇਛਪੁਰਾਵਤਸੋਈ॥੧੨੪॥
ਉਸੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਪੂਰੀ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ॥੧੨੪॥
And caused the granaries of corn to be built in every home, the hungry or naked, whosoever came, his desire was fulfilled Immediately.124.
ਜੋਜਿਹੰਮੁਖਮਾਗਾਤਿਹਪਾਵਾ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਜੋ ਮੂੰਹੋਂ ਮੰਗਿਆ, (ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਉਹੀ ਕੁਝ ਮਿਲ ਗਿਆ।
ਬਿਮੁਖਆਸਫਿਰਿਭਿਛਕਨਆਵਾ॥
ਕੋਈ ਭਿਖਾਰੀ ਵੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਪੂਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਬਿਨਾ ਫਿਰਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ (ਅਰਥਾਤ-ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਮੰਗਦਾ, ਉਹੀ ਕੁਝ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ)।
Whosoever asked for anything, he obtained it and no beggar returned without the fulfillment of his wish
ਧਾਮਿਧਾਮਿਧੁਜਾਧਰਮਬਧਾਈ॥
ਘਰ ਘਰ ਵਿਚ ਧਰਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਧੁਜਾਵਾਂ ਬੰਨ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਸਨ
ਧਰਮਾਵਤੀਨਿਰਖਿਮੁਰਛਾਈ॥੧੨੫॥
(ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੋਭਾ ਨੂੰ) ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਧਰਮ-ਪੁਰੀ ਵੀ ਮੂਰਛਿਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਸੀ ॥੧੨੫॥
The banner of Dharma flew on every home and seeing this the abode of Dharamraja also became unconscious.125.
ਮੂਰਖਕੋਊਰਹੈਨਹਿਪਾਵਾ॥
(ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿਚ) ਕੋਈ ਮੂਰਖ ਰਹਿਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
ਬਾਰਬੂਢਸਭਸੋਧਿਪਢਾਵਾ॥
ਬਾਲਕ ਅਤੇ ਬੁਢਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲਭ ਲਭ ਕੇ ਪੜ੍ਹਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
No one remained ignorant and all children and old people studied intelligently
ਘਰਿਘਰਿਹੋਤਭਈਹਰਿਸੇਵਾ॥
ਘਰ ਘਰ ਵਿਚ ਹਰਿ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਹੋਣ ਲਗੀ ਸੀ,
ਜਹਤਹਮਾਨਿਸਬੈਗੁਰਦੇਵਾ॥੧੨੬॥
ਜਿਥੇ ਕਿਥੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਗੁਰਦੇਵ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ) ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨਣ ਲਗ ਗਏ ਸਨ ॥੧੨੬॥
There was the worship of the Lord in every home and the Lord was abored nad honoured everywhere.126.
ਇਹਬਿਧਿਰਾਜਦਿਲੀਪਬਡੋਕਰਿ॥
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਲੀਪ ਨੇ ਬੜਾ ਮਹਾਨ ਰਾਜ ਕੀਤਾ
ਮਹਾਰਥੀਅਰੁਮਹਾਧਨੁਰਧਰ॥
(ਜੋ) ਮਹਾਨ ਰਥੀ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਧਨੁਸ਼ਧਾਰੀ ਸੀ।
Such was the rule of king Dileep, who himself was great warrior and a great archer
ਕੋਕਸਾਸਤ੍ਰਸਿਮ੍ਰਿਤਿਸੁਰਗਿਆਨਾ॥
