ਤਿਨਕੇਪੁਤ੍ਰਪੌਤ੍ਰਜੇਵਏ॥
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਜੋ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਪੋਤਰੇ ਹੋਏ,
ਰਾਜਕਰਤਇਹਜਗਕੋਭਏ॥੨੫॥
ਉਹ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹੇ ॥੨੫॥
After them their sons and grandson ruled over the world.25.
ਕਹਾਲਗੇਤੇਬਰਨਸੁਨਾਊਂ॥
ਕਿਥੋਂ ਤਕ (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਾਲ ਦਾ) ਵਰਣਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਸੁਣਾਵਾਂ,
ਤਿਨਕੇਨਾਮਨਸੰਖਿਆਪਾਊਂ॥
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਂਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ।
They were innumerable, therefore it is difficult to describe all.
ਹੋਤਚਹੂੰਜੁਗਮੈਜੇਆਏ॥
ਚੌਹਾਂ ਯੁਗਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਜੋ (ਰਾਜੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ) ਆਏ,
ਤਿਨਕੇਨਾਮਨਜਾਤਗਨਾਏ॥੨੬॥
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਗਿਣਾਏ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੇ ॥੨੬॥
It is not possible to count the names of all those who ruled over their kingdoms in all the four ages.26.
ਜੇਅਬਤਵਕਿਰਪਾਬਲਪਾਊਂ॥
ਜੇ ਹੁਣ ਤੇਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਬਲ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਾਂ
ਨਾਮਜਥਾਮਤਿਭਾਖਿਸੁਨਾਊਂ॥
(ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ) ਨਾਂ ਯਥਾ-ਬੁੱਧੀ ਆਖ ਸੁਣਾਵਾਂ।
If now you shower your grace upon me, I shall describe (a few) names, as I know them.
ਕਾਲਕੇਤਅਰੁਕਾਲਰਾਇਭਨਿ॥
ਕਾਲ ਕੇਤੁ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲ ਰਾਇ (ਦੇ ਨਾਂ) ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ
ਜਿਨਕੇਭਏਪੁਤ੍ਰਘਰਿਅਨਗਨ॥੨੭॥
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਅਣਗਿਣਤ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਏ ॥੨੭॥
Kalket and Kal Rai had innumerable descendants.27.
ਕਾਲਕੇਤਭਯੋਬਲੀਅਪਾਰਾ॥
ਕਾਲ ਕੇਤੁ ਬਹੁਤ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਹੋਇਆ
ਕਾਲਰਾਇਜਿਨਿਨਗਰਨਿਕਾਰਾ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਕਾਲ ਰਾਇ ਨੂੰ ਨਗਰ ਤੋਂ ਕਢ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
Kalket was a mighty warrior, who drove out Kal Rai from his city.
ਭਾਜਿਸਨੌਢਦੇਸਿਤੇਗਏ॥
ਉਥੋਂ ਉਹ ਭਜ ਕੇ ਸਨੌਢ ਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਚਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ
ਤਹੀਭੂਪਜਾਬਿਆਹਤਭਏ॥੨੮॥
ਅਤੇ ਉਥੋਂ ਦੀ ਰਾਜ-ਕੁਮਾਰੀ ਨਾਲ (ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਵਿਆਹ ਹੋਇਆ ॥੨੮॥
Kal Rai settled in the country named Sanaudh and married the king’s daughter.28.
ਤਿਹਤੇਪੁਤ੍ਰਭਯੋਜੋਧਾਮਾ॥
ਉਸ (ਰਾਜ ਕੁਮਾਰੀ) ਤੋਂ ਘਰ ਵਿਚ ਜੋ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ,
ਸੋਢੀਰਾਇਧਰਾਤਿਹਿਨਾਮਾ॥
ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਸੋਢੀ ਰਾਇ ਰਖਿਆ।
A son was born to him, who was named Sodhi Rai.
ਬੰਸਸਨੌਢਤਦਿਨਤੇਥੀਆ॥
ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਤੋਂ ਸਨੌਢ ਬੰਸ ਚਲਿਆ
ਪਰਮਪਵਿਤ੍ਰਪੁਰਖਜੂਕੀਆ॥੨੯॥
(ਜੋ) ਪਰਮ ਪਵਿਤਰ ਪੁਰਸ਼ (ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ) ਨੇ ਸਾਜਿਆ ਸੀ ॥੨੯॥
Sodhi Rai was the founder of Sanaudh dynasty by the Will of the Supreme Purusha.29.
ਤਾਤੇਪੁਤ੍ਰਪੌਤ੍ਰਹੁਇਆਇ॥
ਉਸ (ਸੋਢੀ ਰਾਇ) ਤੋਂ ਜੋ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਪੋਤਰੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਆਏ,
ਤੇਸੋਢੀਸਭਜਗਤਿਕਹਾਏ॥
ਉਹ (ਸਭ) ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਸੋਢੀ ਅਖਵਾਏ।
His sons and grandsons were called sodhis.
ਜਗਮੈਅਧਿਕਸੁਭਏਪ੍ਰਸਿਧਾ॥
ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਹੋ ਗਏ
ਦਿਨਦਿਨਤਿਨਕੇਧਨਕੀਬ੍ਰਿਧਾ॥੩੦॥
ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰ (ਦਿਨੋ ਦਿਨ) ਧਨ ਦਾ ਵਾਧਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ॥੩੦॥
They became very famous in the world and gradually prospered in wealth.30.
ਰਾਜਕਰਤਭਏਬਿਬਿਧਪ੍ਰਕਾਰਾ॥
(ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ) ਅਨੇਕ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਰਾਜ ਕੀਤਾ
ਦੇਸਦੇਸਕੇਜੀਤਨ੍ਰਿਪਾਰਾ॥
ਅਤੇ ਦੇਸ਼-ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂਤਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਜਿੱਤ ਲਏ।
They ruled over the country in various ways and subdued kings of many countries.
ਜਹਾਤਹਾਤਿਹਧਰਮਚਲਾਯੋ॥
ਜਿਥੇ ਕਿਥੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਧਰਮ ਦਾ ਵਿਸਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ
ਅਤ੍ਰਪਤ੍ਰਕਹਸੀਸਿਢੁਰਾਯੋ॥੩੧॥
ਅਤੇ ਸਿਰ ਉਤੇ ਛਤ੍ਰ ਝੁਲਵਾਇਆ ॥੩੧॥
They extended their Dharma everywhere and had the royal canopy over their head.31.
ਰਾਜਸੂਅਬਹੁਬਾਰਨਕੀਏ॥
(ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ) ਬਹੁਤ ਵਾਰ ਰਾਜਸੂਯ ਯੱਗ ਕੀਤੇ
ਜੀਤਿਜੀਤਿਦੇਸੇਸ੍ਵਰਲੀਏ॥
ਅਤੇ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੁਆਮੀਆਂ (ਰਾਜਿਆਂ) ਨੂੰ ਜਿੱਤ ਲਿਆ।
They performed Rajasu sacrifice several times declaring themselves as supreme rulers, after conquering kings of various countries.
ਬਾਜਮੇਧਬਹੁਬਾਰਨਕਰੇ॥
(ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ) ਬਹੁਤ ਵਾਰ ਅਸ਼੍ਵਮੇਧ ਯੱਗ ਵੀ ਕੀਤੇ
ਸਕਲਕਲੂਖਨਿਜਕੁਲਕੇਹਰੇ॥੩੨॥
ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਕੁਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਾਪ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ॥੩੨॥
They performed Bajmedh-sacrifice (horse—sacrifice) several times, clearing their dynasty of all the blemishes.32.
ਬਹੁਤਬੰਸਮੈਬਢੋਬਿਖਾਧਾ॥
ਫਿਰ (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ) ਬੰਸ ਵਿਚ ਝਗੜਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਵਧ ਗਿਆ
ਮੇਟਨਸਕਾਕੋਊਤਿਹਸਾਧਾ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਭਲਾ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਮੇਟ ਨਾ ਸਕਿਆ।
After that there arose quarrels and differences within the dynasty, and none could set the things right.
ਬਿਚਰੇਬੀਰਬਨੈਤੁਅਖੰਡਲ॥
ਬਾਂਕੇ ਵੀਰ ਯੋਧਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਫਿਰਨ ਲਗੇ
ਗਹਿਗਹਿਚਲੇਭਿਰਨਰਨਮੰਡਲ॥੩੩॥
ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰ ਫੜ ਫੜ ਕੇ ਯੁੱਧ-ਭੂਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਰ ਪਏ ॥੩੩॥
The great warriors and archers moved towards the battlefield for a fight.33.
ਧਨਅਰੁਭੂਮਿਪੁਰਾਤਨਬੈਰਾ॥
ਧਨ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਦਾ ਪੁਰਾਣਾ ਵੈਰ ਹੈ
ਜਿਨਕਾਮੂਆਕਰਤਿਜਗਘੇਰਾ॥
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਘੇਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸਾਰਾ ਜਗਤ ਮਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
The world hath perished after quarrel on wealth and property from very olden times.
ਮੋਹਬਾਦਅਹੰਕਾਰਪਸਾਰਾ॥
ਮੋਹ ਅਤੇ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਹੀ (ਇਸ) ਝਗੜੇ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਰ (ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਹਨ)
ਕਾਮਕ੍ਰੋਧਜੀਤਾਜਗਸਾਰਾ॥੩੪॥
ਅਤੇ ਕਾਮ-ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨੇ ਸਾਰਾ ਜਗਤ ਜਿਤ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੩੪॥
The attachment, ego and infights spread widely and the world was conquered by lust and anger.34.

ਧਨ ਨੂੰ ਧੰਨ ਧੰਨ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ (ਸਾਰਾ) ਜਗਤ ਗੁਲਾਮ ਹੈ
The mammon may hailed, who hath the whole world as her slave.
ਸਭਨਿਰਖਤਯਾਕੋਫਿਰੈਸਭਚਲਕਰਤਸਲਾਮ॥੩੫॥
ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੇ ਝਾਕਦੇ ਫਿਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ (ਧਨਵਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਚਲ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਨਾਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੩੫॥
All the world goes in search for her and all go to salute her.35.

ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਵੈਰ, ਵਿਵਾਦ ਅਤੇ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
None could remember KAL and there was only extension of enmity, strife ego.
ਲੋਭਮੂਲਇਹਜਗਕੋਹੂਆ॥
ਲੋਭ ਇਸ ਜਗਤ ਦਾ ਮੂਲ (ਆਧਾਰ) ਬਣ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ
ਜਾਸੋਚਾਹਤਸਭੈਕੋਮੂਆ॥੩੬॥
ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਚਾਹਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਭ ਮਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ॥੩੬॥
Only greed become the base of the world, because of which everyone wants the other to die.36.
