ਏਕਤੇਜਕੋਊਹਮਪੈਆਯੋ॥੨੨੮੧॥
ਕਿ (ਕੋਈ) ਇਕ ਤੇਜ ਮੇਰੇ ਉਤੇ (ਚੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ) ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ॥੨੨੮੧॥
On the other side, Krishna came to know that some glorious entity was coming against him.2281.
ਜੋਇਹਕੇਫੁਨਿਅਗ੍ਰਜਆਵੈ॥
ਫਿਰ ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਵੇਗਾ,
ਸੋਸਭਭਸਮਹੋਤਹੀਜਾਵੈ॥
ਉਹ ਸਭ ਭਸਮ ਹੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
Whatsoever will confront it, will be reduced to ashes
ਜੋਇਹਸੰਗਿਮਾਡਿਰਨਲਰੈ॥
ਜੋ ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰੇਗਾ,
ਸੋਜਮਲੋਕਿਪਯਾਨੋਕਰੈ॥੨੨੮੨॥
ਉਹ ਯਮਲੋਕ ਵਲ ਚਾਲੇ ਪਾਵੇਗਾ ॥੨੨੮੨॥
Whosoever will fight against it, he will go to the abode of Yama.2282.

ਜੋਉਹਿਕੇਮੁਖਆਇਗਯੋਪ੍ਰਭਸੋਉਨਹੂਛਿਨਮਾਹਿਜਰਾਯੋ॥
ਜੋ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆ ਗਿਆ, ਹੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ! ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਛਿਣ ਭਰ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਸਾੜ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ।
ਯੌਸੁਨਿਬਾਤਚੜਿਯੋਰਥਪੈਹਰਿਤਾਹੀਕੇਸਾਮੁਹੇਚਕ੍ਰਚਲਾਯੋ॥
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਰਥ ਉਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਚੱਕਰ ਚਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
“He, who comes before it, is burnt down in an instant.” Hearing these words, Krishna mounted on his chariot and discharged his discus towards it
ਚਕ੍ਰਸੁਦਰਸਨਕੇਤਿਨਅਗ੍ਰਨਤਾਹੀਕੋਪਉਰਖਨੈਕੁਬਸਾਯੋ॥
ਸੁਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਚੱਕਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਦਾ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਕੋਈ ਵਸ ਨਾ ਚਲਿਆ।

ਅੰਤਖਿਸਾਇਚਲੀਫਿਰਕੈਕਬਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਕਹੈਸੋਊਭੂਪਤਿਆਯੋ॥੨੨੮੩॥
ਕਵੀ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅੰਤ ਖਿਝ ਕੇ ਪਰਤ ਚਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ (ਜਾ ਕੇ) ਮਾਰ ਸੁਟਿਆ ॥੨੨੮੩॥
Getting extremely angry, it went back and it destroyed the king Sudaksha.2283.

He, who has not remembered Krishna
ਅਉਰਕਹਾਭਯੋਜਉਗੁਨਕਾਹੂਕੇਗਾਵਤਹੈਗੁਨਸ੍ਯਾਮਨਗਾਯੋ॥
ਅਤੇ ਕੀ ਹੋਇਆ, ਜੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਏ ਹਨ, (ਪਰ) ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਗਏ;
What then if he had been singing the praises of others and never eulogised Krishna’
ਅਉਰਕਹਾਭਯੋਜਉਜਗਦੀਸਬਿਨਾਸੁਗਨੇਸਮਹੇਸਮਨਾਯੋ॥
ਅਤੇ ਕੀ ਹੋਇਆ, ਜੇ ਜਗਦੀਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਗਣੇਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਮਹੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਮਨਾ ਲਿਆ;
He had been adoring Shiva and Ganesha
ਲੋਕਪ੍ਰਲੋਕਕਹੈਕਬਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਸਦਾਤਿਹਆਪਨੋਜਨਮਗਵਾਯੋ॥੨੨੮੪॥
ਕਵੀ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਲੋਕ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਆਪਣਾ ਜਨਮ ਗੰਵਾ ਲਿਆ ॥੨੨੮੪॥
According to the poet Shyam, he has wasted his precious birth in vain, withoutgetting any merit for this and the nest world.2284.

(ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ) ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਜਿਤ ਕੇ ਛਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜੋ ਰਣ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਕਦੇ ਟਲੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਨ।
After conquering the kings, unavoidable in fighting, they were released
ਦਈਕਾਟਿਸਹਸ੍ਰਭੁਜਾਤਿਹਕੀਜਿਹਤੇਫੁਨਿਚਉਦਹਲੋਕਡਰੈ॥
ਫਿਰ ਉਸ (ਰਾਜੇ) ਦੀਆਂ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਭੁਜਾਵਾਂ ਕਟ ਸੁਟੀਆਂ, ਜਿਸ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਚੌਦਾਂ ਲੋਕ ਡਰਦੇ ਸਨ।
He, from whom all the fourteen worlds felt frightened, his one thousand arms were chopped
ਕਰਿਕੰਚਨਧਾਮਦਏਤਿਹਕੋਦਿਜਮਾਗਸਦਾਜੋਊਪੇਟਭਰੈ॥
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਸੋਨੇ ਦੇ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜੋ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਸਦਾ ਮੰਗ ਕੇ ਢਿਡ ਭਰਦੇ ਸਨ।
The Brahmin (Sudama), who made his both ends meet by seeking the help of others,
ਫੁਨਿਰਾਖਕੈਲਾਜਲਈਦ੍ਰੁਪਦੀਬ੍ਰਿਜਨਾਥਬਿਨਾਐਸੀਕਉਨਕਰੈ॥੨੨੮੫॥
ਫਿਰ ਦ੍ਰੋਪਦੀ ਦੀ ਲਾਜ ਰਖ ਲਈ। ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਅਜਿਹੀ (ਗੱਲ) ਕੌਣ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨੨੮੫॥
He was given the houses of gold and then the honour of Daraupadi was saved, who else can do all this except Krishna?2285.

ਹੁਣ ਕਪਿ (ਬੰਦਰ) ਦੇ ਬਧ ਦਾ ਕਥਨ

ਅਤੇ (ਆਪਣੀ) ਇਸਤਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਗ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋਏ।
Balram went to the city named Rewat happily alongwith his wife
ਸਭਨਤਹਾਮਿਲਿਮਦਰਾਪੀਯੋ॥
ਉਥੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਪੀਤੀ
ਗਾਵਤਭਯੋਉਮਗਕੈਹੀਯੋ॥੨੨੮੬॥
ਅਤੇ ਦਿਲ ਵਿਚ ਚਾਉ ਭਰ ਕੇ ਗਾਉਣ ਲਗ ਪਏ ॥੨੨੮੬॥
There he drank wine alongwith others and getting pleased, danced and sang.2286.
ਇਕਕਪਿਹੁਤੇਤਹਾਸੋਆਯੋ॥
ਉਥੇ ਇਕ ਬੰਦਰ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ, ਉਹ ਵੀ ਆ ਗਿਆ।
ਮਦਰਾਸਕਲਫੋਰਿਘਟਗ੍ਵਾਯੋ॥
(ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਦਾ ਘੜਾ ਭੰਨ ਕੇ ਸਾਰੀ (ਸ਼ਰਾਬ) ਜ਼ਾਇਆ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
A monkey came there, who smashed the pitchers full of wine
ਫਾਧਤਭਯੋਰਤੀਕੁਨਡਰਿਯੋ॥
(ਉਹ) ਟਪੂਸੀਆਂ ਮਾਰਨ ਲਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਤੋਂ ਜ਼ਰਾ ਜਿੰਨਾ ਵੀ ਨਾ ਡਰਿਆ।
ਮੁਸਲੀਧਰਿਅਤਿਕ੍ਰੋਧਹਿਭਰਿਯੋ॥੨੨੮੭॥
ਬਲਰਾਮ (ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਵਹਾਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ) ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਭਰ ਗਿਆ ॥੨੨੮੭॥
He jumped here and there fearlessly and this enraged Balram.2287.

ਅਤੇ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਬੰਦਰ ਨਚਦਾ ਫਿਰਦਾ ਸੀ, (ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਛਿਣ ਭਰ ਵਿਚ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ॥੨੨੮੮॥
Balram got up, holding his arms and killed the jumping moneky in an instant.2288.

ਭੂਪਜਿਤੇਭੂਅਮੰਡਲਕੇਤਿਨਕਉਤੁਕਹੇਰਬੇਕਾਜਬੁਲਾਯੋ॥
ਜਿਤਨੇ ਵੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਸਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ (ਵਿਆਹ ਦਾ) ਕੌਤਕ ਵਿਖਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਬੁਲਾ ਲਿਆ।

This news reached Dwarka that the son of Dhritrashtra has decided to marry the king’s daughter

ਜਾਂਬਵਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦਾ ਇਕ ਬਾਲਕ 'ਸਾਂਬ' ਸੀ, ਉਹ ਵੀ ਚਲ ਕੇ (ਉਥੇ ਆ ਗਿਆ) ॥੨੨੮੯॥
A son of Krishna named Samb went there form the abode of his mother Jambwati.2289.
ਗਹਿਕੈਬਹੀਯਾਪੁਨਿਭੂਪਸੁਤਾਹੂਕੀਸ੍ਯੰਦਨਭੀਤਰਡਾਰਿਸਿਧਾਰਿਯੋ॥
ਫਿਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੀ ਪੁੱਤਰੀ ਦੀ ਬਾਂਹ ਪਕੜ ਕੇ ਰਥ ਉਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਾ ਲਿਆ।
Samb caught hold of the arm of the king’s daughter and put her in his chariot
ਜੋਭਟਤਾਹਿਸਹਾਇਕੇਕਾਜਲਰਿਯੋਸੋਊਏਕਹੀਬਾਨਸੋਮਾਰਿਯੋ॥
ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਸ਼ੂਰਵੀਰ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮੱਦਦ ਲਈ ਲੜਿਆ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਕ ਹੀ ਬਾਣ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
He killed with a single arrow the warriors, who were there for her support
ਧਾਇਪਰੇਛਿਰਥੀਮਿਲਿਕੈਸੁਘਨੋਦਲੁਲੈਜਬਭੂਪਪਚਾਰਿਯੋ॥
ਜਦ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਵੰਗਾਰਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਰਥ-ਦਲ ਵਾਲੇ ਛੇ ਸ਼ੂਰਵੀਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਧਾ ਕੇ ਪੈ ਗਏ।
ਜੁਧੁਭਯੋਤਿਹਠਉਰਘਨੋਸੋਊਯੌਮੁਖਤੇਕਬਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਉਚਾਰਿਯੋ॥੨੨੯੦॥
ਕਵੀ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਯੁੱਧ ਹੋਇਆ ॥੨੨੯੦॥
When the king challenged, then six chariot-riders together fell upon him and there a dreadful war ensued.2290.
ਪਾਰਥਭੀਖਮਦ੍ਰੋਣਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਰੁਕ੍ਰਿਪੀਸੁਤਕੋਪਭਰਿਯੋਮਨਮੈ॥
ਅਰਜਨ, ਭੀਸ਼ਮ, ਦ੍ਰੋਣਾਚਾਰੀਆ, ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਚਾਰੀਆ ਅਤੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਪੀ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ (ਅਸ਼੍ਵਸਥਾਮਾ) ਨੇ (ਆਪਣੇ) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਭਰ ਲਿਆ।
Arjuna, Bhisma, Drona, Kripacharya etc. were filled with anger
ਅਰੁਅਉਰਸੁਕਰਨਚਲਿਯੋਰਿਸਸੋਅਕਰੋਧਰੁਕਉਚਤਬੈਤਨਮੈ॥
ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ 'ਕਰਨ' (ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ) ਚਲਿਆ ਜੋ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਰੋਸ ਦਾ ਰੂਪ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਉਤੇ ਕਵਚ (ਧਾਰਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ)।
