ਸੋਰਠਿਮਹਲਾ੫॥
Sorat'h, Fifth Mahalaa:
ਦੁਰਤੁਗਵਾਇਆਹਰਿਪ੍ਰਭਿਆਪੇਸਭੁਸੰਸਾਰੁਉਬਾਰਿਆ॥
(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਨੂੰ (ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ) ਬਚਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ। ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ (ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਪਿਛਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ) ਪਾਪ (ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ) ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ,
The Lord God Himself has rid the whole world of its sins, and saved it.
ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮਿਪ੍ਰਭਿਕਿਰਪਾਧਾਰੀਅਪਣਾਬਿਰਦੁਸਮਾਰਿਆ॥੧॥
ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਮੇਹਰ (ਦੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ) ਕੀਤੀ। ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੁੱਢ-ਕਦੀਮਾਂ ਦਾ (ਦਇਆ-ਪਿਆਰ ਵਾਲਾ) ਸੁਭਾਉ ਸਦਾ ਚੇਤੇ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
The Supreme Lord God extended His mercy, and confirmed His innate nature. ||1||
ਹੋਈਰਾਜੇਰਾਮਕੀਰਖਵਾਲੀ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹ (ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਵਲੋਂ) ਰਾਖੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ,
I have attained the Protective Sanctuary of the Lord, my King.
ਸੂਖਸਹਜਆਨਦਗੁਣਗਾਵਹੁਮਨੁਤਨੁਦੇਹਸੁਖਾਲੀ॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਉਸ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਸੁਖੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦਾ ਸਰੀਰ ਸੁਖੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। (ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਤੁਸੀਂ ਭੀ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਇਆ ਕਰੋ, (ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਭੀ) ਸੁਖ ਮਿਲਣਗੇ, ਆਤਮਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਦੇ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਿਲਣਗੇ। ਰਹਾਉ॥
In celestial peace and ecstasy, I sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, and my mind, body and being are at peace. ||Pause||
ਪਤਿਤਉਧਾਰਣੁਸਤਿਗੁਰੁਮੇਰਾਮੋਹਿਤਿਸਕਾਭਰਵਾਸਾ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਮੇਰਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਵਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ (ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ) ਬਚਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਭੀ ਉਸ ਦਾ (ਹੀ) ਸਹਾਰਾ ਹੈ।
My True Guru is the Savior of sinners; I have placed my trust and faith in Him.
ਬਖਸਿਲਏਸਭਿਸਚੈਸਾਹਿਬਿਸੁਣਿਨਾਨਕਕੀਅਰਦਾਸਾ॥੨॥੧੭॥੪੫॥
ਜਿਸ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵ (ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਪਾ ਕੇ) ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ ਲਏ ਹਨ (ਜੇਹੜਾ ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਵਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਦਾ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ), ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੀ ਅਰਜ਼ੋਈ ਭੀ ਸੁਣਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥੧੭॥੪੫॥
The True Lord has heard Nanak's prayer, and He has forgiven everything. ||2||17||45||

ਬਖਸਿਆਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮਪਰਮੇਸਰਿਸਗਲੇਰੋਗਬਿਦਾਰੇ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਪਰਮੇਸਰ ਨੇ (ਜਿਸ ਸੇਵਕ ਉੱਤੇ) ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਰੋਗ ਉਸਨੇ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ।
The Supreme Lord God, the Transcendent Lord, has forgiven me, and all diseases have been cured.
ਗੁਰਪੂਰੇਕੀਸਰਣੀਉਬਰੇਕਾਰਜਸਗਲਸਵਾਰੇ॥੧॥
ਜੇਹੜੇ ਭੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਦੁੱਖਾਂ-ਕਲੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਗੁਰੂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੰਮ ਸਵਾਰ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
Those who come to the Sanctuary of the True Guru are saved, and all their affairs are resolved. ||1||
ਹਰਿਜਨਿਸਿਮਰਿਆਨਾਮਅਧਾਰਿ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਜਿਸ ਸੇਵਕ ਨੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਿਆ, ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਆਸਰੇ ਵਿਚ (ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਤੋਰਿਆ),
The Lord's humble servant meditates in remembrance on the Naam, the Name of the Lord; this is his only support.
ਤਾਪੁਉਤਾਰਿਆਸਤਿਗੁਰਿਪੂਰੈਅਪਣੀਕਿਰਪਾਧਾਰਿ॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ (ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਤਾਪ ਲਾਹ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਰਹਾਉ॥
The Perfect True Guru extended His Mercy, and the fever has been dispelled. ||Pause||
ਸਦਾਅਨੰਦਕਰਹਮੇਰੇਪਿਆਰੇਹਰਿਗੋਵਿਦੁਗੁਰਿਰਾਖਿਆ॥
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ (ਭਾਈ)! (ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਪੈ ਕੇ) ਅਸੀਂ (ਭੀ) ਸਦਾ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਾਣਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਹਰਿ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ (ਹੀ ਤਾਪ ਤੋਂ) ਬਚਾਇਆ ਹੈ।
So celebrate and be happy, my beloveds - the Guru has saved Hargobind.
ਵਡੀਵਡਿਆਈਨਾਨਕਕਰਤੇਕੀਸਾਚੁਸਬਦੁਸਤਿਭਾਖਿਆ॥੨॥੧੮॥੪੬॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਵੱਡੀਆਂ ਤਾਕਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ (ਹੀ) ਉਚਾਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। (ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਇਹ) ਸਹੀ ਬਚਨ ਉਚਾਰਿਆ ਹੈ (ਠੀਕ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ) ॥੨॥੧੮॥੪੬॥
Great is the glorious greatness of the Creator, O Nanak; True is the Word of His Shabad, and True is the sermon of His Teachings. ||2||18||46||
ਸੋਰਠਿਮਹਲਾ੫॥

ਭਏਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲਸੁਆਮੀਮੇਰੇਤਿਤੁਸਾਚੈਦਰਬਾਰਿ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉੱਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਾਲਕ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੀ ਦਇਆਵਾਨ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਸ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਵਿਚ (ਉਸ ਦੀ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸੁਰਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਜੁੜਨ ਲੱਗ ਪੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
My Lord and Master has become Merciful, in His True Court.
ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿਤਾਪੁਗਵਾਇਆਭਾਈਠਾਂਢਿਪਈਸੰਸਾਰਿ॥
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਜਦੋਂ) ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ (ਉਸ ਦਾ ਦੁੱਖਾਂ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦਾ) ਤਾਪ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ (ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ) ਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਵਰਤ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ (ਜਗਤ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਦੁੱਖ ਪਾਪ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪੋਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ)।
The True Guru has taken away the fever, and the whole world is at peace, O Siblings of Destiny.
ਅਪਣੇਜੀਅਜੰਤਆਪੇਰਾਖੇਜਮਹਿਕੀਓਹਟਤਾਰਿ॥੧॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਦੀ (ਦੁੱਖਾਂ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਵਲੋਂ) ਰਾਖੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਆਤਮਕ ਮੌਤ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੋਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦੀ (ਜਮ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਪਾਣ ਦਾ ਜਤਨ ਛੱਡ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ) ॥੧॥
The Lord Himself protects His beings and creatures, and the Messenger of Death is out of work. ||1||
ਹਰਿਕੇਚਰਣਰਿਦੈਉਰਿਧਾਰਿ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਚਰਨ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕਾਈ ਰੱਖ।
Enshrine the Lord's feet within your heart.
ਸਦਾਸਦਾਪ੍ਰਭੁਸਿਮਰੀਐਭਾਈਦੁਖਕਿਲਬਿਖਕਾਟਣਹਾਰੁ॥੧॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਸਿਮਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਹੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੁੱਖਾਂ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Forever and ever, meditate in remembrance on God, O Siblings of Destiny. He is the Eradicator of suffering and sins. ||1||Pause||
ਤਿਸਕੀਸਰਣੀਊਬਰੈਭਾਈਜਿਨਿਰਚਿਆਸਭੁਕੋਇ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜਿਸ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਜੀਵ ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ (ਜੇਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ) ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ (ਦੁੱਖਾਂ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਤੋਂ) ਬਚ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
He fashioned all beings, O Siblings of Destiny, and His Sanctuary saves them.
ਕਰਣਕਾਰਣਸਮਰਥੁਸੋਭਾਈਸਚੈਸਚੀਸੋਇ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਉਹ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਦਾ ਮੂਲ ਹੈ, ਸਭ ਤਾਕਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਸੋਭਾ ਭੀ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਹੈ।
He is the Almighty Creator, the Cause of causes, O Siblings of Destiny; He, the True Lord, is True.
ਨਾਨਕਪ੍ਰਭੂਧਿਆਈਐਭਾਈਮਨੁਤਨੁਸੀਤਲੁਹੋਇ॥੨॥੧੯॥੪੭॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ-) ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, (ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਮਨ ਸ਼ਾਂਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਨ ਸ਼ਾਂਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥੧੯॥੪੭॥
Nanak: meditate on God, O Siblings of Destiny, and your mind and body shall be cool and calm. ||2||19||47||
ਸੋਰਠਿਮਹਲਾ੫॥

ਸੰਤਹੁਹਰਿਹਰਿਨਾਮੁਧਿਆਈ॥
ਹੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨੋ! (ਅਰਦਾਸ ਕਰੋ ਕਿ) ਮੈਂ ਸਦਾ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਦਾ ਰਹਾਂ।
O Saints, meditate on the Name of the Lord, Har, Har.
ਸੁਖਸਾਗਰਪ੍ਰਭੁਵਿਸਰਉਨਾਹੀਮਨਚਿੰਦਿਅੜਾਫਲੁਪਾਈ॥੧॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਸੁਖਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕਦੇ ਨਾਹ ਭੁੱਲੇ, ਮੈਂ (ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦਰ ਤੋਂ) ਮਨ-ਇੱਛਤ ਫਲ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਹਾਂ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Never forget God, the ocean of peace; thus you shall obtain the fruits of your mind's desires. ||1||Pause||
ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿਪੂਰੈਤਾਪੁਗਵਾਇਆਅਪਣੀਕਿਰਪਾਧਾਰੀ॥
ਹੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨੋ! ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ (ਬਾਲਕ ਹਰਿ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਦਾ) ਤਾਪ ਲਾਹ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।
Extending His Mercy, the Perfect True Guru has dispelled the fever.
ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮਪ੍ਰਭਭਏਦਇਆਲਾਦੁਖੁਮਿਟਿਆਸਭਪਰਵਾਰੀ॥੧॥
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਇਆਵਾਨ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਸਾਰੇ ਪਰਵਾਰ ਦਾ ਦੁੱਖ ਮਿਟ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
The Supreme Lord God has become kind and compassionate, and my whole family is now free of pain and suffering. ||1||
ਸਰਬਨਿਧਾਨਮੰਗਲਰਸਰੂਪਾਹਰਿਕਾਨਾਮੁਅਧਾਰੋ॥
ਹੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨੋ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੀ (ਸਾਡਾ) ਆਸਰਾ ਹੈ, ਨਾਮ ਹੀ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਰਸਾਂ ਰੂਪਾਂ ਦਾ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਹੈ।
The Treasure of absolute joy, sublime elixir and beauty, the Name of the Lord is my only Support.
ਨਾਨਕਪਤਿਰਾਖੀਪਰਮੇਸਰਿਉਧਰਿਆਸਭੁਸੰਸਾਰੋ॥੨॥੨੦॥੪੮॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ-) ਪਰਮੇਸਰ ਨੇ (ਸਾਡੀ) ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਰੱਖ ਲਈ ਹੈ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ਰ ਹੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥੨੦॥੪੮॥
O Nanak, the Transcendent Lord has preserved my honor, and saved the whole world. ||2||20||48||

ਮੇਰਾਸਤਿਗੁਰੁਰਖਵਾਲਾਹੋਆ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਮੇਰਾ ਗੁਰੂ (ਮੇਰਾ) ਸਹਾਈ ਬਣਿਆ ਹੈ,
My True Guru is my Savior and Protector.
ਧਾਰਿਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਪ੍ਰਭਹਾਥਦੇਰਾਖਿਆਹਰਿਗੋਵਿਦੁਨਵਾਨਿਰੋਆ॥੧॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
(ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ (ਆਪਣੇ) ਹੱਥ ਦੇ ਕੇ (ਬਾਲਕ ਹਰਿ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਨੂੰ) ਬਚਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ, (ਹੁਣ ਬਾਲਕ) ਹਰਿ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਰਾਜ਼ੀ-ਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Showering us with His Mercy and Grace, God extended His Hand, and saved Hargobind, who is now safe and secure. ||1||Pause||
ਤਾਪੁਗਇਆਪ੍ਰਭਿਆਪਿਮਿਟਾਇਆਜਨਕੀਲਾਜਰਖਾਈ॥
(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਬਾਲਕ ਹਰਿ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਦਾ) ਤਾਪ ਲਹਿ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਆਪ ਉਤਾਰਿਆ ਹੈ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਦੀ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਰੱਖ ਲਈ ਹੈ।
The fever is gone - God Himself eradicated it, and preserved the honor of His servant.
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿਤੇਸਭਫਲਪਾਏਸਤਿਗੁਰਕੈਬਲਿਜਾਂਈ॥੧॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਤੋਂ (ਮੈਂ) ਸਾਰੇ ਫਲ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ, ਮੈਂ (ਸਦਾ) ਗੁਰੂ ਤੋਂ (ਹੀ) ਕੁਰਬਾਨ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ ॥੧॥
I have obtained all blessings from the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy; I am a sacrifice to the True Guru. ||1||
ਹਲਤੁਪਲਤੁਪ੍ਰਭਦੋਵੈਸਵਾਰੇਹਮਰਾਗੁਣੁਅਵਗਣੁਨਬੀਚਾਰਿਆ॥
(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ ਜੇਹੜਾ ਭੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਪੱਲਾ ਫੜੀ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਤੇ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਸਵਾਰ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਸਾਂ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਗੁਣ ਜਾਂ ਔਗੁਣ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਚਿੱਤ ਵਿਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖਦਾ।
God has saved me, both here and hereafter. He has not taken my merits and demerits into account.
