ਪ੍ਰਭਕਿਰਪਾਤੇਹੋਇਪ੍ਰਗਾਸੁ॥
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਮੇਹਰ ਨਾਲ (ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਗਿਆਨ ਦਾ) ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ;
By God's Grace, enlightenment comes.
ਪ੍ਰਭੂਦਇਆਤੇਕਮਲਬਿਗਾਸੁ॥
ਉਸ ਦੀ ਦਇਆ ਨਾਲ ਹਿਰਦਾ-ਰੂਪ ਕਉਲ ਫੁੱਲ ਖਿੜਦਾ ਹੈ।
By God's Kind Mercy, the heart-lotus blossoms forth.
ਪ੍ਰਭੁਸੁਪ੍ਰਸੰਨਬਸੈਮਨਿਸੋਇ॥
ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ (ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਉਤੇ ਉਹ ਤ੍ਰੁੱਠਦਾ ਹੈ,
When God is totally pleased, He comes to dwell in the mind.
ਪ੍ਰਭਦਇਆਤੇਮਤਿਊਤਮਹੋਇ॥
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਮੇਹਰ ਨਾਲ (ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੀ) ਮੱਤ ਚੰਗੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ।
By God's Kind Mercy, the intellect is exalted.
ਸਰਬਨਿਧਾਨਪ੍ਰਭਤੇਰੀਮਇਆ॥
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੇਰੀ ਮੇਹਰ ਦੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਵਿਚ ਸਾਰੇ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨੇ ਹਨ,
All treasures, O Lord, come by Your Kind Mercy.
ਆਪਹੁਕਛੂਨਕਿਨਹੂਲਇਆ॥
ਆਪਣੇ ਜਤਨ ਨਾਲ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਭੀ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਭਾ (ਭਾਵ, ਜੀਵ ਦਾ ਉੱਦਮ ਤਦੋਂ ਹੀ ਸਫਲ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੂੰ ਸਵੱਲੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ)।
No one obtains anything by himself.
ਜਿਤੁਜਿਤੁਲਾਵਹੁਤਿਤੁਲਗਹਿਹਰਿਨਾਥ॥
ਹੇ ਹਰੀ! ਹੇ ਨਾਥ! ਜਿਧਰ ਤੂੰ ਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਉਧਰ ਇਹ ਜੀਵ ਲੱਗਦੇ ਹਨ।
As You have delegated, so do we apply ourselves, O Lord and Master.
ਨਾਨਕਇਨਕੈਕਛੂਨਹਾਥ॥੮॥੬॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਇਹਨਾਂ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਵੱਸ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ ॥੮॥੬॥
O Nanak, nothing is in our hands. ||8||6||

ਅਗਮਅਗਾਧਿਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁਸੋਇ॥
ਉਹ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ (ਜੀਵ ਦੀ) ਪਹੁੰਚ ਤੋਂ ਪਰੇ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਅਥਾਹ ਹੈ।
Unapproachable and Unfathomable is the Supreme Lord God;
ਜੋਜੋਕਹੈਸੁਮੁਕਤਾਹੋਇ॥
ਜੋ ਜੋ (ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਸਿਮਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ (ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਜਾਲ ਤੋਂ) ਖ਼ਲਾਸੀ ਪਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
whoever speaks of Him shall be liberated.
ਸੁਨਿਮੀਤਾਨਾਨਕੁਬਿਨਵੰਤਾ॥
ਹੇ ਮਿਤ੍ਰ! ਸੁਣ, ਨਾਨਕ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ:
Listen, O friends, Nanak prays,
ਸਾਧਜਨਾਕੀਅਚਰਜਕਥਾ॥੧॥
(ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ) ਗੁਰਮੁਖਾਂ (ਦੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ) ਦਾ ਜ਼ਿਕਰ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ (ਭਾਵ, ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਭਗਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਇਤਨੇ ਗੁਣ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਛੇੜਿਆਂ ਅਚਰਜ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਈਦਾ ਹੈ) ॥੧॥

ਸਾਧਕੈਸੰਗਿਮੁਖਊਜਲਹੋਤ॥
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਰਿਹਾਂ ਮੂੰਹ ਉਜਲੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ (ਭਾਵ, ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਬਣ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ)
In the Company of the Holy, one's face becomes radiant.
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿਮਲੁਸਗਲੀਖੋਤ॥
(ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) ਸਾਧੂ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਾਸ ਰਿਹਾਂ (ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ) ਸਾਰੀ ਮੈਲ ਮਿਟ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
In the Company of the Holy, all filth is removed.
ਸਾਧਕੈਸੰਗਿਮਿਟੈਅਭਿਮਾਨੁ॥
ਸਾਧੂਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਅਹੰਕਾਰ ਦੂਰ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ,
In the Company of the Holy, egotism is eliminated.
ਸਾਧਕੈਸੰਗਿਪ੍ਰਗਟੈਸੁਗਿਆਨੁ॥
ਅਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਟ ਗਿਆਨ ਪਰਗਟ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ (ਭਾਵ, ਚੰਗੀ ਮਤਿ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ)।
In the Company of the Holy, spiritual wisdom is revealed.
ਸਾਧਕੈਸੰਗਿਬੁਝੈਪ੍ਰਭੁਨੇਰਾ॥
ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਅੰਗ-ਸੰਗ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਜਾਪਦਾ ਹੈ,
In the Company of the Holy, God is understood to be near at hand.
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿਸਭੁਹੋਤਨਿਬੇਰਾ॥
(ਇਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਮੰਦੇ ਸੰਸਕਾਰਾਂ ਜਾਂ ਵਾਸਨਾ ਦਾ) ਸਾਰਾ ਨਿਬੇੜਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ (ਭਾਵ, ਮੰਦੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਜੀਵ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ)।
In the Company of the Holy, all conflicts are settled.
ਸਾਧਕੈਸੰਗਿਪਾਏਨਾਮੁਰਤਨੁ॥
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨਾਮ-ਰੂਪ ਰਤਨ ਲੱਭ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
In the Company of the Holy, one obtains the jewel of the Naam.
ਸਾਧਕੈਸੰਗਿਏਕਊਪਰਿਜਤਨੁ॥
ਤੇ, ਇੱਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਦਾ ਜਤਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
In the Company of the Holy, one's efforts are directed toward the One Lord.
ਸਾਧਕੀਮਹਿਮਾਬਰਨੈਕਉਨੁਪ੍ਰਾਨੀ॥
ਸਾਧੂਆਂ ਦੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਕਿਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਬਿਆਨ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ?
What mortal can speak of the Glorious Praises of the Holy?
ਨਾਨਕਸਾਧਕੀਸੋਭਾਪ੍ਰਭਮਾਹਿਸਮਾਨੀ॥੧॥
(ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਸਾਧ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੋਭਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਸੋਭਾ ਦੇ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
O Nanak, the glory of the Holy people merges into God. ||1||
ਸਾਧਕੈਸੰਗਿਅਗੋਚਰੁਮਿਲੈ॥
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ (ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ) ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮਿਲ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸਰੀਰਕ ਇੰਦ੍ਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਤੋਂ ਪਰੇ ਹੈ;
In the Company of the Holy, one meets the Incomprehensible Lord.
ਸਾਧਕੈਸੰਗਿਸਦਾਪਰਫੁਲੈ॥
ਅਤੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਦਾ ਖਿੜੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
In the Company of the Holy, one flourishes forever.
ਸਾਧਕੈਸੰਗਿਆਵਹਿਬਸਿਪੰਚਾ॥
ਸਾਧ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਰਿਹਾਂ ਕਾਮਾਦਿਕ ਪੰਜ ਵਿਕਾਰ ਕਾਬੂ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ,
In the Company of the Holy, the five passions are brought to rest.
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਰਸੁਭੁੰਚਾ॥
(ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮਨੁੱਖ) ਨਾਮ ਰੂਪ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਦਾ ਰਸ ਚੱਖ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
In the Company of the Holy, one enjoys the essence of ambrosia.
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿਹੋਇਸਭਕੀਰੇਨ॥
ਸਾਧ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਕੀਤਿਆਂ (ਮਨੁੱਖ) ਸਭ (ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀਆਂ) ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਧੂੜ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
In the Company of the Holy, one becomes the dust of all.
ਸਾਧਕੈਸੰਗਿਮਨੋਹਰਬੈਨ॥
ਅਤੇ (ਸਭ ਨਾਲ) ਮਿੱਠੇ ਬਚਨ ਬੋਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
In the Company of the Holy, one's speech is enticing.
ਸਾਧਕੈਸੰਗਿਨਕਤਹੂੰਧਾਵੈ॥
ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੰਗ ਰਿਹਾਂ (ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ) ਮਨ ਕਿਸੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੌੜਦਾ ਹੈ,
In the Company of the Holy, the mind does not wander.
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿਅਸਥਿਤਿਮਨੁਪਾਵੈ॥
ਅਤੇ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ) ਟਿਕਾਉ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
In the Company of the Holy, the mind becomes stable.
ਸਾਧਕੈਸੰਗਿਮਾਇਆਤੇਭਿੰਨ॥
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕਿਆਂ (ਮਨੁੱਖ) ਮਾਇਆ (ਦੇ ਅਸਰ) ਤੋਂ ਬੇ-ਦਾਗ਼ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ
In the Company of the Holy, one is rid of Maya.
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿਨਾਨਕਪ੍ਰਭਸੁਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ॥੨॥
ਅਤੇ ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਇਸ ਉਤੇ ਦਇਆਵਾਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
In the Company of the Holy, O Nanak, God is totally pleased. ||2||
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿਦੁਸਮਨਸਭਿਮੀਤ॥
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਰਿਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਵੈਰੀ (ਭੀ) ਮਿਤ੍ਰ (ਦਿੱਸਣ ਲੱਗ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ),
In the Company of the Holy, all one's enemies become friends.
ਸਾਧੂਕੈਸੰਗਿਮਹਾਪੁਨੀਤ॥
(ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) ਸਾਧ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਵਿਚ (ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਆਪਣਾ ਹਿਰਦਾ) ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਫ਼ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
In the Company of the Holy, there is great purity.
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿਕਿਸਸਿਉਨਹੀਬੈਰੁ॥
ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਬੈਠਿਆਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਵੈਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਂਦਾ,
In the Company of the Holy, no one is hated.
ਸਾਧਕੈਸੰਗਿਨਬੀਗਾਪੈਰੁ॥
ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਮੰਦੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਪੈਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੁੱਟੀਦਾ।
In the Company of the Holy, one's feet do not wander.
ਸਾਧਕੈਸੰਗਿਨਾਹੀਕੋਮੰਦਾ॥
ਭਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਕੋਈ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਭੈੜਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਸਦਾ,
In the Company of the Holy, no one seems evil.
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿਜਾਨੈਪਰਮਾਨੰਦਾ॥
(ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖ) ਉੱਚੇ ਸੁਖ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ।
In the Company of the Holy, supreme bliss is known.
ਸਾਧਕੈਸੰਗਿਨਾਹੀਹਉਤਾਪੁ॥
ਸਾਧੂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਾਰੀ ਅਪਣੱਤ ਛੱਡ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
In the Company of the Holy, the fever of ego departs.
ਸਾਧਕੈਸੰਗਿਤਜੈਸਭੁਆਪੁ॥
ਗੁਰਮੁਖ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਕੀਤਿਆਂ ਹਉਮੈ ਰੂਪ ਤਾਪ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਂਦਾ।
In the Company of the Holy, one renounces all selfishness.
ਆਪੇਜਾਨੈਸਾਧਬਡਾਈ॥
ਸਾਧ ਦੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ,
He Himself knows the greatness of the Holy.
ਨਾਨਕਸਾਧਪ੍ਰਭੂਬਨਿਆਈ॥੩॥
(ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਸਾਧ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਪੱਕਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਪੈ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
O Nanak, the Holy are at one with God. ||3||
ਸਾਧਕੈਸੰਗਿਨਕਬਹੂਧਾਵੈ॥
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਰਿਹਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਕਦੇ ਭਟਕਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ,
In the Company of the Holy, the mind never wanders.
ਸਾਧਕੈਸੰਗਿਸਦਾਸੁਖੁਪਾਵੈ॥
(ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) ਸਾਧ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ (ਮਨੁੱਖ) ਸਦਾ ਸੁਖ ਮਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ।
In the Company of the Holy, one obtains everlasting peace.
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿਬਸਤੁਅਗੋਚਰਲਹੈ॥
ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ) ਨਾਮ ਰੂਪ ਅਗੋਚਰ ਵਸਤ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ,
In the Company of the Holy, one grasps the Incomprehensible.
ਸਾਧੂਕੈਸੰਗਿਅਜਰੁਸਹੈ॥
(ਅਤੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ) ਇਹ ਨਾਹ ਜਰਿਆ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਮਰਤਬਾ ਜਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
In the Company of the Holy, one can endure the unendurable.
ਸਾਧਕੈਸੰਗਿਬਸੈਥਾਨਿਊਚੈ॥
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉਚੇ (ਆਤਮਕ) ਟਿਕਾਣੇ ਤੇ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ,
In the Company of the Holy, one abides in the loftiest place.
ਸਾਧੂਕੈਸੰਗਿਮਹਲਿਪਹੂਚੈ॥
ਅਤੇ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਜੁੜਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
In the Company of the Holy, one attains the Mansion of the Lord's Presence.
ਸਾਧਕੈਸੰਗਿਦ੍ਰਿੜੈਸਭਿਧਰਮ॥
ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ (ਮਨੁੱਖ) ਸਾਰੇ ਧਰਮਾਂ (ਫ਼ਰਜ਼ਾਂ) ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਮਝ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
In the Company of the Holy, one's Dharmic faith is firmly established.
ਸਾਧਕੈਸੰਗਿਕੇਵਲਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ॥
ਅਤੇ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਨੂੰ (ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਹੈ)।
In the Company of the Holy, one dwells with the Supreme Lord God.
ਸਾਧਕੈਸੰਗਿਪਾਏਨਾਮਨਿਧਾਨ॥
ਸਾਧ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ (ਮਨੁੱਖ) ਨਾਮ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਲੱਭ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ;
In the Company of the Holy, one obtains the treasure of the Naam.
ਨਾਨਕਸਾਧੂਕੈਕੁਰਬਾਨ॥੪॥
(ਤਾਂ ਤੇ) ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ-) ਮੈਂ ਸਾਧ ਜਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸਦਕੇ ਹਾਂ ॥੪॥
O Nanak, I am a sacrifice to the Holy. ||4||
ਸਾਧਕੈਸੰਗਿਸਭਕੁਲਉਧਾਰੈ॥
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ (ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ) ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੁਲਾਂ (ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ) ਬਚਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
In the Company of the Holy, all one's family is saved.
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿਸਾਜਨਮੀਤਕੁਟੰਬਨਿਸਤਾਰੈ॥
ਤੇ (ਆਪਣੇ) ਸੱਜਣਾਂ ਮਿੱਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਤੇ ਪਰਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਤਾਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
In the Company of the Holy, one's friends, acquaintances and relatives are redeemed.
ਸਾਧੂਕੈਸੰਗਿਸੋਧਨੁਪਾਵੈ॥
ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਧਨ ਲੱਭ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
In the Company of the Holy, that wealth is obtained.
ਜਿਸੁਧਨਤੇਸਭੁਕੋਵਰਸਾਵੈ॥
ਜਿਸ ਧਨ ਦੇ ਮਿਲਣ ਨਾਲ ਹਰੇਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨਾਮਣੇ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Everyone benefits from that wealth.
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿਧਰਮਰਾਇਕਰੇਸੇਵਾ॥
ਸਾਧੂ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਰਿਹਾਂ ਧਰਮਰਾਜ (ਭੀ) ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ,
In the Company of the Holy, the Lord of Dharma serves.
ਸਾਧਕੈਸੰਗਿਸੋਭਾਸੁਰਦੇਵਾ॥
ਅਤੇ (ਦੇਵਤੇ ਭੀ) ਸੋਭਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
In the Company of the Holy, the divine, angelic beings sing God's Praises.
ਸਾਧੂਕੈਸੰਗਿਪਾਪਪਲਾਇਨ॥
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਪਾਪ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ,
In the Company of the Holy, one's sins fly away.
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਗੁਨਗਾਇਨ॥
(ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਓਥੇ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਅਮਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਗੁਣ (ਮਨੁੱਖ) ਗਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
In the Company of the Holy, one sings the Ambrosial Glories.
ਸਾਧਕੈਸੰਗਿਸ੍ਰਬਥਾਨਗੰਮਿ॥
ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਸਭ ਥਾਈਂ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ (ਭਾਵ, ਉੱਚੀ ਆਤਮਕ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਆ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ);
In the Company of the Holy, all places are within reach.
